1. Heh, I don't know who this Eric Craven is, but I assume he is some wonderful novelist. Heh. Ah, yes, and I need to read this book Sara speaks of. Maybe in the transitional placings of reading the book I shall find my own character in likes with Lacroix. A...twin of Lacroix, perhaps. Heh. You're welcome for the compliment. I am amazed. I won the poll. O.o. Strange, these apparitions of late, Strange.
2. Charles pretty much said what I was going to say. *cough*Damn you, Charles*cough*. Heh, reading this reminds of the end of Julius Ceasar. When Brutus kills himself. I don't know why, but it did. Ah well. I'm all with Charles, as I said. His point is pretty hard to argue; and, also, it's exactly or near what I would've said.
3. I'm pretty ecstatic, this poem turned out good. And it's been so long since I've gotten a good poem. It's a little rough in places, but I think it turned out well. It's for Shy. For our 3 month anniversary. To Kill A Raven Throwing Rocks I'd tear my throat out But then I couldn't speak To kill a raven Isn't it so I'd give everything I have to keep I'd tear it away feathers of what I've lost There'd be no smiles gracing the lines Sometimes you're just too weak The ravens fly overhead No angels no wings Sometimes you're just too weak To kill a raven Isn't it so I'm stuck on words I can't say Feathers inundated and black; turned your back Turned your back again There'd be no smiles gracing these cracks Your beak's black; you're not coming back Not coming back Remember when you're young Those aren't words this isn't where you've run Only gone where the ravens' sung Park's the blood; swing's the lung Remember how you used to breathe It's tearing my throat out I'd have to say Remembering how you used to breathe How you'd just ride and ride the swing To kill a raven Isn't it so Lose the railing Let it all go It's giving everything I'd have to say Remembering when you're young How those words were never there; how far you've run Dirt is the past; it's already dug Sometimes you just lose what was love I'm stuck on words I can't say The swing; the lung; the park I'm stuck on these words and I can't say All you know just seems to fall away Just seems to fall away How you used to breath Seems to fall away Ravens do fly overhead No angels no wings Sometimes you are just too weak It's like you've thrown so many rocks; nothing's sweet It's throwing everything I'd say rolling these rocks Sometimes you learn what's to be a rock and roll You've got this last rock; this last throw It's needing to hit that finger; hit that toe Then you know what it's like to be a rock and not to roll And isn't it so To kill a raven To take that rock And let it roll To kill a raven Isn't it so

I R TEH WIN I like it; it strikes me as there's a mech or something in the background yet there isn't yet there is..or something. Anyways, I always like your banners, it seems, Eate. 8/10. I like. Sexy.
5. Ah, A.I, now there's a good movie that really never got what it deserved. Sure it was long, and the ending was sort of...different. But I still love that movie. I'm not sure if I know a lot about it, Jeh, but I know enough to feel passion for it and all the allegorical, futuristic, and thereby emotions it conveys. As for your first banner. As Shy said, the jagged edges detract from the overall interest. I find that mostly my eyes focus on the jagged edges rather than the whole of the banner. The jagged adges are just so busy, if you know what I'm tying to say. I can say this, though: I do like the Azure banner. The text doesn't fit well, but otherwise, it comes together pretty well. Your avatar is okay. The animation on it is sort of boring; it's pretty much just a water ripple effect thing. It catches your eye on first sight, but it's so boring. It's okay. The banner I like the best, too. The simpleness of the advertisment that you put in there--the one that was shown during the teaser for A.I. itself--really makes one want to see the movie and see what it's about. Ahem, anyways, I think that banner comes together pretty dang well. It could use some work, but otherwise, it's the strongest of the images you've given in this thread. I love the simpleness of the banner, I really love it. Good work.

That wall paper is ugl-uh. The only redeeming factor is the Shy instant message, as per usual. ^_^ And..I sense flawed logic as well. *Glares cumberly at Juu* Why? Why did you do this to you? v-v
8. My vote goes to Harlequin. I was originally just going to give myself the vote, but I love Harlequin's submission this time around. It reminds me somewhat of Poe's writing in some fashions, and I love the complexity of his writing. Anyways, mine didn't deserve a vote at all; I barely spent any time on it this time. I was kind of rushed for time, and, lately, I've been having trouble writing. Hopefully that'll change, though.

Reached for the secret soon Wings fly it's been always the same Green-red wings say through Gah. -.- ... Green; red; black; shine I took her wing; took a fly Fell down; fell in time I hate Haikus; I've always been horrible at them. Eh. Oh well..
10. Well, this poem I wrote in my sig, and I've decided to keep it the way it is. I think it turned out pretty well. The Roses Shall Fall You will cry; I will cry Roses shall fall; roses shall die Uncouth dirt saves our fall Nothing is worth it; nothing at all Catch it catch it fast; watch it blow on past The roses shall fall; the roses shall die You can't stop; you can't know why But the roses shall die; the roses shall die Tears shall fall; they won't work as they fly You I we; he them us Watch them bleed; watch them touch Fall from the stem, leaves; fall from the stem Watch them bleed; watch them touch

*sigh*

The picture on the right is so pixelated; that shouldn't be that hard to change. That blue is ugly, it's too bright; clashes horribly with the other colors in the banner. The effect you have going on in the left looks promising, though; maybe if you went back and reworked this banner, you could really have something. I know you can do better than this.
13. Yes, I am a huge Matrix fan. The first movie is my favorite movie I've ever seen.
14. Strange; simple; sketchy. It's okay, but it could be better. 3/10.
15. Yes. I agree with you completely; this story turned out horrible. I really couldn't find a good angle, and it is just horrible. I really don't think journalism is for me, nor do I really like it. Thank you, though, Piro.
16. Slowly, unnervingly, the oxygen tank drained. The neptune mascot held on for his life. He was found today, wearing headphones and a CD strapped onto him. Waterproof. It was Led Zeppelin's Stairway To Heaven Single CD. Seems Mr. Pooch commited suicide. his family and friends held a funeral service for him today, along with a eulogy service. It is expected the whole nation shall mourn the loss of a great dog. On today, here on NBC, April 11th, 2003.
17. Who was your first kiss? Yes How old [strike]were[/strike] are you? 16. How was it? Sure. What [strike]were[/strike]are the circumstances? I don't know. A lot of things at once. What was your Worst/Best Kiss? The Chimera's Kiss will always be the best. Heh, yeah. Of course I've never had a kiss or anything; haven't even been with a girl dating and whatnot yet. I see it like this: I have my whole life ahead of me. Good idea for a topic, Asuka.
18. I've only seen about four or so episodes. But, it is obvious to me this Anime seriously is something far beyond all I've seen before. The constant allegory and such strikes me as quite opulent and well placed; and the characters. Wow. They read just like from a book. They're dynamic, they change, they actually seem real. Hopefully once I get I job I can fork out the money to buy it all; I'd really love to finally see this whole series.
19. I like it. Simple; allegorical; blue. It has everything I like, heh. I especially like the smudged-like way it looks. And the blues, of course. 7/10. I like it.
20. That's very nice; I especially like the background. It is all shinney-ish-ness and glowering. Very nice. The fairie is sort of rough, but that's besides the point; it's still a very nice job.
21.
Originally posted by Mei Errm...ish TN going to post a new caption?Oo Cause if not somebody else will and the game will go on. 22.
Originally posted by Justin They are soldiers doing their job, yes. But if I began shooting at you with a gun, do you think you would be able to shoot back? Yes? Ok, now add the constant sound of bullets whizzing everywhere around you, explosions, people you've become close to dropping around you--never to get back up. Now can you shoot back? If you really think that, I hope you never have to prove it. I hope I never have to either. I think American society has become extremely desensitized to the horrors of things like war. Resulting in anyone thinking a soldier doing his duty(a duty which, ultimately, is in the service of others more than himself) is anything less than a hero. -Justin
Well said, Justin. Exactly my thoughts. Everyone out there doing war is a hero, and if you don't think so, then you're wrong. I can never see myself ever doing what those braves out there are doing; I can never see myself facing out into war. Don't you people understand that war is life changing? These soldiers, when they get home, they're going to be forever changed; forever. Do you know how long forever is? That's a whole life. I recently read an article in my local newspaper about some veterans here in North Dakota and how they've been changed by war. Everytime they see certain things, it brings back a chain reaction in their mind, and the images of war are right back in their mind. War changes people. If you can't realize that, then I don't know what more you can realize. I haven't a clue what it's like in war, when you kill someone. But these people go to war with the notion that killing people is right, and they grow and grow to not feel any emotions for it. Do you see how hard it is on them? Do you? I can't see it. I sure can't. All I know is it's pretty bad. As it said in the newspaper: "They shall come back as young men in old bodies." If you can't see that all those people out there risking their lives are heroes, I don't know what to say to you. Because they are. War is emotionally destroying. It ruins a person for what they used to be psychologically.
23. I'm fine with what I have here now. I have my paper; I have my pen. That is enough.
24. O;o'';;;;;[''' O';o';;;; oO';; What...is that? O;o' That's a crazy banner. I don't even know the purpose of it, lol. All I see is Barbra Bush and this baby head thing bobbing back and forth. O;o'; I can't rate that, lol. It's damn creative though. You get..the Gerber Award, or something, eh. [Editness] Hm. I finally caught the letters. Now I see, heh. Now I'm just waiting for "Word to your Dad." O.o;;'
