Today's Poem [M -- As a Precaution]

Heaven's Cloud

I step out of the shadows
and cast out all reluctance from my mind.
Inhaling, my body shudders with anticipation
Exhaling, my head dizzies with hope.
As I approach, the moon plays at my back
and the stars sparkle in her eyes.
I speak, and she responds
And we dance as the fairy tale unfolds.

An Overdose Delusion...
Heaven's Night
The mists of fear
Lift from my sight.

I wander through the forest
In search for the truth
Only to find the faces
Of the elder trees

They say, "Over there."
One after the other
They point me to different directions
And I realize...they can't help me.

I call out to the skies
No one hears me
Echos coming back at me
Now I know it's time.

Leaving this place
Providing only a passage to the other side
A moonlit path looms in front of me
To a place where I can cry.

The lies the people try to give me
In return they feed off my life
Trying to take from me what is right.
No faces left to turn to.

No one's there
All these feelings
I have to feed off their hunger
Thoughts dancing in and out my mind.

My soul is bleeding
I am searching, am I blind?
All alone and bound forever
Trapped inside me for all time...

Someone please...save me...

My brain is a archive of experiance, curiosity, and knowledge

My vains are ant tunnels, always bussy, always working, never stopping

my heart is my power plant, fueling my body with power for the day ahead

my soul is a wandering bird searching for awnsers to existance

my surroundings are my insperation telling me to write this poem...

not bad for a 11 year old huh?
Yeah not bad at all. Uhh.. I am 9. Here when your writing a poem you do most of the lines lik this:

Look at the tree,
and see your future,
Jump in time,
And go far.

Ok?

Here's my poem.

I watch the clouds,
They shape some shapes,
On looks like you,
No I miss you.

I can't take it anymore,
I must know where you are,
How,
far.

Sing me a lullaby,
A love song from the heart,
Join me as I dance,
The eternal movement of my feet.

Show me the steps,
That you know,
And in return I give,
What I have learned from life.

I am not afraid,
To look you in the eyes,
Past sorrows and pain and fear,
And see the real you.

I take my vows,
This heart of mine,
Entertwines itself,
With yours. My dear heart.

Uhh thanks.

You cry,
Loud,
From the heart,
To the lungs,
sometimes you say I fly,
But I really don't
Your better,
Faster,
Stronger,
I can't keep up,
You are liked better,
I am not.

This is a poem from my heart. It is about a kid at school.:shifty:

I embrace you
You turn the way of the future
I look towards your past.
Opposite sides

I close my eyes
feel the deepness of your love
the tenderness of your chest
Wishing rain would come.

As we stand cheek to cheek
In this everlasting moment
I take a step backwards, with my right foot
towards the direction you're facing.

You follow with your left
I take a step with my left
You follow with your right.
I push slightly away and raise my hand.

Thumb, index, and pinky
Raise up, saving the other two for later
The first time I reached out to you.
You tried to hold on.

And now we stand here face to face
with our hands held tightly
I whisper the words
"I love you"

And share this night with you
Engraved in our hearts
In time
In spirit.

Mice running in a maze
Glass towers and crooked streets
Moist clubs bouncing with techno beats
Jutting concrete, brown and gray
Skies indistinguishable between night and day

Damp, crumpled dollar bills buy our time
Nihilistic mantra haunts the mind
Police don't fight crime
Every politician has his price
They're the snakes and we're the mice

People like you and I are on borrowed time
You thought that you were larger than life
Bigger than the world itself
Don't feel bad, that's what they all think
You're not valuable and neither am I

Will you be the rodent on their plate
The bothersome crumb, clinging to their gums
Mice running in a maze, that's what we are
It makes sense if you think about it
Perfect Sense.

lol, I'm actually entering this in an online poetry contest. I'll let you guys know if I win. I'll bring it home for otaku, yeah baby! :toothy:

The gravity of love
places a heavy burden on me.
The eyes of truth
look at me with piercing eyes.

In an age of lonliness
who couldn't get swept away
by the confusion, lost
in lust, in love?

Mea culpa
I'm sorry to bear weight
on your already heavy soul.
Though, just follow your own way.

Return to innocence, a child
young, pure, and beautiful.
It's not the beginning of the end
it's the return to yourself...

I cry,
You fly,
I might,
Die.

But in a long time,
I shalt die now,
Niether shall you,
But it is to be born.

I must know why,
Why people die,
Twas I shalt die,
Niether shal you and I.

I fly threw the air,
Know you are there,
Your heart is all the pain,
I take it all away.

The hope is lost
the darkness dawns
Evil reins
the light is gone
Miracle magic
faintest dreams
Drowned in darkness
never seen
Why to try
the battle lost
Black and cold
the losers cost
Ray of courage
shock of light
Spark of friendship
flames grow bright
Hope shines through
dreams come true
Evil banished
the world is new
Dream on, young warrior
for love is bright
Strongest courage
whitest light
You held my hand
through strangest lands
Hope never died
stay by my side
Your strength alone

Am I Enthralling?
Or just afraid?
Do I appear to be ready?
Or just over confident?

I passed the tests,
I sang the songs,
I moved through the dances,
Without a fault.

But now I am cowed,
And afraid.
So I signed myself up for this life,
In hopes that another window would open.

Am I ready?
I think I am.
But do you believe in me?
Or are you just lying?

It's to late for second glances.

In times of peril and plight I look to you...
For a new sense of hope.
A ray of light in a gloomy dark sky strikes down...
So I can find you
and be with you
when I need you...
I doubted you, you doubted me.
I wish I could turn back time...
but I can't.
Who knows what the future will hold.
But hold on,
hold on close to me
so I don't loose you...
In the path of life.
As bleak as it has and will be.
This is the present.
Where everything is clear,
everything is certain.

I love you with all my heart
And nothing will ever change that.

By the hand of your spirit,
Play the strings of my heart,
Let me sing,
The hidden songs.

By your love,
Let me hear it.
This song on my heart,
Was not for you.

Hold me in your hands,
Take me as I am,
Take me away,
I want to be in the secret place.

"Peace for an eternity,"
said the wise man.
Yet it has never came to be.
Once every thousand years

A star is born.
Buried deep within the earth
is it's seed.
It seeks to find life.

Feeding off the planet
spreading it's roots of evil
across the land.
It stays firmly planted

In the hearts of man.
Lavos, the parasite
Taking life away
Before moving on.

Once upon a dream,
The faeries could fly,
The flowers could smile,
And my heart was at peace.

Once upon a dream,
Hatred was gone,
Pain was only a memory,
And my soul could sing.

Now in my life,
Anger is life,
Heartache is daily,
And my mind is chained.

Now in my life,
I wish I could change,
Let everything go,
And life life once upon a dream.

Bottles of gas lay at the table.
They lay open, the drug leaking out.
Walk in, you'll choke
Stay out, it will provoke.

An innocent child walks
around the corner of the street
He passes the house
turns around

Picks up his feet.
He runs from the foul smell
With all the good reason.
The gas nears a man

Lighting his cigarrete
He wonders about
the 7 wonders of the world
the seven deadly sins.

Once the gas touches his light,
everything sets ablaze.
Never once did he smell the foulness in the air.
But the child, made it to safety.

Posessed from below,
This heart is not my own,
I wait for the release to come,
But it is all for nothing.

Send your demons,
Away from my heart,
And change my future,
Into something special.

I suppose I should thank you,
For opening my eyes,
But when I look back,
All I can see is the pain you gave.

It seared through my heart,
Penetrated my mind,
Corrupted my soul,
And know I think it's over.

No more will I feel happiness,
No more will I dance and sing,
No more will I listen to your lies,
No more will I allow you to consume me.

It's over, all over now.

Many many years ago
When I was twenty three,
I got married to a widow
Who was pretty as could be.

This widow had a grown-up daughter
Who had hair of red.
My father fell in love with her,
And soon the two were wed.

This made my dad my son-in-law
And changed my very life.
My daughter was my mother,
For she was my father's wife.

To complicate the matters worse,
Although it brought me joy,
I soon became the father
Of a bouncing baby boy.

My little baby then became
A brother-in-law to dad.
And so became my uncle,
Though it made me very sad.

For if he was my uncle,
Then that also made him brother
To the widow's grown-up daughter
Who, of course, was my step-mother.

Father's wife then had a son,
Who kept them on the run.
And he became my grandson,
For he was my daughter's son.

My wife is now my mother's mother
And it makes me blue.
Because, although she is my wife,
She is my grandma too.

If my wife is my grandmother,
Then I am her grandchild.
And every time I think of it,
It simply drives me wild.

For now I have become
The strangest case you ever saw.
As the husband of my grandmother,
I am my own grandpa.

Do you really want to live forever?
Immortality is not what it seems,
You can never die from injury,
Only let the wounds fester on and on.

If you want to die,
It woun't happen,
Not in my life time,
So you are cursed, not blessed.

Sometimes it could be nice,
But only when you are in danger,
But there would be no thrill,
No fear of dying.

Because you would be imortal.
And if you fell in love with a human,
She would die of old age,
Nothing would keep you happy.

Except maybe the hope of finding another.

My heart was swimming
in words gathered by the wind.
My voice bounded
into a cloud-carried tomorrow.

My heart trembled
in the moon-swayed mirror...
Soft tears
spilled with a stream of stars.

Isn't it beautiful?
If we could walk, hand in hand,
I'd want to go
to your town, your home, in your arms.

I dream of being
against your chest.
My body in your keeping
disappearing into the evening.

Words halted by wind are
a gentle illusion.
A tomorrow torn by clouds is
the voice of a distant place.

My heart that had been
in a moon-blurred mirror that flowed.
Those stars that trembled and spilled
cannot hide my tears.

My dream of
your face
that I softly touch
melts in the morning.

Give me back,
Take me to my home,
Release me from these chains,
Wound around my soul.

When you took me,
I was happy,
But I was not prepared,
To face what my life would be.

Please give me to my world,
And I'll let you go to yours.

Take me for a journey to the unknown,
alone,
with nothing to lose.

For a time,
many people heard the exact same thing
hear the repititions ring
and sing the siege of the mind.

It is my mind to mold and meld into one
It is my soul to hold and scold when right is wrong.

You're not taught it
you just know it
seeps inside you
at birth
releasing you from the halls of pain.

It scorches you and melts all that you know,
all that you believe in,
into rock.

Set in stone,
the shape your soul takes
is determined by the stakes
and the hammers of your own will...
