Blah. You would be right Bremma...very trickay. Bah. *hits self in head* Oh, and Desbreko, that would be...Ultima I believe. I'm pretty certain there...but I could be wrong. Question: In FFVII, when you are in Cloud's remembering sequence near beginning of the game, what level is Sephiroth, what level is Cloud, and what materia does Cloud have (I believe it is only one, not certain)

Let's see here....you've got The Magus Sisters, so that I suppose counts as three, then you've got Shiva of course...and...possibly Valefor, if you'd count that as a female. So it's 4, or 5, depending upon Valefor. Question: What are the names of the dragons in FFVI, how many are there, and what do you get for killing them all.

I abstain from doing a New Year's Resolution. It's meaningless. People choose mostly things which are either selfish to take at, or things that they are uprightly addicted to to try and grow away from. Either of those things ever turn out good, and it's just all pointless in the end.
Originally posted by Deus Ex Machina There's how I came up with my name... let's just say it mostly comes from the game Desu Ex and also occasional run-ins with the dictionary. Essentially, Deus Ex Machina means somethinng along the lines of "An unexpected solution to a seemingly unsolvable problem" and is mostly used in drama, but sometimes to refer to real life situations as well. When I found that out I thought "cool" (as you do) and "that'd make a great screen name". Although at first I wansn't aware that you could have spaces in your screen name, so for 10 months or so my screen-name was Deus_Ex_Machina.
I thought it means something along the lines of God comes from the Machine...or something. Oh well, it could be a multiple meaning.

Writing Today's Poem [M -- As a Precaution]
Mitch replied to Heaven's Cloud's topic in Creative Works
Pain Skyed Please remember, the sky's my fall. please remember, I've fell through my mind. I'll feel better for eternal. for wishes are pained in memory, and tears are cried inside, kept to my mind, lies. depression is but a mask I've torn, a mask I've worn. it feels tight, pained, tingled. it feels nothing, something, everything. I've breathed, I've lived. I've sighed, I've died inside. time takes time, mind takes mine, falling is living, living is falling. human is fell, perfection is never. searching is right, falling for might. I'm holding myself, giving it all reason. haven't I held, hasn't it hurt for long enough. when is eternal neverending, when is eternal breathed neverfore. it's all pointless, it's all felled, inset. I'm losing, it's never for won. give me something, give me nothing. that's what I have, that's what I deserve. for pain is righted, and felt, it is binded. -
It has a nice beat, and it's fairly well thought out and placed forth. Not too shabby, there. I'd give it 'bout a 8.5/10. Good job.

Mithioth looked sadly at the weeping bartender. He felt the tears coming, those selfish, guilty tears, but before they came, he looked at the ground, fighting them back. Jobb: Uh...Mithy...what's...wrong? Mithioth held his hand out in front of Jobb's face as he stared dully at the ground. Mithioth: It's...it's...nothing. Nothing. He said, moving his hand back unto his side stolidly. He moved his head back up from the ground, a collection of tears now burning hotly on his face. He turned toward Jobb, placing his hands on his nose as he sniffled. Mithioth: Nothing. Jobb, we've got to find her for him. So, let's go...if you will, that is.
Originally posted by MathGuy2 If moderators can edit polls...then how do we know that some moderator isn't sneaking in at midnight and changing the votes? Not that the moderators would do that...would they?
That's why Mods are chosen to be responsible people. Although...I just might be doing that *gasp*. But I did edit it, to be truthful. I just moved my first vote, the one to Duo Maxwell, and moved it to Kenny. No biggie. At least, I hope not

Damn you Flashy. I was just going to say that. Eh. I saw it yesterday. And of course, it was well done. Except, as I think Valen said,
they should have gone up to where the second book stops, in-between the fight against Shelob, the spider. Because that was one of the best and most dramatic parts of the entire book for me. I'm not going to give away much of it for now, but let's jst say it has something to do with the cave Gollum mentioned, heh.
The special effects were even that much more of a wow factor this time around. The battle at Helm's Deep was utterly awesome and completley amazing.
It added even that much more element and surround to you that Middle-Earth was a real place, and they just executed the battle so well. So very well. That part of it firmly gripped my down in my seat.
Another thing that was in the second book that they should've included was
Eowyn's slaying of the Nazgul Witch King. That was also a very sweet part from the second book. Ah, but I suppose they're saving all of these gem parts from the second to make the third even better. And saying the third one's going to be better already is pretty damn good considering how good this one was.
If you haven't seen this movie yet, I'd get yourself down as fast as you can. And if you think Tolkien's world isn't for you, then you aren't giving him a chance. His books, and the movie of course, all have many prevelant human emotions, natures, and just all around things that people can pick out and feel deep inside themselves, and relate powerfully to.
From the love of Arwen and Aragorn, the relationship of Sam and Frodo, and so very many more relationships and just little things found in the books and the movies, if you're denying this a chance, then you're missing out on very much. On another note, I'd like to see The Silmarillion made into a movie. That book I found to be even better than The Lord of The Rings, and I think it'd make one damn awesome movie if they took it and did it as good as The Lord of The Rings. Ah, but that's only a dream. Probably won't happen.
Oh, and another thing that added more to this movie.
The humor, as you've all mentioned. I didn't really look to find any humor in any of these movies, I mean, well, there was humor in the books, of course, but the books have a more serious tone then the movie put forth. But that's fine, because a movie will never be exactly like a book. I've learned to accept that, and I've always stood by that the book is always better. Which in this case, it is.

Question: Name three characters in FF7 that also made an appearance in ChronoTrigger.
Uh, is that a trick question or are you just fooling around @_@ Eh, no character's from FF7 made an appearance in Chrono Trigger, I mean, it came out way before. You might be thinking of Chrono Cross...but...eh...*falls over*

Beh. It's pretty possible that if they were to make a FFVII sequel, it would never be able to match up to the first game. The first game just was magic, and magic doesn't repeat itself over and over again, it occurs in sparse and uneven crumbles of ground. Eh, anways, as James said, that article doesn't even point anything out. It gives the idea that it may be so, but when something's not clearly stated, it's usually just for rumor and upbuild, or just to dissapoint.

Question: Beh...*thinks* In FFVI, what is the item you recieve from the brontosaurus thing mentioned above, and what does it do?

Well, we had to make up our own product and do a infomercial type of thingie with it. This would be the result. I haven't given it yet, but it's only a day away--Friday. Bleh. Auspice Flaw By: Mitchell Smith What's the thing wrong with us all? What is it? Is it there? Is it anywhere? Ah, but it's here (points to head). But wait, what about here (points to heart). No, no, no, it's our flaws. Our very obtainable, holdable flaws. Those are what make us human. Those, they are what make us us. And haven't you always wondered, always pondered what it would be if flaws really were true, if they really, really, were us, and we pushed all else aside, leaving our raw and crushing flaws in plain view for pain to be caused, and for pain to be seen? Ah, then Auspice Flaw is for you, my friend. A casual gift for the prankster-in-the-making, an experiment for yours and mine. Auspice flaw is that, and it's so much more. So very much more. Animal tested, insanely and patentedly approved, it's a magical perfume in disguise, a prank for those who've longed a sigh. It's a brew, bewitched and mystic, mysterious and wonderous. Once sprayed, it acts within the pheromones, creating a very negative stimulus in the central nervous system, causing an intense sense of unceasing pressure and nostalgia. This pressure is Auspice Flaw in its awe-inducing work. The pressure's then concocted with another instantaneous reaction happening parallelly, the nerves all about the inflicted tightening, keeling, and crunching with pain and spasm, causing even that much more stress. This gigantic influx of raw and scarring stress, in most cases, causes the victim's flaws to immediately directify themselves in an anxiety forced anger. This seemingly endless supply of anger is, in most cases, depending upon the dosage, bloodily violent. It is only recommended to spray no more than three sprays upon one person at a time. It is also very highly stressed that you run a full and complete three feet away from the victim once sprayed. Also, in many rare, sparse cases there have been side effects, and even allergic reactions. It is very extremely recommended that you first read thoroughly the label on your container of Auspice Flaw before use. What's it made up of, you ask? What is it that makes it all happen, that makes it all work? Most of it is very secretive, and I cannot disclose much of it. But what I can tell you is that it is a very tried-and-true process which makes Auspice Flaw Auspice Flaw. And of course, it is mainly composed of water. Along with the water, many different kinds of scented herbs, and mystical plants and other goodies are put into the process. Then, all of these ingredients are then scrunched all together, and soaked in a large bowl of distilled water for over one year. And of course, after all of this processing, it is delivered, and used by you, our tired-and-true customers. Auspice Flaw's been widely successful since it's first release. It's won many numerous awards, including the hotly coveted, widely cherished, Best New Prankster Gadget Award at the yearly Technology Festival. Along with many other awards, Auspice Flaw's grown a fanatic cult following upon first being released in 2001. Coil all of that with the newly released, more potent, more fun, Ultra Auspice Flaw, which opened this year to countless record-breaking sales, and you've got one heck of a product nipping at your heels. And don't you just want to go out, and try this product? To have it for your own abuse? Ah, you say, too expensive? Well, then, I've got just the deal for you. Just the dilliest deal. What if I were to tell you I'd sell you over a five-months supply of Auspice Flaw for a one-time price of only two payments of $24.99? Eh, you take me for a liar? Well, what if I were to throw in our more highly flaw-inducing, more head-pooshing new Ultra Auspice Flaw? Then don't delay, pick up that phone right away, and dial 222-3333. That's 222-3333. And make those flaws be laws, by golly God!

As Mithioth approached the figures standing solemn next to the Taven, they were gone. Gone just like that. Mithioth let out a long exhaled sigh, and trodded into the Tavern. He was immediatley surrounded to the incessant and unending chatter, and the quiet, surrounding music. He sat down, next to some sort of creature. A rather large and burly one it appeared to be. The creature it seemed was arguing with the barkeeper. It seemed he had no money to pay. Mithioth took his pack from upon his back and began fishing around in it. He brought out a few stray rupees, and gently, very gently, he tapped the strange creature on the shoulder.

Well said, CWB. There's also the fact that you don't even know if she's really who she's put forth. She could be a completly different person, even a total liar. I'd also take that into account when you think of meeting her possibly.

Meh, it's always fun to argue aimlessly :) I know he doesn't believe in God. He doesn't have to. As long as someone believes in at least on thing--mainly themselves--then they have a subjective and noteworthy reason to believe that they can live, and that they want to live. I was only saying he has turned to God at at least one point in his life, even if it may not matter. I wasn't meaning to state that directly he should belive in god, or he'll blah blah blah. I'm saying sorry to you, Harlequin, and any others that are angry, stolid, or what else about what I've said. I'm just becoming rather depressed and stresed these days, and I sometimes lose my focus... Yes, back to topic.. Eh, Fate and destiny are almost the exact same of one another. But both point out the same thing. Life has a route set out from the get-go. I don't know, I really don't believe in either of them. But I do believe that we are given certain paths which would be more perpetual, and those that would be shorter, and they are al laid out for us, our choices. In the end, it's the person that makes the destiny, and the person that weaves the fate.

Corner Do Hope For There Is Care Look to the corner? right over there. that cozy mourner, he's alight in impair. and he's sitting, sittin' right over there. he's trapped in pain, you can just feel him strain. his hand's on his heart, his heart's scattered apart. but what's he lost? what's he gained? questions he doesn't have that day, only you, the one walking astray. in his hands he holds his hands, he spins the wheel; he starts the stop, stops the start. and in his start, he holds the parts. all the scattered pieces. he wanders the puzzle, his eyes ahazed, his mind apained. and look to the corner, right over there? he's still the cozy mourner, alight with despair. but something's different in his gaze, he looks worn thin, no longer a hand heart. his eyes look cynical, lost to pair. he's let the pain come through, let go of the pieces of the puzzle, let them be strewn about. and hey, you're looking to the corner? the one right over there. you're looking straight at it, forerunner in fare. and you've looked long at him, then, you at last take whim, and approach 'im. firstly he only turns away, shy, sullen with dismay. but time passes the phase, and opens the source of his rage. all o' the sudden, he's unquiet. he spews his emotions, forefronted to you. melancholy, he's depressed with frosty buds of dew. he says, loud and strewn, his life's going nowhere; he feels lost, meaningless, even at you. but your heart aches for him, you feel stricken, sad as limb. but you've no ways to help, you're bitten, but without affliction felt. for your teeth having nothing of this sort dealt. but you've given him hope, given him a ledge from which to cope, a glove to mesh. and as the discussion drags, and becomes slowly to end of way, you wish him all you can. and tell him, tell that man? he's the one in the corner, right over there. tell him, tell him you care.
