That deck is overall pretty bad. Seriously. You just threw in a bunch of cards and called it a deck. If you're going for the Gate Guardian thing, build a deck around it. If you're going for a REBD deck, make one for that. Also, you've got waaaaaay too many cards, and you're lacking a lot of staples. You need a theme.

This might sound harsh, but the only thing I would use that deck for is to take the Gate Guardian and a few other cards, then hand the rest back to you.

Having no duplicates (Ryu-Kishin won't help much) is another bad thing to do. and with two cards in a 66 card deck you only have a 3% chance of drawing the card.

Putting every combo in the TCG into your deck will only slow it down. And with one of each in 66 cards is almost impossible to pull off.
Choose a strategy and use that as your theme. Random cards don't help much.

I see that you have two really worth while combos. Using Parasite Paracide and Insect barrier, but the problem is that you have to many cards, to many monster cards that really not that good. Ditch the Jirai Gumo and Mystical Elf. You also need a mountain Field card so as to boost your BEWD and Harpie's Brother. Lose the Buster Blader and Catapualt Turtle and add another BEWD or a REBD. That's all i can just about see that needs to be fixed.

66 cards are WAY to much. And you also have too many tribute monsters and hardly any magic and trap.If you were to duel anyone that deck would lose VERY badly.....

P.S. Is anyone gonna rate my deck?
Sure......

There's almost no possible way that you could win with that deck. You can't draw out the right cads unless you *cough*cheat*cough*.

You do know what "Tributes" and "Special Summons" are right?

This is very similar to my own deck, based around the Yugi Starter.

You've got far too many tribute monsters, you'd need 11 ordinary monsters to get them all on the field (though you wouldn't get them all on the field at the same time), wiping out most of your ordinary monsters. Take out Sogen as well. It's usually useless to have two different Field Cards in your deck. There's not many cards in your deck that benefit from it anyway.

EDIT:I suggest you use Level 4 monsters with an ATK or DEF over 1500, unless there is a good EFFECT.

Take out Gaia the Fierce Knight. Why?Because you'll have to give up 2 tributes for only a 2300 ATK monster.

I'd take out the Two-Pronged Attack, but use it in a side deck. Why?Because you're destroying 2 of your own monsters just to destroy 1 of your opponents. Why use it in a side deck?Because it could help you in tight situations such as if your opponent has a BEWD on the field.

All around it's an average deck.

P.S I see ou want to build a dark deck eh?I suggest you buy packs of Metal Raiders and Pharoah's Servant.Metal Raiders has great DARK cards such as Witch of Black Forest and Buster Blader.Phaorah's Servant also has great DARK monsters such as Jinzo and Fiend Megacyber.

It's good that you have established a theme. You have a good beginning deck, all you need to do now is buy some booster packs and get those La Jinns or some Neo The Magic Swordsmen. Try to get higher-attacking 4-stars and drop the Gaia the Fierce Knight. Also try to get Mystic Plasma Zone instead of Yami and some good ATK boosters like Malevolent Nuzzler and Horn of the Unicorn (Sword of Deep-Seated works good for beginners too).

Get a few more traps. You've got good Magics, some really good cards in there. You're doing good, just make sure to buy more booster packs.

Let's not get too scathing, guys. It depends what rules you play by. Going by Duellist Kingdom rules, you don't need to tribute, and there are a lot of powerful cards there that could be played easily for a heavy assault.

Although it would still be fairly risky having such a large deck, as you've a much smaller chance of drawing a magic card that could get you out of tricky situations (like trying to counteract SORL or something), or one that you might need (such as Monster Reborn or Trap Hole), in case your defences are shot.

Anyway, let's leave it at that.

Wufei,
I guess by your standards, your deck is made off of your personal metagame. I thik he means in the average tournament metagame.

Making a dragon/machine deck will be hard to do.
First of all, there won't be enough support for both themes. Curretnly, its best just to stick with one, and the fact is that not much of our card selection is machines.
However eventually Dragons/Machines might be playable with a Kaiba-themed deck. Using XYZ and Lord of D as main combos.

Drop the all other themes that require a special focus.
DM's and Girls, Buster Bladers and Operations, etc.

Try staple-izing it, and focus on more of a beatdown, which is what you mostly have left. The other cards require their own decks.

Yes, it works on three levels:

*the majority of the monsters have flip effects that my opponent would just *** oo not activate.

*Ceasefire and Cannon Soldier can do some major burning.

*And, of course, Shadow Ghoul provides muscle after so many of the monsters are sent to the graveyard. :demon:

i've found keeping card destruction in my deck works great against exodia decks..and for recycling my bad cards =p by the way mirror wall isn't very good, i used it for like 1 day then realized so many cards are better for that kind of strategy. if you *NEED* a combat stopper you can just use good ole' waboku, this won't allow you to kill your opponent's monsters but is an all-around better card for the average circumstances of when you *NEED* a trap of that category. i would personally toss in imperial order as well, since you can just toss it after using it once.

I'm afraid Mirro Wall has pulled me out of a jam a few too many times for me to toss it aside. (With Wabaku, there's no way you can inflict damage, but with Mirror Wall, you can inflict damage *and* destroy monsters, if your monster is in attack mode.)

I've never used an Imperial order, so I'll put that in and see how it goes...

In my opinion, Mirror Wall and Imperial Order are extremely good cards. Solemn Judgement is good too, but it's a huge cost. Maybe if it were a continuous trap, it would be better, but it's just a 1 turn card. Imperial Order is great, even if you pay. 700 life points is nothing. You could prevent magic cards for many turns and not take too much cost.

Mirror Wall is great because your opponent's monsters usually die, and if you pay, the cost is a little excessive, but well worth it.
