1. Thanks for the feedback. I'll make sure to take it all in. Just to clarify a few things that were brought up. Where you asked about air travel I said that it was discovered by the kingdom but not that it was in use yet. I should probably clarify that a bit more. The part where I talk about the original lords holding bi yearly conferences I'm not saying they have extended life spans. I should have put the hundred years etc after or reworded it so as to make sense. Thanks for pointing out what where I have been repetitive. I have a habit of doing that and always seem to miss it. Here is the rest of the prologue: At the precise day of the hundredth anniversary of the building of Zanar?s tower it burnt to the ground. It was could be seen at all three capital?s, which are at the furthest points from the mountain ranges. The flames were horrendously high and it seemed that much of the earth around the tower would be consumed in flame. When search parties returned from the investigation of the incident it was explained that only the tower had been consumed and that everything around it was untouched. News was also brought that the savior was no where to be found rumour spread that he had been consumed in the fire as no corpse had been discovered. Many other rumours followed including that he was a magician who delved in the dark arts and was consumed by his own will for power. It was also popularly believed that Zanar was God having come to Earth to rescue His people from the creatures and had returned to Heaven via the magnificent height of the tower which was burned after His need of it had been completed. From this ideal the first non-pagan religion sprang to life on Falcacia. The religion spread like a fire to dry grass throughout the lands of Falcacia. The Lords came together in relationship to this spreading religion and agreed that a man should be inducted as the leader of the religion so as to assure its smooth operation. The first man to be inducted as the Kanash, as the title was first proclaimed by the Lords, was a man named Darias. His first task as Kanash was to initiate priests into the order so as to document the known life of Zanar. In these recordings the life of Zanar became a corrupted story to make him an almighty God who had come to Falcacia to save the people. His deeds were extended to more than just saving towns from the creatures but also to curing the sick and performing miracles of intense magnitude. No one questioned whether these stories were true as it was believed that what was written could not have possibly been in any way controlled or exaggerated. The universal theory, where the people of Falcacia were concerned, was that the Book of Zanar comprised of eyewitness recordings and information pieced together from notes that were scattered around the old tower. The religion spread like a wildfire throughout Falcacia and people began to forget the pagan religions that had once been a crucial part of the three kingdoms ways of living. Those gods that had once been praised and glorified were removed from the temples and Zanar became the dominant figure. There were some who refused to accept Zanar as a God. These people became outcasts and as time progressed they too were forgotten by the three kingdoms. It is believed that these people started their own village away from those who had chosen to stray from their origins where they could worship their Gods without fear of being treated unfairly by the Zaralists, worshippers of Zanar. Three hundred years past. The religion of Zanar was widely worshipped and helped to bring peace to the three kingdoms. Little use was needed of the armies though they were kept incase another outbreak of the creatures occurred again. The kingdoms prospered in these days and, while keeping to some of the old ways, advanced through their scholars and scientists. But how long is peace likely to remain when the lords had broken from the old ways in belief that nothing could truly threaten their homes? This all I have worked on at the moment and since I'm completing Year 12 haven't had much time. I hope to work on it soon.
2. I'm not sure if I've got what you meant by underrated, but where I'm from I would have to say.Hack//Sign was underrated. Myself and three others are the only people I know who have heard of and watch the series. I stumbled across the website whilst looking for anime shows.
3. If your looking at a way for them to transform Golden Sun to GCN, think Final Fantasy X and expand on that. The only thing i would hope for is that they make it a new story rather than regurgitating the GBA story even though it is extremely good.
4. Ando watched his new roommate leave the room in a huff and he was pretty pleased with the way he had handled the situation. He had just permanently distanced himself from his roommate. At least that's the way he hoped it was. Ando sat down his bag on his side of the room and started to unpack. As he began he realised something had seemed to be missing all morning. He searched his pockets and found it. His MP3 player had just been sitting in his pocket and he had forgotten about it. He turned it on and began to relax. The Gothic Music relaxing him. He forgot his unpacking, pulled out some paper and began to sketch. It was one of his favourite past times and he was quite a skilled drawer. For some reason though he was still unnerved about his roommate and couldn't get anything done. With progress lacking, Ando decided to take a walk.
5. This is one of two RPG's I have planned. Fallen Angels is the story of the war that divided Heaven and led to the formation of Hell. Basically the war began when Lucifer decided he wanted to rest control of Heaven from God. This led to a war between those who were loyal to God and those who had taken Lucifer's side. The ones who had begun been banished to hell with Lucifer were named by those in Heaven, Fallen Angels. Now this is wher I'm a bit lost for writing this RPG. I'm not sure whether to start this before, during or after the war. If I went before it would be the events leading up to and including the war. If it was during it would just be the war and possibly some of the events after. If it was set after the war then it could be The Fallen Angels planning a surprise attack on Heaven. Two Characters that I will definitely be having are the two commanding officers of the Armies. For the Fallen Angels this would be Lucifer and for Heaven it would be God's left hand, otherwise known as Gabriel. These are just ideas that I'm throwing around but I'm also planning a Final Fantasy Tactics Advance RPG which I'll describe in a new thread at a later date.
6. It will be interesting to see how you do this as four parts because i believe it would be possible to make it just one part. How are you going to end the first three parts ?

Gothic Music

I've heard some of Cradle of Filth's music and that's pretty sweet as well. They recently released a new CD which i'm considering buying.
9. David "Ando" Anderson stepped out of his car. His black trenchcoat flared out behind him as the wind came up. He peered from behind his black sunglasses ensuring that no one had taken any real notice to him. He preferred to go unnoticed. He may look different to the average kid but he was certain that he was no longer seen as an oddity as with his first day at school. Ando lifted his suitcase and made his way into reception. He didn't even notice the new kid who passed him with Echo on their way to the dorms. At least that was where he assumed they were going. Ando wasn't overly fond with gay guys. It was not that he was homophobic, but that they made him slightly uncomfortable. He preferred not to have that weird feeling everytime he talked to another guy. Ando had had a roomie the year before and hadn't been open to the idea at first. As the year progressed he had become accustomed to the idea of having a roommate, but the guy who had been his roomie had graduated. As soon as he was told that he was to have a roommate again his face paled. He didn't like the idea of being in close proximty with other people. It had always hurt him in some way. After he had composed himself Ando headed up towards his assigned room. He unlocked the door and was met with two words he was never looking forward to. "Hey roomie."
10. Hey Crucifix. I don't believe I know you well enough to call you your actual name. Actually i don't know you at all. Anyway, could i trouble you to make me one of those cool backgrounds as well. A mix of red and black or some dark colours would be nice. Also this is the first time that I am taking part in a "real life" RPG so if I screw up anywhere help me out.
11. Has anyone noticed that this is actually called Golden Sun, Book 1. This means that my mate inti wouldn't have to worry about the events that happen in The Lost Age. If this was to continue into the second game then those who were playing Saturos and Menardi could play Karst and Agatio.

Gothic Music

I've recently become acquainted with what some people call Gothic Music and I think its awesome. Bands that I have heard are Lacuna Coil, Nightwish, Therion and After Forever. I was wondering if anyone could suggest any other good Gothic bands I should look up.
13. I'm not overly fond of Greenday but i think this song is pretty good. I got turned off them when they did "Time of your life", but this might just be their saviour in my mind.
14. I'm a bit lost on how Macha can be Mia but in the final episode she doesn't recognise Tsukasa. Note: I haven't played Quarantine or Outbreak yet. I've recently begun watching Legend of the Twilight and I've found it to be very comical compared to Sign. I've also read the first two mangas which are titled Legend of the Twilight Bracelet. Does anyone know why the word Bracelet was removed from the anime series even though it is based on the manga?
15. To my knowledge it was Camelot who anounced that they were no longer going to consider making a third and fourth addition to Golden Sun. What I would like to see though is a prequel where they explain why the elemental stars were removed from the lighthouses. They don't really need a sequel unless it is a completely new game with a new storyline and new characters.
16. I have played so many games that I don't know where to begin. Okay here goes. Ganondorf (Legend of Zelda: Windwaker) - This was a great final battle and the fact that you had Terra/Zelda fighting with made the battle a lot more skillful than some. Nega Filgaia (Wild Arms 3) - This would have to be one of the greatest and longest battles I've ever done. The bloody boss has at least ten different forms and unless you know the right tactics and have the right items available you will be dead before beating the first form. The Dragon (Fire Emblem) - This was another hard battle. The bloody dragon could hit any of your characters no matter how far away from him they were. also if your characters did not have a high enough level they would be dead before you could say damn. The dragon also counterattacks every attack. MetaRidley (Metroid Prime) - now here was an annoying boss. In the early stages of the battle when he is flying he is very easy, but when he lands then comes the difficulty. Using a charged shot to stun him makes for light work but he is never stunned for long and it is difficult to hit him with a second charge shot. Cubia (.Hack volumes 2-4) - I've only played volumes one and two so I don't know what this boss is like in the last two games. If he is anything like the first battle he is frustrating. To beat Cubia it takes a lot of patience as he has a habit of changing his resistance between magic and physical at certain points in the battle. He realeases probes (I think, can't remember exactly) that do most of the attacking but also heal the core which is the main target. Cubia only attacks when it changes its resistance. I'll probably come up with others later on. I also apologize for any spoilers in my post, i haven't learnt how to get spoiler tags.
17. Hey. According to a friend of mine, there was once truth to the the rumour that a Golden Sun 3 and 4 were to be made, one of which would be for GCN. He also told me that an anouncement was made that they were no longer in production and would not be made. I don't know if Golden Sun 3 and 4 had once been announced and I want to know if there is truth to my friend's story? I never thought there would be a Golden Sun 3 or 4 released though the idea did seem good and I've wanted to see a Gamecube version since playing Golden Sun 2 . Can someone help me out here?
18. Hey. This is my first real attempt at writing a fantasy. It is the one creative writing style that I'm good at, but I am not to sure with this piece. This is only the prologue and not the whole prologue as it is already three pages. This section has already been edited twice so lets hear people opinions. All stories must have a beginning and an ending, just as all adventures must start with the adventurer setting out and end with the adventurer completing or failing their goal. This story, though, begins three hundred years before the adventure, but has just as big an impact on the world of Falcacia. Falcacia was and still is a continent split by three separate kingdoms each with their own unique aspects. These kingdoms were split by a mountain range known as the Triptah Mountains as they split three ways to divide all kingdoms from each other except by air transport. The largest of these kingdoms was Numac; led by Lord Cedric V. Numac had been the first of the Kingdoms to discover the mystery of flight using a steam powered engine and a gas filled balloon. This discovery marked the beginning of the second age of Falcacia. The second of the kingdoms was Alteras; led by Lord Decan III. Alteras was a kingdom renowned for its warriors and weaponry, as much had not been seen in any kingdom. Alteras had once been a kingdom split into tribes before all had been united by Lord Illus I. Upon his call all had united under the banner of the Flame and Phoenix to fight a greater foe who had disturbed their balance, but that is another story. The smallest of these kingdoms was Sinitia; led by Lord Sarac IX. Sinitia was not as predominant as Numac or Alteras but it was renowned for its Dragoons. The Dragoons of Sinitia were known for their strength, agility and skills when it came to close combat battles. Their skills with spears were astounding and their armour was believed to be made out of the tough skin of dragons slain at the hands of these warriors. These three kingdoms of Falcacia had lived in peace for over five hundred years, setting up diplomatic relations and trade routes. These trade routes were via air as it had become dangerous on the surface as many creatures had become vicious and would attack a man on sight. It was unknown how this occurred, but it began in the year 100 of the second age. Many travelers began disappearing on the roads between the capitals. The lords of the three kingdoms became anxious and so Lord Decan III sent a regiment into the wilderness to investigate the cause of these disappearances. The regiment returned with only half their numbers remaining. They brought news of strange, vicious creatures that were capable of taking down a man in seconds and tearing him to shreds. Diplomats were sent to Sinitia and Numac to find the best course of action. The resulting discussions brought into practice the newly discovered air travel as a replacement for trade and travel between many of the towns and the three capitals. But with the increasing demands in transportation only the wealthy or socially high-standing were able to travel via air. The three kingdoms started to build up defences to combat these creatures in case the creatures should attack their villages. Attacks seemed constant at first but after a few years the creatures gave up and attacked travelers who should happen to cross their path. After a while the attacks seemed to stop and very little was seen of these creatures but it was known that they were still out their in the wilderness. During the hundred years that these creatures attacked a man came to the three Lords proclaiming he was a savior and could protect them all from the creatures. The Lords were getting desperate as the attacks would not let up so they accepted the man?s proposal. The man, known as Zanar was a very strange man he seemed to know exactly when and where the creatures were going to attack before anything would happen. He appeared at every attack and stood on the barracks. One look at him and the creatures fled. As this continued the Lords began to understand that this was a powerful man and wondered what they had really gotten themselves into. As the number of attacks decreased so as to reach a near standstill, Zanar again approached the Lords of the three kingdoms. His requests for payment of his help were simple. He wanted a tower that would allow him to view the three kingdoms and privacy. The Lords knowing that it was one of the simplest requests they could have received, set their best men to work on this tower. A hundred years of peace and prosperity followed the completion of the tower and all were content with the happenings in the world of Falcacia. The original Lords and their descendants held biyearly conferences, which Zanar was most welcome to attend, to discuss the state of Falcacia. Zanar was the only ?outsider? to enter in these conferences and the only outlander to come to Falcacia in five hundred years of recorded history. Little was known about Zanar but information was much sought after when he disappeared. It was unknown how it occurred but many rumours have risen from the events. To Be Continued I will add more of the story at a later date as i get around to editing to rest of the prologue. I'm also considering using the planned storyline as an RPG as it could work.
19. I wouldn't say they were the greatest band from Victoria but they are a great band. Staeling Chairs was the first album I bought of theirs and I loved it. I'm waiting for their next CD and don' know if there is a release date yet. I can't find the single anywhere which i know is out.
20. I would have to agree with all those people who said the Dragon ball series all three are pretty sad. DBGT i think is better because they didn't devote four to five episodes on a single battle. All of you who said Trigun, I respond "shame on you." I watched the series and loved it. It is absolutely hilarious even the last eight or so episodes where it becomes serious. I can't believe that people would not enjoy it.
21. Name: David (Ando) Anderson Age: 18 Gender: Male Appearance: See Attachment Personality: Ando is what people would refer to as a Goth. His ideas are always dark and frightening, which comes out in his art work. Ando is an intravert and though he is part of a few groups always keeps to himself. Ando always carries around a discman or MP3 player which is continously on, playing the Gothic music he loves so much. He is also a pessimist and one of his favourite lines is, "I like being a pessimist. If something good happens I'm pleasantly surprised." Ando also has a short fuse and if something really offence is said he will react immediately. Bio: Ando doesn't talk with his parents much and prefers to think of them as social outcasts staying as far away from them as possible. That is why he talked his parents into sending him to a boarding school. He is not overly fond at school preferring to work on his art, but he finds it better than being near his parents. Ando was always called gifted when it came to his artwork but until he entered boarding school he never had a chance to allow his talent flourish. He loves anything to do with art and is also gifted in creative writing and drama. He prefers not to show off his talents in front of other people. (The picture for his appearance is a caricature he drew of himself a couple of years back). His Gothic appearance is in some senses a facade. He attempts to hide who he truelly is. He does like the gothic music and appearance but he only uses the extremes of appearance so people don't get too close. He does not like getting hurt as he was hurt internally (spirtually) many times in his younger years. Lessons Taken: History, English Drama, Graphic Design, Art Extra: Basketball Team, Art/Manga Club
22. From what has been said about the first two episodes it sounds like it is a prequel for Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040. There is no background for the AD Police in it and so they probably decided to make a series to fill in the gaps.
23. OOC: Prime was a great game so i hope this gets started. Name: Seerian Mandralves Age (20-40 for either race): 20 Gender (For humans only): Male Race (Human or Space Pirate): Human 4 B list upgrades(For humans only): Flamethrower, wavebuster, spiderball, diffusion missiles OOC: i hope this is ok. If you want me to add a bio or personality PM me.
24. As Lednar entered the Inn he looked for a corner where he could sit himself and not be noticed. The red cape would be an easy marker for anyone looking for him though. He began to think he should have left it in his pack but he could be easily marked by his features. Having been raised by the Zoras he had gained distinctive features that were not common. He paid for a room for the night and a light meal. He sat himself down in a dark corner where it would be easy for him to meld in with the shadows. Lednar was taking in his surroundings when he noticed a man walk in with two girls. Man, he's going to get lucky, was the first thing that crossed his mind as he watched the man take the girls up to a room. Soon after, though, the same man came down by himself. This confused Lednar. As he watched the man order a large meal, he noticed a wanted poster hanging on one of the walls that looked similar to this unusual man. Lednar gaped at the amount of food that this man, probably no older than himself, had purchased. It seemed like an extraordinary amount. Now that is impressive. Two men got up and approached the man from behind. One wielded a large sword which he brought down narrowly missing the mysterious man, but shattering his sword in the process. The other pulled out a bow as the man turned around, shooting him but doing no visible damage. That's enough, Lednar thought. He stood and unhooked his scyth from his pack. He approached the two attackers so as to help the man unsure of whether he was doing the right thing. It was in his nature anyway to help those who were in need. OOC: The first character with the sword I believe is Cloud from FF7. I'm unsure on who the second cameo is. I might need a bit more information than his tunic colour and his weapon.
25. Lednar held his scyth in one had out to the side, leaving his guard open so as to tempt the Stalfos to attack him. They were slowly circling each other, judging what the other would do. He charged the creature expecting it to be in the same slow unreactive state as most other Stalfos. The creature jumped to the left easily dodging Lednar's attack. As he turned he saw the creature making a counter attack to which he easily parried. The Stalfos came at him again. He jumped the attack and as he was just above the Stalfos, chopped of its head. The Stalfos stumbled around a bit, and came to, turning around to face him again. The headless creature was almost a shock to Lednar but he remembered that nothing these days was normal. "Damn you," he yelled at the creature, making another charge. This time he succeeded in getting under the creatures guard and brought his scyth straight through the creature, turning it into a pile of bones. Lednar looked around making sure that there were no more creatures around. Once he was certain he slumped to the ground and pulled out his flask. He took a swig and thought about the battle. It's unusual for a Stalfos to be intelligent. He thought to himself, but that was how it had seemed. The Stalfos had seemed to read his attacks perfectly, at least while it had a head. He had expected to get the battle over and done with quickly, but that had not been the case. He looked around taking note of his location. Fabul Port was less than a mile from his location. It seemed to him unusual that a Stalfos should be so close to a town. Since the great Link had defeated Ganon very few monsters had been seen, but the number of monster attacks had increased drastically. He had been attacked numerous times on his journey from Zora's Domain to Fabul Port. He rose to his feet and continued his way. He believed he would be able to obtain information on what the cause for the increase in monster attacks was. His journey had begun after Zora's Domain was attacked directly and a few of his friends injured. As he entered the gates of Fabul Port he asked for directions to the Inn from the guard on duty who seemed to be close to sleep. It will be great to get a hot meal and a soft bed to sleep in. Was all that came to his mind as he made his way down the main street. He would start his search for information on the morrow.
