Val turned back to her demon half, who was now smiling evilly, watching them like they were her entertainment. "And what are you smiling at? I'm very sure I'm not funny." She grinned at them. [color=red]"Why do you want to get rid of me? Don't you know that once I'm gone, you'll die?"[/color] Val looked at her in horror. "What do you mean?" She chuckled a little. [color=red]"Valkyrie, you are so naive! I'm what keeps you alive. A normal human would have died decades ago. You do realize that don't you?"[/color] Val gulped. She hadn't thought about that. "Dmitri, what should we do now?"

OOC: The tournament's in Japan, right? "Can't we go in now?" Quita was standing at the front door of their new home for the next few weeks. "Come on, you have a key, don't you?" Kaya sighed. "Yes, but it wouldn't be polite to just barge into the house. I'm waiting for Ryan. If he's not here soon, then we'll go in and wait there. But we will not go into any of the rooms, understood? We're not at my house anymore." "Fine," she answered. "Controlling b****," she muttered under her breath. "I'm pretty sure Kaya can here you," Jon commented. "She might even kick you out of the house. This could end up like 'The Real World'! It could be every man for himself!" Kaya put a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry Jon. I won't kick you out unless you do something incredibly stupid." "Then someone better pack his bags..." Quita looked over at Jon. "Hey look, there's Ryan and Sakura!" Glad for the distraction, Kaya got out her key and opened the doors for everyone. OOC: If KnightOfTheRose or Ohkami want to add anything in between, feel free.

Terri pulled back the curtains from her window. A scream had pulled all of her attention from the book she was reading. It was only Vanishing, so she closed the curtains again. She was about to pick up her book again when someone knocked on the door. She sighed, ruffling her wings in her annoyance. She put on a smile and answered the door anyway. "Who is it?" OOC: Okay, anyone can come in right now...

Sais are like a pair of daggers. I think I fixed everything. Just give it another look.

Arrianna watched Wilhelm closely, thinking on what the others had said, wondering if this really was the right decision. "And you, how do you decide?" She looked up to see Ryan standing before her, his hand extended in friendship. "I have personal reasons for being here. Though I don't have an army, or support of any kind, I can give you my knowledge and a promise of loyalty." He smiled kindly at her. "That is all we ask." She returned the smile and took her place with the others.

Name: Maria Lebeau (or Ria for short) Age: 17 Character: Jin Kazama of the Tekken Series Powers: [i]very[/i] improved fighting abilities, and the ability to take on qualities of that demon for revenge if she's killed(I didn't make this up, blame Namco), a thirst for revenge Description: very light brown skin, dark grey eyes, short spiky black hair, 5'7", black tattoo on her left shoulder. Wears black pants with a flame on the right leg, a black tank top with flames on it, red fighting gloves with silver colored brass knuckles, black boots with a two inch heel. Bio: Maria is a very outgoing person who sometimes has a lot of aggression. She plays fighting games to get rid of said aggression. Late one night, just before completely beating the entire Tekken Tag Tournament game, she saw a bright flash. Ignoring it and turning of the system she went to bed. Dmitri stood at one end of a large stone chamber. Around its edge, paths branched off in every direction. All around, candles burned brightly in enormous iron candelabras(sp), some as if they were near the end of their life, others as if the had just been lit. Yet none of them ever went out. "Dmitri?" He turned to see Val, dressed entirely in white. "Valkyrie? Why are you dressed like that?" She looked down at herself and sighed. "I don't know. But I feel very human right now. Can we hurry up?" She led him down one of the many corridors. It, too, was lit with candles. "My demon half should be around here somewhere..." He followed her into another chamber, smaller this time. In its center stood a figure dressed completely in black with its back to them. [color=red]"I thought you might never come in here. Did you want to play some more?"[/color] It turned and pulled back its hood. It looked almost exactly like Val(well, duh!) except its eyes glowed a dark, malevolent crimson, had no ears, and wore an evil sneer. [color=red]"I get to kill two lovers with one blow. This will be fun..."[/color]

She had lots of friends and was usually at the mall or some place else. One day, she played the game on a whim and became addicted. Maria changed into Annika one night after falling asleep in front of her computer. She had a dream that she had been killed and woke up as her character. She no longer remembers the dream. Bio: Annika was cast from her village after accidently setting fire to the village leader's wife. She stayed in the general vicinity and used her powers to help defeat an attacking army. They welcomed her back with open arms and hearty apologies, but she declined. She did, however, accept the broadsword and training they offered her. When she was finished, three years had passed. She has left her home, searching for others who have the same abilities.

Val looked at him, slightly scared by his 'reassurances' but laid in the circle anway. Dmitri soon followed. Before she fell asleep, she whispered "I'll always love you Dmitri and you could never fail me" and held his hand. She sank deeply into a dark dreamless sleep.

Val took a deep breath and steeled herself. "I'm ready. What do I do now?" She looked down at the circle, wondering what it was for. [color=red][i]How dare you try to do anything to oppose me!? I'm the reason you're still alive![/color] You're also the reason I tried to kill Dmitri. I'd like to be able to spend one hour with him where you don't try to play! [color=red]You don't want me to play?[/color] [color=blue]Of course she doesn't she never did![/color] [color=red]You little...[/color][/i] "I think we should do this as quickly as possible. But one question. What would happen if I lost control of the demon half in the middle of this?"

She hugged him tightly. "Thank you so much! Come with me." She led him to the clearing, hoping the spirits would be there. They were. Maybe they had been following her the entire time... but there was no time to contemplate what may have been. She talked to them privately and returned to Dmitri. "They've agreed to help us, but they say something may be following us. I told them to ward it off as long as possible unless it's Saraneth. Is that good enough for you?"

"Dragons burned my home to the grounds with myself and the rest of my family inside. My brother and I survived, but later died. I swore revenge against them and have been searching for a way to exact it ever since. I haven't gone accusing someone who might not even be responsible." [i]Yes you have,[/i] Her conscience answered. [i]You don't know who set that fire. You just assumed it was dragons.[/i] "You have no reason to be suspicious of me...yet." She turned and walked away, hoping the meeting would begin soon so she could leave.

"I refuse to let you dismiss me that easily and you shouldn't be so rude. Now answer me, why are you so against the DragonLords? What have they done to you?"

She stopped again, not because she was tired. [i]Why won't I let him try to help me?[/i] She turned and ran back to him as fast as she could. "Dmitri, I don't know if I should be doing this, but I'll try to let you help me."

Arrianna was still watching Wilhelm. [i]I see... His impatiency could be the death of him...[/i] She quickly and quietly sheathed her sais and walked over to him. "Hello, my name is Arrianna. And you are...?"

I'll be joining, but seeing as my person would be female and my fav game character is male, there could be a problem... I have to find another character...

"I'm sorry," she whispered, trying to regain some control. "I'm sorry for everything we've done to you. Please forgive me." [color=red][i]What are you doing?! Let me kill him! You don't really love him![/color] No, you're wrong. I do. I love him with all my heart and will continue to do so until the end of my days.[/i] "I can't stay with you. I have to go." She kissed him again and ran.

She let go and stood, wiping away the little trickle of blood in the corner of her mouth. She growled a little, but stopped and smiled. "You're a very bad boy, Dmitri. I thought you said you loved me. Isn't that what you said?" She walked up to him and kissed him gently. "Don't you love me anymore?" She stepped back, still smiling. "But I don't know if I still love you." She pulled back one clawed hand and aimed it for his heart.

"Why aren't you afraid of me? Everyone should be afraid of me. I could kill you any way I want. I like slow and painful. Very slow. What do you think?" She stood and turned to face him. She smiled even more as he drew his weapons. "No no no. I don't fight with weapons. It's not as much fun that way." For the first time, she extended her claws. She let out a small laugh and jumped for him. Pinning him to the ground, she took one claw and ran it slowly down the side of his face. As the scar started to bleed, she bent down and licked away the blood. "See?" she said, leaning back some and giving him a little room, "I just want to play. But I'm not done yet."

After what seemed like only a few minutes, Val woke up suddenly. She looked around, saw Dmitri, and smiled. "I finally get to play..."
