Mared looked around. No traces of the dark angel. "He can't be too far, he still needs a soul from a creature of light to perform the ritual." A groan came from behind him. "She's waking!" One of the Souls called. Mared kneeled next to her. "Are you okay?" "Yes, I am now." She bowed to the king. "Thank you all. You saved my life." "I think Doma is not far, we should split up and search for him. What do you think?" "I am not sure how good of an idea it is, but that is our only possibility." The king sighed. "I will go with Nexcii and one of the souls and look out at this level." "Okay, Faith, I and another soul will look over the second floor." O'owin suggested. "That leaves me, and... What's your name?" Mared asked the elf. "I am Silistra, Hight Priestess of Anal'ya." She said. "We are left with examining the lower levels of the castle, it seems." "Oh..." The three souls separated and each joined a pair, then the three groups walked out in search for the dangerous monster. "Wait!" Mared suddenly exclaimed. "How will we warn the others if we find Doma?" "Use the scrolls." Answered the king. Mared blinked and looked at Silistra. "Alarm scrolls. I'll show you soon enough."

Ok, and finally, before we get back to the rpg, Nexus' post is terribly confusing. Could someone sums up the situation for me?
-
Hum, that's to your liking, Egyptgirl since it's not sure whether or not you were teleported there. I assumed not.

ooc: Really? I didn't see it... or do you mean you wanted to ut DN in? *is a bit lost*
-
(ooc: Solo, technically, DN isn't summoned yet, but we'll work with it. I meant they were near the temple to collect the last soul, but that's fine too. lol. I'm overpowered.) Mared looked as the spellcasters battled. He didn't know Doma was such a potent enemy. He decided to help as much as he could. He raised his sword. "Come to me Thunder, by the name of Guardian Toraisu, I command you!" A second, the sky darkened and lightning fell on the yellow blade. Mared grabbed the handle with both hands and slashed the sword forward, causing a cackling ball of electricity to be hurled at Doma. Then the spellcaster activated a Spirit Mirror spell. "Duuuuck!" Faith warned as they ran for cover, the spell sending the attack back in a random direction. It collided with a Dark Magician statue in a fighting stance and broke the staff. Mared was covered with rock shards. "Okay, that wasn't a good idea..." Mared warned, glancing at Faith. "Mared, here!" O'owin called. "What now?" Mared rushed over, Faith behind him. O'owin just pointed at the elf's face. Her eyes were still open and revulsed, but moving, her lips too, but no sound escaped. "We interrumpted the Spirit Elimination process." Mared indicated "She's using a spell to try and grasp her soul back completely. She is a strong woman. Maybe I can..." Before he could complete his sentence, he was whacked upside the head by a dark and dirty melon-sized hairball. "Giant Germs!" Faith gasped. She repelled several of them thanks to her Mirror Wall, but more come forth from halls and pouring into the room. "Book summon! May your light be their doom!" O'owin activated her own little trick, summoning a two-feet tall Book of the Sun. It oppened and it's light quickly absorbed several Germs. "Anybody got an idea?" Mared turned to the Holy Shining Souls, who were trying to assist the elf. "They won't be on any help." O'owin said. Was that a glare? "Then protect them! Until she is fine, there's not much we can do about those." Mared said, nodding at the king and slicing it's sword through another Giant Germ. "NO! Don't do that!" O'owin yelled, too late. The germ divided in a dozen of smaller creatures. Mared blinked. "That is not good." He muttered.

It certainly won't be the case in English... Look what they did of Zombyra the Dark... As for Japanese, I'm not really familiar with it, but the play is centering on set of cards and specific combos too, rather than pure beatdown, which can't reallyt be done now without some kind of focusing

Mother Grizzly, actually. Whoeve wants to ask is free to.

Simon is not out in english-released storyline yet, but it was his teacher in Ancient Egypt I believe. Can somebody answers my previous question??

"He is right." Mared confirmed. "With Spirit Elimination, you don't even need to actually kill the monster. The soul can be taken directly." The king gasped. Ripping the soul from someone's body. This certainly was scary. Mared was deep in though of how to stop them. They already had Water, Earth and Fire. He assumed Wind wouldn't be a problem, and neither was Darkness. There was still light. He gasped in realisation. "They're here!" He whispered, twirling around and scanning everywhere he could look. "What??" Mared started pacing back and forth, thinking aloud. "All they need is wind and light, now, and from what we know, they seems to appreciate 'exemplary' souls. Right now this place is a paradise to them, with all the who's who in Light/spellcaster Realm and much less supervision than there would be in the palace..." Realisation dawned on everybody and they scattered looking for somebody out of place.

ooc: No prob, I was planning to put the background info anyway in this post. Picture Dark Necrophia... The name ran in the minds for at least a minute without a sound to interfer. Dark Necrophia, the puppet created by the Gods themselves to be their most feared minion. A monster with powers so terrifying you it could not be created naturally. There wasn't a creature with habilities natural or acquired even close to the mind control Dark Necrophia possessed. And the Dark Ones were determined to summon it. "This is wrong, VERY wrong." O'owin murmured. "You have no idea. Dark Necrophia doesn't obey to any master, it will only act to it's likeing." Drail completed. "Exodia bless us..."

Errrr... Even for a god, that's a WAY LOT. At least, tone down it's attack or something... (5000 is much enough considering battle city has 4000 lp)

Eh, just because it makes reference to Atlantis later, they will try to have Yu-Gi-Oh banned or something?

"Now for my turn, I will simply attack your Oppressed Citizens and end my turn." Hermes announced as the people were destroyed. "You know, in a game such as duel monster, you should never let too much time to your opponent..." Mokuba noticed. "I place a card face-down and I summon Roulette Bomber in attack mode!" A monster looking like a mortar with a roulette disc divided in 6 was summoned to the field. (1000/2000) Two arrows where placed on the disc. "Roulette Bomber has a very nifty effect: I can spin both arrows, and destroy a monster of yours with the same level! Roulette Bomber, Spin it!" The two arrows started to spin, but only managed to produce a 3 and a 1. Mokuba punched the platform. "Then I will lay my last two two cards face-down." he indicated. Hermes looked at the card he just drew and smirked. "I play Coins From Heaven, this will fill both our hands up to 5." he announced. "Then, this is the perfect time for..." he flipped his face-down card, "Quick Shotgun! A trap card that deals you 200 dammage per cards you have in hand or on the field." A multicolored shotgun shot a ball at each of his card and monsters. Hermes growled as the dent appeared in his life points.(4000->2800) He'd need to end this a quickly as possible. "I will then summon my Two-Headed Cerberus. And I will equip him with Hermes' Boots. This equipment card allows my monster to attack twice during the battle phase." The two-headed snarling dog appeared on Hermes' field. "To begin with, destroy the oppressed Citizens!" The small caracters where no problem for the monster. "And now, attack Roulette Bomber!" "Activate trap! Thunder Break!" Mokuba discarded a card from his hand, and the winged boots at the cerberus' feet disappeared, disallowing a second attack. "Humpf, your turn." The miffed Hermes said. "Thank you." (2600->2800) Hermes looked in disbelief has his opponent's life points actually raised. "Don't look at me like that. The card I discarded was Marie the Fallen One, a monster that gives me 200 life points each turn when it is in my graveyard. And I will sacrifice both my monsters to summon the Jackal Paladin!" The monster showed as a representation of the God Anubis. (2700/1200) "I set two cards and I attack your Fearless Chimera!" With his two blades, the Paladin sliced the chimera. (2800->2500) "Now for my turn, I set these two card face-down, and I sacrifice my Two-Headed Cerberus for my Headless Knight." "As my turn begun, I activate Invasion of Territory! by discarding another card, I keeps you from summoning a monster during your next turn. Now, my Jackal, attack!" Unlike what Mokuba expected, the paladin was actually destroyed by his opponent (3000->2800) "That was the doing of my trap: Grasp from Beyong (2500-1900). And my Death Calculator deals a player 500 points of dammage each time a monster goes to the graveyard." Added Hermes. (2800->2300) "And since you have no cards on the field, I can attack you directly!" (2300->0) Duel end! Winner: Hermes Kadukeus By way of: knockout Score: 7/0/0 Thirty locator cards Hermes walked up to Mokuba. "You are good, ust a bit too flashy. Flashy players always carry they doom with them. Remember that." "You can be sure I will!" A man sitting on a chair next to the Arena walked up to him clapping with his hands. "Great duel." Hermes turned toward him. "Thank you. Still, I hoped it could have been a garder fighted one. You are...?" He asked.

After some searching, O'owin and Mared managed to find Drail. "Excuse, me, elder, but do you know of what happened to the member of our order that was sent before us?" O'owin asked. A nearby Holy Shine Soul interrupted. "After Faith's disparition has been noticed, only one of us went away to tell the elders. And nobody came to the temple outside... err... Everybody in the meantime." She said, refering to the egitations around the shrine. "Who was she?" Drail asked. "I don't know." Mared replied. "I do." O'owin filled in. "It was a Water Magician by the name of Alenaya." "I haven't heard of her." Drail said, shaking it's head. Mared's face suddenly bleached. "That's not good... Oh no, that's not good..." he murmured. "What?" Podys asked, having walked over. "Well, Hepadee killed the court intendant, the Princess of Tsurugi, and he was previously researched for the murder of a Boar Soldier. Now we have Elenaya that disappeared, a Water Magician." Mared explained. "That makes three of the main elements." "I know that the Command Kbight, Lord Tyerar, highest general of the army in the fire realm was also recently murdered." O'owin confirmed. Mared's face had almost turned green. "Spirit Elimination." he spurted. "What?" O'owin asked, puzzled. "It's a technique I practice. A ritual that allows the mere soul of a person to be extracted. When you combine souls from all six main elements, you can summon..." "They wouldn't dare...?" Drail trailed. "Yes, I think they are planning to summon Dark Necrophia."

Actually, well-used shadows can make up for fantastic effects, and not that much illisible or horrible, but few people actually CAN use these effects correctly so I agree with James on that one. Adding Helvetica would be nice though, I think. A simple enough script font would be cool too.

There are still 5 1900 ATK level and that's an awfull lot... I mean, even in japanese there aren't that many (9 if I correctly remember) 1900 level 4 effectless (Like Gemini Elf or Demon Soldier) or nearly effectless (Like Newt or Spear Dragom)
-
No, that'd be the Divine Thunder Emperor. it's a 2900 ATK 2 tribute monster, can't be targetted by traps and with the requirement that to be reborn from the grave, you must sacrifice a dragon on the field.

OOC: No idea... Wasn't he listening around last time I checked? Mared groaned. Women... He walked out of the temple expecting to find less noise, but only walked in the moved local court. At least that was more familiar to him. An outburst near the forest edge got his attention. A Lady of Faith and several Aqua Madoors were trying to calm down an angered Crimson Sentry. "I am O'owin D'rabon of the Awaiters and I demand explanations." she huffed, finally crossing her arms and sitting down on a nearby rock. Mared chuckled and walked up to her. "Hello, there, fellow awaiter. May never a cloud crawl up into your sky." He politely greeted her. "At the moment it would rather be a thunderstorm." She grumbled. "Can you fill me on the latest, er...." she seemed to realise she didn't know his name and her phrase in a blank sound. Mared chuckled mentally. "Your servitor is Mared of Dryd'n." Her eyes widened. "But you are dead!" She exclaimed. "Rather, someone faked my death. We could certainly use some agents with 'Book of the Moon' habilities." he laughed. "So, there is not much to say, apparently, we were never really needed, but the organization's information were so bad they believed there was nobody guarding the temple." O'owin glared at him. "Then what happened to the first knight who disappeared?" Mared blinked. "Good point. We'll have to ask the Elders as soon as we'll find them." With these words, they walked away to find Drail and Podys. FYI, Podys is the Ancient Elf, since he wasn't named already.

Hermes walked out of his cabin to watch the magnificent sunrise. Not too long, for he needed his eyes in order to duel. He strode to the restaurant and ate without real appetite. His most recent duels had been disappointing and he felt he needed a real challenge before the finals. A kid with black hair walked up to him. He held a small notepad with names on it. "Hermes Kadukeus?" he asked. "Right." Hermes looked up from his eggs. "I am Mokuba Kaiba, the last opponent you will be facing before the finals... or the elimination." The boy said proudly. "Mokuba Kaiba? As in 'brother of Seto Kaiba'? My my, I am honored. But why are you saying 'the last opponent'?" Hermes asked curiously. "Because I am the one peoples who haven't reached 30 locator cards duel. If they beat me, I give them the cards they need. If they don't..." He showed a box full of locator cards. "Those are from the two duelists who lost to me this morning." "I see... So I guess I'm the next scheduled once I am finished with my breakfeast?" Hermes proposed. "You're right on that one." ++Later++ "Great, I can lose it all for 2 little cards?" Hermes groaned to himself. A bit too loud, maybe. "Exactly, that's what happen when you aren't getting it fast enough!" Mokuba grinned. "Great, now let's duel!" Hermes retorted. "I start with the Oppressed Citizens, in defense mode!" A small huddled group of peasants and a steadfast gard with a whip appeared on the field. (400/2000) "And i play a card face-down." "Very well, I summon the Little Chimera, in attack mode!" A grey cat with eagle's wing appeared. "And I use the Heaven's Fury to transform it into Chimera the Fearless!" The cat morphed into a large monster with three heads: eagle, goat and lion. (2400/2200) "Attack the citizens!" "Activate trap!" Mokuba retorted. A hole opened under Chimera, who fought valiantly, but only managed to stay half out of it. (1200/1100) "Sticky Trap Hole halves the attack of your monster permanently." "Now I summon United Resistance, in attack mode, I also lay two cards face-down!" United resistance showed several armed people hiding in an alley. (1000/400) "I..." Hermes started. "First, I uses your standby phase to activate Gathering of Heroes!" Mokuba Interruupted. Several knight appeared in the center of the field. "You can't have a Battle Phase on this turn!" Hermes had evidently underestimated his opponent. Indering his play, he was preparing one heck of a big move. "I sacrifice my Chimera to summon Hades, the King of the Underworld!" Hermes announced the summon of his favorite monster. (2450/1600) "And now, I summon the Fleeing Citizens!" A third group of people appeared, chased by what appeared to be royal gards. (600/600) "And I activate the Strong Revolution trap card!" one of the peasant, a resistant and a citizen joined together, irradiating with blue light. Hades exploded in bits of data. "What is this thing?" Hermes asked. "Strong Revolution forces you to discard all the cards in your hand and destroy all your monster on the field." Mokuba quickly explained. "Now, I can attack you directly with all my monsters!" The United Resistance went first, but they were suddenly stopped by a wall of flames and burnt to a crisp. (4000->2600) Mokuba looked over in surprise as Chimera the Fearless appeared in the middle of the smoke. Hermes smirked. "You are not the only one with little tricks, Mokuba! When Hades goes to the Graveyard, I am allowed to bring back a monster from there." Hermes looked at his angered challenger. This was going to be good.

OOC: My very bad... Mared was almost at the point indicated on his map, which he burried in the pouch at his belt. He'd completely changed clothes for the sake of visibility and only kept his fool's hat. As he walked out of the forest in a large clearing, he found himself surrounded with various people. Apparently, the whole realm's court was there. Years of living in the palace had him know who where actually in charge anywhere, and he spotted two all-knowing-looking Elders accompanied by a Magician of Faith, a Dark Magician Girl and a Seiyaryu. He recognized the Magician as Faith, the disappeared guardian, and growled inwardly. The Stern Mystic walked up to him. "We've been waiting for you." he stated. "That I can see. Another person was supposed to join me here, is he/she there already?" "I don't think so. I am Drail, member of the Elders of Kraal." "And I am Mared of Dryd'n, knight of the Order of Awaiters, But I am sure you know that already. Would you mind telling me why I was sent here, since apparently my help was never needed?"
