Oooooooh you just need a higher quality stock image, and possibly need to make the text easier to see somehow ^_^.

I felt like posting something, so here i'll post this quick remake of a older sig I used to have a while back. Some of you may remember it as the same RK stock picture was used in my old sig. Well it's not done... yet... But the again, it's pretty much done I guess -_o. I probably won't get time to finish it for a while though... mainly because i'm working my *** off on this one layout i'm making. :rolleyes: Oh yes and "u r z u . s e v e n" is the other screenname I use at one other forum I post at but long story short --- that forum is now officialy infested with spamaholic 5 year old losers -_-.

Kinda weird what is it lol x_X. You've gotten better but I think you just need to post more work in general.

They're okay banners, nothing special graphically but they are more of a old school kickback. Instead of going for all this fancy stuff your making little sigs of things you like. So in that sense they are very good. :p

Interesting stuff to say the least out of the banners I'd have to say I either like the Sanosuke banner or Hide banner the best -_o I have yet to browse through the rest of the images though...

The only program I used to create this wallpaper was photoshop 7.0 ^_^. All the text is a font called "dirty ego" or something like that, and the basis for the background is a airbrushed layer. On top of that is another layer of gunk and gloop that looks a little bit like blood x_X yep yep... I dont expect many people to like this wallpaper unless they've seen Gundam SEED but atleast I got one reply. I was planning on making a wall with Mobile Suits from Gundam SEED but there are like no good pictures out there.

I got bored today so I decided to make myself a anime wallpaper "whoop-eee". I uploaded it to my deviantart account and wrote a short description of the image here so please click here to view the image ---> [url]http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/3304992/[/url] Hmmm... well I guess that's all, and oh yeah remember to click on the thumbnail to view the image at it's full size :p. ... and yeah I almost forgot the wallpaper is 1024x768, if anyone wants a 800x600 wall just ask and I can resize it and upload it for you. And sorry to those of you with higher resolutions my video card isn't that great and all I can go up to is 1024x768 although if I make another wall I might try making a wall that is 1600x1200... only time will tell though :rolleyes:

This is alot better than your "angelic.vision" the top right part of the image turns me off, but the bottom half of the image gives me a idea for another all brushed piece... now if only I had time to make graphics... eh anyway, the little bit of grungyness I see doesn't quite mesh well with the picture, but this piece is better than most if not all of your old ones. :p

Here are a pair of quick avatars I created for some of my friends who are creating a website ---> [img]http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-5/196300/Tav.gif[/img] I say "quick" because that's what they are i've been pressed for time ever since school began, and I also agreed to make 6 or 7 of these for all the different staff members for the site :P. So I figure as long as they don't look like crap I'm happy =], they're also more eye-candy than anything else not much graphical complexity although making the text in the trigun av was quite a pain in the ***. I personally like the second (attached image) better. And the glow on the .hack av is kind of weird so I might change that. edit: I also just thought up a few things for the trigun av which would probably make it look better, like if instead of just fading out the text I'd make the text scroll out of the screen yet fade out at the same time, but as cool as that would be... I just don't feel like doing it.... too lazy x__X. Oh yes and comment and criticize as you please. And one last thing -_-;' [b]for those of you who check this thread and do not reply I shall cast upon you a voodoo CURSE!!![/b] so don't just look reply god damn it -_____-.

It's quite intresting what 3D prog are you using? I used to experiment with 3D progs before but i'm just too lazy to download one again x_X. You should definatly add a thumb or something to the hand it will look better that way :P. Also is the chest thingyt supposed to be see through?

Well what I mean by typo was just your text layers :P... Hmmm if you go look at this sig of mine ---> [url]http://otakuboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=30265[/url] and notice the design and what not around the text that's personally just my way of creating a "typo" but it's stuff like that, that appeals to me. *The typo on my sig would be considered the entire text layers aswell as the little design around the text* yeah it's kind of confusing because a "typo" is also when you mispell something but that's just some basic gfx terminology for ya =o.

It's exactly the kind of thing I like![/quote] It's aquired taste as the banners you make become more and more complex you look back on your old work or others work that looks similar to your old work and then you truly see what's "wrong" with them, I'm not saying you can't like the parts of his banner that I don't but about 99% of the people who have made graphics as long as me will side with me and not you :P.

Until you have seen Seisouhen I can not expand upon that because giving away huge spoilers isn't my style read the end of the manga then watch Seisouhen you shall then see what I mean on how Seisouhen essentially takes the ending "a step further". :p

Hmmm like with your other banner the sig size itself makes the stock image look kind of funny and cut off =\ also work on your typos don't keep the text so spread apart try moving them closer together and maybe add a few vector lines/ a design around them. I also have the same problem with the BG as before the black and white stand out to much and aren't blending with the red. =\. For your next sig really just try a different image size you need more width to your banners =]!

Why thank you Haze :0 but upon further examining the sig, i noticed that i might have to tweak the border a little and that part of the blade of the sword still has a little bit of the purple-ish background that I had to edit out -__-'. pffft... I hate being a perfectionist >_

Your steering in the right direction with this but the text placement needs to be imrpoved and change the "K.K.C" font =\. Also I can't tell whether you used color dodge or burn but stray far away from those two blending modes the excesive blackness doesn't look good and neither do some of the really white/bright spots =o. The stock image also looks a little weird but that can probably due just fine maybe if the sig was wider instead of longer the stock image would look better, just my 2.5 cents :P.

I personally don't like it too simple, you've got a ways to go before you make a wallpaper that i'm going to use keep trying though. First of all theres too much white space, the text is also quite plain (in a bad way) and the whole texturizer filter or whatever you used for the bg just doesn't appeal to me at all. The little boxes with the different parts of Wing Zero is a good idea but they also need a great deal of work a techy type scheme would look good. Also if all the pictures in the wall were centered it would look far better because atleast the wallpaper would strike a sort of balance. Eh not to be rude or cruel or whatever but the only thing that I like about the wallpaper is the Wing Zero picture and that's because the picture was from the "Gundam Project" one of my favorite Gundam Sites which sadly closed back in 2002 =\... Anyway keep experimenting with different techniques on smaller images then try to move up to bigger images and then eventually wallpapers. --- Just my advice from my experiences ---

In Rurouni Kenshin Seisouhen parts of the Jinchuu arc are animated, but the real purpose of Seisouhen was to show the relationship between Kenshin and Karou in a new light and to wrap up the entire RK legacy. Seisouhen has a few reanimated fight scenes from the T.V. series mixed with some new stills, but it only contains a very small part of the Jinchuu arc --- mainly the fight between Kenshin and Enishi --- Many people are dissapointed in the Seisouhen OVA only becasue they fail to realize that Seisohen was never designed to make up for the never animated Jinchuu Arc it just takes the Rurouni Kenshin ending one step further than even the manga did x_X. Hope that clears stuff up.

Yep that is right I created a new sig for myself, it's not done yet as I have yet to finalize a few things on it. Some of them being ---> - Whether to ditch the grid or not. - Whether to expand upon or get rid of the white "aura" effect behind Rumina. (I probably should put more detail into the "aura" if I do plan to keep it). - Whether or not to animate the banner. - Whether I should change the (somewhat bland) font, to a "script-styled" font, a "grunge-punk" font, or leave it as it is. etc, etc. It's the little things that count after all x__X. Now I guess I should talk about the sig itself :P. It's basically my tribute to the great anime series Tokyo Underground and it's main character Rumina Asagi --- who has the unique ability to manipulate the winds. =] that should somewhat explain how the quote is related to the whole sig. Okay rate? questions? comments? ... food? :] do whatever you'd like some feedback would be nice though.

My Advice: Instead of producing so many banners, spend time on one banner and make it look good. Work on the little things... the subtle things.

The second one I originally liked, but there's only so much you can do with pixel dots :P.

But that's besides the point, i'm basically showing everyone a sneak peak of a layout i'm making for a site at which I was just recently promoted to a webmaster of yey go me =P. There are actually 2 different layouts I was creating this first one attached to this post is the one I'm going to finish and would like comments on, the second layout which I will post in this thread later I don't quite care about anymore because I have already decided that I am not going to finish it :P. Once again I'm sticking with more simplish schemes like that of the splash page I posted not too long ago. *banner ideas would be greatly appreciated*

I only use stroke when I'm doing a double outline. But err anyway that's besides the point the way I listed a long with the ways Piro listed are basically the same. Eh but I guess that's besides the point... Hmmm... your three graphics are quite plain, but i guess there really just experiments right now. But out of the three so far I like the 2nd one the best. :cross:

Hmmm the legs look a tad bit too long. The pictures kind of look like a grown up Sakura from CCS. For some reason I like the way the shoe-boot thingys look =] good job.
