I play acoustic guitar, its not like I'm famous or anything, but I love playing shows and such, I can give a link where you can listen to some of my stuff if you like? on another note, no, I wasn't really asking for advice, but it is appreciated, I'm sure all guys here could improve on something, I mean, I try to be romantic best I can, I wrote a song for a former girlfriend and played it for her in private, and at an actual show I dedicated it to her, I usually give flowers on Valentine's Day, since I can't really think of anything else, but the post was just to find out what other girls liked, maybe other ideas or things I could do, when I actually get a gf, cause now, I don't have one lol
2. I like the FMA banner, if you look at it for a bit, you'll actually notice the background popping out at you, unless I'm just stoned or something, the stewie icon does jump, but really, how many good stewie icons do you see, its hard find a really good scene to re-enact on a banner or avatar, I think the brian banners are alright, I'm not a huge huge fan, but I like the way the way they look
3. I like parodys, but kung fu is a played out parody if you ask me, Kung Pao, Beverly Hills Ninga, and tons of other parodys on "kung fu", and people always move their mouths for minutes while only saying a couple words, hopefully this one will be different, cause if not, I'm afraid it won't be good :animesigh
4. I also thought the bosses of the Onimusha series were quite boring. Especially in the Onimusha 3, if you go through the last dark realm and get his final weapon, the boss dies in 3-4 hits
5. SunfallE makes a good point, I guess discrimination does have some kind of purpose, but is it really worth it? people overcome adversity, but at what cost? No offense to the African Americans of this forum, but everytime I see a black person, getting in trouble, or being blamed for something, whether he did it or not, he brings up slavery, and his ancestors hundreds of years ago. I mean c'mon, you weren't a slave, you weren't tortured, and I never tortured you. I get the blunt of your anger because people of my color enslaved your's hundreds of years ago. I don't really think discrimination is worth the flak created by the subject.
6. I forgot Ghost in the Shell, the movies were quite good, better then the show if you ask me, not to discount the show, I just liked the movies better
7. I agree in this case, Rurouni Kenshin and Trigun are very similar, but you have to take in account a lot of the other animes that are very very different. There is similarities in anime, because writers are inspired but animes already made, ideas are set in place and an anime lacking certain things just isn't worth watching, and although shows like Rurouni Kenshin and Trigun are similar, a lot of people watch them for the characters, story development, etc, that has nothing to do with the main quest of the story for example, people hear the story of Rurouni Kenshin "A medievil japanese swordman, quick as lightning and just as deadly...who refuses to kill any longer", people say, thats not cool, c'mon, but lots of people still watch the show
8. I'm straight as well, but people who have a problem with gay or bisexual people really get on my nerves, this is america, and you are able to choose your own religion, who or what to worship, yet you can't choose who you want to be with? a lot of people have a problem with it because the bible says its wrong, well, all I have to say is grow up, life is hard enough already, people need support, not the judgement of those around them, and no one is perfect, so no one has the right to criticize another person for their beliefs
9. gas is about $2.30 here (maryland), and agreed, its outrageous, I have lots of places to go, and I'm always driving/being driven and paying for gas is one of the biggest money problems I have, I'm only 16, and money is hard to come by, so spending so much on gas is really iritating
10.
I wouldn't change the past. I may have suffered, but suffering was necessary. I learned a valuable lesson, one that a lot of people around me haven't quite figured out yet
someone who finally supports me, yay lol, things that we've done and experiences we've lived through are important, and are not meant to be changed
11. I doubt huge mechwarriors will be sold to the mass media, people go on killing sprees enough already, I don't think they need another even more devastating weapon to go around killing people and crushing things

well, some people got the point of the post, others didn't, I wasn't asking for advice, just a discussion, I know every girl is different but I know there is some things that every girl wants, and even if not, what do you want, the post was directed at women, and what they wanted, not specifically every girl, I'm a musician, and well, girls seem to be drawn to that in the first place, girls are always at shows and such, I don't have a problem getting a girlfriend, but the post was started, so we could discuss what girls wanted, and maybe it would help out all the guys here, not just me, maybe it would help us all to treat our girlfriends better anyway, thanks to all the girls that posted, reading your thoughts on here sort of makes me feel close to some of you, so its important what you think
13. that does apply to many, but I guess I'm just special lol, I don't lead a blessed life, its anything but actually, however, I don't think I would go back and change things, maybe its cause I'd have to admit the several mistakes I've made, and they were so bad I actually had to fix them, but I just don't think I would, pleased or not, I love the people I know, and even though they do, I'd never want them to change, and hopefully they wish the same for me
14. I havn't played it yet but I've been seeing mad advertising for it, and lots of good reviews, all you see the whole commercial is 9.9 andA 10 REVIEW, its crazy, but it looks really good, although I was never much of a fan of 3rd-person shooters, I might just buy this one
15. is this post asking something? lol, not much to reply to, but yeah, hanging out with bands is definitely cool, I hung with Norma Jean at a show they played around here, its even better finding out bands that you really like actually have nice guys in them, Norma Jean was really cool and I loved talking with them, I hung with The Spill Canvas as well at an acoustic show I played, they were awesome as well, since I didn't really know what the post was asking, I figured I'd just say my own band experiences
16. There was a thread started recently asking for love advice, and I tried my best to help him out, but its hard to give advice on something that isn't all that clear to me. I wonder all the time (as do many other guys) how women tick. What goes on inside their head, its interesting, at least to me. I've met some cool girls on here, and posts are usually pretty open, so I figured why not ask for a kind of "census" on what they want. What makes you smile? What can a guy do to sweep you off your feet? I've had girlfriends, and I'm not completely retarded to the issue, and I have a few ideas myself of what they might want, but thats the point, its just an idea. So if the girls in the forum take the time to read this post, help me out.
17. I read the e-mail and it failed to mention the prices of gas at each of the mentioned gas stations, I could really care less where its from, its become so expensive I don't care if dying children in Africa made it, as long as its cheap lol, I'm all for boycotting those who do the same to us, but not at an extra cost to myself
18. yes, a situation that cloud calls "limbo" is pretty unbearable, if you stay there to long, you will be torn apart, and as he said, this situation isn't really in your hands, however, there are things you can do #1-You need to talk to her, its really important that during this time you guys stay as close as possible, if you really want this girl, then you can't just get weirded out or nervous and give yourself space from each other, it won't work, at least not for you. #2-When you do talk to her, ask her how she really feels, about you, and Jeff. And if she felt so strongly for Jeff, then why did she take it upon herself to become intimate with you. I know she likes you, but if she really liked Jeff as much as she says, then it would be cut and dry, Jeff, and not you. But thats not the case. #3-If I was in your position, well, I'm a hopeless romantic and I would go for the girl. I've been hurt before, but if you always give up, or contain yourself in a shell, you'll never find the one for you. And you and this girl seem to have some kind of connection thats worth pursuing. If you care for this girl, then you'll make it happen, and if she cares about you, then she'll do the same. Good luck
19. Location: Unknown, close to his former kingdom Sam had been working as a smith in a small town outside of his former kingdom of Iran. In his area of work he had been consulted several times by a mystery man named "Panther" looking for exquisite weapons ready for use. Sam made some of the best weapons around and was in need of money so agreed to Panther's request dispite his suspicion. Panther never actually visited his shop. He sent letters, messengers, and other forms of communication without physically talking to Sam. His last request required Sam to deliver him weapons at his current location. A small quiet town near the one Sam was staying. Sam strapped his covered broadsword to his back. He had somewhat mummified his sword since he was unable to carry it in the open in most cities, but he never went anywhere without it. He also loaded himself down with a bag of several weapons Panther had requested and began his journey. When Sam finally reached the town he entered the inn and sat down at the table panther had informed him too, he removed his broadsword and baggage from his back and sat down. He was soon accompanied by a shadowed figure wearing a robe that conceiled his face. Sam presented him with the weapons, no words were spoken. The figure slid him the money across the table and Sam placed it in his pocket. Just when Sam arose from his seat to be on his way, the mysterious figure grabbed his arm, and spoke "Boy, I noticed that immense sword your carrying, looking for a fight are you?" Sam sat back down and shook his head "No, it was my father's and I take it wherever I go." Sam was quite confused as to why the mysterious figure had begun to speak with him, he couldn't see any of the figures facial expressions, and with nothing to read, Sam was clueless. "Can you even use the sword boy?" asked the figure. "Yes, very well indeed." answered Sam. The dark figure made a noise implying he was pondering something, and from his sleeve slid a ticket. Sam gave a puzzled look and the figure spoke "I have been looking for skilled fighters to assist me with certain "problems" I've been running into." "I don't believe I understand, what are you saying" asked Sam. "Do not worry boy, all will be revealed in due time, but for now, I'd like you to take this ticket and fly to Barcelona, Spain where you will meet up with other fighters I have recruited for this mission." Sam's thinking was interrupted by "It pays well, very well indeed." Sam was intrigued by the mystery of the situation, and the money was enough to easily persuade him to become a part of the man's mission. "I accept." And the deal was done. The ticket switched hands and Sam began his trip to Spain.
20. I wasn't aware of the actual technological limits of the RPG, I PMed the thread starter before I even posted and they told me to have fun with it, so, I did, anyway, I didn't really know the exact definition of android, it was a term used loosely, the character is human, however, a part of his body is mechanical, so I wasn't quite sure what to call it, and android came to mind, with all the spells, abilities, etc, I didn't believe an actual mechanical arm was a technological advance considering the magic in place in the story? oh well, if Shinkoru disagrees with the character we can modify it, or I can resign from the RPG, no worries

22. I love Family Guy, and it would be a shame to see it any different then it was originally, but I don't believe it will be, could you really see a conventional and politically correct family guy? its the exact opposite of the show, no one would watch it if it was different
23. true, it could benefit you in a positive way, but wouldn't you feel a bit empty, and miss the way things were before? even if life wasn't perfect, I think thats the way its supposed to do, if we could all go back and fix things then theres really no point in having them occur in the first place, if you think about it, would you really want things to be perfect, would you rather change things to your liking just because it didn't go the way you planned? I'd say no
24. Name: Trace Lionhart Age: 26 Race: Human/Android Class: Mercenary Height: 5'11 Weight: 160 lbs. Years ago the town had been attacked and burt down, and although time has passed and it has been re-built, the citizens of the town are still weary about bringing themselves back into the spot light. Trace grew up as a regular kid, but he yearned to leave his small town. He was adventurous, and ever since he was young he had a fascination with doing the impossible. He loved the challenge of bettering himself and he loved to win. He became a Guardian of the town at just 16 (a very young age for a Dabarian Soldier). One day scouting the area around the village he was attacked and his arm was removed from his body. They chose to left him alive, an intent to make him suffer no doubt. He was soon found by his comrades everything he was carrying had been stolen and he layed bloodied on the ground, passed out. He woke up in his bed, he sat up and reached for a glass of water, he noticed however, that his arm, was no longer skin. He had been given a metal arm he had claws for fingers and steel all the way up to his shoulder. He jumped back in awe at his new apendage and began to move it to make sure he wasn't dreaming. This became his new ambition as a Guardian. He was originally right handed, so he began to train with his left hand, mastering weapons in his good hand was hard enough, but in his left hand, he thought it impossible. But after years of training he had become the best Guardian Dabar had ever seen. At the age of 26 he left on his long awaited adventure, he wasn't quite sure where he was going or why, but he knew that he needed to leave, see the world, and avenge his newly limb.
