Jubei said as the two women sat down at the bar again. "Shut up, Ju-Ju bean." Midora spat playfully. Jubei's eyes grew large. "Excuse me?" he asked. Midora just grinned. "Alright you two," Faye said, cutting in, "break it up. We have money to make. Midora look to your left; there he is. I've already sent you in the info on him; let's go." Midora nodded, getting up. Jubei stood up too, but Faye signaled him back down. "Stay," she said, "we'll need you for later; be sure of it."[/color][/size]

Your girlfriend and I have patched things up, by the way, Hunter. ------------------------------------- Mara quietly started to mumble to herself as the Hell Hawk bore down viciously on the group. She thrust her hands up to the sky, a light green mist surrounding her. Her eyes closed, she sent the mist to quietly seep energy from the Hell Hawk, who was attacking Lacroix and Elsyan. As her attack reached over to the monster, it faltered; knowing that someone had performed Wistqueria. Mara opened her eyes, her dull jade eyes now a brillant emerald, and sent the seeping mist into Seronol's body. "That should at least keep him alive for right now." she whispered, reassuring herself. Mara pulled out her wisten and ran towards the Hell Hawk, mukmbling and fanning her sheath of blades out. SHe mumbled something again, and fluttered it in the wind; in the direction of the beast. Flames shot from the blades and pierced the Hell Hawk's skin as it's scream echoed through the forest. Mara quickly moved in and slashed repeatedly at the large burn area, underneath it's leg. It buckled to the ground on one knee. She put her hands together and started to chant out loud. She closed her eyes again and braced herself; a new technique seeping into her very blood. A shade of emerald fire surrounded her body, and the space around her grew quiet. Time was hers now, and she knew it. She quickly molded her attack two times over, devasting the creature. It tried to put up resistance, but it's leg buckled and was aputated. The fire was gone abruptly, and Mara collapsed, exausted. She turned to Eve and smiled. "You're guys show now." [color=red][size=1] I didn't think the movie was that bad; oh god, it's someone different! (Apart from a few *cough* ASUKA!*cough* J/K!) I liked the books [b]alot[/b] better, but what can I say? The books are [b]always[/b] better than the movies. Although the thing with Harry Potter having blue eyes made me really mad. I was fascinated with someone who had black hair and green eyes and when they cast Daniel Radcliff, who has blue eyes, I was upset. I've seen the trailers for the Chamber of Secrets and I'm not really excited. I'm going to see Ginny, whose my favorite character and if you have a problem with it, get over it! "So who you after?" he asked, sitting down with her at the bar. "Guy named Wally Montag; pretty corney name." she replied, getting a drink. Jubei smiled. "Tell me about it." he added, ordering himself one as well. "Well, Midora should be here any minute. I'll have to watch her; she thinks I'm letting her take charge in this case." Faye said. "Why wouldn't you?" Jusbei asked curiously. Faye shrugged. "Midora's cool and all," Faye started, taking a sip of her drink, "but she's a bit headstrong and has an ego that I could eat like a pizza." "So, she's not very good at this line of...hmmm, work?" Faye shook her head. "Don't get me wrong, she's good at this, but she gets a little too wrapped up in running circles around the victim, that she dizzes herself and trips up." Faye replied, finishing her drink at the same time as Jubei. "So that's why you're here." he stated. Faye shook her head. "No, I'm here because I'm her partner; I'm her partner because of [i]that[/i] reason." she said. Jubei laughed. "Shouldn't she be here by now?" he asked. Sure enough, Midora came quietly through the door, smiling at the two.[/color][/size]
