I think another good combo would be Ed and the musician, Grim. All of the members of Bebop seem indecisive of Ed's sex, and Grim...well Grim is, um, er...you get the picture.

Yeah, the subs don't quite match up, but I guess they never quite do... I think the best part of that session is when Spike opens the fridge and caches a brief glimpse of the small colony that has formed inside...the look on his face is priceless.

There are no gates surrounding Solace Prison, they are not needed. Those that try to escape are soon devoured by the unforgiving sands of the desert. The Prison resembles a tomb, its macabre form juts out from the desert sand, marking all of the suffering that occurs here. Underneath the prisons shadow, two men stand arguing. It seems that violence will be the inevitable solution, as it aways seems to be in this harsh land. John Corneal: I know that you have been the one stealing our water Corran, I want it back! Corran: Sorry John Boy, but I need this water to make my get away from this god-forsaken place, why don't you go back to betting on the Slaran Sand Rat Races and forget that you ever saw me. John Corneal: Hahaha, Corran, you sure are a funny guy. You know I don't have enough water to bet since you stole my reserves. But that is okay, soon I will have all of my water back plus all of the other water that you have...yes, soon I will be a rich man indeed! John Corneal pucks out his beam sabre and points it at Corran. He presses the button to activate the beam. The beam immediatly fizzles out. John Corneal looks at Corran who is tossing the beam sabres power cell up and down in his hand. Corran: Wow! your power cell seems to fit right into my laser claw...John Boy, this just isn't your day... Corran slashes at John Corneal, opening him from shoulder to naval. A sickening stench of burning flesh and entrails fill the nearby air...
Originally posted by PrettygurlRei On the episode when they were supposed to reveil Ed's name, I must of missed it because I didn't see it! Why is your quiz so hard. I like this show but it sucks because it's on so late on saturday night. If no one knows its on cartoon netwrok (the suckiest place ever) P.s Why does pluto change your voice high and squeaky?
I think yo mean Venus...hence the title of the episode being "Waltz for Venus"...I would guess it is because there is a lot of helium in he atmosphere. Cowboy Bebop is on so late because it is considered unappropriate for some audiences due to violence and sexually suggestive situations.

Geez, this is competely insane, well ere is mine What They Don't Want You to Know In order to understand why smoking is good for your health you need to realize that everything is controlled by a the mass media made up of the black lung society with help from citizens against carcinogins killing smokers (or CRACK smokers for short). The conspiracy first started during Franko-Prussian War in God's Green Goodness. They have been responsible for many events throughout history, including the dawning of the Apoacalypse. Today, members of the conspiracy are everywhere. They can be identified by biting your toenails. They want to give a swift, violent headbutt to the groin to the Heros Enlightened by Regional Orca's Industrializing Nuclear Addict (or the society of Heroin Addicts for short) and imprison resisters in Utah using unicycles. In order to prepare for this, we all must emit noxious gas from our bodies. Since the media is controlled by those damn democrats we should get our information from those damn republicans

Hmmm...well I think that you guys have finally hit on the point that I wanted to reach...the supreme court is saying that minors in the US no longer have the final liberties 1. The Right to Due Process 2. The Right against Unreasonable Searches ans Seizures 3. The Right to Privacy Why I have mixe feelings about this issue, I think it is slightly inaccurate that the supreme court catagorizes public schools in a different way then civilian life. Until this ruling they have followed strict constitutional guidelines in dealing with student's rights. They have more or less seperated the church and public schools. They have given school boards the power of decision, thereby forming a local democracy, they have also made it illegal to search a students belongings unless they have reasonable cause. Many of you say that you don't mind getting tested because you have nothing to hide, but if they got you out of class, searched your car (which is now also allowed, if it is on school property), gave you a drug test, and searche your person all because another student claimed you were using drugs, wouldn't you fell the least bit violated?

But are they not assuming that you have commited a crime before you have commited one. It is a small basic infringement on your rigs that can lead to larger ones. What happens if you were to go to a party and you walked past a person smoking a joint. While walking by you accidentally inhale smoke. The next day your coach passes around a cup and asks you to take a drug test. You fail, and you are kicked off of the team and suspended from school. I understand that drugs are a problem among teens, but this is not the way to solve the problem. There is an old saying that states "better to let a hundred guilty men go free then strip the freedom from one innocent man", I believe that was Benjamen Franklin.
-
Well if you live in the United States, and you are a minor, your rights have now been diminished. Please read the following: AP- The Supreme Court approved random drug tests for many public high school students Thursday, ruling that schools' interest in ridding their campuses of drugs outweighs an individual's right to privacy. The 5-4 decision would allow the broadest drug testing the court has yet permitted for young people whom authorities have no particular reason to suspect of wrongdoing. It applies to students who join competitive after-school activities or teams, a category that includes many if not most middle-school and high-school students. Also, here is a link to the full article. Please read it and voice your opinion. http://dailynews.yahoo.com/fc/health/substance_use_and_abuse

I have periods when I spend my moneyon nothing but clothes and bills. Since I have worked in clothing stores for so long, I have more clothes then I know what to do with. I am incredibly picky, but I do tend to buy clothes that are a little "eccentric", for example, my super cool, blue tye-dyed linen shirt....it is awesome.

Rock on Deb!!! I am so happy for you (not happy enough to get you a present because I am super poor right now;)). As always you have my fondest wishes, congrats, good luck, and remeber that good marriages thrive on rock 'n roll.

Unfortunately there is not a lot of news or updates that can be posted about Cowboy Bebop. Since the series is over the only news is the pending release of "Knockin on Heaven's Door" in the US (which may be called Cowboy Bebop: The Movie, seeing how this is how the subbed movie was/will be titled when it was/is premiered in the US...I am not sure if the movie has played yet, I know they were showing it sometime early this summer). The only othe news is the rumors that are spreading about the possibility of two new movies.
They don't want to live under Israel.
They shouldn't have to live under Isreal, but they should try to live together and create a government that works for both of them. Why this may be next to impossible, I don't think the conflict will ever cease unless they can "integrate" with each other. Why this seems like a naive view, the problems that have developed between Pakistan and India (which are not that different) should serve as an example to Israel and Palestine as to why seperaton is not always good.

Well, Solid's quiz is quite difficult. I'll give anyone a cookie that can awnser them correctly without help or reviewing the series.
Originally posted by Amphion What do you guys think about creating a Palestinian state? Do you think that would stop this nonsense?
I think that creating a Palestinian state is an easy way out, and would only cause slight, temporary relife. I think that by creating two seperate countries, Palestine and Israel will end up having the same troubles that India and Pakistan has. I feel that the only true way to resolve this conflict is for both group to force themselves to live amngst one another.
Originally posted by Amphion Your the narrow minded one my freind. You insult me over an opinion I stated. I did not see this Video you speak of. But innocent people die in WAR. You a fool if you think otherwise. But there is a difference between the normal civilian deaths in a WAR and massacres. I was simply stating that your trying to say Israel is massecreing people when you have no proof. One boy getting shot in the head, and it was probably unintentional, is not massecreing people. Therefore, you dont have proof so you are wrong. You dont know everything. Just cause you watch all the news channels still doesnt mean you know everything. You dont know everything unless you experience everything. All the news that you see is going to favor one side. So some of the stuff you see your not goin to know the full story on. So shut up. Your just making your self look dumb. I dont like you so please do not talk to me again. Its like no one cares what is happening to the Israeli's. They only care about the Palestinians rights. Thats fine, but your putting everything off the Israeli's are going though. I never said that WAR is great. But it is true that sometimes WAR is the only answer. And just becaus ethe Palestinians wont organize any kind of army to fight Israel, doesnt justify in killing innocent people day after day. What did this all start over anyway? Their would be no raids if they would stop blowing up. Israel is not thier land anyway. Like I said in another post. Anybody who knows there history, klnows that the Jews where run out of Israel by the Romans. Afterwards the Palestinians moved in. So the Palestinians have no right to claim it as rightfully theirs.
Hmmm...I have to disagree with your post. Why innocent people do die in war, a soldier should fight other soldiers, not civilians. I feel that is the main reason that this war continues, and why no compromises have been reached is because of the attacks from both sides on civilians. My first example is of an Israeli soldier shooting a thirteen year old girl three times in the stomach, killing her, because she threw a stone at him. Why her attack was unprovoked (by the soldier) the soldier could have chosen a thousand more actions that would have ben infinitly more appropriate (as well as compasionate and humane). The officer was discharged from the army, but was not imprisioned or otherwise punished. My second example is of a young Palestinian man that drove a car into a gasoline pump. He killed six people, including a pregnant woman. None of the people that were injured or killed served in the Israeli armed forces. Another falicy that you have is assuming that the Isreali people have the right to control the government the way they see fit. I'll give you an example of what this would equate to in America. The Cherokee Indians were known inhabitants of the Southern East Coast. Before the colonization of North America, there were Cherokees that inhabit what is now Washington DC. What if the United Nations gave Washington DC to the remaining Cherokee Indians. They would have the ability to run the city a they see fit (I am refering to Washington like it would be any other large city, not as the capital of the US), even though they do not represent the majority, they would have the power to govern the general populace. Would that be fair to the existing Washintonians? No. They had no part in causing the suffering of the Cherokees. But why shouldn't the Cherokees get that land back. They were unwillingly forced off of it. Why this might not be the best analogy, I think it gets the point across. Both sides have a justifiable reason to be there, however, that doesn't mean that they have earned the right to be there. Both the Palestinians and the Israelis have to come together and compromise as a whole before things will ever get better.

I am a huge fan of Cowboy Bebop, mainly because the music is so exceptional. "Rush" is one of my favorite songs, period, and Tank! , well Tank! has the opening of nearly any song ever. 3, 2, 1, Lets Jam!

What the astronauts of Apollo 11 REALLY found on the moon....
Heaven's Cloud replied to Fall's topic in General Discussion
I can understand the skepticism about the moonlanding, I can even understand the reasoning behid the US wanting to "fake" a moonlanding. But I would think that our knowledge of outerspace has grown enough that any "false moonlanding" woud have been uncovered long ago by rival space programs. -
Name: Nathan Masters, aka X-Man Age: 17 Height: 6' Bio: Nathan Masters is the child of Alex Masters (aka: Havok) and Madeline Pryor (Pheonix). he was genetically produced by the evil mastermind Mr. Sinister. Nathan is the most gifted mutant ever born (or created for that matter). He has the highest level of both telepathic and telekinetic abilities. His powers are so rampant, however, that they are quickly killing him. Nathan has mid-length brown hair and a well musceled physique. He is very much the troubled teen and is sometimes prone to make irrational and stupid decisions based on his powers. His uniform is the same as the original X-Man's: Ablack leather coat and pants, boots, and a dark blue t-shirt.
Originally posted by Delian It is a cycle that will continue. It doesn't seem like any of the governments want peace. Palestian leaders do share some of the blame, as do all Governments, but I definately do not condone the inhumane killing of innocent men, women and children. This is exactly what is happening and no outside country seems to be interested in stopping.
It isn't that other countries are not interested in stopping the conflict, I believe that most countries would willingly step in if they thought it would do any good. Everytime peace talks between the two countries seem to progress, a fanatic from either side tends to ruin negotiations. It seems that too many Israeli and Palestinian people have no desire to compromise. I think that most countries have no clue how to resolve this situation or they would have already taken the neccassary steps to do so.

Writing Today's Poem [M -- As a Precaution]
Heaven's Cloud replied to Heaven's Cloud's topic in Creative Works
I close my eyes the lamps glow sting my retinas. On the table my alarm is blaring, its sensless babble reminds me of a girl I met in a fairytale dream. I arise. Streching my limbs I switch off the lamp. I open my eyes. Twilight's shadows dance across the room, creating a black nebula infinite in mass. I splash water on my face. The water beads on my skin, tiny diamonds reflecting a spectrum of color. I fall backwards, and awake into my fairytale dream, leaving reality in a distant echo. -
I went back and took the test as if was 15 and got an 84. It shows that the difference between 15 and 18 is huge. A person gains a lot of maturity during that time and also makes a fair amount of mistakes, which I think is why it seems to be us older guys that are scoring so low...

I've stuck with Tidus, Wakka, Letty, Jassu, Botta and Keepa. I have won every game since the first tournament, relying almost entirely on Tidus...Botta is my weakness. I think I might get a Ronso to replace him...
