Rapture

A few hours into the large mountains, Kenneth slowed to a stop, looking at a lone barren tree amongst the stones, not a trace of foliage to be found on it. Instead, there were several crows, all silent, all watching him. One of them fluttered a bit before flying twards him and dropping a note onto the ground directly infront of him, landing back onto the small barren tree. Reaching down, he picked it up, unrolling it in the process. To the summoned ones, whomever gets this letter is the first to get this far. We request that you wait for the others that were summoned to us, to be more efficent. From this point on its only a days journey, so you are not far. Please wait for the rest of them, so as you can all meet before coming to us- This is to aid you as well. You'll see. Kenneth rolled the scroll up silently, nodding to the crow as he slipped it into a pocket. He walked over to a moderately sized boulder, sitting down on it and shifting uncomfortablely. Kenneth: I must live too close to this place or am the only one in a rush to get here.. He closed his eyes silently.. And waited, the very crow that had given him the letter flying off down the path, a serene silence falling.

Rapture

The treeline ended suddenly, an aburpt halt to such a massive forest that stretched far beyond his mansion to right where he was summoned- It just halted, no slow clearing, nothing- There simply were no more trees, caution overwhelming him from the suspicious nature of the sudden clearing he was in. But there it was- The lone path that lead straight up into the massive mountainous territories the letter directed to, it forgotten in the river of time, only a few lone elders knowing its location. A strong clap of thunder sounded from overhead, dark clouds overtakeing the white, a steady fall of rain drenching his cloathes. Ignoring it, he picked up the pace to a steady spring, jumping up onto the rough rocky path, its end behind a mountain ahead. Kenneth: Damnit.. I thought I was near done with this.. He slowed and looked to a small tree with a rock underneath it, tempted to sit and rest, but quickly putting the thought out of his mind- No rest for the weary, even if he had been running for weeks on end. He resumed running, several paths from differing directions joining the main one he was on- It seemed to be heading to this unknown location to which he was summoned. Nodding to himself, he picked up the pace, his aim to arrive at the spot within 2 days.. maybe he'll see some of the other peopel that were summoned. Glanceing at a path he was passing he knew that they were coming on those paths, at whatever pace they willed- It was only a matter of time intill they met.
5. I beat it with all the characters just now.. I guess i'm doing the secret scenario now. ^_^
6. Kenratu: Why is everyone congregating in the middle of a forest? Out for tea? The scenery is choice, I must say. A look of annoyance came over Kenratus face as he glanced at Ulrich and Mykkael, back to the shades who were still dumbfounded at Arano and Kenratu's combined presence. Kenratu glanced at Arano, who was emotionless at best, then back to Mykkael and Ulrich, and finally on the Shades, the shock on their faces waining. Shade: That traitor.. That traitor right there. He.. Kenratu: Speak in paragraphs. It helps. Another shade walked to Kenratu, bowing before starting his own explination of the events, in a much calmer way then the other had attempted. Shade: We overhead him, you see it seems- Kenratu: Nevermind. I just stopped giving a damn. Just get prepare for tomorrow, whatever that 'Traitor' does will prove more interesting than you explaining it. Kenratu walked foreward, passing by Ulrich and Mykkael, dissappearing between the foliage that blocked out the soon, the hint of necromatic mana lingering in the air from the power he hid..
7. Ken stood to the side, three balls flying through the air in a pattern consistantly, his eyes watching each of them carefully, locked in a seperate pattern from the balls, his ceoncentration unwavering. Ken: Hey look. I'm juggleing. Neil: .. Why the hell are you juggleing? Ken: Honestly? I dont know. Neil: Catch. A small glass flew into the array of balls, entering the pattern flawlessly as he continued to juggle, a look of great contentment forming on Ken's face from the smooth tranistion he had just achieved. Neil: Too easy for you, try this on for size. A chair flew through the air and into the unsuspecting Ken, hitting him square in the face, the glass shattering on the floor as the balls slowly roll for a moment after landing. Ken murmered something, his face smashed between the wall and chair, a few flakes from the wall scattered around him. Neil: I thought you were supposed to be agile.. Another murmer, a bit louder this time, came from Ken as he shifted the chair off and to the side, getting up and dusting himself off, sitting the same chair. Ken: I'll get you for that man. I swear I will.. He jokingly pointed at Neil as he said that, a grin forming on his face, a hole in the wall now resting where the impact had taken place..
8. Kenratu: There is no possible.. He disappeared. But he's alive.. hmm. At least rumors can be put to rest now. Tendrils of the highly dark-innate mana began to flow from his arms, the mana from his body and the idle dark-mana in the air freely flowing between each other, causeing the small tentacles of the magical energy to slowly twist and dance from his body into the air. He examined the structure carefully as he approached, a hint of caution in his eyes. Kenratu: ...... Hmm. He landed on the outer surface of the pyramid, near the very top, and glanced out across the vastness of the terrain around him- This structure was truely gargantuan beyond all imagination, the dark energy courseing through the very material of the building. His eye spotted the enterance much further down the surface, and he lept a bit, glideing down to the enterance, where he hovered as his wings beat into the air continually. Kenratu: Nice enterance.
9. -.-; I must be the only hardcore metal head around this board. meh. THe songs arent all that depressing really. lol, but 'This Time' strikes a chord with me sometimes.
10. I like. Going to expand?
11. Anyone here listen to Life of Agony? They are a heavy metal band from the early nineties on. If you'd like to get a taste of one of their songs, "This Time" is on Kazaa and most respective P2P downloaders. I really like that song, among others. Highly reccomended by the DeathKnight. ^_-

14. No. They are fighting for an opinon, generally not their own- It isnt America's opinon either, its the Presidents opinon that Iraq is a threat to America, along with other members of his cabinet and party, so he sends the soldiers there to nullify the threat he thinks is there- And thats his opinon, not the opinon of all the people in America, as shown by the demonstrations. They are fighting for the poloticians veiws, not the veiws of the general people.

17. How about. PYSCHO [YOU KNOW IT] STAB SOMEONE PYSCHO [WE SHOW IT] STAB SOMEONE WE'RE PYSCHO AND YOU KNOW IT, CRIMSON ON THE FLOOR SMOKING GUN HERE AND NOW FOREVER MORE I dont know. I'm pyschopathic. Dont listen to my songs, they are demonized. :D
18. I generally just start a conversation with the general types of questions. "Hows it going"; "How are you"; "How was your day". If they respond negetively about any of the above, IE they had a bad day, then I try to cheer them up somehow. If its an old friend, I generally know what kind of topics they enjoy talking about, so I work on that. But, if all else fails- Random spurts of insane rambleings that cause massive head trauma always work.

20. I called upon a Bard one day, For him my whole life to weigh. He had much within him to say, Although much of it was a bit cliche, Leaving me with boredom only to display. Till finally I had to chase him away But alas- His services I still had to pay!
21. *Stabs Him For How Much He Hates That Poem.* Irony is the lowest form of wit.
22. Perhaps both. I'm glad someone found that funny. [inserted it there for comedic purposes]
23. In the end its up to the person's own guilt or lack thereof what type of entertainment materials they buy. Personally, I find it somewhat idiotic since it is not real- Entertainment should be censored for minors, yes, but if you are an adult then you are free to do what you wish with your money, within the boundries of the law. If you are a Christian and see a game like Doom, Clive Barker's Undying, or a boxed set of DnD rules on the shelf and feel that it would threaten your faith, or its something sinful, then I respect your opinon. But if I myself want to buy a game like that, then I wish not to be condemned for it or have a sudden movement be made to ban it from everyones use, thats a bit rash. The thing is, with every form of entertainment you could become heavily addicted, it just seems to happen moreso with the varying types of games- it isnt the devil at work, its merely human emotion in my opinon. I'm sure if Satan wanted to find a way to demonize people, he could be a bit more creative than Dungeons and Dragons, lol. Now, off I go to play Xenosaga..
24. Name: Kenneth Howell Codename: DeathKnight Age: 24 Height: 6'8 Appearance: Tall and slender, but still keeping muscles, he towers above most everyone. He has long, black hair that drapes just above his shoulder, his bangs covering his emerald green eyes, somewhat like a curtain. He has a few scars along his arms, aside from that he appears to be a normal member of society. Muscles aside, he is quite agile, prefering hand to hand combat to more heavy weaponry, the only gun he uses being a pistol. Personality: Cheerful, witty, comedic. He is a more cynical, jester-like figure that keeps morale high. But in a fight, he becomes highly intelligent and cunning, even to the point of sadism. Old friends of Neil ['Havoc']. Preferred Gear: Swords, Light Pistols, Daggers, Claws. More Ninja-Esque weaponry, his more favorite payload being a single Katana-like sword, rangeing from the length of a Bastard sword to a long dagger, and a pistol to effectively close off ranged and close combat. Often refered to as 'The Assassain' for these qualities, but he doesnt care.
25. Kenratu: This gathering does have a purpose- trust me. Everyone turned to see Kenratu upon the podium, in a sort of kingly glory it seemed, the wisdom and anger in his eyes fluttering consitantly back and forth. He pointed to the northeast and silence ensued, a few heads turning dumbly to where he was pointing. Kenratu: In that direction lays a moderately big human establishment- Its a city, a metropolis in the makeing with over one million people within it. That is our next target for attack. I have a few reminders from my council to tell you all. Firstly, remember somt of them have awakened, a few more than others. They shouldnt to be able to stop you, but if they can, remember that you yourselfs also have seconadry abilites aside from the physical aspects. If you have forgotten what those are, we, thankfully, do have a highly skilled master of the paranormal with us- Fresh from our home. He has a tent over there in which he can tell you how to use your powers to the fullest. Kenratu pointed to a more mystical looking tent, runes encrusted upon it, a lone light shining out of it ominously. A few shades nodded silently after makeing a mental note of it, before returning their attention to Kenratu. Kenratu: Aside from that, we will be leaving in the morning at sunrise sharp, if any humans attack us then do not hesitate to elminate them. Take your time to prepare yourselfs, that city will most likely be defended militaryily. We have set up a blacksmith for those of you that use weapons, his tent can be found over there. Another point of the finger, a lone Shade murmering "Great, now our leader is a press secratary". Kenratu cursed in Shade at the witty comedian, before returning back the small list that he held in his hands. Kenratu: Human meat is going to be distrubted evenly amongst our people, my advisor warns 'not to eat it all at once'- **** this. Thats all, anything else you'll have to figure out on your own. Kenratu walked off the stage emotionless, as the Shade Advisor ran to the podium and listed off a few other things, reminding them that it was tomorrow morning was the start of the next attack. Kenratu silently sat down and took out a pack of cigarettes he had stolen, lightning it with a small lighter he had found as well. As he puffed, he relaxed a bit, frayed nerves snapping in his mind..
