[i]She shook her head and brushed the thought aside. Whatever it was was behind them now. After a few minutes, they could see the village in the distance, maybe about a half a mile away. The group then stopped.[/i] Auron-There's the village. Mara-Yes. Now if you have any cloaks, hats, or anything else you can use to disguise yourself with, do it now. We can't risk being seen any longer. [i]The group nodded. Elsyan drew out a hooded cloak from her pack and wrapped it around her with the hood covering her face. Soon they were ready and once again started towards the village.[/i]

ooc: Man! After all that action, I'm starting to regret that my character went off training. lol. I'm going to join back up with you before I miss anything else. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ [i]Nearly 1 week had passed since Elsyan had left to train, and the training had been a success for her strength had greatly improved. Finally, she decided that it was time to rejoin her comrades. She was flying on Runeth's back over the land while trying to find any clue as to where the group would be. [/i] Runeth-I can't wait to see our friends again. It feels like it's been months since we saw them! Elsyan-It's only been a week, Runeth, but we'll see them soon. I wonder what all has happened since we've been gone? Runeth-Probably alot......Hey! Look! [i]On the horizon they could see the shape of a tower looming up in the distance.[/i] Elsyan-I bet that's where they are. Let's go! [i]Runeth put on an extra burst of speed as they flew towards the tower.[/i]

[i]The group stops in front of the forest.[/i] Relee-This doesn't look too friendly. Elsyan-Miko, did you say "Omen Forest"? Miko-yeah. That's what the sign said. Elsyan-I've heard rumors about this forest. It's under an ancient Dark Wizard's curse. Travellers would often travel through here, but none of them ever returned. What happened to them is a mystery. Mara-I've heard that rumor too, but we can't let that stop us. We'll just have to be the first ones to get through. [i]Slowly, they entered the Omen forest while wondering what dangers lay before them. [/i]

[i]Elysan took one last look at blazing village and quickly turned her head away. She slowly had to agree that there was nothing they could do. [/i] Runeth-Aren't we going to help them? Elsyan-no. They're right. *sigh* We can't do anything about it. We wouldn't even have anything to put the flames out with. what's wrong with spiders? They're so cute with all their little legs moving around and when they suck another bug's blood... :p ^_^ heh. I would LOVE to see one of those dock spiders. Now some of you say that there are hardly any exotic creatures are in Florida. What do you think crocodiles and aligators are?! They seem pretty exotic to me. I'll KILL him!! Elsyan-*helps him up* Maybe you shouldn't mess with him. Hunter-Why's that? I can easily take him. Elsyan-I think he's stronger than he wants us to know about. When he kicked me, it seemed as if his energy increased somewhat, or he kicked just a little too hard. Hunter-Well, whatever it is, if he throws a mug or ANYTHING at me one more time, all Hell's gonna break loose.

Elsyan-Here we are, Runeth: Training ground number one! [i]Elsyan and Runeth had been travelling for a while now in the forest trying to find a place to train. They had been meditating along the way, resting, exercising, and trying out new spells in the short amount of time since they had departed from the main group. Presently, they were standing in front of a cave in the side of a cliff.[/i] Runeth-This cave has goblins in it, Elysan. I can feel it. Elsyan-Then let the training begin. [i]Elsyan picked up a rather large rock and hurrled it into the cave where it made a loud echo.[/i] Elsyan-Alright, you scum! Come on out and face me if you dare. [i]About a score of angry goblins poured out from the cave in rage. One of them, who seemed to be the leader, had a gash in his side, apparently from the rock Elsyan threw. It howled in rage as the goblins charged forward. Elsyan drew her sword and prepared for the attack.[/i] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ [i]In no time at all, the goblins' corpses were all about the entrance of the cave. Elsyan cleaned her blade on the grass as Runeth flew to her shoulder again.[/i] Runeth-You've improved alot, Elsyan. Can we return to our friends again? Elsyan-Not yet. We might return in about two days maximum if the rest of the training course goes well. Runeth-I still can't believe that you've learned this much already and it was just yesterday that we left. Elsyan-yes, but it's still not over yet. Let's keep moving on.

Elsyan-well, I have a tiny bottle of some Holy Water that I found around my house before I left. It was my father's, I think. It won't completely restore your vision, but it's all that we can do for now until we can find someone to fully heal you. Let me find it. [i]Elsyan began rummaging through her pack trying to find it.[/i] Elsyan-I know I put it in here somewhere.... *Runeth pops out of the bag and hands her the bottle* Ah! Thanks, Runeth. Kain-So, what happened? How did you become blind? ???-I'm not sure. There was a creature in my house and it spat this gooze in my eyes. Auron-By the looks of it I would say that it was a Snake Demon. Elsyan-I would have to agree with you there. *Elsyan finished applying the Water* There. Can you see now? ???-Yes, I can see, though my vision is still blurred a little.

[i]Elsyan was sitting in the branches of an oak tree while practicing some simple spells. She was taught sorcerrey (sp?) by an old wizard some years ago, and was now a master Sorceress. She had long brown hair, blue eyes, and was clad in a green shirt, black pants, a blue cape, and wore an Elven sword and a long bow at her side. Suddenly, her keen ears picked up some sounds from nearby. She leapt from branch to branch silently until she was just over a group of travellers.[/i] Soraya-Well, can we get going? Presently, they were at a bar and Elsyan was sitting in a corner seemingly to be lost in though. Finally she spoke.[/i] Elsyan-You know what, Runeth? Ever since the battle with the Balrog, I've been thinking about some things. Well, Mara just told me about what had happened after I went unconcious. The attack I did--- Runeth-It was a great attack, Elsyan. You almost defeated it. Elsyan-but that's just it, Runeth. I [i]almost[/i] defeated it. Apparently, the battles are going to be alot tougher, and if I can't defeat a little Balrog, what good am I? So I was thinking, why don't we go and train for a while? Runeth-It's a great idea, but I'll go only if you're sure you want to. Elsyan-I'm sure. Let's go right now. Runeth-but what about our friends? They won't know where we went. Elsyan-I left them a note in my room. Come on! [i]They exited the bar and the village entirely and went into the forest. They would keep walking until they had found the perfect spot miles away from any village to train.[/i]

[i]All of them went up the stairs and into their rooms. Botan arrived in hers and flopped down on the bed when she heard another little [/i][b]beep![/b][i] but it wasn't her communicator. It was the Spirit Energy Locator. She stared at it in disbelief.[/i] Botan-what? But...this says that there's a strong source of Spirit Energy somewhere in this hotel. And by the looks of it, it seems to be nothing but evil. [i]Then there was a knock on the door. Cautiously, (in case it was the owner of the evil Energy) Botan grabbed a chair and slowly opened the door. It was Tani.[/i] Botan-Phew. You scared me. I thought you were--- Tani-the person with the strong Spirit Energy? Botan-Exactly! Did your Spirit Energy Locator detect it too? Tani-yes. We should warn the others.

ooc: hey, Oblivion. My character is Elsyan the High Elf, and her companion is a little blue dragon named Runeth. Nice to meet you. ^_^ I also believe that Hunter had finished off Maria earlier, but I could be wrong, though. ;) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Elsyan-Ready, Runeth? Runeth-I'm ready. [i]Runeth jumped off Elsyan's shoulder and grew to his full size as Elsyan hopped on his back and flew into the air above the Balrog. [/i] Runeth-So [i]that's [/i]what a Balrog is. How do you kill them? Elsyan-It's not easy. Runeth-That sure tells alot... Elsyan-Well, it's made of fire, so maybe a water or ice attack will work. Fly above it and I'll try to kill it with my Elemental Flare. [i]Elsyan put her hands together as she concentrated her energy into a ball for several minutes. She was going to put all she had into this attack. Meanwhile, Runeth was dodging as the Balrog's fists were trying to knock them from the air. Finally, the attack was ready.[/i] Elsyan-Elemental Flare: Ice Spear! [i]Large amounts of energy that was in the shape of iceicles (sp?) shot directly towards the Balrog. The iceicles went right through it as the Balrog screamed in pain and was then frozen solid.[/i] Elsyan-I hope that was enough. I don't have any energy left. [i]Elsyan swayed as she fell asleep on her companions back. She hoped the Balrog was dead.[/i] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ooc: yeah yeah. I love [i]Pearls of Lutra[/i] also. The first book I read was [i]Salamandastron[/i], then [i]Long Patrol[/i], and then all the rest of them. [i]Legend of Luke[/i] was pretty good too, though. ^_^
