Originally posted by Heaven's Cloud Well good luck with your ordeal guys. I think it is pretty cool that you care about your girlfriends enough to remain monagmous for extended periods of time.
Maybe you missed something in my post HC. I am not with this girl. We both care about eachother deeply but can't commit due to the 1500+ mile (2437.5 kilometer) distance that is coming between us. I have not yet come into the money that will allow me to take Drivers Ed, and no one I know will just up and drive me to Las Vegas to see this wonderful vibrant young woman I love...

I sat straight up in bed. The sweat dripped off of my body onto the white sheets I slept on. Without thought I cooled the room a good ten degrees. My body broke out in gooseflesh and I toweled the sweat off of my body. My room was rather small. I liked it that way. It was something I could keep clean. I stood up, shuddering at the dream. I put on a pair of undergarments and wrapped a robe around my body. I flung my hair back and tied it back. I stepped towards the door and stopped. Something was wrong. There was no noise in the house. I grabbed my knife and slowly slid the door open. I stepped out into the hall, the robe not fully tied. I opened the bathroom door and looked inside cautiously. Nothing... Nohing but a rusted toilet and a small sink. I stepped around the door and moved quietly into the kitchen. Something was also wrong here, but what I could not tell. I scoured the room, looking for something out of place. I looked toward the pot rack, then the sin, then the window. I looked from the kitchen to the front door. The lock was broken. I gripped my knife tightly and moved toward my parents room. I pressed my ear against the door. There was no noise from here either. There was none of my fathers constant snoring. I grabbed the knob and slowly pushed it open. I stood there, stupified by what I saw. I turned back toward the kitchen and was finally able to place what was missing. One of the knifes from the counter was gone. I turned from the kitchen back toward to my parents room. I walked int, losing my knife and letting it clang to the ground. My parents layed there, almost like they were still sleeping. Only I knew better. The blood on the sheets and the gash on their throats spoke all that needed to be known. Their eyes layed closed. The look of sleep still on their faces. There was no struggle, there was no fight. They were killed while they slept. I looked to the far wall, towards the closet. It was where we kept the money. It was gone. Everything in the closet was gone. I put my head in my hands and cried. Later today I would bury them. And then... Well who knows.

I lifted the burning log with a spell and hurled it at the thing. It easily deflected it, taking only minscule damage. It dived at me, as I was the first to attack. I jumped into the air about twenty feet and aimed a lightning bolt at it's head. The spell crackled towards the serpant. At the last possible second it moved it's head, dodging the spell. My attack connected with the sand, melting a small bit of it into glass. I turned my head to a whistling sound on my left. The things tail arched at my body. I was hit in the midsection. I fell to the ground, most of my ribs broken. I exhaled and inhaled, feeling a sharp pain in my lungs. I drew another breath and found I could not. My ribs must have punctured my lungs. I slipped into unconsiousness from asphyxiation.

OOC: Ack... I think you guys left me in the town when the fireball hit. I'm just going to play it like that, seeing that you guys left on horses an I didn't have one. -------------------------------------------------------------------- I walked out of the smoldering building into a world of fire. I shielded my partially blinded eyes and looked around the town. I knew there was fire, I felt the heat, but all I could see was an orange glare. Several people walked by me. I shouted for help, and that I was partially blind but they were too absorbed with getting out of the blazing town. I walked around the town looking for the outskirts. The outskirts meant the town ended. And that meant that I could get out of the inferno. I stumbled over a gravestone. I was at the graveyard that I had helped to protect earlier that week. I was finnaly at the end of town. I walked into the forest aimlessly, hoping to find the people that had helped me.

Munk? Munk? Heh... I know exactly how you feel Wolf. One of the girls I really love, and has been a friend of mine since I was born, is moving to Las Vegas. In only a few short weeks she will move away and I will see her only once a year. It breaks my heart that I will never have a chance with her ever again. The only way that I can possibly see me getting to go out with her is if i move to Vegas, and I don't see that happening. I have a rare medical condition. If I go outside for more than an hour at time my skin loses it's paleness. It becoms an interesting bronze color. Anyway, my skin would probably blacken and fall off there. The only thing different between me and you Wolf, is that your love is coming back in a week.

When my cousin went to college I believe all she brought was a small TV and a cot. She lived on campus with one of her friends. What I would bring, however, is a computer, DVD player, a small fridge, and plenty of food. I can always bum cloths off of people. :)

OOC: Very sorry guys. I know I haven't posted in a long time ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- There was no answer at the door. I finnaly gave up and walked around to the back. With a quick plume of fire my lock was unhinged. I stepped into my house to see who was inside. It was pitch black. I lit a bright fire in the palm of my hand and walked from room to room. There was no one in the living room or the bedroom. Only one room was left. Carefully wielding my staff I stepped in front of the bathroom. Sparks flew from my staff in anicipation. I stepped toward the door, placing one hand on the knob. I flung open the door quickly and raised my staff. Something wet and black flew onto my eyes. I yelled and heard a hiss from the depths of my bathroom. The thing scuttled away leaving me to contend with my enflicted blindness. I stumled around to the sink. I washed off the black goop and opened my eyes. I still saw nothing. The only thing different was that it burned. I tried to heal my eyes with a quick spell but could not. I squezed out a tear and opened my eyes again. The pain ripped into them. I stumbled backward and hit my front door. It broke open (if only I had tried that before) and I fell into the street. I heard horses coming towards me at a high speed. I opened my eyes to look around and was again burned. I curled up into a ball and waited to be killed. ???- "Stop! There's someone in the street!" It was a womans voice. All the horses stopped and I heard a dismount. I got up on one knee cautiously. I heard the faint flapping of wings come toward me. Something brushed my face and I jerked back violently. The voice came from above my head. ???- "This guy is blind! Come here Mara. You should be able to reverse this."
Originally posted by SephirothNIN Also when you have steiner & vivi in your party, wait til both of their turns are up and you can use magic sword, does a lot of damage and is great for bosses...
Actualy I'm pretty sure that the Magic Sword only takes up Steiners turn. It does, after all, only use his MP.

The dream was the same as it always was. I was walking throught the forest again. The tall redwoods waved their braches at me from high above. I leaned against a particularly tall one and closed my eyes. A great rumble filled the air. The birds flew south from their perches on the redwoods. I looked north, toward the sound. Something was wrong. I dashed out of the forest, northbound, towards an open field. I exploded out of the brush and crained my head upward. The sky had taken on a red tint. Towards the horizon a line of black had formed over the trees. Something was nagging me in the back of my mind. This looked familiar somehow. The air suddely got heavy and hot. I dropped to one knee breathing hard, my skin turning red from the heat. I looked up, wincing at the sweat that dribbled into my eyes. The trees were smoking, their bark turning black. The first, far off on the horizon burst into flames. Another, close to it did the same. And another, and another, and another... The forest was being burned to the ground. The heat was more intence now. Most of the forest was on fire now. My robe smoldered, despite the fact that it was silver mesh. It melted and ran down my body, leaving horrible burns and ruptures. My hair lit up with a small fwoosh. I dropped to the other knee. The heat seemed to intensify. I couldn't breath anymore. All the fire was consuming the air. The last of my cloths burned away, leaving me defenceless to the roaring blaze. My skin lit on fire as if it was doused with raw oil. I opened my eyes, threw my head back and screamed into the fire ridden forest. ----------------------------------------------------------------- OOC: This used up my good writing talent for a few hours. I'll post again later tonight. Bahh... My achin' fingers.

I got a good camping story that I had heard from my mom. 1) It was the last day of my mom and a bunch of her friends camping. My mom and her friends were about 20. So, it was the last night, and they still had a bunch of wood to burn. So some geinus in the site suggests that they use white gas to lite the fire. For those of you that don't know what white gas is, it's what they used before things like bottled propane. It's a liquid propane. So they get it lit with a little white gas. Then after a while they realize that if it continues at this rate they will be up all night burning the wood. By this time they were all quite buzzed. Someone puts out the fire and builds a seven foot tall wood stack over the fire pit. They poured about five cups of the white gas under the stack. Someone makes a small fuse, with white gas. The guy lights it and they run behind trees. A second later a huge ball of fire erupts from the pit. It blew the wood outward and almost lit the trees, fifty feet up, on fire. See, I would have used gasoline or somehting.

Racine, eh? Well, ::Cracks Knuckles:: let's see if I can post some good Milwaukee info. Milwaukee was the host to the 2002 MajorLeaugeBaseball Allstar Game, which ended in an upset due to the idiot by the name of Bud Seilig. The game ended in a tie in the 11th ining. It was called off when both of the teams went though all their pitchers. Just in the past year Milwaukee opened a brand new Art Museum on the lakefront of the city. I... don't know much in-depth about that. Well, since I really can't think about much of anything else I guess I can talk about Milwaukees real claim-to-fame. Milwaukee has the best summer festival in the US. On the lakefront of the wonderful city is the Summerfest Grounds. For those of you that don't know what that is it's the biggest, loudest, sometimes hottest, Music Festival in the summer. Dozens of big-name bands flock to Summerfest to play for the people of Milwaukee and it's visitors. Well that's about it. I could find more if I had more time but, soon one of my friends is coming to collect me for a fun day of mountainbiking.

I landed on the ground a few feet from Iondarc. The flames on my robe went out and I walked over feeling dissapointed and let down. Ryan- "I saw no one. There was no one on our beach. There was no one in sight..." I sat down hard and sarched my robe for some herbs. If we could find no game we would have to eat them. I pulled out a 1/2 lbs. bag of Devil Grass. It had a horrible taste but was very nutritious, and the flavor subsided some if it was boiled. I looked over the treetops to see the sun just begin to creep below them. It would be dark soon. I grouped for my staff. It wasn't there. I rolled my eyes and scolded myself for just realizing I didn't have my staff. I lifted my hand in the air and threw some sand on it. My staff zoomed across the water shooting gigantic jets of steam into the air. It stopped about a foot in front of me and I picked it up with loving grace. I brought over a felled tree and lit it on fire. It was going to be a long night.

I was riding a normal mountain bike in responce to Queen Asukas question. And I just now realized that I phrased something wrong. It was not a dirt-bike park, it was a bike park made of dirt. You are all so lucky. I never have had the chance to go off-roading in a 4-wheeler. Being only 15 and very short on cash, I can't afford to take Drivers-Ed yet. I should go with my friend and his dad in their Jeep.

I looked at the thing for a long time. It looked similar to the original breed in many ways, but the wings. They protruded from the shoulderblades in a long narrow bone. About two feet from it's body the bone split off into fingerlike apendages, much like the bat's wings. Instead of a membrane of skin, the monster had a flexible membrane of crystal. I stooped down and prodded it with my finger. Frost creeped up my hand making me fall backwards with a cry. Darken quickly administired an Ensuna spell. My hand returned to normal. Ryan- "This one has Freeze as a defensive mechanism. All of the others had reflect... This could be bad. I had heard that the scientists at the Gold Saucer had been very close to making a weapon that could nullify the reflect field on the monsters skin. Now they may have to make a weapon for each contain magic... Possibly others too... Can you imagine what these things could do if they had transform magic, or petrify built into their skin?" I looked at the monster again. A whistling sound filled the air. Darken- "What the hell..." A barrage of meteors slammed into the Gold Saucers, speed square. The roller coaster crumbled and fell to the desert below. The portion burst into flames. Phoebie- "RUN!" Meteors impaled the pavement around us. Splinters of concrete shot into the air. We were all running through North Corel. Just as we got out one huge meteor deomlished the Gold Saucer. Everything in the vicinity of it seemed to be sucked in for a moment, then it exploded outward. The shockwave sent all of us onto our stomachs. I turned over, casting Barrier spells on all of us. The shrapnel from the gold saucer hit our little shield and bounced off. The air seemed to be on fire. It hurt to breath. The air must have been superheated from the explosion. I stood up carefully and immediately feel back to the ground. There I slipped into unconsciousness, for the second time in one hour.

I just had my first extreme off-roading experiance today. A friend and I decided to ride through a park. I stopped when I saw a path. We took off down it and, well, came to a pretty steep drop unexpectedly. We both flew down the hill narrowly avoiding trees and rocks. My heart was in my chest. My stomach was shoved up into my throat. Then we got to the bottom. The entire ride was worth it because after a short ride through another trail we came across a man-made dirt bike park! ::Shakes head to clear it:: Do any of you off-road?

I simply can't wait. The first movie was so great I think I'll read it after I'm done with the Dark Tower books by Stephen King. (Gotta love him);) -
