Well, as of right now.. I am running on cable.. T3 is pretty sweet. My dad has it in his building. It's expensive as hell..but it's worth it. My cousin who works in San Jose (something Valley) has seen the fastest internet connection ever made and more neat things. The connection he and many other buildings i.e. Microsoft and such, use the element we know as mercury. Once you place data on one side, you'll instantly recieve that data on the other side. It's even faster than the speed of light. I found that very very impressive. But, this type of internet is worth billions.. Off note: The technology in San Jose/Santa Clara is approx. 40 years ahead of the technology today. So yeah, 1960's, they had Digital TV, Flat screens...and the internet. There's a ton of info I got from my cousin... I get to test out technology this summer, that you won't even see until 2040's... - MG

Walter Payton - probably THE best running back in the NFL history. His determination was extremely high... he set a good example that, if you just try, you'll succeed. (Watch his games every Friday) I also think that Mr.Hanky was a good hero.. I mean, he's a talking and walking ****... you CAN NOT beat that.. Mr.Hanky rules all.. :D (this was ages ago) - MG
Originally posted by BabyGirl Actually, I was joking as well :p Heh, the funny thing that most guys don't know: Girls think like males in the sense that [most all of them] want to get some as well! We just don't reveal this too often for fear of being called a slut. Ahem. Now you know.
Hah, that's so true. Many gals want to get some.. but like BG said, they don't want to be known as a slut. Same goes for guys. You all don't want be a man whore now...do you? You ONLY "get some" if both partners are ready... or if you're drunk off your ***.. :alcohol: :flasher: My advice to you... rather than emailing, try to give her a call. Emailing is kind of..shaddy... show that you're intrested in her..and that you want to move your relationship to the next "level"....... maybe you'll go out..or become very close friends. Both are a plus in my book, and should be in yours. If your parents do hold you back from seeing your friend, then yeah, you should be pissed. But just talk it over with your parents...I am sure they'll understand... but yeah.. - Don't become a man whore.. bad bad bad.. Off note: - 4 stages of "pimpness" 1: Normal 2: Pimp 3: Man Whore ( it's quite hard to jump from pimp, to master pimp!) 4: Master Pimp - this stage, you haven't gotten any throughout highschool... (saving for college) Follow this stage manual, and you'll be set. Haha... it's all for shits and giggles.. :) - MG

The first time I heard it, I laughed histerically... the only reason was because that man who did the "car" noises, was making fun of Hondas and how people rice them out.. you should see the real web page of the man who did the noise... a GTI vs Civic Si.. it was beautiful. If you listen to the lil' clip... you'll hear the vtec kick in... ahh... but yeah, it's not funny anymore. - MG

Well, here's a picture of me last winter. I look kind of goofy just sitting down all by myself. I'll post my senior pics on here soon.. Hope you all enjoy it *crosses fingers* - I look kind of high...hmm... can't remember that day.. - MG

Hmm, this is tough. I would give myself a range from 7-9. I used to be skinny as hell, but since I started weight lifting again, I got BIG. There's a picture of me (when I was scranny) , but it's too big.. I am going to re-size it, for you all to see my sexy face.. *rarrrr* :) I know, I know... you all don't have to jump in joy to see me finally! Just playing with you folks. - MG
Originally posted by Justin Congrats, Renee! Damn, I'll be at a year on January 18. This topic sure does bring back a lot of memories. And have we all forgotten IM_GENGAR? I remember your introduction topic also, Shyguy. Wasn't it something like "Does anyone, besides the admins, know what an otaku is?" But anyway, congratulations again, Renee... -Justin
Congrats Renee.. Kamakazi, I joined a day before you did. January 17.. to be more exact. Hah, ahhh... hell, it's been a long time since I've been here, and so many things have changed. Ah well, shows how you can't really leave this place (even though I tried soo hard!) Time to go into my little place again..ta ta - MG
Originally posted by James I agree with BabyGirl here. While I can to some extent understand this person's train of thought...I don't think it's justified. I mean, when Timothy McVeigh destroyed the Federal Building, I didn't suddenly "notice" all the white Christians around me. They didn't stick out anymore than usual. .
Hell, finally, someone actually said something about Timothy McVeigh! The news is corrupting your minds and all. The news plays a dramatic part in our train of thought.. they never mentioned once about Timothy McVeigh's attack against the Federal Building. I am sure that many "other" people besides white Christians died in that horrific attack. But I guess ignorance blocks out the fact that no one else besides white Americans died on the Oklahoma bombings and on Sept 11. You have a right to be scared, but not towards every single Arab American or anyone of a middle eastern descent. Look at it from this way, this topic is related on " someone being scared of a Muslim". I know many WHITE American Muslims, and if you didn't know he was a Muslim, would you treat him differently? I would probably think not. Now, if it were a American born person who had roots leading to the middle eastern region, would you treat him differently on his color? I would think so, because he looks "different" and because he/she is from a middle eastern descent. To add on, if you knew he/she was a Muslim, I bet you would be scared. Plain ignorance plays a key factor in this issue. If you can see through a person, then good for you. But if you can only see the color of the human being and his characteristics, then shame on you. You must've been brought up in a one sided track family. What we need to do as a whole, is teach that not everyone is whom you believe to see, is not like everyone else. We all need to know that a numbered of Muslims actually believe that the attacks on 9/11 were the right thing to do. But for the most part, Muslims too have been affected and have much sorrow as you do, for those who died. I am sure there were a few Muslims people working there, not just Christians,Jews,Hindus,Buddhist, and ect. Like Seph, I am too extremely pissed after reading this letter. Ignorant and racist mixed into one can bring up some harmful actions toward "their enemy". The reporters are ignorant as hell too. Each and every one of them are completly dumb. I hope you all use your thought process and actually see what I am trying to express, like so many of you did in this topic! ( Sorry if this "bringing up old topics, but I didn't have a chance to post, so I did now :)) - MG

Gaming GTA3 - Mission: Bomb da base (need some help)
MysticGohan replied to MysticGohan's topic in Noosphere
Ah, finally, someone to help me out. Hell, thanks for replying. I really don't have a life today, so I stayed on otaku waiting for a reply for my thread. So, thanks for cutting my time on otaku shorter!! If it works, I'll come back and say thank you... hell, I'll say thank you right now.. thanks!:alcohol: - MG -
Well, I need some help on this mission. I have been going at this for hours and hours now. I can't seem to find a good place to hide out and kill all the guards. I took my car up the ramp, but that didn't work out either. I can kill most of the guards, but just one or two are left. Can someone help me out on where I should hide out and all? I need some desperate help and all! That would be much appreciated! Thanks :) - MG

This is hilarious.... well, first off.. I am a PREP and if I were to date a "goth" gal, I wouldn't think anything different. Hell, I don't know why people call people who dress differently "goth".. It's stupid! Well, I don't know what's so wrong if a "goth" person were to date a "prep"? In the end, we all are HUMAN. I think I am going to get stupid over reading this damn thread! Please do tell me, what's wrong with prep and goth people going out? Just because they dress differently, it doesn't mean that they are totally different! They may have the same qualities and may have the same hobbies and such forth. You must not have many friends that are different. Try to get out more and try to be friends with a prep. I am sure you would change completely.. everyone from the outside looks different, but in the inside, you may find out you're the same. - MG

Thanks alot man! That site helped out alot! - I am still kind of confused on which console to get. Xbox seems to be the best in graphics and GC just looks appealing. But I still like PS2 and it's "wall" of games. Like everyone says, it just comes down to your opinion on which console is the best. I guess I need a little mroe time to think about which console I really want and how much money I am willing to spend. Well, thanks again! - MG
-
Well, can someone "hook it up" with some specs on the three major consoles.. My damn DC broke and am heart broken without a console to play!!! I am looking forward to buying PS2, but am not too sure as of yet. I looked into all three consoles, but haven't got specs on any of them. ( Graphic wise ) - Can someone just give me a site where I can find them, or even better, just tell me the specs on the boards? That would be very much appreciated! Thank You - MG

Well, my favorite novel , that told the best message was " My name is Davy, I'm an alcoholic". I swear, this book had the biggest impact on my life about drinking. I suggest all you "young bloods" to read this book!! You'll get a whole new perspective about drinking! - Don't drink .... nor should you drink and drive! - MG

Hold up, I haven't been here for a while, so I am kind of lost. Lady Macaiodh, how did you end up in a shelter? I thought you lived in the Bronx with your husband??? Ahh, I am totally lost and confused at this point. But nonetheless, I wish you the best in your future. I do hope, with all my heart, that you will get your old life back. I don't know what happened to you, but I wish you the best. ( still a little confused ) - MG

Well, I am a guy and hope everyone knows that by now. I cry sometimes. Not on pain, more of the emotional feelings I go through in my life. I don't care how strong, big, or buff you are, everyone cries in their life and if they say the don't, then they're just making that crap up. Pain - well, the last time I actually cried about pain was when I hyper extended my knee like two years ago. That hurt extremely bad! I am more a emotional and sensative person to "things" that happen in my unusual life. But oh well, it's my birthday and I'll cry if I want to, cry if I want to..... ahh... :o  - No really, it's my birthday! - MG

Yeah, I think it was Ultimate Saiyan... haha.... Things have changed...people have left... and the most important thing... new people keep on coming here keeping otaku "alive". But oh well, like I said it before, I still love otaku and its wonderful members. ( Even though can be a pain in the *** :) ) - MG

Oh, were those the days... Whatever happen to Frank?? He was truly a funny character.... He had an obsession with mullets and the Mary Kate and Ashley... I bet he still does... Well, I do agree with you Colin. Otaku has grown into something, I wouldn't ever imagine. I still love the old school Otaku, everything was small and peaceful. :) This place used to be a place for me, but not anymore. Yeah, I do still like it.. but not like the old Otaku. I must say, I am growing out of this place.. But oh well, I still love you all! Your fellow member - MG
