There was a video on IGN during E3. They showed somebody playing the game and talking about it. The other characters are in the game and you can see them fighting in the background sometimes. They showed (I think it was) Johnny Cage defeating Gorro in the background and then waving to you. I think I'll try it out for a rent at least. -ArV

The Great Depression was fuelled by tarrifs and "trade wars". Creating another depressions isn't the best idea. Canada's two biggest trade partners are the United States and China. I doubt its best to create a "war" with your biggest economic partner. Think of how many business and chains would be shut down due to the destruction of free trade. I normally don't like RPGs. In fact, amongst my friends we have a little joke that I am "gamist". This game, though, is on a different level. It is an amazingly cute game with wonderfully detailed graphics. I've only played 40 minutes into it, but so far the story is fun and full of wildly entertaining characters. The game battle system is not only real time, but you cooperate with the computer by following your Captain's orders. The coolest thing about the game is the attention to detail. For example, if you're very close to the camera, your image becomes blurry. If a character's face appears beside the subtitles, it'll be doing [i]exactly[/i] what the character is doing. Sooo.... has anybody else played this game? -ArV

I played Burnout 3: Takedown. I really, really liked it. So if this one is as good as you say it is. :drool: Do you have links for Vidz/Screens? What makes it better than the previous Burnouts? I never read the manga of Initial D, but I saw a bit of First Stage, Third Stage, a bit of Fourth Stage, and I have a copy of Special Stage for the PS2. I also saw the Hong Kong movie, but unlike Domyoji, I liked it. It's a totally different take on the series. They cut out some of the characters and made Itsuki slightly more annoying, but I think it suits his character. The main difference, I felt, was that although the Anime focused more on the action and racing, the movie was leaning towards the relationships between the characters. You see a lot of development between Takumi and Bunta, Itsuki and Takumi, and Takumi and his girlfriend (whose name escapes me at the moment). There is racing though. I showed it to somebody that has never seen Initial D and he liked it because there was (and I quote) "Lots of races, not much of that relationship stuff." They had clips of the first episode including the Opening and Ending. I have to say a few things. 1. I was wrong. I forgot that Sasuke and Sakura were in the first episode. ^^ 2. They changed the Opening and Ending! It reminds me of Dragonball Z. But I guess it's not as bad since the later OPs and EDs contain Rock songs... But since this OP has clips, not only from the series, but also from the other OPs, I'm afraid they might use it for the entire series. That would be a shame. 3. I like the voice acting! I really hate YTV right now for not showing Naruto yesterday like they were supposed to. It sucks that up here in Canada we'll be two weeks behind everyone that has Cartoon Network. I'm curious, although Sakura, Sasuke, and Kakashi haven't been introduced yet, the Hokage and Iruka have. How are the voices for those two? How about Konohamaru? How about the Jutsu names? I doubt they kept "sexy no jutsu" or "harem no jutsu" 's name. Did they? Guh, I hate YTV for making us wait. -ArV

I've met [b]Scott McNeil[/b] twice before, and I have a ton of his autographs on Duo Maxwell things. He's such a fan favourite at conventions. A few days ago was CNAnime 2005. And unlike celestialcharm, I waited the hour and a half or so in his and [b]Kirby Morrow[/b]'s autograph line. I didn't have anything for them to sign, and Scott had already signed my Con pass earlier when I bumped into him in the lobby, but I took pictures and 30 second sound bytes of them both. At previous conventions, I've also been in Q&A sessions for lots of American Voice actors, including the "Gundam Boys" and one that included both [b]Mark Hildreth[/b] and [b]Hikaru Midorikawa[/b]. And although this particular event never happened to me, it was fun for my friends to randomly find Midorikawa sitting in the middle of the convention without anybody paying attention to him. They were able to get autographs from him without line-ups when other people were lining up for 3 hours straight. ^^ At this year's CNAnime, I met three of the voice actors for [B]Red Vs Blue[/B]. I was able to obtain a "lightish-red" t-shirt that with autographs from the voices of Sarge, Tucker, and Donut. Well, although it's really good to see the Anime continue, and it's a big drag having to wait out filler-arcs while the plot is on hold, I'd rather there be filler episodes than a drain in the plot. If Naruto were to continue and surpass the Manga, they would have to have different stories and would become completely different. Isn't that was X/1999 did when they finished the X Anime before the Manga? The Manga has such a great story that it would be such a waste, and a tragedy not to see it in its full coloured Animated form. -ArV

WoWLeroyJenkins don't you mean Perverted Sennin? Genin are very low level Ninja. Sennin means Hermit. When Naruto calls him "Ero-Sennin" he's calling him "Perverted Hermit". He's also one of the Densetsu no Sannin (Legendary Three Ninjas), the other two being [spoiler]Orochimaru and Tsunade[/spoiler].* Which made it confusing for me at first. The Naruto Manga is definately more fast paced. Compared to the Manga, the Anime is slow and annoying. Furi Kuri or Fooly Cooly doesn't have a real meaning apparently, but somebody posted a link to an essay about it in the official FLCL thread. Look it up in the threads directory to find out how to get there. What you'll need most is a teacher willing to watch over you. My friends and I were trying to start a Go club, and our biggest problem (excluding the amount of time it takes to play a single game of Go) was the lack of support from a teacher. So we just sat with the chess club. At our school, our Anime Society is succesful, I believe, because we have teachers that are willing to stay after school and help us out when help is needed. And since it's the Media Arts teacher, we're also able to use the computers, projectors, and video room. The teacher could also help you out with the rules your school might have for clubs and such.
