I'd take out that Labirynth Wall for another Summoned Skull.
It looks like your going for a beatdown, and tribute defense cards won't help.
Maybe you could Replace Blue Eyes for a Jinzo or a Barrel Dragon.

Replace some of your 1600 ATK monsters with more powerful four-stars.
Try to get more La Jinns, Seven Colored Fish, Harpie's Brother, and if you can find it (Its VERY rare) Mechanicalchaser.
Add in another Man-Eater Bug. Try to get another Wall of Illusion.

Magics look good. You're missing two staples though.
Monster Reborn and Jar of Greed.

Try to focus some of the cards more. You're going offensie, so don't include Chorus of Sanctuary. Try to get some Axes of Despar. Take out Soul Release.

Traps need some work. Be sure to get the trap staples like Mirror Force, Seven Tools, Magic Jammer, etc.

Good Start.:)

Here is a very easy Japanese deck to make.
Thats why it doesn't take to long to build. But its an interesting deck to make.
It all focuses around one monster, the Composite Beast Gazeeto. It has 0 DEF points and has o attack either (Represented with question marks). Its attack is equal to the combined attack of the monsters required to summon it. (Its a level 7)
So the idea for this deck is to summon Gazeeto wiht the use of powerful monsters. Basiccaly, its pure beatdown, but with an interesting twist.

You really need to establish a theme, and take out a few of those high level monsters like Anatsu and replace it with a LaJinn. LaJinn is only level 4 and has an impressive attack of 1800. If you need to establish a theme i sugguest asking Solo Tremaine or Hypershadow.

Firstly, I think you should reduce your card number by a bit to somewhere nearer 40. This is the minimum recommended by UpperDeck, but having too many will decrease your chances of getting the card you want by quite a lot. I think 63 is a bit too much...

For themes... I'm guessing you got the Yugi and Kaiba starter decks, right? There are a few Fiend/Spellcaster ones in there, along with some Earths and Warriors. The large number of high level cards would make them difficult to summon using tournament rules, so keeping them to a ratio of less than about 1:4 with your level 1-4 cards would be useful. It's also good just to have the ratio of monsters to magic/trap cards at about 1:1, so if you had 40 cards, at least 20 would be monsters. Just for general organisation.

I'd take out the monsters that are a minority (e.g. Great White- the only water type) first, as they could be taking up space of another one that could be more useful.

http://www.theotaku.com has a good deck-building guide (written by the highly knowledgeable Altron Gundam), which I would advise checking out. HyperShadow's probably the best one to ask, as my deck's not got a brilliant theme at the moment. Need more cards...

To Dark Knight:

Well a theme is what makes a deck a deck.
Usually people go for beatdowns, by combining Kaiba and Yugi starters.

Fist, be sure you have all of the Big Five magic cards, those which belong in everydeck.

-Raigeki
-Pot of Greed
-Dark Hole
-Monster Reborn
-Change of Heart

You have three of them, but you'll need to get the others for the full potential of magic cards.
Always replace Remove trap and De-spell with Mystical Space Typhoons. Two is a good number. They're much more reliable than the others, and being Quick-plays are helpful.

Remove Trap and De-spell = Mystical Space Typhoon

Dump the Yami. Those field cards take up space. The new MRL ones are much better. But I wouldn't use those either because they don't work to will for F/S Beatdowns. (That's the theme you'll most likely want to use; It's fast and powerful)

Beatdowns rely on power-ups to reach there full potential.
So naturally, Axe of Despairs are necessary. Black Pendants can also be helpful. Others include Fairy Meteor Crush and Premature Burial. And the alll powerful Megamorph (If used properly)Equip cards are vital in beatdowns.

To fill in the gap with your magics, try some of these cards:
- Nobleman of Crossout (Fear the Man-Eater Bugs no more!)
-Tribute to the Doomed (An awesome removal card)
- And maybe some other equip cards.. (See above)

Pretty much all of your attack monsters should have 1700+ attack. most tournament decks have 1800+ but with the cards you hav, its best using 1700+.
Cards for your basic attack monsters.
- La Jinn. Currently the most popular 4-Star attacker. (x3)
- Neo the M. swordsman. A good Spellcaster monster. (x3)

Bistro Butchers are bad, unless used with the Hyper-draw combo in Exodia decks. Letting them draw two cards could mean your downfall if you have controll of the game.

Take otu Empress Judge. Its a fusion, and you have none of the requirements.

1 Tribute Monsters should have 2200+ ATK/DEF
2 Tribute Monsters should have 2600+ ATK/DEF

I usally recommend for beatdowns:
1 Jinzo (Staple, of course)
3 Summone Skulls (The best 1 Tribute in the game)
OR, if you're going up against a deck such as a Direct Damage or Gravity Bind (Those are types of deck themes), you may need to replace the Summoned Skulls witht he quick and powerful, Fiend Megacyber. Its useful ablity helps when speed is the name of the game.
Soul Exchange is not needed when you have a few tribute monsters. It really isn't needed at all.

Keep Tribute monsters to a minimum!

The fewer you have, the better chances of you getting a good hand. If you have too many, you risk the chance fo getting a hand entirely full of Tribue Monsters. So keep that in mind.

Now, for the rest of your monsters.
- Cyber Jar. (This one is perfect in almost everydeck)
- Jinzo (Trap negation is important)
- Black Forest Witch (Easy acess to your good monsters)

To fill in the blank with your other monsters, use whatever you think would help your deck.
I personnaly like to use Wall of Illusions. They fit my theme and re good removal/defense monsters.
For the more offensive side, you could use Maha Vailos and their brilliant effect. It all depends on what you want to do with your deck.

Traps are pretty simple.
Go for the basic Trap format:

-3 Trapholes/Michizures
-1 Mirror Force
-1 Seven Tools of the Bandit
-2 Magic Jammers/Magic Drain
Optional: Solemn Judgement

Remember to have:
-About 20 Monsters
-About 13-14 Magics
-About 7-6 Traps. (Simply because there are more useful magics)

Like Solo said, try to keep it at a 1:1 ratio.
That means a you commonly get good hands.

With that in mind, you're only on your way to getting a better deck.
If you go beyond the F/S aspect of a Beatdown, there are other 4-stars you can use.
- Harpie's Brother
- Seven Colored Fish
- Goblin attack Force (Be sure to get this one once you move out of F/S)

AND if you are really lucky enough to own a MechanicalChaser, use it!

There you go.
Hoped that helped.:)

I sold all of my cards and now started from Scratch...here's my deck...it doesn't really has a theme though...ANd there's a lot of tribute cards.Tell me what I need in my deck and what I don't need.....I dumped all of my level 4 1600 attack monster cards (since my friend kept whupping me at duels because I put all of my over 1500 attack monsters in my deck but it doesn't work really well.) So here's my deck.....

Note: The reason why I play with lots with Tribute because I always duel in a Non-tribute rule. Also I don't pay much Attention to my deck.

Well you should start for a good deck by rules ways of a tournament.
So I suggest choosing a focus of beatdown.
Any particular card you want to focus on? any Element or Sub-type? Strategy?
There are a lot of different focuses towards a beatdown. Choose one and it would be a lot easier to cut down on cards.

Crimson, 66 cards is way too much for a deck. You should take out a few of the higher-level monsters, because that seems to be way too many Tributes. Take out Thousand Eyes Idol. Since you don't have Relinquished to fuse it with, it doesn't need to be in there. Take out Salamandra and Forest, because you don't appear to have anything to use them with. Curse of Dragon's stats are low for a monster of its level, so I would take it out. I'll edit this later.

Suggested High-Level Monsters to Leave in:

Wingweaver
Shadow Ghoul
Summoned Skull
Hyozanryu (Good defense, same with Millennium Shield (Japanese and McD's promo in US)

Use cards that allow you to draw from your deck more, like Pot of Greed (restricted to 1).

That's exactly what I've done. Nearly every single monster 4 stars and lower are 2000 defense monsters (the others are just La Jinn's). I also added the 3 gate-guardian pieces (finally got hold of Kazejin, but not the GG himself) and Gravity Bind, which really seems to help. Shield and Sword is good in there too, but only if you have a Waboku or Enchanted Javelin on the field because in their turn you die easily.

I also use my shield and sword when I have Giant Soldier of Stone and Gravity Bind on the field, that seems to work well.
