1. Excellent. Lovable. Just one question. Ginny, why "Raekos" ???
2. Many, many powerfull people are weird. Now, the problem is: How do these people get elected in the first place???
3.
Originally posted by Transtic Nerve French call them "fried apples"...
Here in Quebec, we use Patate Frite (Fried Potatoes, very rare) or just Frites, most often. I don't see the use to add French...
Originally posted by treton_noir the french word for "apple" is "pomme". the french call potatoes "pomme de terre" or "apples of the earth". actually, come to think of it, the only term i heard them use in reference to fries is "frit" (sp?). its pronounced like the english "free".
Right. It's Frite actually, and pronounced free-te. And the word oversea is, as I just pointed, "patate", which may come from potatoe. Now, the whole issue is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Few days ago, me and some friends had a good laugh about some old man in Florida who wanted said French fries renamed all over the country, so when I read that one, I just laughed my head and *** off...

I don't like the way you put the pills. Their design is nice, though, very nice.
5. The equip is Electric Skullcap, I think, the three monsters were Cyber Raider, Fiend Megacyber and Reflest Bounder.
6. After some though, I finally decided to have a go at a Card of the Day/week thingy. Thefact his, I think a card of the day will most likely be a bit too short, so I'll have to make it a card of the week, which I personally wouldn't like. The main idea is: I'll give a card with my rating and thoughs on it, plus any rulings pointers I can, than wait for your opinions. In the end, I'll compile the ratings. Our first card will be a nice little bugger from Labyrinth of Nightmares: Bait Doll (LON-096) -BAIT DOLL -Normal Magic -Force the activation of 1 face-down Trap Card. If the timing of the activation of the Trap Card is incorrect, negate the effect and destroy it. If it is not a Trap Card, it is returned to its original position. After this card is activated, it is placed into the Deck (not the Graveyard). The Deck is then shuffled. This baby will see quite some play. Why? Because as of yet, the really dangerous cards to spring are few: Ceasefire, Imperial Order, Just Desserts, maybe Gravity Bind. Okay, Royal Command, Mask Of Restrict and some others in Labyrinth of Nightmares too, but springing them at unwanted times, and the fact they aren't gonna be used that much makes them a small worries. Most of the times, you will destroy a Trap Hole, Torrential Tribute, Shadow of Eyes, or counter trap before it's used, You may reveal some Offering to the Doomed or MST, but then You'll know what lies in the darkness... --- It is to be noticed a recent ruling was made that you cannot chain the targetted card to Bait Doll, nor chain to said activated card, all of which only makes it better, and it keeps going back to your deck! Paying any cost the activated card may have is also optional. And finally, activating Imperial order doesn't negate Bait Doll, because it was never chained. --- I'll give this card a 4 out of 5, it's a nice reusable card that won't fall prey to the now popular Kycoo and usually put your opponent in a lose-lose situation. Add to it that it's a great annoyer, and you've got a great card.
7. The entry is nice, though, just like the first banner, it's a bit too harsh to my tastes. Also, said banner is just not enough readable. The second baner is definitely cooler, IMHO.
8. OOC: Eh, it can't always be the same day, even in the digital world... Kensuke awoke to the light of the sun in his face. A new day was coming and he did need that night of sleep after such a day in the Digital Work. A slight pain twinged in the back of his head, but he shrugged it off. He glanced at his clock (He didn't use the alarm for obvious reasons) and jerked up, grabbing some clothes and his schoolbag. Late, he was terribly late! He ran out of his bedroom in front of his surprised mother and out of the appartment. En route, he felt his cell phone vibrating in a pocket of his bag. That's mom wondering where I was yesterday... He still hadn't told his parents about the Digital World. His sister only knew because she regularly happened to see him sucked in and out of the computer. He coaxed the phone out and turned it on. Instead of the regular picture of his mother on the phone, some movie of a battle between an immense machine monster and a pink furry dragon. In the corner, was that a young girl? This was a call. And not a welcomed one at that. "Not now, please!" he screamed in frustration. ------- A woman yelled and fainted at the sight of a teenage boy seemingly absorbed through the cell phone he was holding and disappearing in a blinding flash of light.
9. For all I remember, he was not made dead in either version, but he was certainly not in good shape after Yami Bakura took his eye away.
10. well, you CAN also build a deck around it, but that is terribly hard.
11. Well, maybe I was wrong then. Since, T'was nice to point out a simple thing like that. see ya for my next weird yu-gi-oh though!
12. Since Cyber-Tech Alligator hasn't yet been released in japanese, I have to be doubtfull of that card being on Card Destruction. Also, how can you say "This is correct."? Do you have an official source? U'll have to admit Skull Guardian is possible, though.
13. Just making some fun decks, I suppose. It can be a good distraction too, so your opponent won't look too much at your monster, but just search desperately for any m/t removal while you prepare some nice combo.
14. Well, I am saying the picture looks like Ookazi (j. Midnight Inferno). Now that i look at it, it's more like a messed-up Eye of Truth mixed with a Shadow of Eyes O.o Also I'll have to say Gravekeeper's servant is closer to the picture for the magic card than either Infinite Cards or Ground Collapse.
15. I've recently wondered wheter or not the cards on Card Destruction were actual cards. After a close look, here are my conclusions: we can clearly see 4 cards: a normal monster, a trap, a ritual monster and a magic card. The monster card is clearly a level 5 WIND monster. After a close look, it's Harpy Lady Sisters. case closed. The ritual monster card looks a lot like either Crab Turtle or Thousand-Eyes Restrict. The trap card is tricky. It looks like Ookazi, but Ookazi is a magic card. My guesses are Two-Pronged Attack or Just Desserts. Finally, we see very little of the magic card, but I think I can state it looks a lot like Ground Collapse. That was my Yu-Gi-Oh! Two cents.
16. one of my favorite combo is to play jinzo #7, equip it qith a black pendant, attack with it before tributing it to cannon soldier for a grand total of 2000 dammage.
17. It's not that much. I've seen RPG post longer here. It certainly looks good.
18. The monster will always be sent to it's owner's deck/hand/graveyard. If you target your opponent monster, you get the whole effect, but the monster is shuffled back into your opponent's deck. I think if the monster return and it has no place to go, it goes into your opponent's hand.
19. Kensuke looked around. Many reptiles had been injured in the battle to protect the town. He had been helping Chameleomon as much as possible, but that wasn't much. The Flarelizarmon squad had appeared in the midst of battle, and it had helped much repel the Andromon. Apparently they had found nobody but a Deramon, who informed them of the moving of most bird digimon. "Kensuke, over here!" Gotsumon called. Kensuke whirled around, tripped over his own foot, fell over, and disappeared in a flash of light. "WhaAA?!" "Kensuke!" Gotsumon yelled. "Oh gosh." The Ankylomon he'd been helping blinked. "What happened to him?" he asked in disbelief. "Aren't you going to search for him?" "Nah" Gotsumon shrugged. "Not worth it. Happens all the time." More blinking. "What do you mean?" "He just went back to the real world. For some reason, he can't control when he travel back and forth." ------------- Akane finished typing her Chemistry report when the screen sudenly flashed bright orange and a yelling teen fell from it. "AAAAAAATTTT??" Kensuke finished his word. "Well, brother, I don't think I've ever been that close to you before" his sister snickered. Kensuke noticed his face was burried into the 20-years old girl's chest. He quickly pulled himself off his sister andblushed madly. "I'm sorry. I... Errr... Ah..." "It's okay, but if that happens again I'm gonna trash you into that screen." Kensuke gulped. "So, what's new in the other world?" "Nothing, just some random battle with berserk machine monsters." Kensuke walked out of the roon quickly before his sister freaked him out by turning the music on. OOC: Don't worry, Kensuke'll be back soon enough. He just can't by himself. If you need him in, just get him back in some weird way. He can travel through satellite TVs, hand-held videogames, Palm OSs or whatever you feel like.
20. actually, you can and you can't. 1. It's effects opnly actiavtes if it was flippd first. 2. you can not bring back the same Spear trough it's effect. You can bring another spear cretin (or any other monster, as a matter of fact) though. 3. you cannot do 2 tribute summon the same turn. Now if you did a special summon with it (toon, ritual..)...
21. That one is in Stairway to the destined.

Exodia

In my area, there are about 4 pieces constantly traded back and forth among the 10-15 duelists, though a box buyer is said to own 3 sets (and nearly any other cards besides the secret rares)

Medabots

To me, Medabots looks much more humorous than many other similar shows. It's, for example, much less "dramatic" than Beyblade sometimes is.
24. I assume it's at least named in the show sometime. Someone else suggested Gelnia and Goblin Zombie. Dunno which is which, though...
25. Kensuke cursed dunder his breath. the Flarizarmon Squad was on it's way to Cliff Island by now, where they'd be of no use. "Gotsumon! now!" "Right... Gotsumon, digivolve to... Golemon!" Golemon lowered his hand so the master could climb up to his shoulder. He turned around and quickly rushed up to the Gates. The Andromon were still trying to force them open and several Triceramon attempted to hold them off. Golemon grinned. "Get out of the way!" He called for the troup of Agumon and other reptilian rookies holding the doors closed. They parted him a way and he turned to push on the door with his back and all his strength. "Good, now they aren't getting in any soon." a female voice noted above them. Kensuke looked up. Furora was there, standing atop the wall, along with some Kiwimon who were bombing out at the Andromon. "Hey Furora! How's it going?" Kensuke jumped. Grabbed the edge, he climbed next to her. "Fruit juice?" he offered her, all the while gulping down some "No thanks. Could be better. There's another battle in the forest to the west. Some of my forces went there to help." "Oh, that's not good." A Gabumon archer standing nearby indicated. "The west walls are not very well garded." He talked with a couple others Digimon and they ran off. "Something is wrong, though..." Furora saidd thoughfully. "What do you mean?" Kensuke asked. "Well, If Haku wanted to take over this place, he could just have sent an army of MetalTyrannomon, yet He only sent like... 30 Andromon. Which is certainly enough to have a good battle, but I doubt they could invade the town. Haku knows that." "And your point is... ?" "Haku is trying to keep us busy while he prepare to stab us in the back." Furora stated in an hollow tone. "And the worse part is, Ryouka il walking right into it."
