I finished a halfway decent drawing of phoenix so here it is. Don't critize it though. I already know I can't draw.

Kaya merely stared in shock. She walked away from her hiding place and over to Sesshioko. "Who is that? Is she okay? I'm sorry I didn't come. I've never really fought before. Uncle Sessho and my parents made sure of that." "Who are your parents? And where are from that you have never fought before?" "Inu-Yasha and Kagome are my parents. My name's Inukaya Higurashi and I'm from the Modern Era." He stared at her in amazment. "How could you get through the well?" "I've had some training." "From who?" "My uncle, Sesshomaru."
-
Val watched him for a while then turned to Orien. "Since you're so good at magic, could you dry me off? You know what, forget it." She took off after Dmitri. "Wait!" She called after him. He stopped and waited for her to catch up. "I need to tell you something. But I don't want you to be mad at me. Every new moon, I become fully human." "WHAT?!?!" "Please, just try to understand. I don't know how long I have but we have to find some place to go. It's only for the one night." He peered into her soul again. She wasn't lying. And he could see that terrible things have happened in her past, other than becoming human. Maybe he'd ask her about those later... "Dmitri, what are we going to do? Will you help me?"
-
Xaphania lit another cigarette and drove away. Something odd was happening. She thought about this the entire drive. "Where exactly are you going?" "What?" She said, drawn out of her thoughts. She looked up and realized she had driven out of the city and into the surrounding suburbs. "I need to think. You can drive. I don't care where we go. Just make sure we're back to my apartment by dawn."

'Well, someone didn't wake up on the right side of the bed this morning.' Kaya sighed then yawned again. He was kind of cute though.... She found herway back down the waterfall, not wanting to jump with all her food. Eventually, she was back at the bottom and found Vau. "Hey, do you want anything to eat? I was gonna cook something. Hello? Vau? Hey, are you still here?" OOC: Short again...
-
Kaya yawned again. She had reached the waterfall just as dawn began to break. She looked around, seeing no one, and decided to find some place to stay. Since it was too late to set up a camp, she looked for a way around the waterfall to the village. She eventually reached to top of the cliff and found that everyone was still asleep. She wandered around, hoping someone would see her. OOC: I know it's short but I can't think of anything.
-
Val sniffed again, hoping to catch his scent. "He went downstream. Come on." She dived into the creek and swam skillfully with the current. She paused and stopped herself, looking back at him. He was still standing in the same place. "What's wrong with you? Either jump in and come with me or follow on the bank. It's not like you're afraid of water or something." She swam back to where he stood and pulled herself out of the water. "I think I understand." "How could you? You obviously can swim." "Since you think I don't understand, tell me." "Soon, you'll know all my secrets." "No, that would take a lifetime. Now tell me."

"Are you sure?" She sniffed again, then realized she had never seen an angel before. She soon realized why. She screamed and threw him to the ground as her hand began to burn. "I should have known something like this would happen..." she muttered. "What is it?" Dmitri must have known she never do anything like that normally. She looked up and roared in her rage as the angel ran. "I'll get you for this!" "What happened? Calm down and tell me," he repeated. "Because I'm half demon, I can't touch an angel. If I do, I start to burn. If I was a full demon, it could have been much worse. We should track him. He's not pure." "Do you mean he's a fallen angel?" "Yes. I could feel it. He fell from grace a while ago." "And how do you know all this?" "For once, just trust me."
-
"I don't think he's human. He smells...different. He was in to forest once, many years ago. I wasn't able to track him then but it is the same one." "If he's not human, than what is he?" Dmitri was slighted annoyed by the fact she hadn't told him this before. "Well, to tell the truth, I thought you could smell him. I've been pretty much alone for a long time. I'm not used to many other people being so close." "I may be a ranger, but I'm not a hunter. I believe that's your field of expertise." "If you..." She woul have continued if she had not seen the flicker of movement in the corner of her eye. She reached out and grapped the human by his neck and held him a foot in the air. "Where do you think you're going? I'm not through with you yet." OOC: I hope none of you have forgotten the Val happens to be half demon. She's quite strong and her senses are better than a normal human's. Don't think I'm twisting things in my favor.
-
"I'll go with you. I feel like I know this one." She sniffed again. Maybe it was him. She had smelled something like this in the forest long ago. He hadn't stayed long, but he had moved quickly. Dmitri might not be fast enough. They stalked quietly back into the forest. Val kept her ears perked for any sound. There was a small movement to the left. She was about to tell Dmitri when she realized he already knew. They moved quietly to the spot. Val drew her sais and Dmitri pulled away the brush to reveal... "A human?"

"Hi, everyone! I found Sulphy! Umm, Kabito, why are you blushing? Anyway, Chance, I didn't look for Damien, but I..." Chance looked at her. She couldn't have...did she? "What exactly did you do?" "Well, I saw him and I wanted to apologize for...something and we talked and I told him...something and he changed but...I don't think he wanted to hurt me. I think he wanted to make me happy, sort of. I have to go. Tell Old Kai I'll find him later. Bye!" She flew off, hoping no one would follow. ~~~~~ Xaphania finally realized her mistake. If Damien had wanted to kill her, he would have done it before. She raced back to where she had seen him last. "Damien? Are you still here?" He heard her and flew to the top of the cliff. "Are you here to taunt me more? Or maybe you want to tell me you love me and run away again? Is that it?" "No. I'm sorry for before. My friends had told me that you would try to kill me, or at least hurt me in some way. When you changed, it just kind of scared me in a way. Look, I came to tell you there is a way for me to be with you. I've never told anyone this before, but I think I can trust you." "I'm listening..." She looked carefully around and whispered her darkest secret in his ear. OOC: Okay, I'm gonna pm shinobi so he knows and mighty kai already knows what it is. I was gonna wait, but now is as good a time as any.

Valkyrie looked after Dmitri for a second, wondering at just how many secrets he had. Maybe it was time for her to tell him some of her own. "Dmitri, I need to speak with you." "Yes?" he replied, not slowing down but at least looking at her. "Don't look at me like that. Anyway, I'm...sorry about that bit of...I'm not sure what it was, but sorry. I feel kind of lost." "You should be apologizing to Orien. Though..." She hushed him. There was another sent in the air. She sniffed. "What is it?" "There's someone new nearby. I'm not sure what he is, but it's kind of familiar... Do you think I should do something about it?"

OOC: Inu, Cecilia does kind of need her puppy and backpack.... IC: Cecilia reached down into Maelstrom's petting him a little to calm him. "What are you doing?" "Maelstrom, my puppy, is a little scared. He's never been out on water before." The puppy wailed a little. She bent down beside his cage. "It's okay, Mael, this'll all be over before you know it." "Will he be okay?" "He'll need to come out every few days, but other than that he's fine." "Why did you bring him anyway? Did it occur to you that he might not live?" "He will. He's my best companion. I would never let anything happen to him." Cecilia looked back at the town, which was now little more than a speck on the horizon. "How are we moving so fast? The wind isn't blowing that hard?" "I thought using my powers might help us get there faster. I've made the tides turn with us." "Nice trick. If we happen to meet any lightening storms, I'll try a little something of my own." They continued on for a few minutes when Cecilia felt a slight breeze across her face. She ignored it, passing it off as a nearby storm.

Kaya yawned and checked her watch. It was only about five, so she kept going. Fifteen minutes later, she checked the map. Now there was a small dot labeled(sp) 'Inukaya'. She smiled. 'Thanks, Uncle Sessho.' It seemed as if she were going in the right direction. She yawned again and started looking for a place to camp when she recieved another mental message. This message is to everyone who has been contacted by Yallren, Ruler of the SpiderClan Region...This is Vau Tekton, I must speak with you all...Meet me at the waterfall...I'll explain everything later...Just get to the waterfall! 'Hmm, guess there's been a slight change in plans. The waterfall is close enough. At least now I won't have to find a way around it.' Kaya took out her Farmer's Almanac from the Modern Era. According to it, she had a few more nights before she became human. Then, she tried to acount for a few hundred years and, if her calculations were anywhere near right, she only had one night left. She ran through the forest, heedless of her fatigue.

I think I'll be evil, but I have to work on my sign up. It'll probably be done by tomorrow. Save a spot for me!

OOC: Let's see...welcome Orien and Duo. Num, why...just, why? Anyway, here's my post. IC: Valkyrie stared at Orien blankly. "My name is...uh...um...Valkyrie? Why exactly are you here?" Far from sure, she stared at him blankly again. 'I must look like an idiot.' "You do," Dmitri said. She shot him a dirty look. "By the way, we have another companion. He should be nearby." "Well," Orien began, "to answer the young (another dirty look from Val) lady's question, I amon my way to the next kingdom to see if anyone is in need of my services." "Well, I do need something to sharpen my weapons on." She drew her sais and smiled. "What do you say?"
-
OOC: It really doesn't matter to me. If that's what everyone else wants, so be it. IC: Valkyrie looked at Dmitri. He seemed more distant, colder than he had before. "Is something wrong? You seem, I don't know, further from me." "Really?" He wondered if she had more secrets. "There is nothing wrong with me. But if you truly want a family, reconsider." "Please, don't read my thoughts. It's...disconcerting." They continued on as the sun neared it's peak in the sky.
-
OOC: This is NOT a failing RPG. Don't get down on yourself. "I do NOT fight for the Dark. I merely want revenge. He is the reason I'm down here! Don't you see it?" "No, I don't. Why do you want so much revenge?" "I...it's not important. If you must fight me, go ahead. Life doesn't matter to me as much anymore." She drew one of her sais and pressed it into his hand. "If you feel you have to kill me, do it now." With that, she returned to her mortal form and waited.
-
"Don't listen in on my conversations again. It's embarassing." She still felt a slight sadness at having to leave. But if she ever wanted her revenge, she would have had to leave some time. But suddenly, she didn't want revenge. All she wanted was, ironically, a family. She wanted to take care of something. She could have told Dmitri about this, but it didn't seem very appropriate. Maybe she just wanted the responsibility of a family. It would give her a purpose in life. While thinking about all of this, they had emerged from the forest and were walking across a prairie. "Is something wrong? You haven't said anything." "What? Oh, nothing. I'm fine," she lied.
-
Valkyrie smiled at her old friends and calls to them. She kneels down to their levels as they walk slowly over. "I'm very sorry I have to leave you," she whispered. "I'm going to continue my journey. Thank you for all you've done though. You're the closest thing I've ever had to a family. I'll come back as soon as I can. I promise." One of the spirits sniffed at the tears that had begun rolling down her cheeks. She wiped it away. "Don't worry about me. I'll be fine. I have Dmitri to look over me." Suddenly all their heads snapped upwards. She had felt the eyes in her back for some time. "He's the one who will protect me. Don't worry." She stood and walked away, daring not to look back. It would only hurt more.

"Do you think I don't know the animals of this forest? I've lived here for several years. They would never pull a cheap trick like that on me." She sheathed her sais and began eating the apples taking only small bites and watching his reaction closely. He merely smiled. "Do you think I would try to poison you? Hurry, or we'll leave without you." "I have to tell the deer I'm leaving. They might be worried." "There are no deer in this forest. Only ghosts." "I know. They protect this forest and I have tried to help them while I have lived here. They've taught me a lot. You can come along if you wish." She left and headed for the clearing were they usually stayed.
