Aww man, toys were stupidly important to me as a kid. And yet I still managed to find the time to get outside as well as stay inside and play my Mega Drive all the time! Sonic 3 FTW! Pretty much any cartoon series or line of toys/action figures you can think of, I had boxes of. Spider-Man, X-Men and pretty much any other line of Marvel comics toys were particular favourites. Then there was obviously the Lego, Transformers, Action-Man, G.I.Joe, Plastic Guns/swords, Ghostbusters (action figures and wearable Proton-packs! ^_^), Toy cars, water pistols and so on. And now here I am sitting doing mostly nothing for the majority of my days. Dude, my life's really gone down hill since childhood!
Now, tell me how allergies have ruined your life, and the lives of people around you. What's your poison? Bee stings? Peanuts? Small children?
Children! Definately the Children! >_< God I hates 'em, I 'ATES 'EM! Well, maybe just people in general I don't like. ¬_¬ Like I already told you, I don't know anything about allergies since, as far as I'm aware, I haven't got any. Although I've known many people who do and had to watch them go through it, so you definately have my sympathy. Boss-man will understand, otherwise you just carry on the job and then sue his *** for all he's worth!

Terminator 2: Judgement Day is easily the greatest film of all time, let alone a great old-ish ('91) film. I was practially raised on that film and the first one and my life wouldn't be complete without them. They have so much, a little of everything thrown in. James Cameron, I salute you! As for others, I'm not sure. I've never been very good at picking favourites. I definately agree with Tombstone about the BttF movies. They are just awesome, no question.

Aww, I'm really sad to see this go. Especially after such a nifty epilogue. I only hope that Gavin is serious about this follow-up and doesn't take his sweet ass time delivering.

As much as I love my music, I must say I really do loathe and despise musicals. They just don't sit well with me for whatever reason. And like yourself, I'm a musician too. Again, I started playing drums thanks to listening to Metallica and I absolutely love it. My only problem is that I'm constantly having trouble forming a band/keeping it together for any extensive period of time. But the first time I actually played drums together with one of my friends playing guitar was also one of those experiances that just made me feel indescribable! When I went to see Rammstein this time last year was also an incredible experience, not in the league that Metallica did but Rammstein sure do put on one hell of an awesome show! All I can say is that after 9 years or so of waiting to see them, I realise that that was the thing missing in my life. I'd give anything to go back and see them again. No question about when they tour next year. And despite the general consensus that St. Anger was crap, I still can't wait for the new album!

I guess we should just get it out of the way that I'm totally in love with music. Well, better make that good music. Or perhaps music that I like. Anyway, I'm straying from my point. I've been listening to Metallica since early '98 and they've been my favourite band ever sense, bar none. Listening to their music has helped me through my life and definately had a huge impact on me as a person and my life as a whole. Yesterday was the first time since listening to them that I got to go see them live. And by God what an experience it was. After those stupid support bands were out of the way I loved every minute of the show! It was definately one of those long-lasting life experiences that only come along once in a while that you just can't describe. So I ask you all this question: Has your life been shaped by music and have you ever had such a breath-taking experience as a result of music that you just don't know what the hell to say?

The end? Seriously!? Aww man. Sure I'm disappointed but that's certainly been a great pleasure to read I must say and a very satisfying end! Huge amounts of love and respect to you for keeping me, the king of laziness, interested for such an extended period. Do thrill us with your fabulous writing skills again sometime soon in the future! ^-^ And cheers Gav, much respect for the compliment. I'll try to finish for your sake!

Dude! Was this seriously written by the same girl who dropped so low as to ask me (of all people) for inspiration? In any case, bravo, bravo to you D, that was expertly written and kicked all sort of Áss! Don't stop now, it can only get better! [Note: Yay! Super-Saiyan Andrew = Teh Bóllócks!]

Name: Angelus Hyperion Age: 28 Gender: Male Kingdom: Johto Pokémon – Type: Tyranitar (Male) Pokémon – Name: Proteus Writing Preview: All it took was a little bustle in the camp to stir Angelus, his hazel eyes steadily opening to look upon the leaves of the tree he slept under. The floor had been relatively comfortable compared to the grounds of his family’s mountain ranch. Although he now found his bare and muscled back somewhat itchy from the small layer of grass below his blanket. He resisted the urge to scratch and sat up to face the rising Sun, his eyes adjusting to Its offensive rays. The climate was a lot warmer than the thick clouds of Mount Silver to be sure. Angelus’ usually pale skin already becoming richly tanned after but a day or two, his light brown hair turning blond like in his younger days. Even sleeping naked near the small stream left him cloaked in a layer of sweat. After a short swim in the stream to cool and clean himself off, Angelus dressed in his light fabric under-suit, opting to forgo the full armour for the time being for obvious reasons. Reaching into the trees where he’d slept, Angelus used his gymnast-like grace and agility to gather several berries. After a quick sniff and inspection he threw the over and under-ripe ones away, swallowed some and stuffed the rest into his pocket. Just as Angelus sat to prepare his fire ready for breakfast he heard the soft crackling of the underbrush and a light stomping sound. He smirked to himself thinking Impeccable timing my friend. For a Tyranitar of his size (Or for any Tyranitar for that matter), Proteus was amazingly light on his feet, much like Angelus himself. When Angelus turned to see Proteus waltz out of the bushes dragging a fresh Stantler carcass behind, his smirk widened. Angelus remembered his early years spent on the Hyperion Family ranch whose sole purpose was to tame the incredibly wild Larvitar and it’s higher stages. In most cases, Hyperion family members were set with Larvitar’s from birth, Angelus and Proteus being born only days apart themselves. Angelus’ father had insisted that sparring with the creature himself was suicide and that no man-wielded weapon could ever get through the impenetrable, armour-like skin of a fully grown Tyranitar. As true as that may have been, the sparring was more for Angelus’ benefit than Proteus. The many scars that littered his body were proof of what he’d fought through. As Angelus lost himself in his nostalgia he begin idly fingering the only man-made scar on his body. It was a tattoo shaped like a Tyranitar’s head on his right arm, Proteus’ head more specifically. Something his father said would bond them further after Proteus had finally come out of his Pupitar stage. “You know I like to hunt for my own breakfast Proteus” The large Tyranitar, standing even a foot taller than Captain Narciso’s Donphan, merely grunted and tossed the Stantler into the fire Angelus had already prepared. A small Fire Blast later and both were about to dig into some prime Stantler meat when someone spoke from the camp clearing to Angelus’ right. “Hyperion, Sir.” A disciplined, calm voice. Angelus eyed the younger soldier curiously. “Speak soldier.” He responded stoically. “Sir, Captain Narciso will be briefing us shortly.” Angelus nodded dismissing the soldier before taking a large bite of the leg he was holding. “Better eat well my friend, it would appear that battle is not far from our horizon.”

I've already run the question by Will, but I figure the question should be made public for others who wanna sign-up. With Pokémon like Zubat who are Kanto but later evolve into Johto Pokémon, Crobat (and the later two Eevee-lutions), which side would I sign-up with? Just curious because Crobat or perhaps Umbreon are running through my head right now for choices.

“We’re here” His strong voice suddenly more subdued. Theron didn’t say a word, she just focused her eyes in the direction she perceived John to be looking. John quickly snaked his way from the tracks, slipped up the light incline of the banking to the side and slinked behind a tree just enough so that he could still see his mark. As if knowing he’d need them, John pulled out a small pair of black binoculars from an inside pocket of his jacket and held it up to his eyes. As he held it infront of Theron’s eyes he began to speak. “Three guys. The green haired one’s a Nicky. His name escapes me, something foreign though. Von-snicket or something. Don’t think I’ve talked to him or been introduced formally but I recognise him. I don’t know the other guys though. One of them looks human I’d say, something in the way he carries himself.” Happy with his analysis and that she’d seen enough, John brought the binoculars back down and into his pocket. Theron, still sitting atop her high throne, eyed them disinterestedly but looked like she was considering something. “Well, what ya reckon?” He asked, the confidant, almost child-like excited tone back in his voice. “I reckon,” She said, mimicking his welsh accent “You still haven’t answered my question.” Still observing the little gathering. Not wanting to make her ask a third time, knowing she hated to repeat herself, John just thought it better to get it over with. “Well, ya know TAM,” he smirked a little, knowing that calling her by her initials as a nickname annoyed her, a little revenge for making him explain his motives, “I’ve always wanted to see space and all that, so I don’t really wanna see these Auggie-fuckers blow up half the planet or something with their nuclear shit and kill most of the people who’ll get me there.” Theron scowled a little, as he guessed she would, at the name he’d used and then rolled her eyes when he mentioned his space-dream, also as he guessed she would. Theron never did approve of his space aspirations. He continued to stare at her as she kept her focus on the group. After he stared long enough she huffed and turned to face him. He just smiled back, a wide cheshire grin on his face. “So, what’s your interest in this little girl? Or can you just not bare to part with me for any period of time?” he asked, adding the last part very sarcastically.
...and critique my numerous plot holes.[/font']
It's my understanding that one requires a plot before one can have plot holes, ya? ¬_¬ I kid, you know my opinion on this story and, if there are holes of plot, I haven't noticed them. If anything, my only concern is that the part about Highschool in the title is a little dated now that they're not actually in highschool. I do look forward to a fresh chapter on Monday though. A nice treat for my birthday I should think.

The Inevitable O-Lounge Blondes Vs Brunettes!
Andrew replied to Andrew's topic in General Discussion
Actually Dead, we're both right (or wrong depending on your standing). Red hair is related to both Blonde and brown hair. See Wiki article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_hair So stick your stooge comment in a pipe and smoke it. -
The Inevitable O-Lounge Blondes Vs Brunettes!
Andrew replied to Andrew's topic in General Discussion
Not sure about being more valuable than diamonds, but I've never any. And I didn't mention Red since I consider it a demented sub-catorgary of Blonde. Or something. Nevermind. ¬_¬ -
I hate admitting to guilty pleasures. It kind of takes away some of the pleasure in them, if ya know what I mean. ¬_¬ 1. I still act things out and talk to myself all the time when nobody's looking. 2. No matter how bad they are, I can still sit and watch a whole half hour of the crappy Sonic Underground cartoon. 3. I never, EVER walk past a mirror without quickly glancing at myself in it. I don't know what to say really. And as much as it pains me to admit it, I occasionally listen to Avril Lavigne ... And enjoy it. >_

The Inevitable O-Lounge Blondes Vs Brunettes!
Andrew replied to Andrew's topic in General Discussion
I don't even know what brunette means.
Brunette is just a fancy [AKA Girly] way of saying you have brown-coloured hair. I thought that would have been fairly obvious to anyone. The colour I put the word in in my original post should have helped too. -
Does that mean that it's too late for me to sign-up under the banner of Tsuchi?

Blondes Vs Brunettes "Who's teh best-er-est!?" Need I say anymore really? I'm not really sure where I stand on this front. I always used to have a head of bright golden hair and now that I'm older it's more of a really dark blonde/really light brown affair. Maybe I'm somewhere in the middle but meh. As far as the colour goes on girls, I really don't have a preference but maybe you all do, so tell us about it. Let the arguments begin! [NOTE: Not really sure where black-haired people fit in on this *Shrugs*]
You have to come out to the community sometime, Andrew. Two posts in the space of like ten hours. Not to mention two awesome posts. I'm very much impressed. I really like the character interaction, and Wills' introduction wasn't half bad, for an Englishman. ¬_¬ Although Gavin, yet again, makes a solid point about sleeping conditions. That whole 'Gay!' comment had me a little worried for a while. Bravo once again D.

Another exceptional chapter, to be sure. You can really feel the build-up. Or at least I can. Although the build-up to what is my main question. Keep them coming at us! On that note, I'm quite pleased with the speed at which you have been delivering chapters, especially such consistantly pleasing and interesting ones. Keep up the good work there D.

An excellent addition I must say. I really do approve of my slowly building part! You really do listen to what I have to say! ^_^ Nice suggestion from Gavin about the sparring too, made for a really fun post. Keep them comin' at us now ya hear?

Writing Directions to where you live - writing challenge
Andrew replied to Roxie Faye's topic in Creative Works
I think this is a really interesting idea and I'd love to try it myself, but as usual my head gets in the way. Generally when I do something I have to do it all the way or not at all otherwise I feel like I'm doing something wrong. Knowing this, and also knowing that there's no way I'd ever manage to fit all the points I'd like to make about my life into one writing session I gave up before I even started. Which in a way kinda gives you a brief idea of what my life has turned me into. When I do something I have to do it all the way or not at all, which is why a lot of things I'd like to do, I never end up doing. ¬_¬ I like to think of myself as a Motivationally-Challenged Perfectionist, although most people end up calling me lazy. Maybe I will try to write one up, who knows? But nice job to all the rest of you though, I enjoyed dipping myself into your life for a while, don't feel too violated now! -
John knew enough not to pressure her further. Theron was being nice about her tight lips now but if he continued to interrogate her he’d find himself feeling rather soar in the morning. Many mornings to come for that matter. Instead he decided upon a more hurt-free method to gaining info. They continued walking a few steps as John drew out his phone, pushed some buttons to bring up the desired contact and then held the phone to his ear, letting it ring. After the standard four rings a change in tone indicated that the phone had been picked up. Theron didn’t hear the other side of the conversation, only heard John’s greeting. “You kicking about anywhere to chat right now?” John suddenly seemed surprised and then looked up at the roof of the building next to them. Theron followed his gaze, noting the man-shaped figure on the roof, left hand waving and right hand held close to his ear. John hung up the phone put it back in his jeans pocket and nodded to the figure. “Be back in a flash.” With a slight bend at his knees John leapt to the second story window of the building, then with a further leap landed on the roof of the five-story building. Theron closed her eyes and continued listening to the rain as she waited. After a few moments, John appeared again in front of her, landing without a sound. A slight nod of his head indicated the direction they were going to walk. “That was Little Nicky, he’s my newest friend. He’s been with the Nici’s for about 5 years or so.” He explained. Theron made no indication that she understood or was even listening as they continued walking but John knew she was taking in what he was saying. “He says Drigg should be heading to pick up some Augustine reinforcements somewhere along the line anywhere after 10 or 11 tonight and then continuing on to the Palace.” “Of the Buckingham variety.” She interrupted. Stating, already knowing which Palace he meant. “Yeah. He says it was fairly difficult to come by, but he’s a sneaky litl’ rascal. He may not have been one of us for very long, but he knows how to get info, I’ll give him that much. Although, he’s not sure of the exact location so I figure we’ll just walk the line towards the nuclear place and see what we see.” She nodded mutely, agreeing with his method in discovering the train. John thought she was getting a little depressed but knew better than to indicate he felt something was bothering her. Thoughts of taking a beating from such a small woman made him smirk. “I haven’t walked the line in a while so it should be fun too!” he added. She eyed him for only a millisecond but it was long enough for him to wish he’d just shut up instead. They carried on towards the start of the train tracks in silence, nothing but the sound of rain between them.
