His left arm is pitch black from a ritualistic practice of placing ones limbs into sunlight, to gain immunity. [b]Weapons:[/b] A Rapier that has been blessed in holy water the phrase "Mors Certa, Hora Uncerta" is engraved into the blade, two Khukris that have pitch black crosses imbuned in the blades. As a testament to his clan he also uses a cross, and a few vials of holy water. [b]Powers:[/b] Lucifer's powers stem from spiritual energy, as the Ijuuj call it. Though it is commonly known as Chi.[/color][/size] [size=1][color=darkred]Dark Cross: Crux's most infamous attack, build up a surge of energy within his body, releasing it through one of the crosses on his hands. The blast itself is black though it glows white. It maintains the form of a crucefix, burning its way through enemies. The shape renders all but the Ijuuj, human and most willfull Vampires weak making it hard to dodge or block.[/color][/size] [size=1][color=darkred]Light of Sol: Creates a build up of energy within his body, before releasing it out as imitation sun light. The light, is able to temporaly blind humans and vampires alike, as well as giving the latter a small degree of burns.[/color][/size] [size=1][color=darkred]Blood Sacrament: Cuts a cross into a part of his body, blessing his blood so that it has the same effect as holy water.[/color][/size] [size=1][color=darkred]Exile Flare: He manipulates the blackened tissue of his left arm, making it turn to a glowing silver. While it glows his arm is unbreakable as well as molten hot. This drains his spiritual energy fast to maintain over long periods.[/color][/size] [size=1][color=darkred][/color][/size] [size=1][color=darkred]He also has become immune to sunlight, through ritualistic exposures to light. [size=1][color=darkred]Kyoske layed on his bed quietly staring up at the ceiling. His room was dim from the black curtains that hung over his windows. Kyoske's eyes moved back and forth from the corners of his room, to the ceiling fan in the center, gently turning. Time seemed to flow by as he just sat there, thinking about everthing, not dwindling on a single subject long enough to gain anything. As he neared the front doors he slipped on his shoes, locked the door and was off running. "I'm supposed to be there in 10 minutes, I souldn't have laid down, I don't want to keep the others waiting either...............If it was for them, who knows where I'd be right now." He though as he turned down an alley and sprung over a fence. It was kind of ironic, that when he first met his current friends he was doing the same thing he was doing now, though for a reason he cared not to remember. He had heard about people being young and stupid, but he must have taken the cake, but that was behind him. Slowing to a walk Kyoske tucked his hands in his pockets as he walked through a park pretty close to the Shrine. As he walked he noticed a girl in front of him heading for the shrine. [size=1][color=darkred]It really depends for me. Sometimes I'll cry, sometimes it will just piss me off as Sting put it. Though other times, I find myself busting into mechanical laughter. It's kinda scary cause it's at parts where people are like getting massacred. I guess it depends on the situations in the anime, as well as the characters. Like at the end of Berserk, I was about ready to get wild and beat some ***, though it made me sad and sick too. I am very emotional areound people that are close to me, and I would cry in a movie or something. A guy that can cry openly is just more comfortable with himself in my eyes. Odin I like alot just because I really like Norse mythology, same goes to Hades and Greek. [size=1][color=darkred]Lets see, For a Brawler type game as you put it I would definately use something like Jeet-Kun-Do, or the hand to hand style of the Shinobi, Tai-Jutsu I believe it's called. But I really value speed in most things, I find it very usefull. Also styles like Jeet-Kun-Do and Taijutsu really involve using your opponents momentum against them. It is very fluid and basically an offensive defense. Also Eddie's style in Tekken comes to mind lol.[/color][/size] [size=1][color=darkred][/color][/size] [size=1][color=darkred]For a slow paced Fighter, I tend to try to find a character that is fast and strong. Hit them fast and hard, while trying to dodge, avoid or block their attacks. I haven't played a slowpaced fighter in years it seems.[/color][/size] [size=1][color=darkred][/color][/size] [size=1][color=darkred]For weapon based fighters I find it the hardest to choose. In Soul Caliber I like Nightmare alot because of his brute strength, also he seems to boister decent speed. I really do like most of the sworded charcters, particularly the Fencer and the Katana. I think most sworded styles are well balanced and easy to use. I also really like Volvo's unpredictable style, even though it is rather hard to fully utilize at first. It is unpredictable, fluid and fast. Cervantes dual sword style is good as well, they all seem fairly well balanced in my eyes.[/color][/size]

Tetra is comprised of Three main continents; the largest Provectus which is in the Northeast roughly the size of Eurasia, The Southern most is called, Niveus and it is a snowy, harsh enviroment, it is about the size of Australia. On a side note, there has not been contact between the continents in the last 200 years, and little knowledge of them exist anymore. [b]The last where the RP starts is Camur, a set of two islands, a crecent shaped one with a small island within the curve, they are the second largest continent about the size of South America, and Greenland. The island is called Camur Brevis, while the main continent located to the east is Camur Amplis, they are located in the Southwest. Amita is a port city on Camur Brevis and is the city that we are going to start or at least the people that choose the Vigilo (you can be elsewhere but you are going to have to come here or let me know if you want to meet up later and we can discuss it). Amita's twin city on the mainland is Frater, which is roughly 2 days travel by ship. Magic technology is fairly advanced though you only find it in cities. Most small villages use simple technology or magic for things. People get around using magic if they can, but more commonly walking. There are guns that shoot magic bullets which drain stregth from the user, they can be blocked and dodged too. Aslo as they shoot magic rounds they can be magically blocked, reflected and absorbed etc.[/color][/size][/center]

What if you could push the limitations of that to the extent of merging a persons essence to a glyph, thus making them a part of the glyph, as well as the glyph a part of them. Their control over that glyph would be unparralled.[/color][/size][/center] [center][size=1][color=darkred]Though society cringed at the thought of having beings even more powerful and adept at magic than the current glyph users. Plus the idea of tampering with ones heart and soul, the essence of themselves, one false move and the person will only be a shadow of thier former selves of worse. The only ones who seemed interested at all were warmongers and kings for military applications. [/color][/size][/center] [center][size=1][color=darkred]With the idea outcast from public interest the researchers attained subjects, mainly young orphans though a few were older, though they suffered from some form of ailment that made them easy to attain. They chose Eleven elements to bind to thier subjects, Fire, Ice, Water, Lightning, Light, Darkness, Earth, Star, Ghost, and Metal. The task left a tattoo like mark on all the subject though they varied in aestetics they where are remotely the same. The marks bore the symbols for the glyph the subject had recieved, the color changed in light as well as glowing lucidly occasionally. Keeping them under watch for a week they studied them, thier healing had improved as well as a correction of all physical defects. Finally they released the subjects back to the places they came from, none bearing the knowledge of what just transpired. Researchers were sent to live with, or observe all of the subjects. They would make sure the subects did not abuse thier powers and if they did correct their mistake, they would be the watchers, the Vigilo. [/color][/size][/center] [center][size=1][color=darkred]They lived normal lives though weird things would often happen around them, such as fires starting from thin air, a light consuming darkness and other unexplainable events, though the researches knew all to well the reason. [/color][/size][/center] [center][size=1][color=darkred]This normality came crashing to a halt when Durguist learned of his power. No one knows how he learned, but he soon disappeared and was not seen or heard of for five years. Apon resufacing he was changed, he wore armor that looked as though is had been grown or worn by the gods themselves. He carried two oversised long swords which he wielded as though they weighed as much as a dagger. One more thing had changed about him, he had developed a strong hatred for technology. He believed he recieved his power over metal to accomplish this, that he was no mortal but......a god. Taking action he assumed the throne of Argentum Diluculo by means of assasination, threats and lies. Once in power he ordered all technology to be destroyed, effective immediately. It was done and whoever opposed met a fate of death, or what some would consider worse prison. Though with his task complete he still felt unsatisfied, he saw that more towns where still plauged by technology, but still people in his own city would not switch back to the old ways leaving Durguist with one conclusion. Those who do not accept his laws and those who use, build and sell technology must be eliminated. [/color][/size][/center] [center][size=1][color=darkred]The researches became aware of how much of a threat he posed and took action they began to plan, they came to the conclusion to round up the rest of the subjects and try to use them to fight Durguist. Though one member by the name of Prodo thought that if he told Durguist that he was not a god, rather the result of an experiment including 10 other people. Acting alone fearing regection he took this information forward, at first amusment was triggered from Durguist, but this soon turned to shock when the man commented about the mark on his chest, something Durguist told no one about. He began to question Prodo about the others and thier abouts, but to no avail. Frustrated he threw the man in the dungeon, and ordered the information to be tortured out of him. While he waited he came to the conclusion that the subjects where instruments of god, he would find them if he had to tear the shirts off of every man, woman and child himself. When the Vigilo heard of this they where dismayed at the thought that now time was thier enemy as well as Durguist. [size=1][color=darkred]Hi, I thought I would dedicate a thread to Pilot Candidate, or Candidate for Goddess. I saw the anime on Adult Swim way back in the day when they had Tenchi, and Outlaw Star. Anyways I really liked the series, though I never got to watch it all until recently when I picked up the complete collection. The thing is the show isn't so complete, it only has 12 episodes. I don't know what happened but I've liked what I've seen so far and it bugs me it is so incomplete.[/color][/size] [size=1][color=darkred]For those of you that don't know, the story mainly revolves around a pilot trainee Zero. Zero is part of G.O.A. which trains pilots which are pretty much all male (there is a reason for this), giving them them small chance to become on of the 5 Goddess pilots, basically the elite and frontline of the battle. Each pilot is assigned a Repairer Candidate, who are pretty much all female to my knowledge. The repaires keep the mech's in good condition, while also providing support for the pilot. All in all the show switches back and forth between Zero's training and social life, and the 5 goddesses war against victim.[/color][/size] [size=1][color=darkred]The CG in the show reminds me alot of Geneshaft, lol the story does a bit as well in some aspects. Quickly he hid though a passing group of kids saw him, right as a cop was searching the area. The cop found him hiding and was about to take him into custody when one of the kids stepped in and said he was one of their friends and they had been playing hide 'n' go seek. The rest of the group followed the lead and the cop let Kyoske go. From that point he has hung out with the kids. His behavior has improved quite a bit, he is still makes alittle bit of trouble here and their, as well as liking mischief but nothing major. [size=1][color=darkred]Ya 20 minutes for a FF boss is rather long, most of the time boss battles only last about 10. Which is nothing compaired to the final boss battle in The Legend of Dragoon. His magic defense isn't too good, do that was a downfall but his attack is pretty strong, as well as his claws having some very usefull added effects. Also his Chakra skills I found to be very useful, he has alot of good skills that can aid characters, which is what made me choose him for a second attack person over Steiner. Rusty's swordskills weren't all that great till late in the game, and I never could make it in time to get Excalibur.
