Well there are obviousley subtle things that he did to the picture, but err Kenji b0yee heres a tip, stop worrying about different styles and just make graphics. I never concentrated on making a style, but after a while you just have a tendency to do things a certain way and people start saying you've got your own style *_*. Anyway I don't quite like this picture =\. If you've noticed this whole monotone color scheme type thing is something i've strayed from and personally don't like anymore.

Eck it's a tad differentish, but the purple gray combo isn't really working =\.

Tentative title for the new piece is "Falling Autum", and is really just me experimenting more airbrushing techniques (i'm trying to airbrush some planets =D).

I'm really planning on getting into airbrushing and a kind of Photoshop painting now, since it's the only thing that can be done in Photoshop 5.0 =\. Abstract is a total pain in the *** to make in Photoshop 5.0 and making layouts, splashes, etc. are just getting boring. Oh well comments are appreciated I guess :therock:

ay!! Mages aren't cool, samurai's own. You people need to get around to drawing some people with swords =D. Well anyway... It's a quite intresting picture I haven't seen many like it =]. The design on the robe is pretty neat-o.

eek *___* i like except forthe tips on the hair =\. Maybe if the robe was a redish color like the tips on the hair It would look better. But whatever ^_^', I like the hilt on the sword, although the sword kind of looks like a cross between a Katana and a medievil knights type sword -_o;. Nice drawing though.

oh-ya, that did turn out quite well, Blade of the Immortal -_o; that's about the guy who's cursed with those blood worms or something and must slay 1000 men to break the curse right -_o.

I like this version alot better, but... maybe make the symbol a tad smaller, and theres an awkward brightness on the left side of the image =\ if that could be changed/toned down a bit that would make the image look better. I know my "make it lighter and darker" comment on AIM must have been confusing but it's hard to explain what I'm trying to say :rolleyes:.

You've gotta have a "escape" of some sort =\. For me playing soccer is my "escape" I just go out in my backyard dribble the ball around. take a few shots, but the whole time i'm really not thinking of soccer, i'm just thinking of the things around me; what's bothering me. It's kinda a silent way to let it all out. You should try something of the sort, I know it helps me concentrate and just sort out my life. o_o I can't really relate to you, so there's not much I can say. But hopefully something I said can be of some help.

Proper grammar should be a given it shows intelligence, and the all-mighty ability to spell rofl... I also checked out DevilForums... hmm there are some nice things there but the people voting on the graphics are a little weird (no offense), I looked in some thread Eye-Kyu (sp?) vs. Dmack, and Eye-Kyu's render/model of that face was clearly better than those random filters Dmack used -_o;. I'm sorry that just had to be pointed out.

-_o; g-f-c. K-f-c. There's a one letter difference right there. And all the respectable graphic designers would say GFX not GFC, but then again most people take the time to spell something such as that out since it makes more sense. It's a fact not an opinion =P.

I can understand the Yu-Gi-Oh manga getting banned or people talking **** about that -_o; because that is a tad more "satanic" in teh beggining. But err yeah. Also I can't get over the fact that in the english yu-gi-oh card game "sacraficing" was changed to "tributing" god damn it it sounds so gay >_>' but the reason it was changed was because people were afraid of all that satanic mumbo jumbo people would make up.

It's part of the reason why they butcher anime so it's politically and socially "correct".

I say I like this banner, a little plain though =\. Maybe if you can bring out the background a tad bit more. And make some weird symbol above Kaisuke.

The only thing that looks even remotely like airbrushing is the center of the image -_o. And if that's what he means by airbrushing then he hasn't truly found out what airbrushing is. True that is one form of airbrushing, but it's only the first step... Errr also -_o; most people don't airbrush at the beggining, they airbrush at the end to smooth the image out, or they airbrush while their making the gfx. So err yeah basically the only thing that looks like it could have been airbrushed is the center white glob part :-P oh well hopefully Kinetic will be back with an answer. Also!!! Please say "gfx" not "gfc" lol GFC sounds more like KFC >___>!

Well I can see the whole wavy thing in this sig, it's just been overused. Some people consider it a "style" I for one do not =P.

Font placement and style sucks -_o;, change font; get away from n00b fonts =P. Also where the hell is the airbrushing, please elucidate upon where and how you used any airbrushing. Also fade out the scanlines.

ay not the crystal effect o_O. The crystals are jaggedy, it looks a tad icy, but would look better with less of that black-gray, and some darker blue in some places.

That's true but the true ending to Kenshin is revealed in the OVA Seisouhen :P. It was quite dissapointing though how the manga and anime stray from one another, the first time through when I watched the series completly I was reading fanscanned manga aswell -_o; it makes for a nice comparison, but not just with Kenshin, with any anime.
