Yea I don't think I can watch audition. Way way way too nasty... But thanks for the suggestions so far. I am kinda looking for something a bit obscure though.

Well It's that time of year again. Today is halloween and I plan on watching horror movies for quite a bit after today. So I need some suggestions. What I am looking for is a horror flick like this. I want it to stay with me after I watch it. Not a ridiculous amount of nasty crap (basically if it is like saw gore wise and it relies on that alone don't recommend it) Some kind of interesting idea behind it(like a moral or something) Has to be actually scary.

Wow Dog Fashion Disco's Worm In a Dogs Heart is a freaking perfect song for Halloween. Just the first couple seconds sound like something a serial killer would listen to while killing his or her victim.

The classic crappy game double step sound. whenever a person takes one step you hear *click click*. Besides that one there is the "UGH" from halo 2-3 whenever you get a kill on someone when it is really quiet and you are a spartan. But the best oen is the sound of female sorceresses dying on ogre battle 64. Sounds like 80's video game porn sounds. AWESOME!

Exhumed is suppose to be death metal right? Then why does their lead singer sound so black metal like? Maybe I don't listen to enough black and death metal but from the black metal bands I have heard the fellas from Exhumed sound a lot like them. But then again I could be wrong. Actually I am most likely wrong. @[B]Jake[/B]-Gunslinger started it. I was right in the first place. All I was trying to do was settle things with kam and he jumped in.

But apparently Jakehammeren can only say facts so I guess it must be true. Anyway I don't really feel like arguing with you Kam. I understand where you are coming from. The bands whole lineup doesn't suck. I just think that the rest of the band doesn't make of for the vocals of those bands. And It's those two specifically not death metal vocals as a whole. Which is a personal preference rather than a all encompassing fact. P.S. Cannibal Corpse has awesome album covers and T shirts...to bad I can't have a cannibal corpse avatar.

I mean it may not be the most important thing but it is still important. And actually I like a few Cannibal Corpse songs...mostly because they sound funny but they have a few catchy riffs. Oh and for the record no I havent heard ALL of either of their songs.

The only Death Metal band I have listened to on that little lsit was Morbid ANgel and htey do not sound ANYWHERE as bad as that. YOU may have not thought it was that bad (which I cannot comprehend) but If you actually compared them to cookie monster they would basically sound the same. Is cookie monster a bad singer? I think so. I think a band who has a lead signer who sounds like him does not qualify as good. I actually think they qualify as as the worst. Sure they might "inspire" people to make music but that still doesn't mean they will sound good to me.

Wow um wtf is up with Dying Fetus? I swear they hired COOKIE MONSTER to do their vocals for them...I mean seriously wtf? This is officially the WORST death metal group PERIOD.

[U]Best[/U] [B]Tool[/B]-They are the most unique thing in music I have ever heard. Almost every song is a completely different journey. These guys experiment with ideas and blow them out of the park. My favorite song right now is[I] AEnima[/I]. The aggression is there and you can almost feel the hate. But even though that is true you can still hear the beauty in Maynard's voice. [U]Second Best[/U] [B] A Perfect Circle[/B]-They don't seem as unique as Tool. Hell they even have a few songs I don't like. But Maynard manages to sing more beautifully for them than Tool most of the time. Right now [I]Believe[/I] is my favorite song. It has an amazing first 30 seconds. [U] Third Best[/U] [B] Acid Bath[/B]-Innovators and legends of their genre. They have probably the most grimy vocals ever but they don't have to gut scream the whole time. They even play some soft non metal songs pretty well. Even when they tone down the noise though the lyrical content is still pretty fricken hardcore. My favorite song is Dead Gil. A more melodic and soft song. The lyrics flow out so nicely and the tune is so catchy I just gotta love em.

I got used to screaming by Nu-Metal and Hard Rock bands. I gradually became used to them and now often it adds a good bit of aggression when they growl or something like that.

I thought Elfen Lied was stupid. Blood,guts,boobs,moronic characters(you don't tell a person what money is for but you give them a ton of it...wtf?) and a rinky dink story don't make for a classic. Ok enough of slipknot. Time to talk about Tool and a Perfect circle. A.K.A my 2 favorite bands period. Tool=sex via sound For me everything is perfect drums bass guitar and vocals mesh to make overall epicness. A Perfect Circle is almost perfect. The only thing is Maynard feels like being a lazy **** and his voice sounds like crap. But when he does it right it sound just as good if not better than Tool.
