[color=red] Get rid of that background. It is horrid. It makes me want to look away right when I first look at this banner. Add a border and change the background to something more busy or more fitting. The text could be changed another color when you change the background, too. It's kind of plain. The main thing that makes this banner something is the good use of the pictures. They look good in their respective places. This banner just needs a new background; it's overkilling everything else. 4.7/10. [Edit] The second. Very nice. Except I think the halos, or those glowing edges, could be lessend. They overdo it. Otherwise, black works well to accentuate the pictures of the marines or whatever the hell they are, lol. 6.4/10. [/color]

[color=red] That's your first banner? Wow. You have a lot going for you. The fuzzy red on the left face is great; it really sets the entire tone of the rest of the banner for me. Also the fuzz on the text is nice, too, further accentuating the overall tone of the entire banner. The red works well; it seems to just make the entire thing come together. The black in some areas works well with the red. Very good use of color. They work off of one another well. I love the red, simple border. That's what really made this thing work even more for me. Very good for a first attempt. 7.6/10.[/color]

[color=red] The color of the little text slash thing as it is animated across the screen--change it. It's...a whiteish greenish color. It doesn't work with the other colors of the banner. I'd say change it to a dark, but not too dark here, blue. It would make it better as it animates. And yes, make it an indefinite loop. The finite one now I hate. I hate having to reload it constantly. As for the rest of the avatar. Wow. It works really well; especially the blues. The picture of the raven in the left seems well placed, and the dark colors further accentuate the raven's colors. 8.2/10.[/color]

[color=red] The backlash logo just looks so out of place there; the black does nothing for this picture. The image or whatever it is on the right is way too faded. I suggest you lighten it up so it can actually be seen. Mainly the thing that I hate about it is that backlash logo. It just doesn't work where it's at. Actually, surprisingly, I like this one better than the newer one you posted. 4.5/10.[/color]

[color=red] The first one is my favorite; I really like it. It has enough going on...and the girl just looks so beautiful in it. I especially like the blue, and I also like that nice watery effect to the left. The second one didn't load for me. The third one is good too; the girl looks innocent and beautiful, and the pink is a great choice of color. It works well. Except I didn't like the effect on the left as much; but overall, I like it. The first one is wonderful. I would give it a 7.8/10. The second, as I said, didn't load for me. The third is especially nice as well. 7.4/10. Just watch out, though, D_A, don't overuse this style. It'll get old fast. [Edit] I went back, and it loaded this time. Again, it's nice; but it's getting duller and duller everytime I look at it. They are all so similiar. All they are is different pictures of girls with a different color that somewhat tries to convey them. But seeing as they are nice, and that I hope you don't overuse this style, I like it. 6.9/10.[/color]

[color=red] The background and everything else that's in the picture just seem to be there because they can. They don't do anything overally, and it's so plain. Again, the text, it's so plain and it seems to be there just to take up space. The only thing I liked was the actual picture of Steiner; it seemed to actually be there for a reason. Otherwise, pretty good for a first try. Better than I could ever do. 4/10.[/color]

[color=red] It just doesn't work. The text is plain; it hides everything else. THe background it what mainly kept me looking. It's blue, and I love blue hues. Otherwise, I don't like it. The text is too plain and the color of it doesn't work; the characters just don't look interesting. 3.6/10.[/color]

[color=red] Better cropping mainly. The white lines over the two links sticks out like a bleeding thumb. Otherwise, the colors work well. The text is a little plain..maybe there's room for improvement there. And also, the flash of light or whatever on the left. It seems somewhat out of place. I don't know. It does look good...but overall, something's just missing from this banner. And that left flash of light doesn't fill the gap well. 6.2/10.[/color]

But if you are going to post a new thread, make the intentions of your thread clear. Thank you. As for what makes me angry? Mainly my parents. Lately they have really been getting on my nerves. That's the only main thing. I don't know, I don't really get angry easily. I just don't find a reason to be angry really..[/color]

Writing's like a good friend when there's no one else there for me. Music. I don't sing it. But I certainly have some aspirations to be a song writer, if it's possible. Plus I listen to it whenever I write usually. Turn on something that conveys my mood. Music is just a whole different ground for me to express myself somehow. I think my moods really express me. They do usually come through. If I'm mad, it comes through, seething. If I'm sad, alone, it usually comes through. Somehow. Mainly just writing, though, as I said. All though it's my dark side I usually edge out when I write--that's where I like to go.[/color]

[color=red] I have only mooched off my brother and played it for about an hour. It's much too much of the same old same old. When I played this, it felt like a moldy piece of bread that's trying to force me to eat it. There's too much old, crumply, distasteful nostalgia. Too stale. The new pokemon are just carbon copies of the old ones. The new region is just a carbon copy of the old two from past versions. Everything is a carbon copy of everything else. Sure, there's little new quirks here and there, but seriously, Nintendo needs to totally revamp this game the next time they decide to make it. It's really really getting stale. The better graphics are nice. The entire game still is a joy to play. But it just feels like I've played this game over and over again before. This tiring, holding feeling that makes me just want to go back and play Gold again instead. So, mainly, I'm happy with what Nintendo has given. But next time I'm not going to be so nice. It's starting to get too stale.[/color]

[color=red] The overlaying of Goldberg and The Rock is horrid. I just want to snip it out of the banner. I'm going to not be too harsh...I haven't seen the first banner, but I'm sure this is a very great improvment. The main thing about this banner is that the colors just don't work, nor do the pictures put in it. They just don't have that special look. That special pizzaz of a banner that's just got that look. Hm. Anyways, nice attempt. Keep going. 4/10.[/color]

[color=red] It's nice. I especially like the gold font. But...it's just too much green for me. The entire thing pretty much blends in if you don't look at it close enough. Very good cropping, though. It just doesn't really suit my tastes. All that green, heh. I know a forest is green, but I feel like I want to kill and slash out all the green when I look at it. 7.3/10.[/color]
