[/FONT']
I won! Yay! ^^ It's a first! ^^ So I guess this round will last around four days too. ^^ -ArV

Maybe. But we still don't know how he could've gotten it. And if it is a different type of Mangekyou Sharingan, does that mean Sasuke would probably have a different version of the same eye? Maybe it's different for Kakashi since he's not of Uchiha blood. T_T I want to see Hinata. I want to see Hinata. I want to see Hinata. I want to see Hinata. I think TimeSkip Hinata will be stronger than TimeSkip Neji because of what we see in the filler episodes of the Anime. [/fanboy obsession] /me is looking forward to the next battle arc ^^ -ArV
As far as I can tell the Anime is staying with the Manga, witch is good. I hope it stays like that.
The anime follows the manga pretty closely until the after the Sasuke chase. Currently the anime has diverted from the manga and has not skipped
three years yet.
This is probably done to give the manga more time before the anime catches up again. What is commonly known as the filler episodes are being avoided by a lot of fans, even though (or maybebecause) they contain new and original stories that only further the story in terms of charactrdevelopment. -ArV

r2vq replied to FlamesFirebrand's topic in Noosphere
You guys are so lucky. ^^ I wish I could go. That'd be so cool even just to see him. *drools* I'd bring every Mario product if I could. He's a legend in my eyes, leeegeeend. -ArV -
It's that time again, my dear children.
I wanted to make a joke about this but I was beat to it by everyone else. ^^;;
A) Which aspect of OtakuBoards do you find to be the most negative/confusing?[/b']
Negative? Confusing? Nothing much. Though it'd be cool to have new skins. LOL.
B) What is your favorite aspect of OtakuBoards?[/b']
My favourite aspect is the focus on intelligent conversation. Most other forums are quite messy when it comes to this. -ArV

ChibiHorsewoman we all love you at Otakuboards. It's probably not the right thing to say but Picture Capture Game wouldn't be the same without you! And your crazy threads are always worth a smile! ^^ It was really a hard year and I thought I'd post mine. Just to say you're not alone. ^^ We can support each other emotionally lol. Mine was actually 2 years... Around February my parents were very happy and excited. Apparently my dad had planned out futures. A very bad omen. He said that as long as things continued as they were they'd be done paying everything off in a couple years. A month later my mom lost her job. She quickly became depressed and disillusioned. I was already having disagreements with her and the worsened situation didn't help at all. Around the same time my father started telling me about his days at work and how an American sister-company was screwing them over. He was fighting hard to keep protect his company. He eventually got fired. He sued the company but didn't get much from the settlement. We spiralled into financial difficulties left and right. Eventually we were evicted in December. Great Christmas gift. We had to move downtown and my parents sorta rented the upper floor of a friend's house. It was a dirty, dirty place and we weren't allowed in some of the rooms because of the dirt. One of the rooms was full of pornographic magazines and what looked to me like drugs. >_> The person we were renting from was high a lot of the time too. The worst part though was the mice. They ate through the plastic bags that we kept our food in and pooped on our beds. My parents tried to keep us sane by buying us gifts. My sister got an MP3 CD Walkman. They even bought a DVD Player and my dad got a new toolset. I don't know how they thought they could afford it though. He was evicted too so we got kicked out. This was in January. My sisters were at school but I was sick that day. Lucky me. The police gave me and the landlord (my parents weren't home) 15 minutes to evacuate. I rushed around in my pajamas grabbing whatever warm clothes I could find. I eventually found a sweater with holes in it, my pants and some dirty socks. The POLICE forced a SICK boy outside in a sweater when it was 30 below Zero. I also grabbed whatever I could for my sisters and my parents... Luckily the landlord knew a couple friends down the street that we stayed with for the afternoon. The next day I had the biggest fever I ever had. My chills were only stopped when I shouted to my parents and they layered 2 feet of blankets on me and then my dad lay down on top of that. My parents moved us into my mother's friend's house that evening but were feeling very guilty. They tried to get us out of there as fast as they could and into our own place. After a week of searching they found a house a bit closer to our schools. Unfortunately it wasn't ready and my parent's felt way too guilty. That night we slept in a motel. We eventually found ourselves in the new home but after everything that happened the adults were very depressed. They even thought about leaving Canada even though we've been here for 14 years. My relationship with my mother weakened. She yelled at me more and more and I felt like she was using me as a scapegoat for her problems. Eventually, after a stupid, stupid fight, that involved my father beating me, I left. This was July or August. I phoned my girlfriend and told her I was leaving home. She and her father found me at a bus stop. Her parents took me in and helped me get in touch with Social Workers. Now I'm on Student Welfare and have my own room beside theirs. I try to be good and respect them and they're very kind to me. My parents were apparently kicked out of the house I ran away from a few times. Now they're in a different location. My two younger sisters are with them. The worst part about it all wasn't even the poverty, my sisters and I could live like that. It was the arguments that I had with my mother and father. It was how my mother would be perpetually angry at me. How she would ignore my presence when I am there and scream about me when I wasn't in the room. How she would bang on my door until I opened it. Threaten me with a knife and then in the end, it was always my fault. And I was always the one who had to apologize. For whatever it was... leaving a mark on the dishes or for the rice cooker malfunctioning. Or for going straight to my room when I get home and hiding from that very experience. Yeah, anyway. Suicide? I've thought that pretty much since I was twelve. Sometimes I picture myself running downtown and letting my body freeze and rot to death... But I've rely on my friends a lot. And probably without them, I'd be there right now, rotting away. Things will get better. They always will. The only reason I'm here today is because when my friends told me to, I tried my best to disregard what my gut told me and instead I had hope. That and I distracted myself a lot heh heh -ArV

I was thinking the same way. Maybe he's like Sasuke. "I'll find my own way."
Besides, they don't look much like Itachi's Mangekyou Sharingan anyway. Do they?
-ArV
Radiata Stories is for PS2, not GC.[/SIZE']
Thanks. I'm not sure why I wrote that.
With that aside I'd like to point out the fact that unless you, r2vq, are referring to anime based games as imports only...Not only is it unfair, its unjust. You can't go ahead and say that an import anime game is the best if only a select handful of people have played it here in America.[/SIZE']
I disagree. Although it is true that Anime Games are not as available in North America as they are in Japan, my statement was only in reply to Killer7's remark that "thier hasn't been a single anime game above mediocre this genearion of consoles." Even if the games I'm talking about are only imports they still exist for this generation of consoles.
I also would like to point out the fact that Tales of Symphonia and the DDS games were not anime before they were games.[/SIZE']
They were not games based on Anime, but nobody actually specified what they meant by "Anime Games". They are games created in the Anime style so I suggested them. -ArV

Gaming What is your favorite and least favorite NES and SNES game?
r2vq replied to Violet Link's topic in Noosphere
AHAHAHA. Duck Hunt! I remember that! It was so long ago... T_T I had an NES for a while but my grandmother took it away and gave it to my cousins in the Philippines. Since I was upset she gave me a Sega Genesis. ^^ NES One of the games I missed the most when I lost my NES was a fighter jet one. I don't remember which one it was, but I'll have to assume it was Top Gun. A game that I didn't like so much, though, was Double Dragon. I found it restricting and annoying. SNES I remember for SNES lots of games. The game I would still want to play today would be Gundam Wing Endless Duel. That was fun. A game that scared me so much was that Shaq game. Shaq Fu. Are you telling me this isn't scary? lol. -ArV -
The sad part, thier hasn't been a single [/B'] anime game above mediocre this genearion of consoles.
I don't know how you can say that. Narutimetto Hero 2 for the PS2 was one of the most fun games I played with my friends ever. It's great as a multiplayer fighter and a one player RPG. Kidou Senshi Gundam: Ichinen Sensou (Mobile Suit Gundam: One Year War) was the single greatest Gundam game ever, and it's also for the PS2. Radiata Stories was a wonderfully fun Anime-style game for the Gamecube. (Edit: Radiata Stories is for PS2. I don't know why I wrote it was for Gamecube.) And as I said earlier, Tales of Symphonia is considered by some as one of the best Anime RPGs for the Gamecube. If you want to go as deep as Handheld consoles, there are TONS of Anime Games that are great for the GBA. Prince of Tennis (Tennis no Ouji-sama), Prince of Everyone (Minna no Oujisama), Dragonball Advance Adventure. Those are all good games! And of course, Hikaru no Go's Nintendo games are on of the most wonderful Go games ever. Even if you DID play Dragonball Z and Inuyasha, you can't judge all the other games on your limited experience. -ArV
Spoilers for Chapter 276: MY GOD!!!
Kakashi freakin' blow up Deidara's arm with his eye!!!!
And all signs point to
Gaara being dead...
:(
MY GOD!!! Finally I get to read them. ^^ THANK YOU! lol. Spoilers for Chapter 276 I think that although
Gaara may be dead, Chiyobaa-sama still has that move where she can ressurect somebody by taking her own life. I really believe that she will ressurect him.
I find it amusing that Yondaime Hokage developed the technique that he and Sandaime Hokage used where
they sacraficed their own life to take another person's while Chiyobaa-sama created the jutsu to sacrafice her own life to GIVE another person life!
-ArV
DBZ:Budokai 3, Gundam: Federation Vs. Zeon, Naruto, Gundam Vs. Zeta Gundam,
Just like there's more than one DBZ game and more than one Gundam game out there, there's more than one Naruto game out there. The only Naruto game that I played and loved was Narutimetto Hero 2 (Narultimate Hero 2). Granted I've never played any of the Gekito Ninja Taisen, but there are still a lot of Naruto games that I just didn't enjoy.
and that's it I'm afraid.
Not so. What about JUMP Superstars? That looks to be a good Anime game for the DS. Especially if you like the Shonen Jump characters. Even characters from that new Cartoon Network acquisition Bobobobo..whatever... are in it.
I hope to God that "Cowboy Bebop" will be good. Please let it be good..
I played it. I was bored. You can't skip cinematics and you're basically following a path they give you and have very limited fighting moves that only work when the programmers want them to.
I think the only good Anime game out is DBZ:B3
Well, if you want good answers you have to be more specific. What console are you asking about? What kind of games are you interested in? RPGs? 2D Fighting? Sports? Racing? It makes a difference. Do you want games that are drawn in the Anime-style or games that are inspired by Anime series? If it's the former, try Digital Devil Saga for Playstation 2. It's a different, darker game. Suikoden was apparently a good series for an RPG. It even inspired a manga. For the Gamecube apparently Tales of Symphonia was a good RPG. Wasn't there a thread like this a while ago? lol -ArV
Truely a great me.
A great what? lol. I'm sure that was a typo... What gets me most about Terry Fox is that he didn't finish his run. He pretty much ran until it was physically impossible. He shows strength and true character. -ArV

I haven't been Following Yu-Gi-OH! lately, but are you talking about GX? If you are it's out in North America too. I don't know of any other Yu-Gi-Oh series... I guess GX could stand for Grand Championship. From what I hear this show takes place years into the future and there's a new Pharaoh. Don't know anything else about it though. -ArV

In Grade Eight I used a messenger bag. Everyone thought it looked good on me, or so they said when I switched to a backpack. The only reason I switched though, is because they put too much pressure on one shoulder. The only thing that I can think of for your question though is Field Hockey. At the high school level, there is no Field Hockey for guys. At all. But there is for girls! -ArV

Bloodseeker tours to Tokyo! (photos included)

HAHAHA. I Love the Sulpher Mine thing. And that Hentai Shop? Aww.. Poor mother of yours. ;) So no pics of those dancers from the Electric Parade? -ArV -
Apparently a lot of high schools were very into it this year. I don't know about my school, but somebody was sick in my household so I had to stay home to take care of them. It's cool how he's like a Canadian hero. -ArV

What I am most worried about is the cost. Will you have to pay for each extra peripheral? Will I be at a disadvantage or will I not be able to play certain games because I can't afford a specific addon? That's what I fear most. -ArV

UGH. I just posted a really long reply but it didn't post. Now I have to write it again? UGH. Here's the jist of it.
It was in the sense that since the US is going around making NAFTA obsolete - they've basically torn up the agreement with the whole Beef and Lumber thing - than they should play by their own rules for a change.
That's a the childish way to look at it. He broke the rules so I'll break the rules. He hit me, so I'll hit him. There are other ways to do things.
I'm just tired of seeing the Canadian government bending over to the US' every whim
The Canadian Government flipflops on International relations all the time. Mulroney was practically an American worshipper, but Prime Ministers like Trudeau stood up for the country.
- be it selling out promising Canadian buisnesses (See: Tim Hortons)
Timmy's COO is Paul House from Hamilton. He wants to open up 500 restaurants in the United States but I don't see how that's a problem, Americans have opened up lots of franchises in Canada but they're not worried that McDonalds may become Canadian property.
or giving them electricity for next to nothing - and, personally, I think the best way to do that is to tell them that not everyone plays by their rules. Even an adult will beat somone trying to rob him blind.
They may defend themselves but that's a different logic than "they stole from me, I'll steal from them." Canada can defend themselves in many other ways.
As for the adult thing, it's bassically one sided - Canadian politicans telling the Americans to play by the rules, and the American ones telling the Canadian ones to go shove the rules up their *** - which is ironic, since the US had a major part in writing the rules.
Well if the method the Politicians are taking aren't working they need a new method. I just disagree with this one. I'm not saying you're stupid for suggesting this. I'm also not saying that you should stop. You suggesting a method is a wonderful idea and a great way to further the democratic system by contributing your ideas, but in the same way me arguing against it is too. -ArV

I'm not sure about this dub. As you know I've only seen the first few episodes and I didn't like it, so I'm still wondering if I should buy it. Maybe when the price goes down. But Dagger-dono, do the last episodes really save the series? I really didn't like Souji's voice in the beginning. I know you say they were "out of the park"... but when does the good dubbing start? On a side note How did they do with the Poetry episode? -ArV
