2.
Originally posted by lea2385 well, duh, where do you think isreal is getting all of its money to attack palastine? the sky? other countries?
Does Israel gets all of it's money from the US? Does one really need to mention the US when something wrong happens but completely leave out the US when something good happens? Face it they're anti-US and VERY anti-jew.
 3.
Originally posted by Molleta How can you say that the BBC-BRITISH Broadcasting Corp. is unAmerican?? Did you not notice Tony Blair charging into war right behind Bush??? I know Blair has nothing to do with the BBC, but the was a sizeable following for it in England (please, correct me if I'm wrong, please).
Because BBC is anti-American. Every single one of their articles has a slant towards the poor moslems that are being executed by American weapons by the evil jews that are also faking the holocaust.
 4.
Originally posted by lea2385 ah, of course! america can do no wrong!!! america is always right, you know (notice the sharp sting of sarcasm, for those who cant tell)
No, it's more like "Look at what AMERIKKKA is doing to this children!!!! WElL NOT DIRECTLY DOING BUT THROUGH ISRALeE... WELL THEY WERE ONLY RETALIATIGN TO TERRORISTs!!! BUT EVIL AMERIKKKA!!!!"
 5.
Originally posted by Carr ok. I have a question: When you get pulled over for speeding and the officer lets you off, they give you the ticket, right? I was speeding really nasty and I think I cut someone off AND I forgot my lisense *doublecringe* and the police officer just let me go....I don't know if I am being paranoid or what, but they can't just send a ticket in the mail, right? paranoidly, cArr :therock:
Wow that cop must've had a really nice day to let someone off with that list of offenses.
 6. Pokemon is a very violent show and in cringe when I see the pokemon fighting. I mean enslaving animals and making them fight? Jesus help us all.
 7.
Originally posted by outlawstar69 Whenever I watched BBC, I always noticed a difference in how they presented their news. They were usually unbiased, and had a lot more "world" news.
When you say unbias, you mean "Anti-American" right? Because that's what it is.
 8.
Originally posted by DuoMax I haven't really noticed a Liberal bias in the news media, in fact, I've really only seen a Conservative bias. This of course leads me to one conclusion. Since both Liberals and Conservatives see the Media as biased, it's obviously moderate! :P
There used to be a huge one before Bush was elected. Remember when Brokaw (I think it was him) praised Gore for winning in the first debate and had to apologize for it at the next one.
See, Fox News is "Fair and balanced"; it balances out the incredibly liberal policies of CNN. (Ever watched "Crossfire"? You know what I mean.) In order to get a truley "unbiased" news station, you'd have to split your time between watching CNN and watching Fox.
Here's how I think of it: If you watch CNN you see the news through Turner's eyes If you watch Fox News you see the news through Rupert's eyes
 9. Here's a link to an actual news article: http://tinyurl.com/oflw Personally I think they're just using the pedophilia thing as a scapegoat.
Originally posted by ssjBrolli I just experianced true love but I might have messed my life up forever. You see there is this girl who I met here that I love with all my heart and soul but a few days ago she was getting hurt of never being able to see me in person cause she lives down far in the U.S. and I live in boring old Canada. I made the mistake of letting her go and I'm thinking I should change my mind and try and get her back. What should I do? I'm a mna in need of serious help (for once)
Forget about her and get a real girl friend. Sure it sounds mean but there's no chance you'll ever meet, get married or whatever.
 11.
Originally posted by doukeshi03 Thus making it fairer for the employee so that they can't be fired if their manager is just having a bad day ^_~. If someone is fired it should be for the right reasons, not just for an isolated incident.
I've heard that it's so hard to get people fired that companies are reluctant to even hire anyone. That true?
 12.
Originally posted by Hataki Vash but remaking it could make it even more of a classic and a better one as well.
That's some very wishful thinking there.
And am I the only one that didnt know that this was based upon a true story... I found out when I watched a new trailer for it and it showed like the newspapers and stuff.
It's loosely based on Ed Gein. Psycho is too, and some others. http://www.crimelibrary.com/serial_killers/notorious/gein/bill_1.html
 13.
Originally posted by doukeshi03 Wrong, the employee will recieve a warning, to just fire them without first giving them two verbal and one written warnings is against your basic working rights. Most arguments between customers and employees are usually polite and considerate on the side of the employee and irrational and abusive on the side of the customer
Things work different here in America. We don't have the EU to make it nearly impossible to fire an employee.
 14. I think it is a good idea. From what I've seen they're only shutting down the msn sponsored chats (not really, they're making it a pay service). Let's be honest here though, all those chat rooms were were bots going "I"M LOLITA456 CUM HERE TO LOOK AT MY PICS ~ ^_^ http://www.geocities.com/imavirus/lolpranked/
 15.
Originally posted by Shy As of right now I'm not sure who will win, or even if the recall campaign will be successful at all. I think Bustamante has a strong chance, and it's a real possibility that the recall election will fail because of a lack of focus from the Republican party.
From what I've seen of Bustamante is that he's is a ultra right wing conservative and even joined some group that says "the one race supreme, leading over others."
 16.
Originally posted by Hells Fire I hated the first movie myself the gore looked really fake and the people were so stupid. The idea of a man carrying a heavy chainsaw just isn't scarey anymore; not only is it hard for him to catch you with the saw, but when he does he'll have to start it up (who would run with a live saw in his hands). I'd be gone by the time he was ready to kill me. The dum characters stood there sreaming waiting for him to get it started so they could die.
Well let's put things in perspective. First of all this was a very low budget film (think blair witch project, but cheaper), second of all there is no gore in this movie. They made it so you just knew what happened, didn't actually see it (like the girl going on the hook). I don't think you understood that Leatherface was a lunatic so I bet he would run with a chainsaw.
 17.
Originally posted by lea2385 i dont agree with much of anything arnold stands for......me, i hope he doesnt win.
What do you think he stands for? So far he's said children need an education, there should be a state medical agency, and he doesn't care if you're gay. That's all I've heard from him.
In terms of what I know about Gray Davis...I know that he's being recalled due to his poor financial management and his inability to solve California's energy problems. I also know that Gray Davis is infamous for being extremely savvy, when it comes to politics. And I know that Gray Davis is well known for his ability to take down political opponents, often in somewhat slanderous ways.
He's just simply a complete fraud. He purposely hid the states deficit to be re-elected. His solution is to increase taxes, where the citizens are already paying a 10% state income tax. Also he does everything for unions to garner votes.
he is, sadly, as Michael Savage put it, A Radical Left Wing Democrat in Republican clothing
That's somewhat true, but he's not radical at all. He basically isn't afraid of gay people or drugs like most conservatives are.
 18. Why don't they just claim Ahnold supreme emporer of California? Everyone is for it.
 19.
Originally posted by doukeshi03 Oh and by the way Harry, the customer isn't always right you aren't always blameless you know.
You can say that now, but when a boss fires you for telling an irrate customer to leave you wil change your mind. Think of it this way, you can walk into a store, purposely get into an arguement with the employee, and 9 times out of 10 the employee will be fired.
 20.
Originally posted by DeviLina i know there are stupid people in the world...but some of the dumbest people in the world shop there with those questions!!!
They have some of the dumbest workers too. Overall it's a horrible shop.
 21.
Originally posted by XxmagentaxX they broke so many vampire rules...
I have to say that there are hardly any set in stone vampire rules besides some no-brainers (they drink blood and can't go in the sung).
and how could they capture ultra violet light in a bullet?
Yeah talk about being realistic. I would expect more from a vampire movie.
 22. This post is appalling to me. I will respond to each one of these hideous atrocities.
Cellphones - Never ever use them while I am scanning or bagging your order. I find that rude that you would rather be jabbering about who you partied with on the weekend instead of paying attention to your groceries. Your lack of care means fun times for me. You may find many of your items mangled, broken, or slightly damaged. Learn some manners, stupid *****. Don't use your goddamn cellphone.
I don't come up to the cashier to have a friendly chat, I come to get my food, pay and leave. Why should I waste my time talking to someone who I will never talk to again? Everyone knows you don't care how my day is going, so why bother pretend?
Dividers - Okay people, they are there for a reason. You know, so I don't scan in another customer's order in addition to yours? And what gets really mad is you blame it on me. Excuse me, I'll bring my psychic powers next time so I know when your goddamn order ends.
You should be paying more attention rather than talking to some cute boy you saw.
Hurry The **** Up - Why must some people take so ****ing long unloading their groceries? Perfectly capable people take out an item at a time, slowly, and wasting my time. Yea, you complain when you don't get fast service, but your fat *** if taking too ****ing long to unload!
All of the slow downs I've seen are 100% because of the cashiers. Maybe you'r the one that should hurry?
Bring Up The Damn Carriage - Being a bagger as well, I know what it's like to have a conveyor belt full of bags, and you're still using the carriage as a lean post. If you do this, and the bagging sucks, blame it on yourself.
What am I to lean on then? Did you think of me? I'm the costumer, so I'm always right.
Don't Ignore Me - I hate people. With a passion. So when I'm making an effort to be polite and charming, don't ignore me. That pisses me off, at least acknowledge me. I'm pretty important, considering I have a small bit of control over your finances( i.g. scanning things multiple times on "accident")
Don't make the effort then. Unless you're an awesome actor, I'm sure everyone can see through your insincere politeness.
I'm Not Your ***** - I'm not going to bend over backwards for you. I can't magically make your credit card work, I'm not going to do something that you can do yourself, i.g. get your own ice. You can get that as you leave, thank you.
Everything is wrong about this.
Don't Bring Attention To Me - Thank you, I know I'm a fast bagger/cashier, and I'm pretty damn friendly, but don't make it so the whole store knows. I'm hated enough as it is, don't pile it on. Plus I blush easily, so I don't need that either.
You hate it when we ignore you and hate it when we pay attention and compliment you? You're hard to please.
Don't Be A Hypocrite - People always complain that conversations between the cashiers/baggers make them feel left out and uncomfortable. How the hell do you think we feel when you're totally excluding us out of the conversation, as well. Learn some goddamn manners.
Why would you want to be in a conversation with two people you don't know and if you're such a fast bagger, only last for a few minutes?
Don't Try To Scam Us - We're not total idiots. We know how to count.
It's actually quite easy to scam you
Don't You Ever Doubt My Bagging - Just because I'm fast, doesn't mean I suck. So **** you, and check the bags and see if there are any problems. If I sucked at bagging, I would've been fired a while ago.
Are you perfect? If not I will question all I want.
WIC: Don't Use On Express - Whatever you call it where you are, don't use it on express. It takes up too much time and defeats the purpose.
I don't know what that means!
Don't Stalk Us - I'm underage.
Not for me!
Don't Use My Name On My Nametag - It freaks us all out to hear "Have a good day, Jennifer[or whatever other name]" because that shows familiarity. I'm your goddamn cashier for 10 minutes, I don't know you.
Yet you want to have a conversation with me...
Don't Rush Us - We don't operate on your time,
You wont' be operating at all if you don't hurry up. Overall I don't see how you even work as a cashier, I suggest you quit.
 23.
Originally posted by Drix D'Zanth Overall I?d give it a 7 out of 10. Nothing really all that groundbreaking, but it did improve upon other movies of this genre.
So I guess what I'm wondering is are there any stupid techno vampire scenes? Such as Queen as the Damned, and Blade.
 24.
Originally posted by Valen Oh, and Harry, many guys go out with multiple girls and think it's manly to do that. Especially easy when the girls have a thing for eachother and the guy... and we'll just leave it at that.
Oh come on, sure "many" guys go out with multiple girls at once (which is stupid to say in the first place), but these guys don't go out with 4 girls at once that are all best friends.
 25. Your friends are lying. No guy ever goes out with 4 girls at once, it's just too complicated and draining. This is probably their way of telling you you're out of their clique.
