Mara whispered triumphantly as the door clicked. Unfortunatly, she was face to face with a clone. "Mara?" the clone said disbeliveingly, its voice muffled by its helmet. "Siren?" Mara gasped. The clone removed its helmet and Siren smiled. "So the senator becomes a pick-pocket." she said teasingly. Mara smiled and pocked a finger on Siren's foehead. "And it's all your fault." Mara laughed quietly, but Siren' face became serious. "I found out what happening to Lalaith." Siren said quietly. "Really?" Mara inquired anxiously. "Yup. I was going to get you and go to where he was, but..." "But!?" "Shh, keep your voice down! They have a security system that is more advanced than I've ever seen. They have the locks easy so you [b]can[/b] escape...they want you to. We have to be careful." Siren said. Mara nodded her head in disappointment. "So it's gonna take a while to get there, isn't it?" "Ah," Palpatine said, turning around and walking towards her, "the infamous Senator Heartlock. I've heard [i] much [/i] about you." "Oh?" Mara asked cooly, Siren standing at her side. "Oh, yes. Something about not betraying you, I believe." he said, gazing at the figure behind him. "Is that so?" Mara asked quietly, taking a step towards Palpatine. "You have a chance to save him." "Say what you want, Mara!" he yelled as he pulled the lightsaber closer to Lalaith's neck. "STOP IT!" She screamed, "Take me." Palpatine's smile grew wider. "And what would I do with you, Senator?" he asked maliciously. Mara shook her head and looked Palpatine staright in the eye. "I don't know," she said quietly, "Just...don't hurt him." Boba Fett Posted June 2, 2002 Share Posted June 2, 2002 Boba Fett grinned as the [I]Slave I[/I] came out of hyperspace above the planet Marion. The message he had recived from Mara mentioned a possibility of extra credits, should they summon the army in less than two days. Boba had flown the [I]Slave I[/I] at top speed towards Marion, and taken a very dangerous hyperspace route. When they landed at the spaceport they took a hover taxi to the palace to see the queen. They waited several hours before they were escorted, by uneasy looking gaurds, to the Queen's audience chamber. Queen: "What do you want, bounty hunters?" Boba: "Leana has hired us to tell you to send half the army she sent for too a planet two away from this one. She wants them there in less than a day." Queen: "Very well, I will do this. But be warned bounty hunter, if this information isnt true, you will be very very sorry. You may leave now." The gaurds escort Boba and Lauren to the door. Then they send a message to Mara, stating that the army is on its way and that the payment for this can be sent to the Kaminan embassy on Coruscant. Tell the Queen to prolong the transport of the army until my arrival in Marion tommorow. I would like to meet you, so be at the official docking base of Marion at the time I am sending to the Slave 1, along with further instructions. Please, stay at the Emabassy of Marion and make yourself comfortable. My planet is not partial to bounty hunters, so whatever you do, say it is under the authorization of Senator Heartlock or Princess Leana.
