Driven

Far away from you, twisted
Driven away by you, tormented
All I wanted was you, broken
You said I had you, battered

Never again

I am not your pawn
I am not your slave
I am not your conscience
I am not your soul

You life is your own.

You drove me to this.
You allowed me this.
You gave me this.
You wanted this.

Sing me not your screams.
I lost the right to hear them.
Long ago, in another deep night.
It was another I embraced.

Nevermore yours.
Nevermore my own.
I have been set adrift.

You drove me away.

I tried once more,
Summoning my broken pride,
Forcing myself to listen to the voice,
The voice that told me I could do better.

Sing for me again.

So I did,
The lines coming back to me,
And it was good,
Very good.

You are everything you need to be.

Are you sure I am everything I can be?

No. But you will be. I promise.

From Void to Joy

As I lay here in the darkness

Rolling from one universe to the next

Watching the novas and supernovas

Flash by

I see your face

As I lay here waiting in the darkness

Waiting for death to come upon me

Waiting for the darkness to envelope me

And engulf me whole

I see your face

As I see your face in the supernovas

That impedes the darkness

I realize that I am worthless

You are the one that gives me joy

Happiness is a thought unless

Your presence has been noticed

The void consumes me

Until you fill in that Dark?

Empty?..

Void.

A tribute to Kingdom Hearts....
~~~~~~
Choose your role,
Fight the good fight,
Seal the heart,
Defend the weak.
Defeat the strong,
Change your mind,
To stop the pain,
Go with your friends.
Another door to go into,
Another place to seal,
Another demon to put down,
And Another day to live.
He fell from grace,
She lost her heart,
He fights for life,
And they will meet again.
So push me down,
And kick my heart,
You know I won't get up and fight,
Because you've taken it all away.
I could scream,
But who would hear it?
Nobody would really mind,
Because we both will never win.
You acuse me of knowing too much,
And being impossible,
But you now you're lying,
Because you're ignorant.
So if you like to hurt the helpless,
Go right on and do it,
I'm making it easy for you,
Because I won't mind much.
Some people like to point at me,
And joke and tease,
And they don't know.
That when my doors close and the windows are opened,
I'm another soul,
And I'm not in control.
I think that if I actually let it go and show them me,
They'll laugh and point,
And who nees that?
Certainly not me.
I'll close my doors,
And wait for the future.
With no heart,
There is no life.
With no athletics,
There's no wife.
Does anyone like me,
Will they care.
Ye who owns the,
thy whom owns thou.
Life doesn't make since,
Just like those lines.
Nothing is fair,
Not even dream time.
So remember to grasp,
All in your hands,
Don't let go,
For you are the one to weld the sword.
 • 2 weeks later...
She closed off her mind,
And the insults bounced off,
The power was great,
But it was not enough.
She laughed at them,
And they taunted and baited,
The energy was loud,
But the emptiness was enormous.
She cried when nobody watched,
And they stopped laughing,
The tears were thick,
But the love was stronger.
She fell through an endless void,
And they didn't reach for her,
The pain was terrible,
But the fear was conquered.
And she said, "Alas my love, I say goodbye."
She smiled and pointed,
Then she uttered the only words she knew.
"I see you! Moon!"
It glowed from behind the heavy clouds,
And winked and sang for the child.
The elder sister,
Watching and smiling.
"It watches you too."
She laughed and pointed again,
Small eyes and little fingers.
Playing and rolling,
Satisfied with such little things.
"Moon!"
I rested in the dooway
too afraid to go
I glanced at my reflection
at the puddle down below
I seemed to look so different
something must have changed
My body looked no different
but my eyes were rearranged
I guess it was a glimpse of tomorrow
for no stars were in my eyes
so I walked out of the doorway
without saying goodbye
The prisoner on death row awaited his final sentencing.
He walked the centeral white line leading to his ultimate end.
He walked alone, feeling the stares of everyone with uncertainty.
He walked with the shackles on his hands and feet,
New chains worn by an old body.
The guards opened the door for him, leading into a small green room.
He sat on the chair that would take his life once and for all.
He sat alone, witnesses prepared to record the details of his death.
He sat with a white piece of cloth on his head.
Old belts strapped his scarred wrists.
The protesters gathered at the gates, anti and pro.
He was patient, never struggled.
He was emotionless, stayed quiet.
He was...innocent...
Energy flowed through him, and he finally felt power.
The shutters closed and all was quiet.
He was freed from the metallic cap and white cloth.
He was freed from the bounds of shackles.
He was freed from the stench of a rotting home.
A new life awaited him outside of this reality.
The old man stood by the sea
as waves trumpeted their songs
and salt filled the breeze.
The old man stood by the sea
as the world slowly died
and heroes fell to their knees.
The old man stood by the sea
as the sky caved in
and the fires ran free.
And the old man stood by the sea
pondering if heaven
was all it was cracked up to be.
The old man stood by the sea
Taking his hand, slighting the breeze
As worlds died and his hand aged
He stood by the sea
Watching heaven up in the sky
Glooming off into the bright sea
Something sparkles he wonders why he
Doesn't see
The ocean wonders, the sea bleeds
But he still stands
Forgot and creed
Keep goin' Heaven. Let's see what we can make. :)
Always happy to oblige
the ocean wanders
the sea bleeds
the pied piper
plays his reeds
all the king's horses
and all the king's men
could not stop the children
from following his hymn
through the mountians
they ramble east
after the man
who is truly a beast
they come to ocean
and the piper feeds
the ocean wanders
the sky bleeds.
