When I watched Eflen Lied I couldn't stop turning it off mid episode and saying "who thinks of this garbage?!" Then of course I turn it back on 1 episode later the same thing happens. That's what happens when I watch bad anime.
BUT TEH MARZ VOLTAS IS THE BEST GUITARSISTS EVAR!!1!!1!one11!!!1 ZOMGS ALL OTHER SUGGESTIIOLNS ARE WORTHLESS LOLZ!!!!!111!11!!!one1!
Worthless music is teh ****. Like Slipknot. I instantly lose credibility for liking them everywhere I go. Do they still sound better than everyone the person who discredited me likes? Hell yes!
Yes it did. Now I'm going to join the club and, instead of naming interesting musicians, I'm going to go jizz all over these Mars Volta albums.
Bandwagoning is fun!
Now I really respect you. Anyone who thinks KH is epic, is a good person. But I don't think it's off-topic. It's pretty relevant inmy books. Mostly because KH has a manga, and that manga could be an anime some day. See what I mean?
It combines Disney stuff (which is generally uber epic) and final fantasy which is basically decent rpgs game play mixed with epic cut scenes.(the anime is sorta epic when they fight omega). Kaleido Star's OP is pretty damn good(New Wings). I just heard the whole thing and it's pretty catchy. It is kinda wacky and a bit inspiring at the same time. Which is cool.

Just to be an *******... 6.Ryan Martinie-Yea I know he's a bassist...but he might as well be the damn lead guitarist. I mean he is basically the best musician in Mudvayne and you can actually hear him just as much if not more than the guitar. Plus his solos are better. Also he makes the actual guitar not sound bland...so there.
2. The song that ain't simple and clean, Santuary - Kingdom hearts II - I'm sorry to say this DB, but much to your chagrin, I love the theme to KH2. Why? Becasue of her voice, and the cutscene. And the game. >_>
That one is pretty good to. I didn't really wanna ramble about that one too...I was already sorta off topic with simple and clean to start with. That song is good though. It's got a that Epic feel to it. And if KH is anything it is Epic...
37. Fake Wings - .hack//SIGN insert track(link) How can I give you bullcrap for a song that's on my own list as well? lol. Although Simple and Clean is a video game song, I'm sure you won't be the only one to use it >_> much to my chagrin
Yea well if it was an actual anime song it would be up top....but I guess if Tool songs were anime songs they would be up top too... Also when I used to post here I got a lot of bullcrap for basically everything I said.

If you could choose to add your own music to the anime you have seen and replace whatever music was their before what would it be? what anime would it be for? What portion of the anime would you put the music in for? Why? For me I would replace most of the music in Highlander. It was good and everything but I just don't think it was bad *** enough. I think if they put some black metal during the hardcore war scenes it would have been amazing. I mean the earlier battles were the perfect setting for it. Imagine if you will a battalion of northern European soldiers charging toward some Romans with Naglfar playing in the background. That would be some hardcore manly ****. So basically during the battle scenes I would throw in Black Metal and to be more specific Naglfar.(drools over the concept) Ok so now that I have my fantasy out of the way here is my second one. They are sorta light spoilers but just in case you want to have no information about chobits before you watch it here ya go spoiler tags.
During the Chobits when Hediki first gets chii and she begins learning they should play Lateralus from Tool. Why you might ask?Well the lyrics are "Black and White are all I see in my infancy." She has the mind of an infant and those are the only colors infants see when they are...infants. Yea so basically it would represent her growth as a...sentient being I guess? Also that song is overall bad ***...actually Tool overall is bad ***. They should just replace everything with tools songs... they should play Jambi during romantic moments since that's about as close as they come to a love song. During darker sexual moments they could play prison sex since it is well...about a kinda perverted subject. During lighter fan services moments they could play stink fist since it is more about masturbation than hardcore rape or anything. Ok I think I am tool fanboying to hard now...so I will stop with that while I'm ahead.
Before I end the post remember For spoilers use spoiler tags. I asked why...so that means post reasons.

I don't want any bullcrap for saying this... Fake Wings From .Hack//sign is my favorite of all time. The lady has such a beautiful voice. It's amazing to be honest. There is no other song in music period that I have found that is like it. The instrumentals aren't uber difficult sounding but they go well with the singer. Also the Lyrics of the song fit well when played in the anime and also when you just listen to it. It's simple and beautiful. I don't know if this counts as a video game song or what but Simple and Clean From Kingdom hearts is pretty good too. I think the person who created that song did songs for anime as well...so yea...If you heard it you know why I like it. The lyrics are nothing spectacular but they are nice and fit the song. The instrumentals are excellent. Those are the top two that come to mind. I listened to the first few...I hate J-Rock so I disagree with them...a lot.

I watch anime in my underpants. I can't watch it with my lights turned on. I have to listen to slayer every 3 episodes of any shojo anime.

Ogre Battle 64 is my favorite RPG of all time. It is for the N64. It has a lot of character development and used the whole lawful and chaotic idea long before it was made hugely popular. The game play is pretty unique, it is turn based real time rpg/rts. The Strategy is real time the rpg is turned based...you would kinda need to play it to understand fully. It has hundreds of hours of game play. There are thousands of items and things like that to obtain.

Anime Does anyone know a good Yaoi anime series?
Panache replied to Vigilance's topic in Otaku Central
Like real yaoi or lovey dovey yaoi? -
Wow some people take these boards as really serious business. I just come here and like to talk I don't really build any relationships like that. Sure I have friends (more accurately had friends I was on a yearlong hiatus do to the fact that this place kept pissing me off...)but that's all.

Yea September 11th sucked. I hope I don't sound like an *** by saying this but well I was in 5th grade. We were about to take a test I didn't study for...and I got to go home. I was like 10 years old so I was like "w00t no school!" Then I turned on the TV. I saw nothing but planes hitting buildings. I asked my mom why they were playing action movies on every channel(we didn't have cable). She said it wasn't a movie and it really happened...I remember almost crapping my pants then going hysterical. I thought we were all gonna die. I didn't really care about politics until after this event. I liked Bush until just recently. He is a good person(and a helluva lot better than Clinton) but he can't keep the people working for him in check. Also liking him makes you basically an outcast to any group of people I try to hang out with. Not that any of the new candidates look worthwhile. Since then I have grown older and seen a lot of the ******** that happens in this country and throughout the world. This was probably the big eye opening event that lead to that. This is just what happened to me personally. I am sure it was and still is very tough for all the victims and you have my condolences and prayers. I have no idea how you people feel and I certainly hope me nor anyone else has to feel like you guys do.
I would have to say there is nothing wrong with not being scarred. And though I find it a bit sad to see kids desensitized at such a young age, I don't see a problem with that either. Though I'll still argue that you're too young for such horror. ;) Personally, sometimes I kind of wish I was more desensitized since I rarely watch any horror films as they tend to be too creepy for my tastes. I know they aren't real, but technology has made such huge advances in making things look real that I've gotten where I'd rather not see the fake blood, gore, violence, etc. I'm more use to watching shows where the fear came from watching the people react instead of senseless blood and gore. A good example would be the original movie The Thing. Not the silly remake mind you, but the original black and white that came out in 1951. I definately prefer horror to be more psychological instead of graphic. So I guess in the end, I'm a wimp, and proud of it.
Well it's the highly psychological ones that don't bother me. It's the ones that are suppose to have a lasting impact that don't affect me. The bloody nasty ones that are like "Lols her eye popped out" I am like "this isn't horror it's violent porn." Do I like violent porn? Hellz no. On a side note I found a song that talks about this sorta thing by Tool. Awesome!

Hmm well Kino's Journey is my favorite series. Every mini arc is really unique and no idea is used twice. The art and animation is great. The main characters Kino and Hermes are a pretty good team. Character development wasn't all that necessary but it was there which was nice. The dub fit the series. All the deep philosophical stuff I have forgotten but I remember really enjoying that too. Metropolis is my favorite movie. Amazing animation and unique art are big here. The dub was perfect. Top 3 for sure. The overall story kept changing and it had a lot of going on. It really kept me entertained. They had a lot of metaphors and ideas behind the story which was cool to. Then the characters were all well rounded and interesting. They really didn't pull any punches in this one. I didn't wanna write too too much here because It would be a pain to read(I couldn't get through the first too posts..). So if you are curious enough to care about what else I like pm me...

Well Elfen Lied is pretty popular on gaia which is a pretty popular anime fan hang out. I personally hate it but I can't argue with 30 threads a day. Also Haibanei Renmei is fairly popular in artists circles.(I think this one thoroughly deserves it though).

Meh is still think Naruto is waaaaay better than Rave Master.
-
That can be said about a great many things. being better than Naruto doesn't make it good, though. Rave Master is better than Naruto, but that doesn't mean I still read it. (compared because they were my first 2 favorite manga.)
You think Rave Master is beter than Naruto? Thats pretty damn low.

My friends aren't wimps. The watch horror movies on a regular basis and generally aren't affected. Actually I have found something that scared the ever loving **** out of me recently. It is called the screw tape letters from C.S. Lewis. Scary stuff in there. Anyway I was mostly worried because I watched the Devils Rejects and wasn't really bothered. I was actually gonna put this in the Music/Tv/Movies section but then I doctored it up a bit for here. I am pretty much over it now. I guess media just doesn't scare me as much as it does my friends.
:\ better than Naruto anyday.
That's relative. I enjoy the Naruto manga more than the Nana manga most of the time. Sometimes the gushy shoujo crap and punk/emo Nana thing gets old.
-
Naruto obviously...>.> I prefer Nana, more original and interesting.
Eh? So your a shoujo kind of person? I really don't see what is so original about Nana. Nothing you don't see in the average soap opera. It's a great manga in my opinion but it's no Haibanei Renmei or Angels Egg.
-
OK well quite recently I have seen the Devils Rejects. I saw the original and it horrified me when I first saw. It now seeing this a few years later I thought it was funny... Now a bunch of people I know were like scarred for life by this movie. Some guy even needed therapy for a while...Is that normal? I mean it isn't just this one either. I saw hostel and nothing not even a little scared(well except when my mother screamed on the top of her lungs and I almost crapped my pants but that doesn't count...). I saw the descent as well and not a darn thing. It's not even purely movies. I play video games and things like that and things my buds get horrified by(the darkness, doom ect...) I think are child's play. These are pretty jaded dudes too. So what I am getting at is this. Is there something wrong with not being scared by anything the people in Hollywood(or whatever...) throw at me? Is it ok I am desensitized to such things at 16 years old? Are any of you guys like this?
If you have Fuse watch Ergo Proxy and Tenjho Tenge. Not that popular, but at least it's fufilling in the moment.
Ergo Proxy is pretty popular on the internet. Tenijho is as well. I personally think Tenjho is crap though...
>_> it's a mixed crowd, really. Best reason there's more Bleach cosplay than Narutard? Bleach cosplay = black gi, fake hair. Naruto requires you to build an entire outfit.
Yes the fashion police are on patrol and not many people will get away with orange tracksuits and headbands with shiny plastic on them without a fine. It's hard outside for a tard ya heard?
