Despite the heavy winter storm here in Ohio, I managed to pick up the game yesterday. It’s pretty fun so far! As of right now, I’ve unlocked Marth, Captain Falcon, and Luigi. The Subspace Emissary is pretty neat. The cut scenes are entertaining and I’m curious to see how it all unfolds. Plus, it kind of motivates me to try out different characters instead of just sticking to one. I also tried out playing against a couple of random people online in a Brawl match once and got my butt handed to me. Yep, I pretty much suck at this game, but it’s always a joy to play against others just to see how good they really are. I’ll be sure to keep my eye on this thread and the other League thread to add some friend codes. Edit: Oh and here’s my friend code 0387-8469-8440. (Updating my FC list)

Legit or not, that was a pretty awesome intro. The only characters I noticed that haven't been officially confirmed yet are [spoiler]Marth[/spoiler] and [spoiler]Ness[/spoiler]. Did I miss any others?

I get that terrible feeling whenever I have to get ready for a class presentation. I?ve never been able to speak comfortably in front a class. I stutter whenever I speak, and my body trembles all over the place. It?s horrible. And picturing everybody naked only makes it worse for me.

Happy New Year! I?ve never really committed to any of my resolutions before, but this time around, I hope I do. Basically I hope to do better in college and actually read the textbooks throughly until I understand the material. And getting out of the house and socializing more would be good too. I have a whole lot more, but I think it would better off for me to do things one by one at a slow steady pace. Well, here?s to a better year! :)

It’s like Pokemon in the sense that the player has to weaken the enemy down first and if the player is fortunate enough to have a trophy stand near by, the player can throw it at the enemy like a pokeball to catch it. I actually think it’s pretty neat and it should be a lot of fun. And I totally dig the new Coin Launcher mode, much more interesting than Melee’s slot machine. With these past few updates, I think getting trophies will be a lot more rewarding this time around.

All I got this year was a light green Abercrombie & Fitch hoodie and an interesting drawing book called [I]The Natural Way to Draw[/I]. So it was an okay year for me. Still, I wish my family would have gotten me a Nintendo DS and some awesome games or something, but oh wells. Well I guess it?s not that bad, since I rather spend most of my winter break focusing on improving my drawing skills than playing videogames. And Happy Holidays everyone! :animesmil

:( [spoiler]R.I.P. Jiraiya[/spoiler] His happy-go-lucky attitude will be sorely missed. As for the other upcoming fights, I'm hoping to see more action from the mysterious Shino. It's been quite a while since we've seen anything from the awesome bug guy.

Yeesh, you guys are fast! I just got up to 88 stars yesterday. However, now that school finals are over, I should be able to pick up the pace and get all 121 stars soon. Plus, I need to play as the legendary and often overlooked brother, [spoiler]Luigi[/spoiler]. Aside from the very first purple coin challenge, I haven’t really been expose to these levels yet. Not sure if I’m looking forward too them either, since it seems like a lot of people are tearing their hair out just to complete these levels. If I thought some of the earlier levels were tough, I can’t imagine how much more challenging these purple coin levels will be. At any rate, I like the fact that some of these comet challenges and later levels are challenging me to think and respond quickly while being careful all at the same time. That sense of rushing through a level and being as precise as I can be with the controls is quite exhilarating. As for a favorite level, I can’t seem to pick one as there have been so much diversity throughout the entire game. I really like Gusty Garden Galaxy simply for the awesome orchestrated music that plays as you float around through the level with those beautiful pink flowers. The sky-like atmosphere in that level is amazing. I also enjoyed most the levels where you get to use the Ice power-up. I’m not exactly sure what it is, but there is something so incredibly fun about skating throughout an ice/water level. Simply put, there is way too many awesome levels and variety in the game to list them all.

Like what most of the others have said, I like the diversity and all the different views people have here. Also, this is probably one of the only forums that have been around for a long time that continues to get better as time goes by. And seeing how I have less time these days to play videogames, it?s always fun and informative to browse the Arcade section of the board to see what members here think of a particular game. Sometimes I learn something new about a game that I would have never even bother checking out.

I don?t know about anyone else, but after reading Ch. 379, my interest in this fight have increased dramatically. I?m kind of impressed with Pein?s god-like abilities to revive all of his bodies. He seems much more like a threat now, and I wonder how would anyone be able to take this man down. And holy cow at Jiraiya losing his arm. I?m not exactly sure how Pein did it, but I wasn?t expecting anything as cruel as that to happen to the J-Man.

Well, I can’t really say much for the camera issue people seem to be having since I’ve only had a few odd occurrences where the angle of the camera was a bit off. But most of the time I think the camera does a pretty a good job of adjusting to the way the player moves. I don’t know, all the positive things this game has going for it is just too awesome for me to even care about the camera. Anyway, I haven’t gotten to far since the last time I posted. I’m up to 38 stars as of right now, and man things just keep better and better. I was expecting the game to be more on the easy side, but boy was I wrong. I can’t even count the number of times I died in the game due to my own clumsiness. Those single star galaxies in particular are normally the ones that I have a bit of a trouble with. Despite the challenge, I find it so much fun to just keep going back and retrying the levels until I get those stars. That satisfaction I get every time I get a single star is unbelievable, I always feel like I’ve accomplished something so big. At the rate I’m going, it’ll probably be a while until I could get all 120 stars. However, I plan to get all of the stars before I beat the game. The first Bowser fight was pretty epic, and the music that played while fighting him was very cool. And I hope that the last Bowser fight will be just as awesome or even better.

Sweetness! I also managed to get the game yesterday along with a free $25 gift card at my local Toy R? Us store. I?ve only been able to play the game for about an hour and 45 minutes. So that?s around 7 stars for me. But yeah, I?m in love with this game already. Like Desbreko, I find myself tilting my head a lot as I maneuver around the galaxies. It?s very odd, because I don?t think I?ve ever experience this with any other games before. Everything else though has been very refreshing. The vibrant levels, the creative platforming, and the music are all amazing. And if I didn?t had so much school work to catch up on, I would be glued to the TV playing this game all day long. It's super addictive!

Have you guys seen some of the new trailers where they revealed some of the new power-ups? Here’s a link to a website that combined all of the short trailers into one trailer. All I have to say is, yay for the return of the fire and star power-ups.

I didn?t really pay attention to the movie since it was pretty boring to me, but this fighting scene in particular was just freaking awesome. Two skilled fighters going at it at an unbelievable speed. Wicked cool.

Oooh I like the way you drew the chakrams on both of your drawings of the battledancer. The way you foreshortened the chakrams from the front to the back gives the drawing a nice sense of depth. Really cool. One thing I might do is probably use a darker tone of green on the grasses in the front and then use a lighter tone of green as it goes back to the background just to prevent the overall drawing from looking flat. I don't know if that would actually work, but I think it should. And I definitely like your second drawing of the battledancer more than I did the first one. To me, there’s a lot more movement and mass in the way you drew the clothing compared to the first drawing. Also, the pose he’s in is more exciting and it looks more natural. I also like the way you tried to make the leaves dance with the character, or at least that’s the way it looks to me. I can’t really say much about your coloring in any of the drawings since I know nothing about coloring in Photoshop, but it looks good to me and I like how colorful the drawings are.

I don?t know if I would call it one of the greatest, but Skies of Arcadia for the Dreamcast/Gamecube is one of the few rpgs that I was able to play through all the way. What really sucked me into the game was that huge sense of exploration and the freedom to travel to wherever I wanted to. Also, being able to recruit different ship crew members with their own special abilities was pretty fun. A lot of people hated the slow random battles but it never really bothered me all that much. The ship battles, the atmosphere, and the whole pirate theme was truly a unique experience that made the game stood out for me.

Ch. 370 is now available over at NarutoFan. A little bit later than usual, but it’s there. I stil don’t think Jiraiya will die. He might get severly injured, but surely he must have something up his sleeves to be willing to confront Pein. And I hope this new mysterious jutsu will deliver and won’t be some kind of upgraded Rasengan.
