He-Man

I really have to watch my word choice... I meant it "somewhat annoyed me."
2. I'd say... "I love you...? Doesn't that count for anything these days?"
3. I just heard that FUNimation plans to show the last few episodes in the spring of 2003, not the fall like some of us had feared.
4. Let's see... Tenchi Muyo! (OVA) Tenchi Universe Tenchi in Tokyo Magical Project S (Pretty Sammy, Sasami's series) Galaxy Police (still in production) Tenchi Muyo! in Love (movie 1) Tenchi Muyo! Midsummer's Eve/Daughter of Darkness (movie 2) Tenchi Forever (movie 3) Did I miss anything?
5. Yeah, don't you know that no intelligent person on Earth can read general dialogue? (btw, I was being sarcastic) Personally, I think Bebop is just one of those shows you can watch dubbed or subbed and just not care. At least I wouldn't care.

The problem is, I can't access my control panel. Every time I try it say page cannot be displayed of something like that.
The drop-down menu on the bottom of every page works.
7. Woohoo! Custom avatars! Prepare to see some more copyright laws infringed! I hated the unholy amount of posts required to get a custom avatar. Now I just need an unholy amount of posts to become a Jr. Member. :)

He-Man

Girl in charge? You must be talking about Evil-Lyn (or Evelyn). Anyway, I like how Adam looks nothing like He-Man. The only thing that frustrated me more than Superman's entire Clark Kent disguise consisting of nothing but glasses, was how the only difference between Adam and He-Man was a tan. A tan. Thankfully, this new show made Adam half He-Man's size, so they look nothing like eachother. Now all these young'ins can see some of the ol' skool cartoons I used to watch back in my day... the 80s.
9. Actually, I think ABC's Sonic gave Knuckles a brief appearance for one episode and Sonic Underground had Knuckles for like 2 or 3 episodes.
10. I guess I'd have to say omission and dismissal. As I've said before: "I only lie when necessary or convenient."
11. I heard a rumor from http://www.dbgt.com that FUNimation plans to re-dub the first 53 episodes (up to the begining of the Freeza saga) all over again, uncut in DVD form. Considering the (arguably) large amount of growth FUNimation has made over the past 6 or so years, I'd say this was a good thing. However, this is still a rumor and I'm not so sure if it's true. Can anyone confirm it?
12. I'm going to take a few wild guesses... 1) 14 2) 100,000 3) I don't know, but I bet it was an exclaimation! 4) I don't know, but I bet a Saiya-Jin was involved 5) Makes you wonder why I even attempt it, doesn't it?
13. I'm wondering if this was such a good idea. On one hand, their tape/DVD sales will increase. On the other hand, I see Cartoon Network's ratings for DBZ dropping drastically. If the folks at Toonami want to stretch this incomplete season out, they might want to start showing new episodes weekly, instead of twice a day like last time.
14. I can't wait either, especially since Cowboy Bebop is the only anime out there that 9/10 anime fans actually like in dub form.
15.
Originally posted by Def_Kun Luo Mao Hsing from Cooking Master Boy ----------> the Japanese Animated Series that Iron Chefs of America was based upon...
I thought "Iron Chefs of America" was based off of "Iron Chef."
16.
Originally posted by SS Vegeta Okey Dokey, let me give you my veiw point on both of theese shows. :) I absolutley hated the Mario one. It disgusted me and still does. Same goes for one of the Sonic shows. The one they are currently playing on Toon Disney sucks. But Sonic Underground was possibly the best American cartoon ever. ;)
I used to watch Sonic Underground everymorning before school a couple years back. I wouldn't say it was the best Sonic cartoon (I liked the one from ABC better, even though it was slow paced), but it was good. Manic was the best character from SU. As for Mario... the "Super Mario World" theme song haunts me to this day. That, and the last season of Captain N they used to play back-to-back with it. Personally, I liked the "Mario 3" cartoon better than the others.
17. True. The way they handled Yu Yu Hakusho makes them seem like a completely different company... or at least it would if they didn't recycled half of their voice actors.
18. "What do I do" of course! :) Thanx, now I remember Jimmy's Chicken Shack.
19. I see your point about most of the bands here being seen on MTV. I'm barely into most forms of rock, so MTV is my only source of rock music. Other than that, I mostly listen to R&B, which probably means I watch too much BET, too.
20. I tried to kill myself once when I was little. I got in a huge fight with my older brother and pulled out a kitchen knife... I didn't go through with it because I thought about how much things hurt that I live through, I couldn't imagine the pain of something that'll kill me. Then when I turned 10, the concept of death hit me hard. Since then, every funeral I go to gives me this painful image of my own funeral. The idea of never seeing anything again in any sense of the word frightens me too much.
21. Jimmy's Chicken Shack... the name sounds strikingly familiar, but I can't remember any of their songs.
22.
Originally posted by amiboshi um.....This is a weird thread. lol.
Yeah, I sorta wrote this after watching Iron Chef.
23. I've never seen the Japanese version of Yugi-Oh, so I can't really say Yugi's voice is bad based on the original. I can, however, say that his voice is still very deep compared to every other guy in the show.
24. The TV rating system is completely biased. Many network censored think "it's this kind of show, so it couldn't be that bad!" I remember Adult Swim had a Yu Yu Hakusho marathon a couple weeks back. With Cartoon Network's constant disclaimers (which take away the entire point of the rating system) and the casual swearing going on in that series, you'd think the show would be rated TVPG, right? Wrong. Watch an episode one Saturday night, It's rated TVY7. Meanwhile, Buffy The Vampire Slayer is rated TV14 for violence. Yes, because we all know that there is no such thing as a violent anime ;) If I had kids, I'd decide if they can watch a movie based on what the movie is about, not the rating. If my kid is 13 and wants to see a rated R movie, it all depends. Violence and language in movies is fine as long as you teach your kids right from wrong at a very early age. I've been watching R-rated movies since I was 6 and I'm idealistically non-violent and to this day I still have a hard time saying the F-word and S-word.
25. Who are some anime characters that are great chefs? Not just the characters that are actually chefs, but the ones who can feed people with weird apetities. Melfina is one. The crew of Outlaw Star never has any money or food, but she always manages to feed 5 people (counting herself).
