[COLOR=royalblue][SIZE=1]Due to popular demand and after much procrastination I have finally decided to open up another of my latest and greatest art. I'll start this thread off with a simple splash I made of the Scarecrow from the new movie Batman Begins. I was somewhat rushed to make it, due to the fact that Paint Shop was freezing up on me at random times, which caused me to have to remake this three times before getting a chance to finish it. Let it begin. [FONT=Trebuchet MS][COLOR=royalblue]What is there to say? I've always really liked your style and you always do an awesome job, the same goes for this set of banners. Although I don't know any of the bands you listen to the banners still rock. To be honest I've never found a time when I could point out something I didn't like about any splash you've made. I really wish I could post some constructive critisim here but I have none to give. Just keep doing what you do best. Oh my favorite is the one you made for me, lol big surprise.[/COLOR][/FONT]

Hmm well here's a few things I should point out. There are a lot of spots you forgot to crop out in between her hair, tisk tisk Kitty. Also there is a spot in the bottom right hand corner that is a brighter red then the rest of the background. I told you on AIM about those earlier but It would seem you didn't correct them. I'll update this later and edit my opinon on the second piece. Right now I'm a tad busy.

How could you... You've fallen to the bleak blackness side of [I]Photoshop[/I] after everything I've tought you the ways of Paint Shop Pro, You turn againest me. The last one is quite nice. The cropping job is smooth but I can notice a hint of red I suppose this means the orginal picture has a red background? It's a picture of good quality. What I don't like is your chose of font and color background. The font just doesn't seem to fit at all with your picture It's bleack blackness and very "techy" looking. The background, although it is very bright it looks well but if you look closely you can see it's quite sketchy and you might want to soften that up but then again, I guess it doesn't matter. What do I know about photoshop. The color...Well perhaps a different chose in font could change my look on things. Here's another thing... [IMG]http://img135.echo.cx/img135/650/whoops2dj.png[/IMG] Notice the little red tint in where I've circled? It might just be my eyes dying out on me but I don't believe that belongs there. Acutually I notice quite a bit of red tint left behind. [B]6/10[/B] Keep trying and you'll do well with future photoshop banners.

I would try Yahoo image and/or Google image search.

[SIZE=1]It's 3:54am and I have just returned in a limo from the midnight viewing of Revenge of the Sith. I'm tired to no end so I can't say I'll really go into much. All I have to say is that the movie was insane. [spoiler]The Emperor fighting Yoda, to the duel of fates theme[/spoiler] was just adrenaline rushing. It also had some quite funny comic relief with R2-D2. There was some dialoge in the movie just made you smirk and go "Heeehhhh Ohhh" If that really made ANY sense. [SIZE=1]Well.. Smooth banner, Very neat. The fits quite well although a text effect should pretty much finish it off. The drawing is very bizzare indeed. The picture is somewhat dark but I guess that can't be helped. I haven't seen a drawing like this from you before, Very orginal. That's all I really can say about that. [/SIZE]

Maybe if you choose a light background and dark font color it would of stood out also. Yeah, I was just going to say that cropping out the jug and brightening it would appear better, before I read your post throughly. There are a lot of different ways you could of made the jug stand out better. Try playing around with that next time, See what you get.[/size] [SIZE=1]As for the new Metriod one, I was wondering where that when was when I looked through the banners the first time. This one, like the other Metriod banner is pretty cool, I can't really critize anything about it. Job well done[/SIZE]
