The skin on my face peeled grotesquesly. I massaged my aching hand. Corey- "What do you mean 'I wished'?" Starr spread her hands wide. Starr- "I just wished. First I wished for a blanket and one appeared. Then I wished for a house. And this appeared." I shook my head and looked at the others. Corey- "Does this make sence to anyone else? It sure as hell doesn't make sence to me!" Everyone stood there. No one had any answers. Starr was obviously the catalyst for these events. What the hell was going on? "If I walk out of this door," I pointed to an old fashioned oak door, "am I going to see the woods and my buring house?" I set my gaze on Starr. "Am I?"

Hmmm... What? Perhaps you could tell all of us what a Guru quiz is.

I've never driven on the freeway. But once I do, I don't expect that I'll speed. I dont' want to jack up my parents insurance any more than necessary.

*humms inocently* Belongs in the Music Forum.... I really could care less about Tupak in general, but I've heard of far wierder things than surviving being shot be five bullets. If there is even the slightest possibility that he is alive, than more power to him. I'd be impressed if he was alive.
Originally posted by BlueGender My favorite food would have to be Ramen, my dad had it when he lived in Korea and when he came back to the US he found out they packaged and sold it here so i've been eating it since I was a baby. Ramen is very high in sodium, or at least the kind I buy is.

What you encountered wasn't a rip off. A rip off, or what you're thinking of, is something that pretends to be something else. Duracell and Durasell are two different companies. Durasell is probably way cheaper. don't expect too much from cheap stuff. There is usually a reason it's cheap. *wonders if anyone has noticed the signature flipping us all off...*

OOC: I do this way too much. *rummages around in a box* Am I too hopeful? *digs deeper into the box* No. I just hate seeing good RPGs wasted. I've waited long enough. *takes out shock paddles and plugs them into the wall* I realize this is a double post and against the rules. *looks at Justin* CLEAR! ~~~ I felt incredibly bad about what I had almost done. It wouldn't have been as bad if I had been being carried by a human, but I almost drained a vampire. A few vampires rushed past us toward the entrance. I took note silently and watched the ground, still remaining motionless. It was important to have the element of surprise. I felt a gust of wind as yet another door opened. This one was large, made out of a red metal. Or it could just be smeared with blood. Either way, it was in terrible taste. ???- "Vampire Seeker Lorn Ashtargoth, step forward." My captor walked tentatively and laid me on the floor. I shut my eyes tighty. He clipped off the silver string. My wounds healed immediately. "What is the name of the Zu Oxi Balik ve Vaempyroh that you have brought us?" Lorn- "His name is Ryan Schezar. I believe his sire lives in the north. His blood smells of snow." The vampires above the floor grunted with disgust. ???- "Rise Schezar. I know you are awake." My eyes snapped open. Lorn hissed at me for being able to trick him into thinking I was asleep. I stood slowly, noting the small amount of gaurds in the chamber. As I watched, two more dissapeared into the shadows and rushed for the front. Ryan- "You seem to have a problem. Vampire hunter perhaps?" The vampires grunted again and looked down at me. ???- "You have disgusted your race by taking the blood of animals rather than the human prey. However, we do know the effects of this. You have very powerful blood running through your veins. Most likely you posess a great amount of knowlege. We will kill you, I assure you of that. But you will live on inside of us. Now ready yourself. Lorn will carry out your sentence." I hung my head and let out a short burst of laughter. Ryan- "Listen. You aren't completely aware of the benefits of using animals instead of humans for survival." Lorn raised an overly large sword. Quite gaudy actually. "Let me demostrate." I raised my hand and Lorn swung the sword directly at me. It stopped a good six inches from my midrift. Lorn looked at me with questioning eyes. "By not having the need to hunt every night, we have been able to not only broaden our knowlege, but our mental powers. I forte in telekinesis." The sword bent around sharply breaking Lorns arm and slicing him in half. "Now a vampire hunter isn't all you have to worry about." My blood was pounding through my veins.

No one else is signing up. Start the RPG, before everyone loses interest in it.

Just a question. What time period is this set in? I'm guessing medieval, but please correct me if I'm wrong. Name: Ryan Schezar Race: True Human Age: 23 Weapon: Two Bladed Gauntlets Appearance: Ryan is about 6' tall and has stringy brown hair. His eyes are usually grey but change to a light blue in times of great stress. His build is medium. His face cleanly shaven Short Bio: Ryan has been taught to hate the dragonlords from birth. His parents captured one and slaughtered it before his ten year old eyes. The dragonlords are not people. They are monsters. They use technicalities to enforce martial law and kill humans at the slightest whim. We will succeed. The dragon menace will be removed from this world.

It's too big. Maximum image size for signature is 100 pixel high and 500 pixel width. I guess you could resize or crop. And it is a damn good rip.

I didn't really take it seriously, but I also didn't see the comedy in it. Some people just have that state of mind. I don't hold it against them. Others shouldn't either. It's just how they think.

The voices had quieted to a whisper. I had finnaly gotten a cup of tea to turn out right. The pine blend had worked wonders on my nerves. I was calm. I was soothed. But most of all, I was sleepy. Sleep had been something very hard to come by in the recent weeks. Perhaps it was the fact that the voices had quieted. Or, on a darker note, perhaps it was the small sip of blood. I walked wobbily to my bed and ploped down. The sheets smelled of the outdoors and my pillow felt like silk. I sank into them and slipped into a deep sleep. ~~~ Ryan- "Where am I?" I found mysefl in a desolate red landscape. The sky was the color of light dirt and the ground a blood red. The sun shone high in the sky, but it was black. There was no yellow or white in the circle. Just a black that seeped into your soul and gripped it with a chilling hand. I looked around and spotted a dark figure hulking towards me. "Who are you and where is this place?" ???- "This," he spread his arms wide, "is the expanse. It's a land of nothingness that exists between the terrestrial world and the sub-terrestrial. You would know the latter as hell. Who I am is not important right now. I am simply a messanger." As he neared I spotted several torn black garments and thick chains hanging from his body. I could not make out his face... It was still covered by shadow. "What I have come to tell you may come as a shock. You, Ryan, are-" All of the chains suddenly tensed up and black blood squirted from where the chains were attached. I cringed as a spout of blood hit my head. It smelled evil, if such a thing could exist. "I guess they will not... permit me to tell you yet. I will come to you again. Untill then, stay away from the skies." I cocked my head at him as he dissapeared. Ryan- "What?" ~~~ I sat straight up in my bed in a full sweat. The room was hot... Way to hot for the month. I looked around through sweat stinged eyes. There was a fire going in my fireplace. I hadn't lit one... I walked over, shakily and threw dirt on the flames. They extinguished and I opened the door. A few mice would be a small price to pay for cool air.

RPG DCHCT - Department of Counter Hacking and Counterterrorism (play)
Corey replied to BondFanatic's topic in Theater
Sharp. It's the only way. A sharp blade is a silent blade. A silent blade is a smart blade. A smart blade is a deadly blade. My knives were all deadly. I rubbed them slowly with the wet stone and sharpeend the already sharp edge even more. For hours on end I would do this. Some called me repetitive, or fanatical. I prefer obsesive compulsive. It seems to work out better on paperwork. The hairs on my neck were straight up. Something was happening. It wouldn't do any good to dwell on the future, though. Sharpness was key, and you could only be sharp when you lived in the moment. -
OOC: Read the posts more carefully Kiara. My character is asleep. ~~~ June- "Did you want more milk Corey?" I nodded and my mother feverishly poured milk into an overflowing bowl of cereal. Her hair was tied in a bow and there wasn't a trace of drugs in the entire kitchen. On any normal day, I would come downstairs and find used needles or chunks of used rolling paper. Once in a while a burnt crack pipe. But today was pleasent. The sun shone in the windows, my mother was happy, and my father sat across from me reading the morning paper. Frank- "Corey? Did you need a ride to school today? I could pick you up some pizza on the way. For lunch, I mean." He gave me an earnest smile and ducked behind his paper. I heard a snorting sound and dropped my spoon. I knew that sound. "So how 'bout it, champ? Want a ride?" The paper came down and I saw white powder beneath his nose. My mother released a grunt of pleasure from the stove. She turned around with a needle hanging from her arm. My father gave me an impatient look. "Well? What's your choice? I don't have all damn day!" I pushed my cereal away and stood up. Corey- "I think I"ll walk, but thanks. Maybe tomarrow..." I began walking from the room when I heard the screech of the chair on the kitchen floor. My father had stood up. Frank- "Get back here you little f*ck! You will never talk back to me again!" I stopped in my tracks readying myself for the blow. Coke made him violent... It was in the morning for Gods sake... I turned around to see the entire kitchen in flames. My father was running around wildly, thin pieces of scorched paper flying from his hands. My mother was screaming, the needle still hanging from her arm. Ryan- "Burn... Burn yourselves to hell." I smiled. My father stopped thrashing and walked right up to me. I could feel the heat coming off him in waves. He stuck his burning face right up next to mine. Frank- "It's you that will burn, boy!" ~~~ I let out a groan and thrashed in my sleep. The other members of the group stared at me.

Let's keep this constructive before it turns into spam. List a reason for why you like or dislike foods people. My favorite food item would easily have to be sunflower seeds. I like to eat them with friends and chuck the shells at them. They usually react by puching or kicking me. My least favorite is cucumber, simply because I get violently sick to my stomach when I eat it.

Ryan- "It's very nice to meet both of you." I gave them both a smile. "Now, I will arrange for a vehicle to come over here at about seven and pick you up. We have a flight to catch at-" Kaya- "Umm... Ryan. I have a plane. It's the families." I nodded slowly, handed her the envelope and brought out a scrap of paper. I scribbled a few number and names, and handed the paper back to her. Ryan- "Here is the address of our team's house. It's big," I looked around, "but maybe not quite this big. We do have a few extra rooms." I smiled at Kaya and looked toward Jon. They both blushed slightly. "Well I'll be off. If you want to bring anyone call me on my cell phone. The number is on the paper with the address. I'll see you tomarrow Kaya, and Jon, I'll see you later." He nodded and smiled. I shook Kaya's hand and walked back to my Buick. She seemed nice. In fact, both of my new team members did. Perhaps it wasn't a mistake. We will see after the first round.

Hmmmm.... < theory > Time is like a river. It flows. What happens when you throw something into the river? River goes around it. The object might stay put for a while, but eventually it will move. Same thing with time. Say that somehow one does end up going back in time. He tries his damndest to screw with the world, i.e. assasinating Hitler. He succeeds. But because time flows, someone just like Hitler would rise up. It may be a few years later, but it would still happen. Just like a river isn't the same once a rock is chucked in, but it does continue to flow. On the subject of faster than light travel, I refer you to one theory. I'm not sure what it is officially called, but I've always called it the Bend Theory. When one breaks the light barrier, there will be one of two results. One, the vehicle will be destroyed from the cross-over. Two, the vehicle survives but creates an abnormality in it's time line. Because the vehicle is traveling faster than light, it moves faster than the flow of time (to help, most of our time measurements are in accordance to light. Light year, day, night, etc). When it re-enters normal time, sub-light, the vehicle has jumped forward in time. I think I need to take physics in order to fully understand this kind of thing. < /theory >

I like most of my teachers. Unfortunately, my World History teacher has become rather b*tchy over the last month. I think the year has wore her down.

??- "Are you alright?" My eye was almost spinning in it's socket. I could barely keep it under control. I had just killed two people and met two others. They seemed nice, but who could tell? Suspision was a close friend. Paranoia was closer. Corey- "We have to go, or they will find us..." Both looked confused. "The cops! They're going to find me!" One of them looked at me. ??- "Who are you?" I sat down on the ground and began to shiver. My adrenaline was gone. My muscles were spent and my body very weak. I looked up at the one who had spoken. Corey- "I'm Corey..." They both looked at me cautiously. I moved and the bruise on my stomach flared with white hot pain. I doubled over and vomited. They both rushed over and asked me if I was ok. I pushed off their hands. "I'm fine, I'm fine... I'll be ok... Now who are you two?" One stepped forward and helped me sit back up carefully. Ravwrin- "I'm Ravwrin... This is Starr." Starr- "You came from the way the smoke is. Did you see any fire?" I barked a harsh little laugh and smiled for the first time in an hour. Corey- "Yes, I did." They looked at me strangely, yet again, but said nothing. I rolled over on my side and began to doze, the burns across my body beggining to peel.

OOC: I sincerely hope that you are not reffering to me, Nightwing. If you had bothered to read prior posts, my character is busy delivering mail. ~~~ Ryan- "Tomarrow my dear. I'll send a vehicle over to your house at seven o'clock sharp. Don't be late. We have a plane to catch." I gave her a smile and began walking back to my Buick. Sakura- "Ryan!" I turned and smiled. "What's the name of our team." She gave me a yearning smile. Ryan- "The Hyper Speed Knights. I'll see you tomarrow." I clicked open the door and stepped in. Before turning on the car I popped open my laptop. I punched in the name of my second teammate and brought up her current location. It wasn't hard to track a person when you knew their crystal type. A school... Interesting. She should be at home preparing for the tournament. It was no matter. I keyed the Buick and listened to the engine rev to life. It would be a slightly long drive, but I would make it in time. I eyed the envelope again and a chill went though my spine. They were both so young... Was I making a mistake?

Hmmm... I can't tell if this is spam or not... Sooooo..... Ra: Walking And Thinking
-
Ryan- "Almost there..." I touched the electronic probe to the crystal again. It flickered with power and lit up. I smiled and dropped all of my tools. Repairs were complete. My crystal was better than ever before. Now all it needed was a test run. I clipped it into the chain around my neck and walked outside. It glinted in the sun with an eager mood. I popped my knucles and began powering up my crystal. It immediately jumped to level fifteen. I smiled. That was seven more than before. I began to run. Everything seemed to slow down. Birds that would normally be swooping through the air did their acrobatics at almost half speed. I stopped and looked around. It was all going well. My crystal powered up again. To sixty this time. All of my muscles gave a small spasm. I had never jumped up so many levels before. I felt my heart beat faster. It might become to straining in long matches. I'd have to cope... The world looked like it was standing still. My sprinklers were shooting out water at a snails pace. I walked up and touched the steam of water coming out. It slowly impacted against my hand. I took my hand away and watched the small distortion I had made fall to the ground. Ryan- "Wonderful... Anymore?" I crouched down and began concentraiting. If I could do this right I would be able to power up my crystal to maximum capabilities. "GrrrrrrraaaAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!" I stood up fast and my crystal gave off a burst of light. The small indicator on my wrist showed me at level seventy eight. My jaw dropped. The most I had ever been able to get before was sixty three. I felt my muscles ripple again and began powering down. The sprinkler returned to it's original state, and the birds flew around at their normal speed. This years tournament would be a piece of cake. I walked into the house and put away the tools I had left out. Two white envelopes caught my eye. They each bore the sign of my team, the Hyper Speed Knights. Ryan- "Shi?..." I had forgot to mail them. They were invitations to my team. After I had taken time off to modify my crystal, my previous team quit. They weren't willing to wait for me to finish. A new team was needed. I spent three whole days looking for loyalty-free fighters. Free players, if you prefer. There were many that were good, but these two had shown real potential. One of them lived near me. Perhaps I would go and drop it off to her personally.

I awoke to the sound of a large metal door closing. I opened my eyes and looked around, being very careful not to move. I did not want to alert my captor to my conciousness. I inhaled deeply through my nose. No garlic... Good. Either he thought that the last dose had put me into a coma, or that he just no longer needed it. Both ways work to my advantage. I slipped my gaze down to my wrists. They were still bound with the silver string. I wouldn't be able to do anything untill he took them off. Or could I? He stopped and knocked on another gate. A small peephole opened. Gaurd- "Request?" I felt the tension in the gaurd highten. He didn't like my captor. ??- "Vampire Seeker Lorn Ashtargoth requesting entrance to the Main Council Chamber. Tell them I have what they asked me to find." The man gave a grunt and dissapeared. The vampire shifted me. If he didn't think I was still asleep he would never have done so. His neck was in perfect position to bite. I could drain him in a matter of seconds and escape from this place. My fangs extended slightly. My pupils dialated, giving me an even better view of my surroundings. I could hear the old blood slowly working it's way through his veins. It was powerfull... By the Gods was it powerful... I liked my lips silently. Inching... Going so very slowly... Almost there... Gaurd- "Request accepted. You will proceed to the main chamber immediately." Lorn- "Thankyou." The door opened and we walked through.

Personality Number One- Hmmm... Perhaps I should have explained a little better. There was a freestyle contest going on in the cafeteria one day and there was nothing but black people participating. This mousy, incredibly thin, short freshman walks into the middle and challenges this senior. He accepts, obviously thinking about an easy ten bucks. They lay their cash on the table and go at it. The senior goes for about three soid minutes without messing up. He finnaly messes up and the freshman get's his turn. He goes for five an a half solid minutes of very fast freestyling without messing up and pisses the hell out of the senior. That's why I laughed. I bet you would have to. Personality Number Two- Who uses 'STFU' anymore? And you're calling me the stupid one?

The branches whipped across my body, lacerating my skin. I barely felt it. The cuts on my face bled into my eyes turning everything a shade of red. Adrenaline pumped through my body. The trees looked like a million arms trying to stop me. The sky seemed like a dark blue blanket. The needled underfoot seemed as defined as if it was daylight. And the burns on my front felt hot and painless. The skin was already beginning to peel and scab over. I ran straight into a very large branch and landed flat on my back. Corey- "Ungh!" I got back up, slightly winded but still pumped full of adrenaline. A lunatic smile was plastered on my face. I had just destroyed the two worst aspects of my life. I was free. How good it felt! "Free... I muttered and ran on. The adrenaline was beginning to fade from my body. I could feel the pain of my burns. Although they were minor, they still hurt. There was a clearing up ahead. I could hear hushed voices... Were they looking for me? Already? ??- "What was that?" said one. ??- "I don't know... Do you smell smoke?" They were just two young people, such as myself. Why not. I think I'll join them. The blood rushed through the cuts on my body. A thick purple bruise was spreading across my stomach from where I landed. My bad eye twitched madly.
