She heard him call out and hesitated. Maybe she should just go back with him and hope he really could help... Yes, let me play with him... She started running again, as fast as she could push herself to go. Unable to keep this up very long, she headed for the clearing where the spirits should be. They could hide her until this was all over. Before she reached her destination, she collasped in exhaustion, unable to move any further.

Val sighed and looked to one side. "You really don't want to know. Trust me." She shuddered at the thought of telling him about other times when she had lost control. "And sleep if you want, Saraneth. We should still be here when you awake." She waited a little while, hoping he would take her advice. "What would your demon half do to me?" She sighed again. "Probably torture you to a very slow and very painful death. And you wouldn't be able to take care of yourself. That's why I kept moving farther away from you at the stream. She knew you wouldn't be able to resist. I don't know what to do." She felt tears coming, but held them back only because of her pride. *** I know what to do. Let me play with him. You'll have just as much fun with this one as you did with all the others. I know you will. What are you talking about? She wasn't having fun, you were! We never should have done any of it! Then why did you let me? You knew what I was going to do. I tried, but... Valkyrie wanted to play too! She always has... It's a part of who she is. You've known it the entire time! That's why Danutela is our uncle! He's not our uncle! The only reason he's considered such is because of our father and no of us like him, even you. That's only because he never let me play when I wanted, only when he had a battle to fight. He was using you, can't you see that? *** Val couldn't take it anymore. She stood and ran as far away from them as she could. She'd lose control very soon. The least she could do was protect Dmitri as much as she possibly could.
-
"Dmitri, maybe we should follow him, just a little behind though. I want to know where he's going. I don't feel right about this. We haevn't even asked if we could join him." *** WHY are you asking? Demons don't ask! We take what we want when we want it! She obviously wants to ask. And if you don't keep quiet he's gonna know and probably come in here! Good, I can finally play with him... You are beyond any shadow of a doubt the most perverted demon we have ever seen! No, you forgot our uncle... He's not our uncle! Now keep quiet. He can probably sense us! So? I still want to play... This is getting out of hand... "Dmitri, I need to tell you something. You know how you're both Dmitri and Deteria? Well, I'm having the same problem. The demon half and human half of me are fighting again. Over you. But they're more of my subconsciousness(sp) than a split personality. Do you understand? I need your help...again."

Arrianna eyed Wilhelm as he walked into the compound. He seemed to be the only one with the gaule(sp) to walk in with his weapons showing. But she shouldn't talk. Her sais were carefully hidden in her long, loose sleeves. There were many ways to improve one's rank... She was also one of the youngest people there. She felt as though no one trusted her, especially after learning of her family's past relationships with dragons and dragonlords. She stood slightly apart from everyone else because of this. She waited patiently for the meeting to begin.

OOC: Whenever Val has an inner conflict, the demon part is in red and the human part is in blue, if you haven't noticed. I should have mentioned it earlier... IC: "I suppose..." Val answered him softly. She wasn't as sad to see Orien go, but he was still a friend. ** What are you DOING?!? You're not acting like a proper demon anymore... Even though he(Dmitri) is cute... Can I play with him? Is that all you ever think about? We're in love with him, remember? He's not some toy! But I want to play! This is all really her conscienceness's(does this make any sense?) decision. You can't change what she thinks! What are you talking about now? For being a part of the same person, you never make sense to me! Whatever. I should have given up reasoning with you a long time ago... *** "Should we go with him? He has helped us a lot over the past few days."

She grimaced a little. I wouldn't have asked for training if I knew I might have to fight so soon... She shrugged off her insecurities and followed him through the streets of the city, looking down at the pickpockets and beggars with disgust. "Do we have to stay here long? I don't like this city very much..." Another thief reached for the pouch at her side and she slapped his hand away. When she looked up, Pritz had stopped... OOC: Now you add the rest.
-
Aria smiled at him. "Just do me one favor. Don't treat me like a child. Are you ready to go?" She stood and strapped the sword onto her back.

Val was about to move away further when the human half of her kicked in. What are you doing to him?!? Can't you see he's afraid of water?! You must be an idiot to do this! I just want to play. And it's not our fault he's following. He must want to play too. Val just stood there biting her lip while this inner conflict went on. He's almost to us. Just wait here and swim to the bank. But I WANT TO PLAY!!! the demon half whined, but Valkyrie had made up her mind. She waited for Dmitri and swam back to the bank with him, making sure nothing happened. "I'm sorry. I don't know what I was thinking."
-
"I'm sorry." She continued eating, thinking about what she might be able to do to help him. Her eyes suddenly brightened. "I can make a map to help you find that guy's son and a way back home!"
-
OOC: Hmm...I hadn't actually thought about that one much...but she's human. And I never mentioned it before. She's loosely based on a character from my Harry Potter fanfic, who's loosely based on Vash from Trigun. Oh yeah, and she's only 19. IC: Aria sighed. "I come from a long line of mages, enchantresses, warlocks, etc. Everyone expects me to be the best, especially since I mentioned that I can speak to the dead. My parents have sent me to school after school, then to their close friends. But each one ended up dead by my hands. Diana was supposed to be a last resort, because she had no enemies. I still didn't want to take the chance, so I ran away. I don't have friends or loved ones, just me. And the dead."
-
Aria tried to stop him. "I can pay for things on my own." He ignored her anyway. She turned to her breakfast and dug in as politely as she could manage.
-
She turned and smiled mischieviously at him. "If you haven't noticed, I prefer to be clean when I start a journey. You can come if you want." This is wrong and you know it!, her human half yelled at her. It had always seemed to have an over-developed sense of right and wrong. She ignored it, undressed, and jumped into the stream.
-
She followed at a short distance, wanting to listen to the sounds of the forest. In the distance, she could still hear Dango and Rad fighting, as well as the flap of Sanareth's wings. As they continued, she heard the rush of water over stones and smiled a little. "Dmitri, wait for me. I need to take care of something." She walked towards the stream.
-
They went downstairs to the same table as the night before. Aria put down the books, feeling she had forgotten something. "I'll be right back, I forgot my sword!" She ran up the steps, picked up the sword and ran back downstairs again. She put the sword beside her and sat down, still smiling. "Why are you so happy?" "I have a feeling today will be a good day..."
-
She blushed, not really expecting her thoughts to be heard. "Uhh...umm..." She glanced at the ground then looked at him. "You know this probably won't work. We've both had problems in the past and I can't really get over mine. I hope you understand." She was still blushing and turned away quickly before he could see. "But I'll still travel with you."
-
Aria sat on the edge of the bed for a while, then went to sleep. It was a very fitful sleep, plagued by all the death she had caused. She awoke the next morning and went to Pritz's room, after changing and carefully doing her hair. "Yes," he said, after answering the door. "I'm ready for my second lesson!" She smiled widely.
-
OOC: Umm...what he said... IC: Val watched him, then looked back at the fueding brothers. As interesting/funny as it would be to watch them fight, she's rather be with Dmitri. She stood and followed him into the woods. She caught up with him easily but didn't say anything. If you're reading my thoughts right now, I want you to know that I love you...

"Well, here's all the spellbooks I have with me," she handed him two large, leather bound books. "I'm not sure if I'll need them or not, but if you want, you can look through them. I can't really use any of these spells. If there's anything else you might need from me, I'll be in here. Just knock first. Bye now!" She waited patiently for him to leave the room.
-
OOC: I'd like to know where exactly I am, just for my own sanity. Last time I checked, Kaya couldn't stand, and there for couldn't run away. Someone, please clarify for me.

"Uhh...sometimes I know some of the hardest spells in existance, and can do them, without having learned them...ever. And most of the time, it ends up killing someone. I don't mean for it to happen, it just does. I was hoping to learn some control or something. Last time I changed a squirrel into some kind of demon-thing, I'm not exactly sure what is was. So..uhh..that's it. It really is this time."
