Bio: ...I'll do this later, okay? Uniform color: Scarlett Persona: Reserved, intelligent. She'd rather listen than speak, and prefers not to tell of her past or feelings...can you say classic strong but silent, with a brain?
2. *runs up and hug Mnemolth* You spelt my name right! Oh...I love you!...or not...heh, whatever. Third time I got Ravenstorture.
3. *cracks up laughing hysterically, then starts to sob* I got myself! ...and...you spelt my name wrong. However, I'm on there! I feel proud! Second time I got Cera. Fun for all!...or something :D
4. Little pieces place My soul back onto its shelf As I die inside
5. Raellyra could hear Valentyne, and the word 'cook'. She dropped her gun, and skidded out into the main room, an excited expression on her face. "Food?" Valentyne shook her head. "Not yet. Soon." "Okay." Rae plopped down onto one of the bench stools, watching Valentyne interestedly. "Can you teach me how to cook?" "Sure. Can we wait until afterwards?" "Okay..." Rae agreed in a disappointed voice.
6. Rae woke the next day to a warm body and giggling outside of the room. She knew that giggling. Siren. Eyes slitting, Rae rolled off the bed, trying not to wake Seth. "What?" Siren snorted. "You two must have had fun." "Oh, funny, Siren. Nothing happened. We slept." Siren wriggled her eyebrows suggestively. "Ohhh..." Rae growled in fury. "You're impossible." Grabbing her gun from the table, Rae stomped down to the firing range to relieve her anger, before she ate.
7. OOC:You guys have posted twice in the time I've been away? Shame on you...anyone seen Raiha, Tursi, SS Trunks...well, everyone but Liam, me and Boba Fett?Where are you guys??? IC: Rae looked around at the group tramping around. She was carrying all sorts of wonderful magic computor technology. Leads and laptops, codes and cords. Everyone was quiet, silent, yet still managing to convey the fun that was almost always present. After five kilometres, the team gathered around. "Right," Rae said, sounding so business like that the others broke into grins. "I think we should sort out the groups now, or I'm going to end up going with the wrong side. I know Liam is in the second group, and I'm in the third. I know Siren is in the second team. So where are you guys?" She looked at Jaudiar and Niomi in turn. However, before they could speak, a startled cry was heard, then a mumbled curse. Rae whipped round with the others, relaxing, even laughing when they found Liam on the ground. He'd managed to fall over without moving.
8.
Originally posted by BreakI'm gonna find a way to speed it's dancing up.
Oh, please don't. I'm already having enough trouble keeping up with the dancing as it is...
9. Bah, I'll give it a shot. Their innocent lives, Hopes dashed, all ruined, lost for good All because of war. Meh, not exactly great, I know. But easier enough...I think ^.^
10. Oh, sorry. I've had a look and the thread about the Sniper was closed, because the thread was going around in circles.
11. Isn't there already a thread about the Serial Sniper? I'm sure there is. Have a look and you'll find it.... As ofr Halloween, we don't have it here, so, I honestly can't say anything, becuase I have no opinion of it. However, as Iggy said, better safe than sorry. (Ugh, I used a cliche. I feel so dirty)
12. OOC:well, Liam, here you go. You should be proud. I've snuckonto a computor, broken into their internet, all to feed my obsession with this place...did I mention the keyboard doesn't type too well? That'll be why there are typos. Apologising in advance... ________ Rae sat back and closed her eyes. The plane had finally taken off a few minutes ago, Liam , for some reason, looking absolutely livid. Something was wrong. Again. She groaned uphappily. Her headache was coming back. Again. Deciding that she'd read the book she'd been trying to finish for the past month, Rae pulled out a copy of "The Dance Between Evil", and opened to her page, getting lost in the book. She had twenty more pages to go. That was all. Almost twenty minutes later, Rae snorted in disgust and dropped the book. "That," she groaned, "was predictible!" "What was?" asked Liam, who'd calmed down. "The ending. Good defeated bad. Again. Why does that always happen in stories? I mean, lets face it. Predictibilityis the one thing you can rely on. I would have structured it so that it twists more, like giving it to the third party...the evil guys. Ugh...its sort of hard to explain. Never mind. I'm just ranting." His lip quirked. "I hadn't noticed." ________ OOC: Ugh, this key board is driving me crazy! No more! (For a while, at least)
13. ...we don't have snow where I come from, and we're just going into Summmer...guess where I live.
14. Oh, yeah, and if the avitars and banners move (or the smilies, for that matter) I'll copy them. Break's avitar drives me crazy, because at the end there's this off rhythm arm movement... now you all know
15. Raellyra closed her eyes and leaned against the wall as the ship swayed and bucked. Someone on the opposite side of the room groaned. Sea sickness was running rampant among the passangers. It was a particularly rough ride, apparently. Sitting up stright, she pulled out her Claidhmore. It was an old scottish weapon, a two handed sword, and was designed to crush through all opponents in their time, armoured or not. However, there was a difference between her weapon and that of the 15th Century ones. Hers was a minature. Most Claidhmores were six feet or greater. Hers was only three feet, give or take. Setting it down, she pulled out a chamois and started cleaning the Claidhmore, smiling slightly. She loved this weapon. She finished a few minutes later, stowed the sword away, and once again leaned against the side of the ship.
16. There was silence for a while, then Rae asked "Geez, what's up his butt?" Siren snorted into her plate. "Wonderful terminology, there, Rae." "Sorry. He seems rather...forbidding? Is that better?" She reached out slowly, then stopped. Prying was bad.
17. Rae had signed up for the third group; Computor hacking. It wasn't as action packed, but she preferred it. Pulling the sock out of her mouth, she coughed. "Fine, I get the picture. Ugh," she muttered. "He needs some powder, those sock stink!" Siren glared at her. "Okay, okay. I'll shut up." As they reached the airport, Rae climbed out first, unusually silent. In fact, she hadn't talked the rest of the way, true to her word. Jaudiar glanced at her, worried. Perhaps she'd taken Siren's words harshly? Rae, knowing what Jaudiar was thinking, smiled and shook her head. She wasn't unhappy, just vaugely apprehensive. Her head spun a little bit, and she had a headache. Rubbing her eyes, she pulled out some Advil Jaudiar had given her, gulping them down. However, she still didn't feel like talking. Sitting down on the pavement, she dropped her head in her hands and closed her eyes.
18. I used to play violin. Apparently I was a 'natural'...but I'm not the best when it comes to learning...or practising, and I got to the advanced group (youngest person there, lol. I was so embarrased and out of my depth) and I still couldn't read music. So I quit. Then I played Saxaphone. The same "non-practising" routine, unfortunately... And now, I play Piano. I actually practise. However...I hate learning. I'd rather just be able to play. And it frustrates me to no end. Frustration is not good. So I'm quitting (again) at the end of the year. I'm such a big quitter...
19. Harlequin, its not so much about the fact that your plot is the same, its the imagery(sp?) that you manage to get across, and it makes your posts and plot seem different. Sure, it ties into vocabulary. And if you don't want to post in here, I suggest you do what I do for art and design and banner/avitar and try to stop reading in this forum... Deus: The holes in the envelopes. When you've posted in a thread, there'll be a black hole in the envelope. When I first came to the boards, I didn't know what they meant, because, although there are signs at the bottom, it doesn't tell you what the holes mean.
20. Well, I'll add some now...I'm not sure how long this'll be... Liamc2: He introduced us to the boards. Besides, he put up with me when I had no idea what I was doing...and when my brains turned to mush from days of mental inactivity. The Unholy Newt: He hasn't been around for a while, though I think he's back now. He really introduced me to the boards. It was Liam who introduced him to the boards. (Therefore our obsession is all Liam's fault) Juuthena: I didn't really talk to her much, although I do talk to her now. She was one of the first people I saw on the boards. Mist: I haven't seen her for a while, however, she was the very first person I talked to. She explained to me what the holes in the envelopes meant. Mnemolth: A pretty wise guy. He knows what he's talking about...or he bull****s really well. I admire both qualities. Either way, he's made it here. Cera: I haven't talked to her before, but she's got some really good writing under her belt. Unless she doesn't wear a belt, in which case, she can have it stored in a box somewhere. Sere Tuscumbia: She's insane. What can I say? I admire that. Actaully, it sort of reminds me of me... Cloricus: I don't really see him as a role model...but he's not afraid to express his opinion. Of course, sometimes that can get a little annoying... James and Adam: They made this place. They moderate it, keep it a lot better than most boards, and have made this place great. Besides which, they have some interesting opinions. Ravenstorture: She's got some great writing, too, and is a really good RPGer. The Harlequin: You can't have Raven with The Harlequin. He's a brilliant RPGer, who makes quality posts all the time. Raiha: Another brilliant RPGer. I've only just met her, but she's one of the best people I know. Stormwing: I'm in a lot of RPG's with her, and I'm glad to be. She'll liven the situation easily. DeathKnight: I've talked to him once. He told me (jokingly, I think) he killed people for Oreo's. I've never in my life tasted an Oreo, so I don't know why. However, he's another good RPGer. Lady Macaiodh: One of the best posters here. She always makes quality posts, and I know everyone hopes she gets through things all right. Final Flash: He's big brother. There's been hours (or minute, hours just sounds better) reading OBB, and he's the guy to thank for that. Baby Girl: Great Mod. She always makes the Newbies feel welcome in the Newbie threads, and stears them in the right direction. Phantom: Another person I've never spoken to, but admire greatly. He's got some really good poems. SuperSayian: He taught me leet. I can't type it, but I can read it. AnimeLover: Very good in the writing part of things, and he gives good constructive critism at the same time as he's encouraging you. Transtic Nerve: Never spoken to him, but I've sent myself to tears laughing at some of his posts, especially in the secrets thread. Aries: Really great RPGer. Really nice person. *twitch* If I do anymore, I'll feel stupid. There are so many great people in here, its really hard to distinguish.
21. Languages. Well...I know English, as do most of the people here. I'm learning German. I started when I was, like, 6. By started, I mean my Mum taught me how to say "My name is Kathryn." And it took me until 13 to progress further than that. I can now say many things, including "I live in a one family house." My brother is teaching me French (mainly to help him with it at school), and Mum is somehow getting Indonesian into my brain. Its because she keeps repeating the words as she's learning it. Other than that, I used to learn Japanese, but now only remember how to say "My name is cow". ...You guys get to learn Latin? :flaming: I've wanted to learn that for a while now, but we don't have it here. They offer French, German, and Japanese at our school. Oh well...all in good time, all in good time... *strokes a stuffed cat, grinning evilly*
22. Rae went and sat down next to Liam, a sense of Deje vu coming over her. Liam didn't acknowledge her prescence at all, just staring at the opposite wall. "It..." Rae started, then stopped. "It's been a while since you've done that.I figure that you aren't going to tell me about it, so I'm not going to ask and act all shrink like. But everyone has **** in their life, Liam. And, hey, we know what bad means. We're all stuck in the same loop, the same line of work. I'm pretty sure most of us wake up crying from memories, or dreams. I've done that." With that, she turned and walked back to Jaudiar. "So?" "So...he's Liam. He's what I used to be. Probably what I still am. Emotions are weakness, and all that. He'll be fine eventually." "Yeah." "Hey, do you know why we're atill here? Usually after a mission we go straight back to base, but we're still waiting here." Siren, who'd come up behind them, raised an eyebrow, then nodded. "That's right, Rae. You and Niomi were busy when we were briefed. Basically, we aren't finished yet. We've got several more places to go to." "Oh...like?" "I'm not sure. I can't remember." Jaudiar smiled. "Helpful." "Certainly." They all grinned. "Its good to have you back, Siren."
23. Rae walked back into the kitchen, the troops behind her. "You know," she remarked, "I could get used to groupies. Having people walk behind me all the time. I could get used to being a princess...." Her hands lifted up her hair and she twirled around, like a little girl. Siren groaned. "Rae, you do realise if you hadn't left the Mirwell, then you'd actually be that important?" "Oh." Rae's day dream shattered. "Right. I forgot that." She blushed, then left sat down to eat. As the others sat down with her, conversation flowed freely. Listening, Rae absently pulled her bottom lip down with her fork. Valentyne noticed, and raised and eyebrow. "Didn't your Mother ever tell you not to play with your cutlery?" Rae snorted. "No. I was raised by nannys. Nurses. I only saw my mother at bed time." "Then how'd you learn to shoot?" Seth asked. "Weapons master. Real nice bloke. Tried to kill me just before I ran away, but he was still nice. He also taught me other weapons, but I prefer firearms. More fun." "Freak," Siren called out. "Speaking of which," Rae stated, "Fun, that is," she clarified as the others looked amused. "Has anyone seen Celest? Or Miki? I don't know where they are." "Oh, they'll find their way back to us eventually. Don't worry. If she were in trouble, she'd find a way to tell us." "So," Valentyne asked, cutting in. "What do we want for dessert?"
24. OOC: Wow, this started? I really need to find these things out sooner...or something. _______ She was seated, as usual, at her normal table, in the middle of the room. The usual crowd was there; Prostitutes, murderers, thieves, vagabonds, and the list went on. There were probably some insane ones here too. Ostea was, she mused, an all around nice place. Except of course, for the Sarufen. And, for the humans, the childer probably weren't that nice, either. Standing up, Raellyra made her way towards the bar tender, signalling for another drink. It looked, she knew, like ale to everyone else. However, it was just water. She didn't hold her alcahol well. Changing her mind suddenly, Rae spun and walked out of the bar, running smack bang into a Sarufen soldier. She eyed him, sizing him up as an opponent. Easy. He was new here; he didn't know the run of things. And he was scared. Oh, this would have been fun. Unfortunately, she wasn't in the mood. Smiling innocently, she turned and walked away silently, surprized about her lack of enthusiasm tonight. It wasn't normal. And yet, everything was the same. Wasn't it? That was the problem, Rae knew. Because Ostea was so gaurded by the Sarufen, news was slow in getting here, especially seeing as they didn't let people into the city at night. Perhaps you could leave... a voice whispered. Raellyra whirled around. Nothing. Fellow vampire, perhaps? Shrugging, Rae continued on her way once more.
25. I know I posted here...oh well. Name: Raellyra Age:23 Weapons Katana Dagger Claidhmore Appearance: Rae has long black hair and blue eyes, and stands around 5'5. She keeps her hair in a braid down her back, and usually wears pants and a shirt. She has a maori-looking tattoo on her left shoulder, thought she tends to keep that covered. Speed:10,000 Attack:7000 Defence:7000 Jumping Ability:6000 Short Background/Bio:Despite the existance of firearms, Raellyra prefers to use the 'old' methods. Swords and daggers, specifically. She find's them more 'honourable'. She will find herself hanging around with murders and prostitutes, and most low-lifes, because, she sees them as more 'honest', than the rest of humanity. Many have told her that honour will not keep her alive. They usually ended up dead.
