DANG, he can sing! when he hit that note at the end, I was just 'oooh yeah!'. Ruben sang pretty well too, but Clay stuck out. the only thing I didn't like about Clay was his expression when he sang, the whole staged look or whatever other people have said. but I'm rootin' for Clay all the way![/FONT]

[FONT=arial]I mostly only keep up with YuYu Hakusho, but now that they've started the episodes over, I doubt I'm gonna be watching Toonami anymore. plus I'll sometimes watch a little bit of either the Cosby Show or some MTV or VH1, depending on what's on. so I'd say I watch about an hour to an hour and a half's worth everyday. time spent on the computer, on the other hand, can be doubled/tripled, so I'm not that well off after all >.>'[/FONT]

Fire: the quick-tempered thing fits me pretty well, although I'm usually pretty good at keeping it in check. and when in the position to, I like to be in charge of certain events every now and again ^_^. Air: eh, not exactly carefree, but ditzy, YES. this is me in a really good mood, but that doesn't exactly mean me on crack or anything. I can actually be quite optimistic when my mind's put to it. Earth: the quote fits me almost right to the T. plus, I'm usually really quiet around people I don't know really well, and I'd like to think I have a decent dose of good common sense. Water: ....I dunno about this one. don't think I fit this one at all... Ether: this is me when I'm upset or in a really bad mood. I think it sounds pretty good (both his singing and the music). it's pretty catchy, the song's been stuck in my head for a couple of days now. as for one or two other songs I've heard (can't remember the names), they sound alright, but I'm not quite sure if I'd buy the album or not from hearing them. anyone else have an opinion on it?[/FONT]

[FONT=arial]I went to our school's honors night about a week ago and got one, yes one, award. it's this patch you put on your letterman jacket called Scholar Musician for the people who were in marching band that had honor roll during the football season. then I got my letter at the band banquet a few days later, and a bumper sticker for my nonexistant car at the drama banquet last Monday (drama department's broke). I'm pretty satisfied with what I got, considering I originally didn't think I'd get anything (I'm lucky to have an overall B right now :worried: ). maybe I'll do better if I kick more of my Type A personality up for next year. plus, I got a whole slew of helium balloons after the band banquet, so that was pretty cool. I didn't know my voice could go so high :whoops:.[/FONT]

I know you said that your girlfriend was extremely mature for her age, so why was the age gap still enough of a problem for you two to quit seeing each other? actually, society has a pretty good reason for being skeptical about older people dating younger people. like mentioned before, younger teenagers usually aren't going to be as emotionally mature as most older teenagers or young adults are (which is why the ages 14 and 20 are used, seeing as there's usually a very large gap in maturity between the two ages). like also said before, this could lead to the older person taking advantage of the younger one. as an example, if a young teenager really isn't mature enough to handle a relationship with her 25 year old boyfriend, she'd probably feel more inferior to him, seeing as he's probably had a [i]lot[/i] more experience than she has, and so would go along with whatever he wanted because she's afraid he'll break up with her. seeing as how he's an adult, seems logical that he's probably going to want an adult-ish relationship, which might include having sex. now if he goes to her wanting sex, what do you think the odds of the eager-to-please girl saying no are? I know not all age-gap relationships are like that (the pressure to have sex thing), and that there doesn't have to be that large of an age gap for one of the people involved to feel pressured to compromise him/herself anyway; but there's a bigger chance that something like that would happen between younger people with a large age difference than in a regular relationship, which is why people are usually against it. it's my guess that this is why there are statutory rape laws; because of emotionally immature teenagers who are pressured into having sex or have it because think they can handle it, when they really don't have a clue as to what they're getting into. bah, sorry if a lotta this is garbled. too many thoughts rushing out at one time and trying to get all of it to make sense sucks. :cross:[/font]

[FONT=arial]the song Crawling by Linkin Park reminds me of mirai Trunks from DBZ. I first heard the song in this awesome music video about all the crap mirai Trunks had gone through in the series, so from that point on I've always thought about Trunks every time I hear it. on a weirder note, a song called I Fell Asleep On My Arm that the Aquabats did reminds me of Akito off of Nadesico. why? simply because every time the singer yells 'I fell asleep on my aaaaaarm!' in the chorus, I can picture Akito yelling it for some reason. ahhh....good song, that ^_^.[/FONT]

[FONT=arial]eeeeeeee, I love Kare Kano. I much prefer the anime to the manga. it's so frickin' hilariously funny, I don't think I've ever laughed as much while watching an anime as I did for this one. I especially like Yukino's dad, and how he's so overprotective at first but then is disarmed by Souichiro's beeeoootiful smile :love:. thought it fit perfectly that Seki Tomokazu did his voice. Asaba's a hoot, too. got one too many screws missing in his head :cross:. as for the romance perspective, it's very sweet. from the first volume, a lot of what Yukino and Souichiro think about each other is pretty realistic. and I LOVE the ending theme song!!!!!
