I guess if you thought of it technically then its not really anime, and the styles are a bit different, but some people who actually aren't japanese are influenced by animes that had already been made, so the cartoons are similar, and just as good

I can't seem to stop playing a game once I start, unless the game is completely terrible, I feel like I lost or something if I don't complete it, I could see myself playing an RPG I've never played before and then just stopping, wouldn't you want to know what happens? Anyway, I've beaten tons of games, to many to list, but, I figured I'd list some of my favorites. 1. Suikoden 3- I've mentioned this in several posts, just cause, well, I like it lol. It has 108 characters about 80 of you can use in battle. Its fun to play through the game, I've beaten it several times. 2. Finaly Fantasy (VII through X-2)- I liked basically all the final fantasy I've played, but I seem to like the later set a bit more. Its very involved. 3. Star Ocean (All)- I love the Star Ocean series, its definitely one of my favorites. 4. Star Wars: KOTOR- I like this series, the games are solid and fun to play.

Name: Tsuke Shishomi Age: 16 Cause of Death: Killed in a mugging. Personality: Tsuke was always a somewhat outgoing person. He was a nice guy, who had friends, but he enjoyed his alone time. He was somewhat vulnerable, when it came to women. Appearance: Tsuke was of a medium height at about 5'8-5'9. He was somewhat muscular, he used his free time to attend a nearby gym. He usually wore baggy pants and regular shoes. This particular day he wore black pants, a black vest and a white undershirt. Weapon Of Choice: A claw consisting of 3 blades, each about a foot long. Bio: Tsuke grew up without a father, just him and his mother. He loved his mother, very much. He felt as though he never needed a father. I mean, he'd never met his own before, and he turned out just fine. He had a life long friend in a girl named Kura. She never knew, but he was quite fond of her. They joked, but Tsuke loved her. Lately Tsuke was becoming more distant from his friends and family. He now spent most of his time alone, reading, training, he did it all by himself. Sample of Character: Tsuke awoke to a loudly rining bell, he slowly rose his head from his desk and noticed the school day had finally come to an end. He use to do well in school but lately he had no ambition to even pay attention. He gathered his things and began his walk through the hallway on his way home. Just before he reached the door he was stopped by Kura "Hey Tsuke, I've got the greatest news." Tsuke quickly awoke from his half-asleep slumbering state and put a smile on for Kura. "Really, what is it?" "I've found myself a boyfriend, hes so sweet, I can't wait for you to meet him, I bet you guys'll get along great." Tsuke, mustered up the strength to say "Yeah, I bet." And soon after was walking home from school. All he could think of was Kura, her knew boyfriend, what could he have that Tsuke didn't have? Tsuke began to list all the positive things about himself in his head. He began to re-assure himself that this relationship would be just like the last and Kura would come back to him like she always did. We he finally reached home he was so out of energy he went to his room and collapsed. He awoke late in the middle of the night and couldn't seem to get back to sleep. He found himself staring at the cieling and thinking. He always did his best thinking outside, sometimes he just needed a quick breath of air. He got dressed and began his walk around the block. Everything was dark but he was never very paranoid. He figured he could take care of himself. As he walked along the street, with his hands in his pockets he stopped. He looked up to the sky and saw a shooting star, he closed his eyes and began to imagine what he wanted most in life. Before his eyes were even open he was grabbed and pulled into an ally, a knife to his neck. He became frantic and looked over his shoulder to see a masked figure. "All your money boy, now." Tsuke wouldn't stand for this, if there was anytime not to bother him it was now. Tsuke, acted as though to reach in his pocket, however he elbowed the dark figure in the stomach. "You'll get nothing from me." shouted Tsuke. He kicked the knife from the dark figures hand and punched him the face. The figure flew back into some trash cans and arose. Tsuke went for another strike and the figure pulled out a second knife from his sleeve and stabbed Tsuke in his stomach. He fell the ground grabbing his new found hole. Blood dripped from his fingers as he looked up at the figure. "Your a fool boy, you should have known better. Although you tried to escape, I wish not for you to suffer." The figure then put the knife to Tsuke's neck, and his life was ended. The figure walked away from the lifeless body now laying in the street, remorse unfounded.

as much as I love new rock/metal, I love the old stuff as well, I like old metal like Slayer, Iron Maiden, Ozzy, etc, but this post seems a bit more conservative, so I'll conform with the rest by saying, AC/DC, Queen, and The Doors, are a few of my favorite oldies

well, I noticed people placing different poetry and such, so I figure I'd post something I had written, its actually a song, once you read the lyrics if you wanna actually listen to the song PM me or something and I'll give you a site where you can listen to it... I Miss You, I Love You i gave everything i had and still you turn away if it wasn't enough nothing in this world will be since you're living this life only for yourself just know that i lived mine for you too i gave you the world and it wasn't good enough so i gave you my life and still you're not satisfied you say its hurting you but i promise this hurts me more you're all alone and i've done all that i can do so you tell me its way too hard to make it on your own you can do all things through me, so why are you running away? you're searching for the things that you're missing but the only thing you're missing is me i miss you i love you i've done all that i can do i've done my part now its up to you

I don't really have any generic fears, I mean, I don't really like bugs or spiders or whatever, but I can touch them, hold them, and it doesn't really bother me, I share the classic fear, however, of ending up alone, which I'm everyone feels now and then

I'm not quite sure if I'd actually go back and change things, as many mistakes as I've made, you'd think I'd be intent on changing them, but they made me the person I am today, and changing the past means changing the future, theres a lot of things I wish I could've done differently at the time, but as time passes I understand better the action I made and why I made it, and I'm able to live life with no regrets

I'm just one of the many here to support James in his new endeavor lol, I kinda new as well, but I took some time to read your previous work, and I'm impressed, I like wonka, although I can't really say its my cup of tea, I like the idea, I want to see how it plays out, but next time you begin a nice, violent, hack-n-slash rpg, I'd love to be a part of it, its more my thing :p

you mentioned the main theme, well, I havn't seen evry episode of the series, but I thought the philosopher's stone was the main story? I mean they do entwine different characters and such to Ed and Al, but from what I've seen almost every episode is based on the transfering of Al to his body through the philosopher's stone

yeah, it definitely lacks in the break-down area, I'm not so sure its a terrible thing, but Memphis Will Be Laid To Waist is definitely one of my favorite songs, and it has several break-downs, they probably should've gone the middle route, some songs with break-downs, and others not, but maybe they are trying to drift away, they probably want to evolve, and not do things they've done in the past

I was drawn to it as well, I don't mean to sound insensitive, but it was quite the story, its definitely unfortunate though, a women like yourself, seemingly bright, who I'm sure had several things going for her, had her life interrupted by someone undeserving to be their, once again, not meaning to be insensitive, but its hard not to insult someone who negatively impacted your life so willingly, anyway, as far as the writing goes, I liked it, I was very interested, and enjoyed reading it

I'm looking forward to the Hypnotize as well, I noticed there was lots of NIN fans here, someone has to explain to me whats good about them, I've listened to them and its basically slow and technoish :animesigh
-
yeah, I know Norma Jean is christian, its just a little less blatant then underoath, if you get what I'm saying. and I agree, bless the martyr, kiss the child was definitely a better cd, O' God the Aftermath has a new feel to it that I like

ahh yes, kirby was definitely a fun game, its weird, I love the intricate RPG's of today, but its insanely fun to play old games for SNES like Mario, Kirby, Contra, etc, you'd think "wow, those graphics are terrible", but it doesn't even bother me :animestun

I wasn't really "floored" by the show, but its alright, thats really all I can say, which leads me to believe why I even watch it, I mean, when you compare it to some of your favorite animes, does it really stand a chance? it doesn't against mine anyway, hopefully it'll get better and in this case, I'm hoping to stand corrected

Azurewolf was mad at Dirt for being rude and calling Rider's post stupid, and then continued to critque elfpirate's entire post with quite rude comments *confused* anyway, I don't really think sexism is needed, or it helps to advance our society in any kind of way, I just don't like judgement, sexual or not, I don't believe its right to judge a person on anything other then the person themselves, man or women, its easy to designate between the two (hopefully), what really matters is what they think, their POV, and thinking of someone as less of as person just because they're the opposite sex of yourself, is just stupid
-
well, thats a unique point of view lol, idk, I was never much for believing in spiritual "mumbo jumbo" I was always one who always believed in the here and the now, rather then the past, and what will happen to me when I die, I think it helps me to live life to the fullest
-
it does sound kind of side when you compare the people who actual get the lethal injection to animals, it does sound cruel, but its death, how "un-cruel" can it be, and even if it is cruel, why should it be nice for them? was it nice for the people they killed? I doubt it, they're death should be no more peaceful then their victims

I couldn't pick just one, so heres 3... I'm a big fan of FF7 as well, I don't think theres a game I've spent more time on, considering I've beaten it so many times, I wanted to do all the character combinations, get all the materia, etc. I really liked Suikoden III, I've seen VI and well, it looks terrible lol, but Suikoden III was definitely one of my favorite games, it had 108 characters characters for god sake Lastly I liked Star Ocean 2, Star Ocean 3 was of course really good, but Star Ocean 2 is the one that really got me into the series

I definitely loved the cowboy bebop movie, most people have seen it, but if you didn't I think its coming to CN sometime soon? anyway, like said above, if its gunplay you want this is definitely the movie for you, spikes my hero :p

You have my condolences as well, its never easy to lose someone, especially when its someone you care for, and although it doesn't seem fair, its a natural process of life, people live and die, and from what I read, it seems like he lived life, the way it was supposed to be lived, he had friends, people who care for him, and people to mourn him, he lived among friends, and died among them as well, but don't worry, you'll see him again, until then, just remember, hes watching, so be good

Gaming Cartoony RPGs (I.E. Phantom Brave, Shining Tears etc.)
Kamuro replied to 2010DigitalBoy's topic in Noosphere
well, cartoony or not, theres a lot of good rpg's for PS2, just because its not a big name, or you havn't heard of it before doesn't mean its not a good game, theres lots of random RPG's for PS2 that don't get much recognition, but they're good -
wow, I would expect a grandia sequel to well...suck lol, the only Grandia game that I was actually ambitious enough to finish was Grandia: Xtreme, which was pretty bad, but I got pretty far and figured, why not? But those graphics look very impressive, and so do the characters, although I can't read japanese, its from Square Enix, so I'm sure the story is good, me wants
