1.
What time period is it in?[/SIZE']
From June 2003 Edition of Shonen Jump. SJ: Your work seems to have a science fiction influence. Approximately speaking, what is the level of technology in the world of Naruto? K: Actually, the world of Naruto doesn't differ very much from our present time. Television, refrigerators and air conditioners exist in the world. The only exceptions are weapons and explosives, which I've decided to set in a much earlier era. That's why you don't see firearms in the world of Naruto. "SJ" is Shonen Jump and "K" is Masashi Kishimoto-sensei, the creator of Naruto. Since it's in our world, but certain things are not, it's obviously a fictitious setting that could have no real comparison in our history. Though, if there were to be one, it would be "present day". -Arvie
 2.
Then I saw a reccomendation for another film by the same director called "Azumi", which is pop Samurai violence with swordplay. //snip// I'm tempted to watch the sequel "Battle Royale II: Requiem" but I've heard that it's no-where near as good as first one, that it's not even good at all. :(
ooo I love Ueto Aya. I wanted to see her in Azumi for the longest time, but never really got around to searching for it. I've seen both Battle Royale's. After watching the first one, I had a respect for it, but I wasn't as interested in it as most of my friends. The second one had me terribly bored and tired. I pretty much wanted the last six hours of my life back. No, it wasn't six hours long, it just felt like it was. A movie I saw recently which I loved is Kamikaze Girls. Not really a deep movie with a plot to get you thinking, but an innocent comedy about two girls becoming friends. It has a great use of animation and it breaks down the fourth wall pretty naturally. Not only that, Fukada is just beautiful. -ArV
 3. Quick answer for the quick question: Houkou is the five-tails. Come, converse and theorize with us more.
I'm all for filler episodes, but an entire seasons worth of nothing but filler arcs!?!! I have to wonder what the creators were smoking when they came up with that idea.
They were thinking that they didn't want the story to be very different from the manga and if they continued the Anime at the pace it was at, it would have caught up with the anime (again). When the Filler Episodes were being introduced, the producers had three choices. 1. Make the Anime story very different from the Manga. 2. Give the Naruto Anime have fillers for a year. 3. Cancel the Naruto Anime for a year. I'm happy with the choice they made. -ArV -Arvie
 4.
2. Naruto is 4th Hokage's son? .... No one knows the answer. The author hasn't revealed the truth yet. Anyway, I doubt the author will give us the answer to this mystery. So, happy guessing.
When
Itachi and Kisame
came into Konoha, they said they were after
Yondaime's son. Kakashi immediately understood they were after Naruto.
It's
possible that
it was
entirely symbolic. He might have been identified as "Yondaime's Son" because he appeared when Yondaime died, but at the moment, that's up in the air.
-ArV
 5. The fact that the Houkou hid in a tree is pretty interesting. It could show that
if Sai is the Houkou he is hiding in the Great Tree of Konoha. If he were the Houkou, though, I doubt anybody else knows about it.
It's an interesting theory and it would help progress the story of finding the Nine Beasts. ^^ I give it a 2/5 for possibility rating. -ArV
 6.
Ouch, dont be so hasty now. I love some dubs, such as the Full metal Alchemist and Dragonball Z serires. I just truely despise the Naruto dub.
As EVA Unit 100 was saying, it's ironic that you would like the Dragonball Z dub but not the Naruto dub. Even if you're "making the switch" to the Japanese Dragon Ball, it shows that you don't know how much they changed in Dragonball Z especially compared to Naruto.
Wow. Its OK to be a fan but...WOW...-_-;
The only point to that list was to show that I care about Naruto; I care about its fate and its quality. If it was a bad dub, I would care a lot.
I like the English Manga. Shows more detail than the Englsh dubbed Naruto. And its authentic.
I still have no idea what you mean by authentic. If you mean they didn't change anything... They changed stuff in the English Shonen Jump version. They also bastardized the names of the Ninja techniques. "Art of the doppleganger"? "Master Kakashi"? The English Dub kept in "Sensei". They kept in "Shadow Clone Jutsu". They are as authentic as it can get. What detail are you talking about? If you're talking about DRAWING, they didn't change that at all. If you're talking about STORY, they didn't change that at all. Meaning that the same differences are in the Japanese versions of both.
First off, by manga i mean in general (English or Japanese, if you like the manga at all). I cant read japanese, so how could i understand japanese manga with no english text? I dont want to bash the show, its..decent. Im making comparisons, sorry if i offended you,#1 fan.
My point is that you grouped the Japanese and English versions of the Manga but you didn't with the Anime. If you wanted to compare the different formats that Naruto comes in you could have done "Manga vs Anime" or "English Manga vs Japanese Manga vs English Anime vs Japanese Anime". Otherwise, it's just not fair at all. You can read Japanese Manga the same way you watch the Japanese Anime, but FAN Translations. Anime is Fansubbed. Manga is Scanlated. >_> How am I #1 Fan.
Never said that, they removed detail, the bases of anime.
They took out blood here and there, but they left in a considerable amount of blood in comparison to other dubs. They removed the visual for a certain scene, but kept in the sound. They used to take out entire episodes. More recent series re-released them as "Lost Episodes" like DBZ and Escaflowne but they still took out vital plot information in the initial release. With Naruto, the "detail" you're talking about is still in the story. We know it's there because we hear it. They talk about it. They just softened the blow on the audience.
Not to my knowledge
Exactly. They didn't change genders. In previous Dubbed Anime they would change genders or gender orientations from certain characters to make them more appealing to the audiences. Cardcaptors took out vital relationships between Sakura's brother and his "friend." Sailormoon Dub took out the cutest relationship in anime by saying that Sailor Neptune and Uranus were cousins. Some people were afraid that they would change Haku's gender to a girl, but they didn't.
Events such as detail; 'High Powered' fight scenes.
They didn't take out a single fight scene. Every fight scene in the Japanese version is in the American version.
No. Only some voice acting takes away from personality.
And you like Dragonball Z? The voices in the English Naruto are very, very close to the Japanese Naruto. The Naruto in Japanese is played by a girl and the English version didn't decide to make it more manly. They did that in Dragonball Z. Goku in Japanese is played by a woman. It's to display innocence even as an adult. His screams are very, very high pitched. The English version changed the character a LOT to match the English standars of masculinity. At no point did Naruto do that. Sakura's voice is still annoying, just like her character. Sasuke's voice is calm, cool, and collected. Naruto is still hyperactive, wild, and raspy.
They killed Naruto's name.
OH! By changing it to Nathan! Another rumour going around was that his name would be changed to Nathan. Nobody trusted this rumour since the name of the series is Naruto, but what about Sasuke? Names like that would be in danger of being changed because kids might not be able to pronounce that. Sailormoon changed the name of Usagi to Serena, Chibi-Usa to Rini. Cardcaptors changed the names of their main characters to be more Americanized too. Naruto still has -all- their Japanese names.
You are correct as far as that goes. Naruto is a giant 'powerhouse' and it is all about marketing because before you know it they will have naruto trading cards, video games; another fad for America. And who are going to be the 'populace' that would buty these things, yes, children. In a buisness sense they made a brilliant choice by putting the series on Toonami. But for fans it would have been better on adult swim. (the kiss scene would be shown if it was on adult swim as i said more detail, even unwanted detail)
So you're saying they should doom the series financially reduce its popularity ten-fold so that you can see just one scene which they'll have in the Unedited DVDs anyway. Fair trade.[/sarcasm]
Yes this is true, but it still doesnt take away from the fact that the way they say Naruto is annoying, and they made Kakashi and Iruka sound like adolecents.
Like KKC said, Kakashi's voice is too deep to be an adolescent. Naruto's voice matches his personality. You might find the voices annoying because you're used to the Japanese voices and can't handle the switch. Your mind has already associated to the Japanese voices that you can't handle -any- other voices as these characters.
It depends on how fast you read manga, then.
The Manga is faster. Compare the fights and you'll see. Tenten vs Temari wasn't even in the Manga. Shino vs Zaku had flashbacks in the Anime that weren't in the Manga. Kiba vs Sakon was also interupted by flashbacks in the Anime. The manga gets to the point without as much character definition as the Anime. This is why it goes faster, even if in the Anime the actions make it seem like the people are moving faster.
Alright, I watched the Japanese version of Naruto than the English. When I saw the English, i could say it was a bad dubbing. You could see for yourself, the emotion in the characters are hardly there.
Maile Flanagan has a lot of emotion. Perfectly upset when she's upset and perfectly happy when she needs to be. Kakashi's voice actually has more emotion than the Japanese version. And like I said, it may seem like things aren't emotional because they sound fake to you. Just as the dialogue may sound unrealistic to you, the Japanese version may sound unrealistic to the Japanese.
Im just bringing the name of the American Naruto francise down. They already sadly mocked the series by bringing this kind of dubbed version out. They could have done better. I woud love to see a better English version of Naruto with the same japanese theme songs.
I would definately want to see the Japanese theme songs. They kept the theme songs for Inuyasha, why not for Naruto? For everything there's room for improvement, but is the dub a joke? Definately not. Way better than DBZ, Gundam W, CCS, Escaflowne, or pretty much ANY Dub I've seen on TV.
They could have at least kept the theme songs.
Definately with you on that. -Arvie

 8.
By the way. They never changed the guy's gender in "Jupiter Jazz". They made it clear he was a man and that he had hormonal problems, and it was clear he was a hermaphrodite. They never edited it out as far as my knowledge goes. Maybe on an early version, but in the replays of the show, they deffinetly left it in.
My bad. I was reading around on ANN one day and I came accross this. http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/columns/edit-list.php?id=20 I don't have Cartoon Network myself, so I don't know what they aired on TV. I interpreted as well as I could, but it's not replacement for watching the thing and reading the article.
Cowboy Bebop: Jupiter Jazz (Part 1) 1) Gren's shower scene cropped and shortened to conceal his breasts. This was rather surprising. While I didn't expect that they would actually show his breasts (though we can hope) I didn't expect they'd eliminate them completely given their importance in understanding the character...

Nor did they change Haku's gender. He is still a boy and he said it in the episode that he was a boy, and Naruto even went to the extent to say that he was cuter than Sakura.[/color']
That's my point. They didn't change Haku's gender. They didn't change ANYTHING. That's why it's a good thing... -ArV
 9. Actually, this site isn't just about Anime. Though, this section is. The administrators will probably move this thread to the "Music, Movies, & TV." Section of Otakuboards. I think Teen Titans is funny, but I don't watch much myself. When I do watch, I get bored from the plots, though, so I guess it's a good thing I don't watch. ^^ The main reason I'm replying, is because I want to know what you think of Cartoon Network's decision to cancel Teen Titans. -ArV
 10. It really seems like this thread was created just to bash the Dub of Naruto or dubs in general. Just background info on me. I started with the Naruto Japanese Anime. I downloaded every episode and kept the highest quality ones on my harddrive, eventually filling up 30 Gigs of Naruto. Eventually I learned the Manga was ahead so I started reading that. I now read Naruto every week on the day it comes out. I paid Fifty Dollars for a Konoha Forehead Protector because it was official. I paid Forty Five Dollars for Naruto Manga even though it was Japanese. I have Naruto posters on my door, and my friends call me a Narutard. I made avatars of myself with BYAKUGAN eyes. I read the English Naruto MANGA and I hated it. Now on to your post.
This thread is to see what style is best of Naruto. Do you like the manga style of Naruto, the Japanese anime, or the Enlish subbed version of the anime series.
How come we can't vote for English Manga? This is the main reason that it seems like you just want to bash the American show. You put English and Japanese, but you didn't do so for the Manga.
Little did i know they edited detail such as blood and some very inspiring scenes that give DEFINITION to the series
Oh, so you mean they removed episodes? They changed genders? They removed vital relationships and events from the series? Did they change the personality of any characters? Did they ruin the names?
because they show it on 'Toonami'. They could have at least depicted more detail if they played it on Adult Swim. Why couldnt they show it on adult swim  ?
Depectid more detail if they played it on Adult Swim... Yes... Problem here is that Naruto isn't for adults. It was intended for kids in Japan, and it's intended for kids in the United States. Like I said, I love Naruto, but the series doesn't have that much plot depth. The "plot twists" can often be guessed in advance because they're overly hinted at, and the characters are extremely exagerated. Even their names are puns so that Japanese children can remember them easily. The show being on Adult Swim may have allowed them to show a gush of blood here, and a certain scratch there, but it wouldn't have changed much. It would also have been the death of the series here. If the show was on Adult Swim, very few children would have access to it. Naruto is a powerhorse, it was already very popular and there must have been a lot of competition to be the licensing company for something so popular. The main purpose for bringing a powerhorse over to the states would be for it to make money and if they don't sell it to the right audience, nobody will buy it. Finally, even if it WAS on Adult Swim, you wouldn't get your precious kiss scene. Even on Adult Swim, things are editted for content. In such a time where homsexuality and gay marraiges are such a sensitive topic, no licensee in their right mind would keep that picture in. (And I say picture because that scene had pretty much no animation in it.) Parents, soccer-moms, would be calling the show evil instantaniously. Cartoon Network wouldn't be able to keep the show for a week.
I am EXTREMELY disappointed as far as the English version goes. I think the English version is going to help the series die, if anything will. Also, the theme songs are WAY BETTER than the English Naruto.
Yes, the theme songs are pretty annoying for the English Series. And it just may die... except... the dub is already popular!
The characters also have better voice casting, and the way they say Naruto in English makes me twitch.
Here's the thing. You a) don't speak Japanese, and b) heard the Japanese version first. Since you don't speak Japanese, it's harder for you to catch those little nuances that Japanese people have and don't have. If nobody told you that a certain character had a Tokyo Accent, would you have known? Since you've spoken English your entire life, you can tell that the dub characters don't speak the same way you do and seem fake. Since the Japanese have spoken Japanese their entire lives, they can tell the same things. I'm not saying the Japanese cast is better or worse than the English Cast. I'm saying you can't say anything unless you're fluent in Japanese. Personally, I hate Iruka, and I'm not too happy with Kakashi yet. But I love Haku, and the Sarutobi actor is a pretty interesting choice.
Reason i dont like the manga better than the episodes is because it is more fast paced and the battle scenes are more realistic instead of scene by scene. Color and music also set a dominant enviornment that you cant get from Manga.
True. The Anime has more detail in fights, as well as character development. It goes into big character stories that the Manga doesn't. Though, because it passes over these sections, the manga goes by really fast, which is a plus for me. Sometimes the detail in the anime can be annoying because it goes sooo slow.
I understand that the Manga is original, but if you want true original Manga, learn to read Japanese and read Japanese manga straight from a Tokyo bookstore.
Or you can import the books, buy them from a Japanese book store, buy them from an Anime store, or by them from conventions. I buy them from conventions. And yes, I'm taking Japanese and my eventual goal is to read the volumes that I have. I could say the same thing about you and the Naruto Subs you've watched. Unless you've seen the raws and translated the show yourself, of course. There's a big difference with comparing "the English Official, and the Japanese Official" and comparing "the English Official, and the FANSUB of the Japanese Official".
With that being said, what are others opinion on this topic?
Like I said, it seems like this topic is just an excuse to bash the dub. Personally, I love the dub. It really is a good dub. Unless you've been watching Anime for a long enough time, you wouldn't know what real censorship and bad dubbing is. Try watching the old ROBOTECH and compare it to the Japanese original MACROSS. Even something more contemporary: Card Captor Sakura (Cardcaptors), Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon (Sailormoon), Yuugiou (Yu-Gi-Oh! King of Games), have had major story changes, and character alterations. When it was announced that Naruto would be dubbed, many rumours flew. One involved changing Haku's gender so that it doesn't seem like he's gay. (They did it on a hermaphrodite on Cowboy Bebop an ADULT SWIM anime) The fact that they didn't do this, the fact that they kept the Japanese names for the Ninja Techniques (dear god... Art of the Doppleganger?!?!?!), the fact that they're not pronouncing them Narooto and Sakoora like they did with CCS is a good thing. They kept in a LOT of blood. In the first episode, Iruka had a giant shuriken STICKING OUT OF HIS BACK. They took out the kiss scene, but they left it in the story. Everyone knows they kiss, you hear it. You just don't see it so that parents don't start phoning in asking why they're showing gay cartoons to their children. In fact, I bet they still got a lot of comlpaints about it. Dude, they're even coming out with uncensored DVDs!! If you don't like dubs in general, and you're against dubbing, say so. Don't bring down the name of the Naruto franchise just because you think that listening to the Japanese DUB is better than the English. I honestly think this dub is the best dub you can get while still keeping it marketable. If you're not happy with this, I doubt you'd have been happy with any English version of Naruto. I vote for the English. -ArV
 11. Shway, Newfie. I just started my job at Boston Pizza. I'm a server so I get paid less than minimum wage, but my entire earnings pretty much double when you include tips. It's not a bad job, lots of nice people, but working here enhances my perception of the bastards out there. -ArV
 12.
NANI?! I personally think Sakura should just die already! She's useless.
Sakura was useless, yes. But she's still a pretty cool character. Especially when she gets older, Kishimoto decides to actually give her a fight or so. This time-skip Sakura has
amazing Chakra Control, Strength, Medical Ninjutsu know-how, and impressive intelligence and planning.
I loved the technique and planning she showed off in the Naruto Movie. Take a look at the fight in the forest. That was just shway. -ArV
 13.
May I ask what exactly copic markers are?
Copic is a brand of marker that is very popular among artists who like to draw Manga styled pictures. They have tons of different colours, making it hard to choose at times, and different shapes and sizes of marker. They bleed a lot, because they have a lot of ink. I've been told that using them is like painting with a marker. My girlfriend and her friends got their marker sets somewhere on eBay. Somebody on there just sells (not auctions) copics. -ArV
 14. Retribution: I love this picture. I would hang it on my wall if I cared about Broadway. It's busy, it's noisy, but at the same time it's simple and clean. The only thing I don't like is the center column with "BROADWAY" written three times. It doesn't seem to match with the other two columns. Baron Samedi: When I scrolled down and saw your image, I was struck with how nice it is. On closer inspection I noticed the 'hidden' words and appreciated it more and more. The dazzling background is wonderful, and the splash of colour on the man is teasing. The fonts you used and the words give me another side of Broadway. To this moment I still haven't decided... I really, really like them both. I'll have to stick with the first one. For its simplicity, I go with Retribution. -ArV
 15. Were these rushed? I don't mean to sound rude, but both pieces seem a bit rushed to me. Doc: Putting the images on a reel like that is creative, but the very real images don't feel right on a reel that doesn't look real. No pun intended. ._. I feel awkward looking at the leftmost picture since it seems a little blurry. I like the tiny bit of colour that's in the center frame, and I like the font-face for most of the text, but font-face for Hollywood doesn't seem to match. Kitty: The Oscar, the Street Sign, HOLLYWOOD, and the defintion, lying ontop of the picture of the city. The way the images just seem to lie there suggest that they wasn't too much planning involved (I'm sorry if there was). I love the way your definition was done though. Your use of typography aligns with me enough to give you my vote. My vote goes to Kitty. -ArV
 16.
I havn't seen Nimbus since the Saiyan Saga. I havn't seen Henge in a while either...
Gohan rides the Nimbus to school between the Buu and Cell saga. Konohamaru used Henge (or Sexy no Jutsu to be exact) when Naruto got back after the time skip. I don't think they forgot it, but considering Kakashi is able to "sense" that Zabuza was still alive... I don't think somebody on the level of Sannin should fall for a technique taught at the Ninja Academy.
Don't listen to people who blame Naruto's quality/lack of it on the dub. They're just scared to admit that the Naruto anime isn't as good as it is made out to be in the first place.

Eep, so there is some disagreement among fans it appears! Oh well, truth be told I haven't been able to get my hands on any DVDs yet so I haven't been able to sample the subtitled, but I see what you're saying about the story.
The DVDs aren't out yet. Around March and July 2006 if I remember. The March ones are dubbed, the July ones are uncut. Of course there is 'disagreement among fans'. xP Everyone disagrees on something lol. ^^ I agree with EVA Unit 100 when he says that the quality of the dub matches the quality of the Japanese version, but I like both versions. Don't get me wrong, I don't claim that Naruto is the best anime of all time. I don't even claim it to be in the top ten percent. I just like it for the pure fun it can deliver when it's at its best.
You named it, that's usually what I look for in an anime, again though the dubbing bothered me so much that I kept getting distracted from whatever plot it had. If it does get deeper, as you suggest, than I would most certainly look forward to trying it again in its subtitled form if I can find it.
I don't think it's wrong to only enjoy anime with complex plots or intense charater development. Usually I prefer things with substance too. Naruto is my exception. Naruto has substance but not to the extent that I usually seek. The argument I wanted to make was of your definition of what Anime is. You claim that because Naruto didn't have what you were looking for, it shouldn't be considered Anime. I believe that a statement like that would be like saying The Matrix 2 and 3 shouldn't be considered The Matrix since they didn't have as much substance as the first. I can also say that the Hey Arnold Movie shouldn't have been considered a feature film because it too lacked any sort of substance. My final example would be saying that Gundam Wing and Gundam Seed Destiny weren't really Gundam Series because they didn't have the groundbreaking concepts and concepts of personal struggle through war that the original Gundam had. The problem is that the Hey Arnold Movie still fits in the definition of feature film and must be called one. In the same way Hello Kitty, Dragonball Z/GT, and B'Damon fit the defintion of Japanimation and must be called Anime. One thing that I found pretty offensive was how you compared Japanimation to American Cartoons with the purpose of demeaning American Animation. There are American Cartoons out there that have deeper plots, and thicker characters than a lot of Anime out there, but we would never consider them to be Anime. Just as we wouldn't consider these as Anime purely on content, we can't say something that is Anime to be not, purely on content. Maybe it's because I consider Anime to be a medium that I can allow myself to believe there are great series/movies out there as well many poor ones, just as in other media (movies, books, television shows, etc.) there are great and poor works. Er. sorry for the rant. ^^ >.< -ArV

 20.
285!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how did you get that far!
We're reading the scanlations of the Japanese Manga. They can be found online.
I have to admit, I really hate Naruto so I shouldn't be posting here... but I do want to know, is it just me or does the English dubbing really suck badly?
It's not just you, there are a lot of people out there that agree with you. Me? I'm not one of them. I like the dub.
Do any Naruto fans feel similarly in regards to the dubbing? I for one know a lot of Naruto fans at my school who love the manga and dislike the anime for the dubbing alone.
Like I said, I like the dub. I believe it's a very good dub. There's censorship, yes, but that's expected. A lot of people don't like the dub for (what I think are) bad reasons. Some people don't like the dub because it's a dub. I find that sort of attitude bigotistic.
I figure one of the major reasons they switched to Toonami is because it is a teen show by and large, the audience watching it was not the same mature audience found watching many of the other shows on Adult Swim. I highly doubt it really has anything to do with the shows ratings... actually there are a few official releases discussing the switch if I'm not mistaken, I should try to search the net for it. While the show might have some mature elements it's still a show geared toward teens/young teens.
I still think it's for ratings. Although if you watch it, you might not consider many of the themes as mature, a lot of parents would. The way I see it, they put it on Adult Swim originally because if they put it on Toonami, it'd have to be censored deeply. They switched to Toonami because they realized it'd be a bigger impact on children. From what I remember (I could be wrong), we still have the Adult Swim censorship. My secret hope is that Cartoon Network was being sneaky and asked for it on Adult Swim so it wouldn't be as censored. They switched it to Toonami so that dubs can get less and less censorship in general.
My comments regarding my opinion toward Naruto refer only to the show, as I hear the manga is pretty good but haven't got the chance to read it yet. Though I do not deny that on a number of occasions I have refered to it being more of a standard cartoon and less of an anime *shrugs* my opinion though, which I gathered isn't shared widely on the forums.
Well, that depends on your definition of Cartoons and Anime. From what I can guess, you believe that Anime should have a 'deeper plot' than a the Western Cartoon. If this really is your argument, I have to assure you that Naruto has at least as deep a plot as classic shows considered to be major Anime. Rurouni Kenshin for example. Like I said, I like Naruto, I also like the dub. It's not the most thought provoking series, nor is it the most beautifully drawn series, but it's a fun series that does its genre justice. If there's any problem with Naruto, it would be in it being long and drawn out, to the point of being boring. I don't think, though, that this reason would not be enough to consider it as "less of an anime". It will be interesting to see your reply. ^^ Edit: I can't believe I forgot to reply to everyone else! I read 285, and I think even more so now that Kishimoto made Sai just so we can hate him for now, and like him later. Unlike everyone else, I didn't even think about Sasuke during these moments until Sakura mentioned him. What makes you think he'll be coming soon?
To Chobitslover90, Volume 8 is ine of my favorites because it starts up my favorite part, the Chuunin Prelims!!!//SNIP//Oh! And considering Sasuke's my favorite, isn't it funny that my favorite part is when he gets his face handed to him by Lee and my avator is the person that scarred his life? That's why Lee's pummeling him in my signature...
Yah, it's funny. My favourite is Hinata but my favourite Manga Volumes are 9 and 10. The ones where
Hinata gets pwned in the face by Neji and the one where Lee goes DBZ on Gaara's ***.
I didn't like Volume 8 too much except for when Sasuke faught. That was fun. =D I honestly have no idea what Sasuke will look like... the Knot on the back sounds like a good guess. But all their robes are fugly. I hate them so much. I hope Sasuke gets to keep at least some of his clothes, they weren't... that bad in my opinion. -ArV
 21. I have Need for Speed: Most Wanted for PS2. In all honesty, I wasn't expecting much from it. Was I blown away? Sometimes. It's not the best racing game I ever played, but the cinematics are pretty nice. They use real actors and use some filters to make them look like CG. The in-game graphics are nice enough to blend with the endings of cinematics and the police chases are pretty fun. The problem I have is how the cars tend to drift too much. If you turn here, it'll drift. Turn there, it'll drift. It's pretty much autodrift. I say it's worth a rent if you like car games. -ArV
 22.
I was thinking about it and since hentai is basically animated pornography should it be considered anime? cuz alot of people dont watch anime or let their kids watch it beacause of it
That depends on your definition of Anime. If you think Anime is a cartoon of Japanese drawing style... Yes, it is Anime. If you think Anime is a cartoon that originated from Japan... Yes it is Anime. If you think Anime is a long, curved, yellow fruit... No, it isn't Anime. Basically, Hentai is Animated Porn. Anime in Japan means something Animated. Anime in North America usually means something Animated from Japan. Some people consider it something Animated resembling the Japanese drawing style. Hentai matches both of these definitions so it is Anime. Even if you don't like Hentai or Yaoi, they are still Anime. Just because some parents don't let their kids watch Pokemon because they think it's the same as Cool Devices, you don't change a definition. Not all Anime is for kids. In fact, a lot of it isn't. -ArV
 23. Naruto and the gang just heard their dubbed selves. haha i kid. i like the dub. -ArV
 24.
so is this normal or im i just a sensitive guy?
Watch Grave of the Fireflies. It's about World War II from the perspective of a Japanese boy. It's deeply emotional and touching. Whether or not you're a boy or girl, f you don't cry to this anime, you don't have a soul. Yes, I saw it. Yes, I cried. Yes, I'm a guy. No, I don't regret it. -ArV
 25. Hey Nomura, You might want to use spoiler tags if you're writing out plot descriptions that are as detailed as yours. ^^ Otherwise, someone who hasn't gotten as far as you might read it by accident and be pretty upset. I compiled a list of opponents each Genin (excluding Team 7) from Konoha. I numbered the opponents by fight so we can compare the amount of fights each character has had. Some are marked as decimals because those fights were not even shown, just the beginnings and the endings. The point of this is to show that Hinata needs more opponents.
