I love it. ^__^ Well, the colors anyway. I must say that the animated icons on the front page are a bit distracting. I end up looking at them instead of what forum I am looking for, because they are moving... thus drawing attention. I would say that is my only con. Other than that, it is enjoyable. Well done to all those who put the effort to it.

Piro moved over to a bench press. It would do for a quick warm-up. He removed his cloak and draped it across the bench as he then proceeded to load the weight on. He started with nothing too extreme; one-fifty would be quite suitable. Before he mounted, he stretched himself a bit limbering up his muscles, and getting them ready for work. After he finished this, he strattled the bench and lowered himself into position as he grasped the bar firmly with his gloved hands. He took a final moment to ready himself, then proceeded to slowly raise the bar off the rack into position. With steady movement and paced breathing he pressed a set of ten, and then placed the bar back on the rack. He got up from the bench and added ten pounds total to his pre-existing weight, and repeated what he had done before. Only this time, a set of twelve. He then added ten more pounds total, and repeated a final time with a set of fifteen. Finished with the bench, he cleared the bar and moved onto leg exercises, taking his cloak with him. He was not going to rush himself...

I have always wanted to be able to fly without the assistance of some machine. Though, with someone like Neil (Medra) seeking greater power, I would have to seek such things as well. It would be rather enjoyful, I think. Heh heh, then we would really be the DragonBall Tag Team. ^-^
Originally posted by SS4Gogeta_ICE Ive already seen the version with subtitles. What im wanting to know is does the Uncut version speak english?
Yes, I do believe so. I have some DragonBall Z movies on VHS that are uncut, and they are in English. If they were to put DragonBall Z on Adult Swim, it is probably what they would show. If that makes sense. :)

Honestly, it would depend on the mood I am in. It takes a lot to freak me out (and I am talking a lot), so chances are I would be rather calm. Though, it could be a calm happiness, or a calm depression. If I was happy, sure, why not save the world? If I was depressed, I would not have stayed behind, or I would do such as Kinetic so eloquently described above. Yup... it all depends on how I would be feeling at the time. The fate of the world would rest on my mood, lol.
Originally posted by SS4Gogeta_ICE When an english verion DVD for Dragon Ball Z - Say the new movie #7 super andriod 13. I can either buy it edited or uncut. Is Uncut better or is edited... is one of the two JAPANEASE? please fill me in. Thanks.:therock:
If it is a DVD, I do believe it should come with both the Americanized version, and the original Japanese version. In which case, you can watch both, and just put the subtitles on when you watch the original version. This is how all the DragonBall DVD movies I have work anyway... I always watch the original with the subtitles. However, if it does not work like this, I reccomend trying to get as close to the original as possible. If it is only the Americanized versions, choose uncut over edited.

Well, America has already messed with most anime to the point where one cannot really judge its quality, unless they have seen it in its original form. It is a pretty wide opinion here that those companies that bought, edited, and dubbed the whole DragonBall series have screwed it pretty bad. Even on the simplest of things, which really gets on my nerves. So much that I really do not think of what they show on public television as actual anime, since it has been perverted to such an extent. I agree with gokents on the idea that it is not just DragonBall that is making its way into a more mainstream world, but anime in general. Though, one must take into account the fact that, in other places other than Japan, probably a majority of the people that watch anime only watch what they see on television, so they do not get the original content. Not many people take the time to buy fansubs or DVD's of animes that have the original version of the anime, the DragonBall series in this case, on it, and watch it in its pure form with the subtitles. The DragonBall series has always been great to me as long as I have watched it. Unfortunately, I have missed a lot the more recent episodes because they took it off the Midnight Run. However, it still remains the same that it is one of my favorites, and I think it is going to stay like that for a while.

Piro still stood erect off the wall for a few moments after this... Arano... had gone back to his place on the bench. A thin, anxious smile was still apparent on Piro's face with his eyes gazing forward from under a bowed head. He was very ready to see a fight break out, as his blood still flowed violently throughout his veins, as his adrenaline still pumped with just as much force. He found Arano to be an interesting character, indeed. Someone to definitely keep an eye on. Piro sighed contently and leaned back against the wall once more, closing his eyes continuing to focus himself as a whole. Over the slight murmur of other's chat, he could still hear his heart pounding in his chest like a bass drum. He was ready for training, and eagerly awaited it now. He just needed to continue to be patient...

Piro sat awake on his bed, as he had done all night. Well, not all night. When he became too terribly bored he walked around the dorm a bit. Rather aimlessly. On a lighter note, he could pretty much walk around the place blindfolded and not run into anything. We know, because he tried. Numerous times at that. He had to entertain himself somehow. On the occasion that he did not want to get up, but had to do something, he just turned himself towards his roommate, Satari, and watched him sleep. This guy slept like a rock. When Piro had been practicing walking the room blindfolded, he ran into a few things that made quite a bit of noise, yet Satari did not even stir. What an odd pair they were. One who is pretty much an insomniac, and a heavy sleeper. Beneath the doorway, Piro could see light pouring through. People were waking up. Piro: Finally... ... He said to himself. It had been quite a long night, and it was about time to get about and do some actual moving. So with that, Piro quietly grabbed his gloves off the nightstand between the two beds, and put them back on his hands. Next were his boots, which he laced tightly to his feet. He then arose from the bed and walked over to the closet. Upon opening it, he saw that Satari had made himself at home. Piro did not recall him putting his stuff away... but perhaps he had fallen into to deep of a concentration to notice anything. Regardless, Piro snatched his cloak off its hanger and slid it on over his head. The length of the cloak flooded to the floor hiding his feet, and his gloved hands peeked out from under the outer layer of his cloak. Ready to go, Piro took one last look around the dorm making sure he had not missed anything, and then walked out the door, leaving his roommate to get his rest. It was not long before Piro was down into the main area. He paced himself much quicker in an open area than walking amongst others like he did last night. Upon arrival, he saw a few people had already gather, including Tonberry who turned to him as he emerged from the left wing, and spoke from across the way. Tonberry: Ah, another early riser, I see. Did you have a nice sleep? Again with Piro's patented, humored smile he continued a slower walk finding a cozy spot on a wall, leaning against it with his arms folded across his chest. Piro: What sleep? Tonberry stood puzzled for a moment, forgetting for that split second that he had brought in quite an array of people. Not all are going to have the same needs. He spoke once more, but more open and not directed at anyone unless they happened to be consciously listening. Tonberry: Quite the diversity we have here, heh. With his eyes now closed, Piro nodded in acknowledgement to Tonberry's words. Piro's deal was that his mind did not need sleep. His mind was the center of his 'greater' power, it was where the part of his Creator existed within him. His creator no longer slept, so Piro's mind no longer slept. Yet his body was still bound to the limits of the phsyical world. It needed to rest. So as long as Piro was not doing anything requiring great amounts of work, his body rested, and sleeped while his mind kept his existence awake, and his eyes open and conscious. It was quite an odd feeling, but Piro had no complaints. It was how he was made. Interrupting Piro's thoughts, Tonberry inquired once more. Tonberry: Are you ready for your training? Looking forward to it? Piro opened his eyes fixating them on Tonberry as a grin spread across his face. Piro: As ready as I am going to be. Tonberry nodded, and Piro closed his eyes once more in slight meditation and focus for what was to come. It would not be long now...

Topic: Blink 182's good song Reponse: While I shall admit that Blink 182 does have some songs that I am able to tolerate, I cannot say that they have many. Damnit is okay, but I would quickly turn the radio station if a better song is on (a better song would probably not be hard to find). Blink 182 was much better when they were just Blink. Topic: Tupac Response: || Quote: "But when he starts talking about how there aren't any black presidents. That is just stupid. Why is it white peoples fault that a black person hasn't ever been president?". || I believe the line revolves somewhere around, "And we ain't ready to see a black president", or something to that effect. This has nothing to do with it being the white people's fault for not having a black president, or any race for that matter. He is talking about society in general today, and how most people are not willing to make "Changes". See how the title of the song fits here? ^__^ Topic: Danzig Response: I cannot say anything here other than that I whole-heartedly agree. Topic: Others Response: || Quote: "Punk just is better." || Indeed, it is. If you look further into it, not all of the bands you might have listened to are necessarily punk. AFI, up until Shut Your Mouth and Open Your Eyes, was punk. Though they then switched over to a more harcore sound, instead of punk. Mustard Plug, as you listed in your picks, is a ska band. In the case of ska, I reccomend the Mighty Mighty Bosstones. Nothing like good, old school, rascal king ska. ^__^

Piro walked down the left wing. With his gigantic steps due to his lankiness it seemed that he was a rather slow walker, but he covered a lot of ground in each step and was actually passing others that were ahead of him. His head moved only slightly from side to side as his yes followed suit checking out the others that walked the hall. It was apparent the Piro is quite the observer. His ears perked as hurried footsteps came from behind him. They grew louder as they approached, and the next thing he knew was that his right shoulder was bumped rather forcefully as a man came to his side ad stopped next to him. Piro recovered from the bump and glanced at this person who was now next to him. He recognized him as his roommate? He believed his name was? ?Satari?, or something along those lines. Satari had to walk rather quickly in order to keep up with Piro?s pace, is it was obvious he was not going to slow down. Satari: Sorry about that? So, how is it going? Piro remained silent as he looked over at his roommate with a humored smirk on his face. Piro had noticed this guy was rather cheerful when they first met when Tonberry asked that each person find their partners. Piro: It goes well? and you? Piro was not one to talk too much in a conversation. His answers were usually short and sweet, and occasionally with a returning question if a question he was asked. Satari: Pretty good! Piro?s bluntness left Satari without anything else to say, so they just continued to walk down the hallway. Piro?s pace was steady and unchanging. Satari would occasionally fade behind Piro and have to pick up his steps in order to get along side him once more. This man?s eagerness made Piro laugh on the inside as he bowed his head slightly and closed his eyes for a while opening them as they came closer to their dorm. Satari frequently glanced at him trying to think of something to say in order get acquainted with his roommate like Tonberry had suggested they do. He then noticed, that unlike any of the other students, Piro was not carry any bags or luggage of any kind. They arrived at their dorm room door, and Piro began to open it? Satari: Hey? where are your bags? As he opened the door, Piro looked back at Satari with that same humored smirk on his face. Piro: What bags? He turned and entered the dorm leaving Satari with a rather puzzled look on his face. Piro was already far into the dorm with the door left open when Satari noticed that he had not moved. Catching himself, Satari paced into the dorm and closed the door behind him. Piro had already turned the lights on and was in the center of the main room just looking around. This ?dorm? did not fit to its typical meaning at all. Quite elaborate, and much more than Piro had expected. Against a wall, there were two beds. Piro walked to them and looked at them both as Satari set his things down. Piro: Which one do you want? right or left? Satari turned towards the two doors with his hands folded across his chest in short thought. Satari: Umm? I?ll take the right, I suppose. With that, Piro further inspected the dormitory. There was a slightly wide closet in the far end of a wall. Also, there was only one bathroom in the whole dorm, which, to him, was perfectly fine. He would never have to use it anyway, it is how his body was created to work. Nothing goes to waste. Everything his converted into some form of useful energy. The only thing he would need to use it for was the shower and such. Piro walked to his closet and opened the door. There was an array of several hangers along a bar that stretch to either end, and a few hooks along the back wall. It was all really more than he needed. Never the less, Piro lifted his hand up to the pendant on his cloak and gave it a twist to the left, which released its grip that had closed the shroud. His cloak seemed to just fall from his body into a black mass on the floor. He lifted it up from its fallen position and reattached the pendant, and then hung it upon a hanger. He turned with a slightly run and jumped onto his bed in a sitting position as he bounced up and down until the springs calmed? Piro: ? Springy. He removed his gloves and placed them on the nightstand, and then took off his boots and set them on the floor beside the bed. Then, he just sat there. Awake. Thinking about tomorrow?

Dareigen and Voleur continued their trek along the beaten path as they came closer and closer to those lights they saw in the distance. Both began to narrow their eyes to try and see through the lurking darkness. It was still plenty of light out, but the dramatic contrasts the sun?s position had casted made things much harder to identify. As they drew closer, they could make out that those dancing lights were, indeed, torches, and behind the light of the torches, gray brick could be seen. Dareigen: Well, it is a castle all right. Voleur nodded in agreement. It was the castle they were looking for: Agahnim's Castle. She looked up top, looking for any silhouettes of soldiers that might be patrolling. From what she could see, there were none. Though, like the last time she was here, there did not seem to be any either. By this time, Dareigen and Voleur were only within several paces of the main bridge of the castle. Voleur put her hand out in front of Dareigen stopping both of them. Voleur: Well, obviously, it probably would not be the best idea to just waltz across their bridge. Dareigen nodded, he was pretty sure the castle are around the bridge was set up so anything crossing it could easily be hit. Dareigen: It would probably be the best to go across the river, but it is too far to jump and swimming across may make too much noise. Not too mention the current may pull us off course. Voleur chuckled lightly. Voleur: ?Us?? ? We only need one torch, so it is only going to take one of ?us?. Dareigen gave Voleur a questioning look. She made sense, but there still was the problem of getting across and back. Unless? Dareigen: Do you have a plan? Voleur smirked and looked up at Dareigen with a slight sense of arrogance. Voleur: Of course I have a plan. You obviously do not have any means of which to get across that river, so I am going. Dareigen: ? And you can get across? Voleur unclipped something from her side and brought it before both of them. It was her Longshot. Dareigen?s eyes widened in revelation as her plan became a bit more clear to him. Voleur: I am sure you know what this is so I shall not go into those details, but I can use this to get me across. Now, it will not grab the brick of the castle, but I can stick it in the ground on the other side, and it will pull me over. Dareigen was pleased by this. It was a splendid plan? as long as everything went well, of course. Before he could say something in agreement and set this plan in motion another predicament popped into his head as he realized once more that the sky was darkening. The sun was almost set. Dareigen: ? Where shall we go after you have gotten the torch? The sun is almost gone, and there are rumors of fallen warriors emerging from the grounds at night. Now, I am all for a good fight, but it has been a long day and I could use some rest. Voleur tried to say something in retort to this, but found that she had nothing to say. The fact that they had no shelter was quite a problem. Both stood in thought for a moment or two, but then Dareigen remembered something, and jogged a bit back down the path to see around the trees. Yes? in the distance he could see it, barely, but he knew it was there. Dareigen: Once you have the torch we can sprint across this grass here down into the Swamp Ruins. It maybe a bit dangerous, but I have recently been there so I know what to expect, so it should be a rather smooth run. In the ruins there is an old Watergate. I was in there before I found my way to Lake Hylia. We could stay there for the night? ? You do not have anything wrong with getting a bit dirty do you? Dareigen figured she would not from what he already knew of her, but there was always courtesy in asking. Voleur laughed with a wide smile as she handed the Octorok to Dareigen. Voleur: Not at all. We all get a little dirty sometimes.;) Dareigen took the Octorok in hand picking up on her sexual connotation as Voleur jogged off towards the river bank. Dareigen chuckled a bit, shaking his head, as a he retreated to some nearby trees to keep himself partially hidden. Voleur arrived at the side of the river and held out her Longshot. With a slight popping sound, the anchor and chain shot across the gap and pierced deep in to the ground on the other side. It stuck, and immediately pulled Voleur across landing safely and easily on the other side. Wasting no time, she ran on her toes to the castle pressing her back against the wall laying as flat as she could. There was a torch not far above, but it was too high to reach by just standing. Quickly, Voleur sprang into action leaping into the air and grabbing the holder of the torch that protruded from the wall. Voleur pulled herself up and let go with one hand, and used it to remove the torch from its holder. After this, she dropped herself back down with torch in hand and now with her Longshot in the other. She made her way quickly back to the river and shot the anchor back across. She was pulled across, but right as she began to clear the river, the anchor slipped from the ground and Voleur crash into the side of the dirt wall that lay on one side of the river. Holding on, she threw the Longshot forward on to the ground and dug the bottom of the torch in to the ground sending a small shower of sparks down upon her. Dareigen watched from the trees getting a bit nervous. Voleur grabbed the grass with her free hand and dug her feet into the dirt of the wall pushing and pulling herself up. She got herself a majority of the way over the wall and let out a sigh of relief. She had almost dropped into the river, blowing their cover. Laying around the ground, she picked up her Longshot and put it back at her waist. As she stood up, an arrow whizzed past her body and stuck into the ground beside her. She jumped to her feet as this was followed by indistinct shouts from the castle, but she knew that she had been seen. Just as always, though, she was not going down alive. Voleur sprinted away as a small shower of arrows, three or four at a time, began to fall all around her. She had a few close calls, but once she cleared the path she was fairly out of range as their shots became less precise and less accurate. Voleur: Dareigen! Let?s go! Dareigen emerged from the trees already beginning his run with the Octorok in hand. He came up along side Voleur and the both made their way across the grassy area down towards the Swamp Ruins. Dareigen: Do you think they will chase us?! Voleur: I do not think so, it was just a torch and we are already too far ahead! I am pretty sure they can see where we are heading, though! So we might run into them? or something of theirs later! Dareigen: Right! Both never lost their speed or direction, making it straight across the plain and to the entrance to the Swamp Ruins in a matter of time. Both stopped and were breathing heavily from their run. While they were at this pause, Voleur went to a grassy area and ripped out a handful of the grass with her free hand. She walked back to Dareigen as she light the tip of the grass on fire with the torch. She knelt down beside him and used the flaming grass to light his Lantern. That way, if they were to both become separated in the coming darkness, they would both have light. Voleur dropped the grass to the ground and put it out with her feet. Both rested for another moment, then turned towards the Swamp Ruins? Voleur: Are you sure this is safe? Dareigen smiled lightly, and turned his head towards Voleur. Dareigen: No, not really, but as I said, I was here earlier today. I know my way around enough, and I know the hazards. So, as long as we stick together, we should be fine. Besides, if we do get followed, they will probably have a relatively difficult time getting through here. Voleur nodded, and, at that, they both slowly walked into the Swamp Ruins?

Sure, the name is a bit n00bish and her typing skills are not that great, lol (no offense to you if you ever read this ;)), but she is cool enough. Probably cooler than me, but oh well. :p But hey, if anyone wants to meet me, feel free to come on by here, my door is... well... it is not open, but it is there. You just have to knock, ring the doorbell... or break it down if I do not reply to the first two. It is the sad life I live. o-O

Voleur stopped her approaching swim to the man that had seemingly appeared out of nowhere? and rather clumsily at that. It made her laugh on the inside. Especially, since he had not even prepared to go in the water. Now all of his clothes were soaking. She just remained silent treading water, looking silently at the man. What boggled her mind is that this man strikingly resembled a Gerudo? It was not possible, though. That vile, pitiful excuse for a Gerudo, Ganondorf, is the only male of their kind. The rumor that there had been another, but she did not find it at all likely, so she just tossed it to the back of her mind. It was quite apparent that this man had become uneasy in her silence as she had not answered his question yet. She looked up to the cliff where the Octorok remained in sight, and then looked back down to the man? Voleur: Yes, that is mine. She said this quite casually with a slight undertone of possessiveness. The man calmed himself as he had been quite tense as to what her first response to him might be. He swam backwards toward the cliff from which he had slipped from and grabbed onto it, pulling himself out of the water. It seemed like half of the lake had collected in his clothing as it all flooded back to its rightful home as he got out. He was completely drenched from head to toe. His clothes must weigh at least two or three times their normal weight. He began ringing out what he could carefully so as not to fall back into the lake, and spoke once more of the Octorok. ---: From what I saw, it looked like a nice kill. I did not see a wound or anything. Voleur smirked at this. Yes, it was a nice kill, but he must have been blind not to see the hole in its head. Voleur just remained treading in the water as she watched this man, who she could not let go of the fact of how much he looked like a Gerudo (he even had a scimitar similar to hers), as he continued twisting the water out of his clothes. A quick flicker of light caught her eye and drew her focus to the man?s wrist. He kept moving it so it she had to constantly adjust her position a little bit to see what it was, but then she saw it. A bracelet, but not just any bracelet. She distinctly recognized from descriptions her clan of Gerudos had always described. It was a Power Bracelet. It was rumored that whoever wore one could lift even the heaviest of objects. Of course, it was just a rumor, and it could be a bit exaggerated. It still remained a treasure, though. She took her eyes off it and put them back on the man as he finished doing what he could to dry himself. She did not want to come off as suspicious. ---: So? what are you doing here at Lake Hylia? It was rather obvious this man was new to conversation, but Voleur went along with it. Even though it was rather obvious what she was doing. It is possible that he might think she is looking for something, but she decided to save time and give him a straight answer. Voleur: I am going for a swim, and using this pure water to clean any wounds I may have acquired. Just one in specific. Voleur raised her right arm from the water displaying the lengthy gash along her forearm. By this time it was healed over enough to where skin was filling in the gap. It looked like it was a nasty scar. The man looked at it rather intrigued as she put her arm back under the water. The woman was obviously a fighter. A pain in his shoulder became eminent to him as he thought about this. He reached a hand up to it as if it was going to ease the pain. Voleur took notice of this, and was also rather intrigued. It looked pretty bad. Voleur: How did you manage that? She asked this in reference to his shoulder wound. He took his hand down and looked at his shoulder. ---: I recently woke up a Hinox? probably not the smartest move on my part. My only way out of the room I was in was to kill it. So I did, and I cannot say I went unscathed as you have noticed. Now, if you do not mind, how did you suffer that gash on your arm? Voleur was rather impressed by hearing of his defeat of a Hinox. She had heard of those things before. To hear that one had been beaten was a rarity, to be in the presence of one who had beaten one was a first. Without further thought, she told her story? Voleur: I have been living in the Dark World for the past few years, most of which I was lost in a wooded area. I had to put up with plenty of monsters there. Not too long ago, I had to destroy my shelter in order to escape a hoard of Deelers and eventually found my way out of the woods. Anyway, after a rather strange encounter, I made my way towards a pyramid in the middle of the land where I was sure a portal to the Light World. On my way there I had my encounters with a few smaller monsters. Then, on my ascent up the pyramid I was confronted by a pair of Lizalfos. Luckily, I was able to push them both off the edge of the pyramid with a Longshot that I have. One of them managed to hang onto the anchor and was pulled back up. It was rather enraged as I had previously shot its leg with an arrow. It managed to give me a small cut on my left thigh right off, then it was a race to the top of the pyramid. To my luck, there was a portal their. That distracted me, though, and the Lizalfos was able to sneak up behind me. At the last moment I turned around with a scimitar in hand, but the surprise made me fall back. The monster grabbed me, and I grabbed it. We both fell through the portal, and somewhere in there I managed to remove its body armor and drive my scimitar through its chest. It was able to pull off this cut on my arm. The man was rather interested in the story as he continued focusing blankly even after Voleur had stopped talking. After a moment or two, he became aware of what was going on and shook off his trance. It had been some time that he had been clinging to the cliff, and his muscles were beginning to tire. He shifted his position and began to turn. ---: Well, my muscles are beginning to fatigue from hanging on here. So I am going to be on my way. The man began his climb up the cliff as Voleur began to swim that way as she spoke in a slightly joking manner. Voleur: I am right behind you. My skin is beginning to prune! They both made there way up the cliff, both being careful of their prominent wounds on their arm so that they did not bust open once more. A short amount of time passed before both made their way over the top of the cliff. Voleur made her way to her pile of gear and clothes and began putting them back on, the man began to notice similarities between the way Voleur was dressed and the way women he used to know dressed. ---: So what do you plan on doing with this Octorok? Voleur looked up at the man as she finished securing her pant legs and sleeves to their rightful places. She stared at him with a slightly fiendish look to her and made a quick glance down to the smelly creature that she had killed some time ago. By this time, the sun had pretty much dried its body. If she did not fully kill it at first, it was surely dead now. Voleur: I am going to see if it has any nutritional value. The man felt as if he had jolted back in surprise, but really, he had not moved. He found it uncanny that such a woman would resort to eating her kills. She was perhaps the only person he had ever knew that did this apart from himself. ---: You are going to eat it?! Voleur chuckled rather loudly as she slung her quiver over her shoulder, and continued attaching the rest of her equipment. Voleur: Ha ha, yes. Do you have a problem with that? The man struggled a bit for words scratching his head. ---: No? not at all.. In fact, I have also resorted to using the monsters I kill to keep myself satiated and well. Voleur: Oh yeah? ? Well, it seems we have something in common. I am quite used to it myself. It is all I could do to live in the Dark World. What have you done? The man found this woman?s character so strange, so comfortable with talking about that oddest of things. Not that it bothered him, he had just not met anyone quite like her. Not being one to disappoint, he quickly returned an answer, now settled down from the shock. ---: Well, my most recent would have to be Leever ?Juice?. It is quite bitter; not the best thing to taste, but it does the body good. Voleur was now finished getting her things together and just stood talking to the man. Voleur: Leever Juice, eh? I cannot say I have tried that before? but hey! if it does the body good, I am all for it! No matter how bad it tastes. ---: What about you? What have you tried? Voleur grunted in trying to recall her memory as she adjusted her stance? Voleur: I would have to say? hrmm? probably.. Ghoma. They are quite tasty. They taste like Cucco. I had them quite often when I was in the Dark World, and they thrived in Skull Woods, which was where I was lost a majority of my stay. The man nodded at the woman?s impressive story. He had heard of Ghoma before, and ,from what he had heard of them, knew they were quite a feat. It is a possible exaggeration, but if she had been lost in those woods for such a long time, she also could have gotten used to them. He brushed all of this aside and inquired once more referring to the Octorok? ---: Well, how do you plan on cooking that Octorok? I have had some experience with them before? not eating them necessarily, but I have encountered a few in my lifetime. I do not think that they would be of much use to your health raw. Voleur was actually caught off guard by this; the man was right. She did not have any way to cook the creature. She thought a bit, looking around seeing if there were any resources she could use to possibly start some sort of fire or other intense heat, but to no avail. Voleur: Hrmm? You are right. I suppose that does pose a problem? Both stood in thought for a while, Voleur more than the other guy. He thought of possibilities while at the same time trying to think of the next thing to say? if anything. Both were drawing no conclusions to any problems that they might have had. Then, an inevitable and rather obvious thought shot into the man?s mind, one that he was surprised he never thought of earlier. ---: I apologize, but I do not think we ever exchanged names, and yet we have been talking all of this time. I am Dareigen. Voleur gasped slightly and held her breath for a solitary moment frozen in place. The name ?Dareigen? rang so familiarly in her ears, and she knew what it was that she had heard the name from. It was on the tip of her tongue, but holding on for all it was worth. It was standing in the back of her mind, ready to open up the door to her conscious knowledge. It was there right in front of her, but just out of reach. After this quick moment, she released her breath? Voleur: My name is? Voleur? She stood awkwardly with an equally awkward expression to her face. Dareigen, as he called himself, simply stood giving as much of a smile as a straight face can show. Dareigen: I cannot help but notice that you look remarkable like? a Gerudo- Voleur jolted into a response. Voleur: I am! I am a Gerudo, and I must say that you strongly resemble one. Though, that is impossible, for there has only ever been one male Gerudo in all of history, and you are definitely not hi- Dareigen: I am. Voleur: WHAT!?! Voleur leaped backwards into a fighting stance with both scimitars drawn and ready to kill. She had thought the guy meant that he was the one male Gerudo she knew as Ganondorf. Even though she knew that her Revenge had told her not to face him alone, she also knew that it was a bit of a tough situation to get out of. It was possible that she could leap off the cliff and escape into Lake Hylia, but it was possible that would only trap her deeper than she already was. So she stood with a stern look about her face and solid as a rock, awaiting this? Dareigen?s? move. Dareigen: ? I am a Gerudo, just as you are, but I am not the one who you think I am. I am not Ganondorf. My name is truly Dareigen. Voleur stood solid for a moment as she took in the words of her possible foe, but then slightly understood what it is that he meant and lowered her guard, but keeping her scimitars in hand. Surely, if this man really was Ganondorf, he would have killed her by now, or at least made some kind of move. Voleur: ? but? Ganondorf is the only male Gerudo. You could you possibly b-- Then it made sense! Of course! The name ?Dareigen? was the one she had heard in the rumor and myths of another male Gerudo! So it was true! There was in fact another, and to be right there in front her. Voleur was so shocked her scimitars dropped from hands to the grass below her, and she dropped to her knees just staring at him with her jaw dropped and eyes wide open. She tried to speak, but only certain vowel or consonant sounds erupted from her lips. Finally, she managed a few words? Voleur: I am? honored to be in your presence? While Voleur knelt, Dareigen let out a soft laugh. Never had anyone shown him such reverence, merely for being a male Gerudo? at least, not that he knew of. Dareigen: Stand up. I am nothing special to which you should grovel. A slightly flattered smile made a short way across Dareigen?s face, and Voleur rose to her feet bringing her scimitars with her placing them back at her sides. Voleur averted her eyes in thought; recalling what her Revenge had said to her? Dareigen: Two Gerudos? what are the odds? Voleur was too zoned out to acknowledge Dareigen?s words, though she had heard them. Dareigen stretched himself out looking up to the sky. Voleur shook her head with closed eyes and looked toward Dareigen, answering his rhetorical question. Voleur: Slim? very, very slim? Dareigen place his hands at his sides with a questioning look to him, not understand the words Voleur had uttered. Dareigen: What? Voleur approached Dareigen until there was almost no space between them and looked up to him with eyes of worry and sadness, but no tears. Voleur: Through an acquaintance of which it is irrelevant for me to detail, I learned that the evil we know as Ganondorf intentionally released monsters from the Dark World here into the Light World approximately four or five years ago. He released them into the Desert of Mystery. Our home. He had the one intent to wipe out all of the Gerudos, but I had escaped my clan, and so he was forced to change his agenda. Instead, he opened a portal as I was walking through the sandstorms that are so frequent in our lands, and I unknowingly walked into it. I blacked out from there. I was told that he destroyed all Gerudos except two! You and I! He kept one in the Light World, you; and one in the Dark World, me. So that our lives would forever be lonesome. He knew that a Gerudo is no good without a clan. So he got rid of all of them? Except us! We were the only survivors? Dareigen stood, partially confused by this flood of information about his race. It was unfamiliar to him, and also did not make sense to him at the time. For when he left his clan, others existed? Dareigen: This cannot be. Back home, in my clan, others do exist. Why did he not destroy them?! Voleur lowered her eyebrows in a sudden bewilderment. Her Revenge told her that all Gerudo?s except for two had all been killed! She would not lie to herself. It did not make sense. Though? as she thought, a possibility did arise? Voleur: Maybe? Maybe he destroyed all of those of which he knew were a threat to him! There probably were many innocent lives taken who he did not see as a threat, and then there were those destroyed by the beasts he unleashed. I do not know, but it does make sense to me? Dareigen: I suppose that could be? Both stood silent. Voleur backed away from Dareigen secluding herself a bit. After a few moments the uneasiness faded. Dareigen examined Voleur? then noticed something peculiar. Something she had in her left hand? He narrowed his eyes to try and better his view. His eyes could not believe what he saw! She had the Power Bracelet! Dareigen laughed on the inside. A true Gerudo thief. She had taken it off him, and he did not even notice! He decided not to say anything, for two can play at the game she was playing. He looked into the sky once more as it now was beginning to taint with pinks and oranges? Dareigen: Well, the sun is setting. Voleur broke out of her silence and looked around with her eyes only slightly moving her head as she did. Voleur: Yes? yes it is. There was a bit of a semi-awkward silence moved over them once more? Dareigen: Listen. Ganondorf may know that a Gerudo is not much good without a clan, but he does not know that we have found each other. The two he saw as so much of a threat that he had us exiled so we could never meet. So let us stick together, shall we? Voleur smiled impishly. Yes? it did make sense to stick together. It would also make her not alone if she ever did come to face Ganondorf. She chuckled. Voleur: Yes, let us do that. Whoever said that what a man does not know cannot hurt him? Voleur?s smirk spread even wider across her face as the mood lightened. Dareigen: What of the Octorok? Voleur laughed slightly and looked towards the creature which she had slain earlier that day. Surprisingly enough, it had not begun to decay, or anything of that sort. Its skin must be rather tough. Especially when dried like it was. Voleur: Well, I do not mind sharing. If we are sticking together, both of us have to keep fit. I suppose cooking it could still be a problem. Though, hey, we are Gerudo thieves, and that castle up the road is bound to have torches hanging off it. By the time we get there, the sun will have must likely set enough to where they will be lit, and we can simply take one, and use it to make a fire, and light that lantern there at your side. Dareigen chuckled. A splendid idea. Voleur?s remarkable resourcefulness and keen observations thoroughly impressed him. Voleur picked up the deceased Octorok and found that it was not nearly as dry as it looked noticing it fall limp to her side. Its skin was rather smooth, but not without its dryness. Though it was not as stiff as a board like she thought it would be, it still had been out in the sun for quite some time. Dareigen and Voleur made sure they had everything they had to begin with and began their walk up the path back to the castle from where Voleur came. Playfully, or so it seemed, Dareigen bumped into Voleur?s left side as she giggled in the most enjoyment she has had in ages. Just then, Dareigen held up his hands in front of them, showing him securing the Power Bracelet back to his wrist. He looked at Voleur with one of those smiles that just says, ?Got ya!? as she looked up at him blushing ever so slightly with an ?innocent? little smile at being caught red-handed. With that, they continued their walk under the setting sun.
Originally posted by DeathKnight Honestly, I joke around alot with all of my friends. [Flash, Bryan, Juu and Piro in this thread alone would know] With my female friends I flirt as well, but if I can tell she is getting uncomfortable with it, of course I tone it down a bit. I just try to keep everything comedic around me if I can, because someone has to do it. ^^
Heh, yes. I am pretty much exactly like this. I "flirt" with my guy friends for crying out loud, lol. It is just all in fun. Even better when they do it back. Though, most of the time we shall give each other and hug and then snap out of it and look around as if we were making sure no one saw us. ^__^ This is among a whole arsenal of other antics we pull off. I am not much of a serious "flirter". It is just my way of having fun. It is what I do. It is what I have always done before flirting was even flirting. :p So yes, that is my take on it, I suppose...

Hrmm... I cannot really think of what to say, lol. It is not really that I am shocked or anything, I guess I just fail to see the big deal. When I first got done reading your post I felt a strange compulsion to give you a hug, lol. That is just me, though. My actions speak more often than my words (you would notice this if you met me in person). Your parents, and no offense is meant by this, are rather blind with how they are reacting. You say you have been bi-sexual for as long as you can remember, and obviously you have never told them up until recently. So, I can assume that they have cared for you all the way through. If they could do it then, they can do it now. Possibly, even more. That is just my thought, though...

Dictionary.com says: flirt (flûrt) v. flirt·ed, flirt·ing, flirts 1. To make playfully romantic or sexual overtures. 2. To deal playfully, triflingly, or superficially with: flirt with danger. 3. To move abruptly or jerkily. I would believe you are looking for somewhere along the lines of the first two definitions. More so the first, but the second can also apply. I often get called out for flirting, which, really, I am not; or not trying to at least. I guess by definition I might, but it is not too much of a big deal. Most of the time I am really obvious with it and doing it for a joke. Overall, I am just generally nice to girls, and I have enough of them as friends. I have actually worked it out, and I have a 4:1 ratio of guy friends to girl friends, plus one girl. It is quite interesting... but yeah... o-O

Name: Piro II; Piro Age: appear to be about 20; but in all relativity, I am ageless Race: Creation Height: 6'5 Description: Tall, but prominently thin and lanky with a decent muscular build. Nothing to any extreme, though. Pale. My hair is black and partially shaven, leaving some of his scalp exposed. It is at a medium length. More long than it is short. I often keeps it back out of my face. Eyes are red. Common apparel is a bi-layer black cloak, when closed, it s held together by a small pendant. Underneath I wear a tight-fitting, black, long-sleeve shirt with the shoulders cut out and fingerless gloves on each hand. My pants follow suit with the rest of my clothes: black. They are also a bit baggy, and tucked into my boots. Black and laced. [ see picture at bottom of post ] Personality: I tend to remain rather calm about things, even in the most desperate of situations. Though I do not anger quickly, I do enjoy a good fight, and I jump at the chance to take part in one. Though, on this planet you can see how that is a rarity. I guess you can say it is in my blood to fight. My.. er.. "ancestor" was quite the fighter. I am sure a vast majority of people have forgotten him, a lost legend I guess you could say. ... I am beginning to ramble aren't I? Likes and dislikes? I like things that burn... I do not like things that do not burn. I suppose... Rather odd question. History: I have only been alive for roughly... sixteen? Seventeen years? I am not sure. I have not really kept track. Time is such a trivial thing. Well, in order to explain my history, I should probably bring up my "ancestor" once more. As I said before, he is a bit of a lost legend. Actually, for a majority of his phsyical life, he lived in an entirely different universe than this one. There, he fought valiantly among other warriors to defend a planet much similar to this one. I know this, because I have seen it. He has shown me in his memories. This planet is much larger, though, and a bit more complex. In this universe of his, he was originally created by a god. A Dragon God, to be more specific. After a while he broke from this power, and found that there were more, these were much kinder than his first. Each ruled over a certain element, and each lent him their power but keeping him in limit. They made him work to achieve more power. His final fight for the entire universe, in which he worked with a group of other warriors, ended in neither a win or a loss. I do not even think it could really be considered a draw, or even a stalemate even. The universe collapsed on itself, more or less, and the only survivors ended up here, in this universe. No one actually knew how they got there, but they found themselves on this planet. After a while of existing here, he noticed that he could no longer make any contact with his creators. Those gods who had always guided him. In a dream, or so he said, he recieved their final message. To keep things short and sweet, they were destroyed with the universe that he existed in. Even gods have their own special mortalities. But in a last gift to my "ancestor", they gathered all of their power and put it upon him and gave him a choice. He could either: Take this power, and remain in the phsyical world, but always keep confined to his phsyical limits; or take the power and ascend into a greater, 'immortal' and ever-powerful being and stay forever within a type of "heaven", or greater realm. In other words, become a god. He chose to become a god. He wanted to be able to harness his full power. It made no sense to him to have his cake, and not be able to eat it. Obviously, this was a long time ago. Hundreds of years. To him, it may have only seem like a matter of minutes, or even seconds... maybe even less that that. As I said, time is a trivial thing. With this 'underground', renewed interest in the old ways; of fighting. Being a warrior. It all reminded him of the old days. Back when he was weak, before he had such great power. A part of him felt that need to experience it once more. I am that part of him. He brought me into existence with enough common knowledge of this place that it was not as though I was a new born. Also, just as his creators limited him to his own phsyical being, I am being limited as well. I have the potential, and the stronger my body becomes, the more power I can hold; the more things I can do. That is why I am here.
