What is your favorite Dream? Do you have Dreams. Are they special to you? Do you think you can live without dreams? I always wonder what other people dreams are. I mean everyones is different and they are all special. Mine dream though some would call it impossiable, would to fly one day. To fly in the sky like a bird. That would be so cool. What is your dream and do think you can make it come true? :animesmil

Dreams are what keep me going, if I may be blunt. At this point in life, I've dreamt of nothing more than getting a job helping people. From doctor to lawyer*, it all in the end helps.

Another part to that dream is helping more than just English speaking people. Not that helping people who speak English is a bad thing, I figure more people in life speak more than thier first language. That's why I am want to learn a total of four languages in my lifetime. I want to learn German, Spanish, and some asian language.

So far, I've got English down. (If you couldn't already tell ;) ) Now, I'm working on my German in the most interesting place. Germany. Yes, for the past year, I've been attending a German school, which is interesting. For one, it forces ot utilize what little bit of the language you know to function well, because the only class you get in English is English.

Next year,we'll be starting Spanish, so that's one more step forward. Although, I feel lucky to already have a bit from the 02/03 and 03/04 school years. It only earned me one high school crdit, but hey, anything that gives me a head start works. :animesmil

I'll probably forward my Spanish in college, as well as starting a asain language. That way, by the time I'll done, I'll major in at least two languages. That, plus, I could get alot of good jobs with my four languages. :catgirl:

And yes, I do feel that my dream could come true. All it'll take is a hell of alot of work on my part, and a little luck.

* Don't worry I'd fight for the little man, not the rich and famous. No fun in that, unless I'm going against them. =)

Financially, my plan (I guess you could call it a dream, but you can argue a dream won't come true) is to be able to retire by the time I am in my mid-twenties. I am 19 right now, so i about 5 - 6 years I plan to be able to retire. Maybe sooner. How?

Well, I am in the midst of starting my own online business. It will start slow, but the more people I can get wanting to make them money I will be making, the more money I will be making. If I work hard, I will easily be able to retire with the income I will have. After all, these days it takes income to retire, not age. No one says you will have to wait until you are 65 or so.

As for general dreams ... well, I would like to see my signature become a reality.

My dream is a simple one. I want to become a dentist. always wanted to. why you may ask? well... I have no idea :animeswea . I just decided its what i want to do scince i was 3 years old.

however a dream id love to come true (though will never happen for obvious reasons) would be to have the ability to fly :animeswea. I suppose id also like to fly a fighter jet at least once.

for me dreams are very important. i wouldnt be able to function without dreams. they simply give me a reason to work hard.
my dream has always been to get a PhD in a subject and then go and teach over in japan, or work as a sound technician/voice actor on an anime.
I wanted to be an animator for Disney and got to one of their studios in Japan, but sadly they shut them down. I want to be an animator still and have a REAL long plan on how to get their. *Sigh* :animesigh BUT!! I'm not doing anything so it's okay. :animesmil It's a dream of mine and I think people just need the courage to follow their dreams as well as the ability. I wanted to help ppl too, but I don't think Math is my thing. I was thinking about going into environmental science if I found I couldn't make it in the art division of careers. I believe God gives us all talents and gifts and it's up to us to discover how we can use them to do his work. :animesmil

At first I thought art was a moreof a selfish profession, but you can still use the money you gain to help people. Your work can also inspire people and change their life. ;)

As in dream as in a goal of mine? Well you could say I've always loved English and literature. I still don't really know what I'm going to chose my profession as but I like the sound of being an author. I would love to write a fantasy novel like the Chronicles of Narnia or Harry Potter someday, and maybe get my own movie as well? I'd love to star in my own movie, direct it, and get rich and retire early. Now wouldn't that be a sweet deal? I think so.

Hm, I'd like to produce my own anime. Movies are great, but anime can let you produce more sweet moves. Samurai fights rock!! Also hand to hand combat to. :animesmil

Ah, to dream to dream of a dream dreaming of a dream.

Well, I have several in fact, some more realistic than others.

1/ Next year I'd like to move get out of NZ and go to college in America despite the fact I probably only have enough money for the plane ticket so I guess that'll always remain a fond dream.

2/ To marry a great guy that is very very wealthy, so then I wouldn't be deprived of my materialistic passions. Also unrealistic.

3/ To hug Link -- oh wait.. I already dreamt I did that :animesmil

4/ To become a very well paid psychologist, even if it means having to be in the limelight because I'll take the stupid extra attention if I get to live luxuriously.

lastly and most realistically:

5/ Lose myself at the pokemon centre, either the one located in Tokyo or New York.

I think dreams are incredibly important. No matter what you lose, whats taken from you, you'll always have your dreams. Its important to have something to work for. And no matter how many times you fail, you have to keep going, and reach the goal you've been working to achieve for so long.

Music is my dream. I enjoy reading it, writing it, listening to it. Its become my passion, and the dream has nearly become a reality for me. I've come out with some cd's, my purevolume is getting tons of hits, and people everywhere are enjoying what I've worked so hard to create. I love it, and its proof that dreams do come true, so don't give up.

For if dreams die

I would have to say that my dream is to learn as much as I can. I want to know everything. I guess you can say that I have a thirst for knowledge...^_^; But with my thirst it is like you kept giving me salt water and that only makes me thirstier.
That is a pretty general dream, perhaps, but I really do want to learn everything. I could got to school for the rest of my life and be as happy as I can be. Don't get me wrong I'm not book nerd, well perhaps a little, but I actually like learning the hands on stuff. Like how to repair your car, or to put in an electrical system. But my real love is languages and music...I want to know it all! Bwahahaha. Ahem, I think I have rambled enough...I think you get my gist.

My dream is rather simple. I want to either go into Politics, write a book on Political science, and become the first Communist Dictator of Canada, and strengthen our mil- Bring about socialist reforms that canvastly improve Canada's political standings.

Failing that, I wan't to go into history releated subjects. History is like a drug to me. I can read about the Crusafes for hours on end, learning about each and every incedent and such, and I love every minuite of it. I might be a professer or an archeaologist.

My dream is to go to outer space someday. So I'm hoping technology improves enough to let me do this. I've always wanted to see Earth from all the way up there, ever since I saw Star Wars when I was a kid. :animesmil After that I've always wanted to see the gardens in Japan. Though that dream will be a reality in the next five years. :animesmil

The easy thing would be to say I want a music store.

However, more specifically it gets more complicated. A lot of it more or less revolves around the same things Peter Gibbons wants in Office Space: nothing. Not nothing in the sense of a vast emptiness or the living equivalent of death, but just to be comfortable and to like what you're doing. Having no general worries. Sometimes I think being a hermit or something would be doable. I could do without electronics and such if I had to, honestly. Some don't believe that, but I know I could.

Of course, problems and tribulations are a part of life, so that idea goes nowhere.

My favorite dream is, ironically, my most painful dream. In that dream, I'm able to be with the woman I love. It's a simple dream, but it's so incredibly wonderful. And then comes the painful part: waking up. That dream, no matter how great it is, isn't real. And it can't be real. It's my fault, but there it is.

Guest Kaise
I've got a number of them.

My first and probably hardest one to do is make my game. I want to be a game designer, and i've had the idea for something since the 4th grade. I'm now in 9th grade, which should be a good example of how long i've had the concept of it. I finally decided it should be a video game in 6th grade, so...yeah.

My second? Own a Cobalt PT Crusier.

My third is to marry my girlfriend.

My dream...

To become well-off, to accomodate my extremely lavish tastes in food, houses, cars, and just about everything else.

And to experience zero gravity. It's been a dream of mine ever since I was little to go into space, but experiencing zero-g would give a similar effect, even if it's in some uber-tech room.

My dream is really to live in an anime world. That would really just be perfect! I mean, try and imagine it! The expressions, the looks, the atmosphere, adventures? I know it sounds cheesy and I know it will never come true. But I still think of how cool it would be to have that come true. Silly, I know but you have to admit that would be so awsome! :animesmil

Well, for the past 2 years, I have been studying and doing intense training, consisting of heavy one hour stretching, bag work, strength workout, and jogging, for my dream, kung fu. of course I want to be "greatest in the world" But that is a little unrealistic. The chances of somone unchinese entering the all chinese martial arts competetion is very slim. And they dont have Kung-fu in the olyimpics (except wushu which is another story). So simply I want to teach kung fu.

I was encouraged to join a martial art, through seeing "The Big Boss" More commonly known as " Fist Of Fury" Bruce Lee's first film. I saw how Bruce Lee kicked major arse. And to tell you the truth, I love arse kicking. So I looked in the phonebook and found the most practical kung fu system in many peoples opinions. Seven Star Praying Mantis. My teacher was a true master. Just a few days ago, 9 time world champion Tong Sheng Wei, one of the most recognized and tallented colligraphers in the world, visited our academy, for one of his old students, practiced under our master. This old student was Master Tong Sheng wei's was named eric. Tong sheng waei arranged to teach at my academy for two weeks. My teacher asked me to do a nan quan form. ( A very hard form with alot of tension, alot of muscle strenghth is needed in the hamstrings to hold most of the low posistions.) I was soo happy to perform, and have the honor to buy one of tong sheng weis works of art, and the honor to show him a form! It was a great honor. One that made me realise, that I have alot of time to make myself a recognizable martial artist, and to try to get into the chinese games.

Dreams do keep people going. Some dreams come true, some dreams are people's destiny's (uh, would that be concidered the same thing? :animeblus ) anyways... my dream, I want to become a writer... an anime novelist to be specific. I love to write. I'm very good with computers too, so that helps with typing... but I really don't like writing what someone tells me to do, I like to write what I want to, rather do something not of my interest... I also want to go travel all over Aisa one day... I've been wanting to go there forever... since I was really really little... so, yeah :D my dreams keep me something to think about the future and to keep me going. :catgirl:
