1. I never have been a big fan of digimon, so I don't have a clue what they look like, but you seem to of put alot of time and effort in to these and it sure was worth it they look very good! :D
2. My pleasure, what are the three heaviest pokemon? In the right order please! :D
3. What do you want from a beat-'em up? Anyway you usually can change the settings to make more rounds or an unlimited time limit bout. Still I'm not sure if this will be a game for me. I've got one fighting game for the Xbox and that will do me for right now! The effects are still amazing! :D
4. Sorry to be impatient but who is right Lady Katana or are we all incorrect. Just trying to keep this quiz flowing with an indication of who is correct. Thanks. :demon::toothy:
5. That is correct apart from it's Tesshu and Ayame, but near enough in my books. Your turn .. :demon:
6. Wow, good guess. Anyhoo in Tenchu 3: Wrath of Heaven's plot who has returned from the dead and who are the other two characters that join him? Bonus: What company published this game?
7. I don't have a clue, but to keep this going I will take a guess. I think this is blue of some sort - azure?
8. Well you have to do mafia missions with Salvatino (sp?) for the second time round and there will be a
trick
mission you will have to do. Basically you do missions with on someone on your map under S and then when the S disappears and comes back again that's when the bridge will stop being under construction. After that there is another island as well you can unlock after doing a series of missions. It is a pretty good game especially of its time! If you really want to get over the bridge and your extremely impatient I suggest you use the flying dodo cheat if you know it. It should be on most cheat sites, although it's not great when you fly over the bridge, because you still have to do the missions in the end anyway! Hopefully that helped. :toothy: This will most likely get merged with the GTA discussion by the way.
9. That one I don't actually know and I like to class myself as a big Ninty fan! :( I'm guessing someone chose him to for the job out of other candidates, but that is a very vague guess. Could of been something to do with family, ah I will stop making a fool out of myself. Anyay people still try and answer: What's the plot of Resident Evil 0? Bonus: What mini-game do you recieve when you complete the game and what's the objective for both of the characters in the mini-game? (James already answered who are the two main characters- Billy Coen and Rebecca Chambers).
10. Yeah it was LP and I think that one is pretty serious and more down to earth, not like the usual AAF that are funny and crazy. Just more calm to mix the album out I guess with different types of tracks. You should download 'Attitude' if you haven't heard of it! :D
11. Well Blinx: The Time Sweeper is an original platform game in my view. I find most platform games are original, but I suppose on some you learn some moves down the line like the Crash Bandicoot series. In the images I've seen this game has number of different monsters which is good. The vacuum is pretty original until Luigi's Mansion came along lol. A pretty cool cat with good graphics for a platformer! You shouldn't really put this type of game in a shop to be honest, keep to beat-'em ups in a shop it's easier to get to grip with! Platformers don't usually have much of a mission to them except simply excape the level alive, but apart from that if you don't have a clue what your doing I can see how you struggled. There is many other things like VCR control symbols at the bottom of the screen. They are the time controls, I will stop the rambling though because explaining this confuses me!
12. Yes this is true Vercetti. This sounds an amazing game, it's got my two basic ingredients to be considered a worthy fighter. 1. Realistic (very in this case), but still have over-the-top combat. 2. Superb special effects! Tao Feng: Fist of the Lotus delivers a killer blow on both I would say by the looks of things. During each fight you will see clothing tear, blood spill, bruises swell and even bones break!!! *Cringes* I heard there is also some fancy special moves, but maybe not as decent as MK:DA's fatalities! You just never know though. It sure does look amazing and I'm basically repeating Cyko's thread starter but you did ask Vercetti, so you were oblivious to what Cyko had posted obviously. Other information: The game is based on two Chinese clans of superfighters seeking to uncover the secrets of immortality. The combat is fast paced with authentic fighting styles and interactive arenas that are completely destructable. Throw an opponent against a wall or a column and they'll take extra damage as a result of the imapact. Now this sounds extremely good as fighting games goes, but still I find these type of games have a short lifespan unless there is plenty of things to unlock or extra features/mini-games! None the less this looks a classic beat-'em up! :demon:
13. Hi Alice, I'm Grant. My name isn't so self explaining, but there you go. My friend Break (or as most people on the boards know him to be called weh) kind of got me started. He kept sending me the link to OB and at first it was all a blur to be honest, but then Alexus_Bing explained it to me, therefore leaving me here where I am today on the boards. I enjoy to post, so I hope you will have a fun time as well, whether or not this thread is valid or not. Luckily I had my friends on here although I think my friend Karl (sosolidsnake) has been long gone or simply lost.
14. Well when you complete the game it won't make a difference to the Live levels, hence now it's 'levels' supposely, not just one. I've only seen images for one, but if you find any from searching the web please post them in! Oh by the way I'm on level 2, go me lol.
15. I would but I don't have a scanner of any type to be able to get the screenshots from my magazine on the computer although there probably is sites with images and information. From what I hear the level I've seen images on will be the first of many levels able to download, but you need copy of the game to do it (incase you didnt know). There isn't much detail on how the downloaded levels will fit in with the game itself, the only details given or well shown is that Sam appears in a naval seeting and features infiltration of a nuclear submarine. :) I doubt that has anything to do with the game itself it's just extra levels. Has anyone else got any information on it?
16. I still haven't put much thorough gaming in to Splinter Cell yet, but I was wondering has any one seen images of the Splinter Cell level from Xbox Live? It looks alot bigger and better than I thought it would! :)
17. At the moment I'm just having fun trying to get everything on Mvs.C 2, but I'm sure my fun will die down after a period of time. So after all this hype about Substance it aint even that good or well that much of an improvement? *slaps Solid Snake* Next Xbox game: Panzer Dragoon Orta
18. Well I enjoy listening to AAF's music, I find it very good in some aspects. Over here in England they have released 'Smooth Criminal', 'Movies' and 'Attitude', which I think is nice cool and calming song if you haven't heard it. I also have heard 'Wish' from a Tony Hawks game (THPS3 I think) and maybe a song from a film down the line, but just classifying how they are not a one hit wonder! Who knows if they are going to release another album (prooving they definetely are not a one hit wonder), I'm guessing they probably will from reading an interview with AAF and the Kerrang magazine however many months ago. :D Oh yeah and I think AAF's dance move are plain funny.
19. For some reason I find scary movies terribly funny and this I also found hilarious. I always look at the Scary Movie (the film taking the mick of horror movies) side to a horror. Of course if this was reality I would of soiled my pants by now lol. It's a pretty good film I must say and I really wish I could see the sequel, maybe I will rent it out when it comes on video. I also thought Six Sense was a bit more jumpy and very cleverly done! :)
20. I was advised not to get Substance for that very reason, because it's basically the same, but with little extras trying to make it a longer game. Sorry that post was a bit rushed and yes I know its third person shoot-em up kind of game. I don't mind M vs. C2 it's beginning to grow on me. :toothy:
21. I can't say I'm the type that enjoys the element of suprise that's why I should really steer away from stealth games. I think the sniper rifle is good, but I just like to run into the scene of the battle and kick some serious ***! M90 Shotgun, MA5B Assault Rifle and the Plasma Pistol will do me fine (yes I know it may come as shock to all of you, but that is an alien weapon; Gasp!). :)
22. The post could of given reasons, but this is best Xbox moment and if that is Yu Law's best moment then that's fine. I never stated it was just cut-scenes, but I find usually that best moments come from FMVs. Videos from both Fable and Panzer Dragoon Orta show good things to come! :D
23. Next time I go shopping and I see it for £8 I will buy it then. I decided not to get Substance in the end and I some how tangled up with Marvel vs. Capcom 2. I haven't got a fighting game for the Xbox and it was 20% off as well as a £5 off voucher, but I it was probably a stupid idea. Luckily if I take it back I will probably end up with getting my money back. First impressions; very fast and furious action, plenty of characters and pretty darn confusing (I should really read the manual every now and again). Graphics; not very good at all, but I suppose there not supposed to be in this game. I hear Capcom vs. SNK 2:E0 (sp?) would of been a much better choice in that type of fighting game. Oh well.. To be honest I could of got Hitman 2, but I'm fed up of getting easy 1-player FPS games with not much of a lifespan. Well I'm happy I've got Resident Evil 0 at least and well also now I've got another multiplayer game to play with mates. :) I need to conjure up some money to be able to get other big releases ARGH!
24. I read an article on Gunpei Yokoi not so long ago. Yokoi left Nintendo in August, 1996 to set up his own toy company, Koto Co., in Kyoto. Didn't he have a tragic death like sometime in October? A victum of a traffic accident if I remember rightly, his car got sideswiped by another car. That was very unfortunate after just leaving Ninty! :(
25. I'm not certain, but wasn't it Hideki Konno (sp?)? The names are correct by the way.
