I agree, we need a spell checker. I don't know how many rp posts I've seen that have like 10 or 20 mispellings and it boggles my mind. So that's all I can sugguest really.

[COLOR=darkblue][i]It is the Universal Century 0210 and it has been many years since the last real war waged between the earth and the colonies surrounding it. The last known war was started back in UC 0153 and was won thanks to the Victory Gundam and its pilot against the Zanscare Empire. Now all the previous Gundams and the Zeon mobile suits have been rebuilt etc. and are now currently on display at the ?Museum of Mobile Suit History? thankfully some of these models like the younger models of Victory gundam and a few of its predecessors are the real things. Models like the RX-78-2 Gundam are just reincarnations of the past. So far in this day and age no wars have been waged and the earth once so badly damaged from the constant outbreaks of war or skirmishes has flourished and is now back to normal. As for the colonies, the older ones have been abandoned for the newest ones that were just opened about 5 years ago. But some colonists have refused to go and have even attacked the transport ships. This was all happening within the old vicinity of Side 3 which back in UC 0079 was the main stay for the Duchy of Zeon. The leaders of this rebellion have claimed that they are descendants of the Zeon royal family and that they will not allow to be removed from the area that the colony once stood. In other words these people were looking for attention. So the rest of the Earth Sphere Unified Nation just decided to let these people have their bottle and let them stay put. Unfortunately this was a bad idea seeing as how within the next 2 weeks 5 transport ships came under attack from unknown mobile suits. The government responded by sending in investigators to the colony from where they came from, unfortunately they too were attacked and killed. So the government then responded by starting up a militia branch, all the loyal colonies (which was all of them except the aggressor) signed a contract saying that they would help in the development of an army to quash this rebellion. As the year progressed into UC 0211 4 colonies had been destroyed or taken over by the enemy, the E.S.N. was now looking at a dire threat, if these people did what they thought they would do they would drop a colony onto the Earth and they just couldn?t afford that. Not after all that the Earth had gone through to restabilze itself. It was then brought to attention to revive the Gundam building project. The E.S.N. then signed a contract with Anaheim Electronics which was now loyal to them who then decided to build at least 4 gundams. One of them was designated as the first prototype named ?Blade? Gundam, this of course was its name because it was designed for close combat and had an array hand held weapons. The second was named ?Phoenix? Gundam because of the massive wings built onto it so that it could enter the atmosphere without a ship and also because of its fire-red color scheme. The third was named ?Reaper? due to the fact that it had a stealth system but when it made it was armed like a large army, it had one sniper rifle, 3 missile silos built into its chest, and 1 beam saber. The fourth and final gundam had not been named because the scientists considered it a reject and kept it in a hanger separate from the others. It was only registered under the name ?NT-04 Gundam? meaning it had been designed for a Newtype pilot, or someone with the reflexes of one. Now after the completion of these magnificent machines the E.S.N. started scouting around looking at some of the best of the best but to no avail could they find any great adults. So the E.S.N. has swallowed its pride and has now taken to recruiting 4 teenage candidates, except the head people of the Mobile Suit division wasn?t ready for a 4th person to show up. The scientists merely explained that one of these candidates has the reflexes of a Newtype and may be able to pilot the ?NT-04? unfortunately the candidates must first undergo training, hopefully these kids can show their true abilities and maybe, just maybe the Newtype pilot will emerge from the works. But meanwhile the E.S.N is doing this the military faction has now re-named themselves ?The Elite forces of Zeon?. Obviously deluded that these people belong to the ancestors of the once infamous Zeon they have built a large Mobile Suit army and are currently plotting on taking over all the colonies on the moon so as to pose more of a threat to the Earth and the rest of the surrounding colonies. But since the Earth has taken a defensive stance all of the newer colonies have moved themselves into a defense ring around the Earth and the Moon ?Thanks to the now better navigation system.? And they have all aimed their weapons directly at this rebelling faction. The leaders have assured their men that they will not do a frontal assault but merely pick off the colonies one by one. And as the colonists flee or back off they will then set their sights on the Moon and the colonies and the riches that await them. Little do they know of the Gundams that have been built to defend the Earth once more from the dire threat of destruction.[/i] Now for this rpg I ask that you have at least a decent amount of the Universal Century Gundam sagas, if not I sugguest you take a peek at [url]http://www.mahq.net,[/url] they have some of the best data on the Universal Century timeline. Also, I ask this much of you if you are picked to be in this rpg. I only ask that you post clearly and you don't post like 5 lines of nothing and say you'll edit later and not. Sorry if I sound like a jerk but I've had this happen with a few of my rpgs. And without further ado the last line of my ranting.I will be taking up to 3 applicants for Blade, Phoenix, and Reaper gundams. NT-04 is mine. Or you may be a bad guy. Here is what I want. Name: Age: Alliance: (E.S.N. or the enemies.) General Bios: Mech description: (Sidenote to those who choose to be the enemies. Please be realistic on your mech, no mechs that are from Alternate Universes. If you want a hybrid of oh say a Tauros and a Zaku. But make it believeable.) Here is a brief description about the 3 gundams that are availible. Blade Gundam- A close range gundam that has an array of hand-to-hand combat weapons varying from steel daggers like those of the G-5 Strike Gundam, and at least 3 beam sabers. (Color Scheme is still pending.) Phoenix Gundam- A medium range gundam armed with a High Output Mega Particle Beam Cannon. It is also equipped with two beam sabers, this gundam is dubbed this because of its large wings (no not like wing zero custom's.) also dubbed Phoenix because of its fire-red color scheme. Reaper Gundam- This gundam is armed with a stealth system, missle launchers in its chest, a sinper beam rifle, and one beam saber. Color scheme looks like that of the original Deathsycthe. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Okay, here is my character. Name: Brant Landon. Age: 17 Gundam: NT-04 Gundam Alliance: E.S.N. General Bios: Brant was an ordinary Highschooler hoping that one day he?d be able to go to space and visit the colonies and learn new things. Unfortunately his dreams were squashed when he heard about the rouge colony and the other colonies surrounding the earth and moon so as to prevent the two planetary bodies from being invaded. But his dreams were renewed when a scout came to his school and took him inside an empty office and explained why he?d had his eye on Brant, he was a candidate to pilot a gundam. When Brant asked if it was like the gundams in the Mobile Suit Museum the man simply laughed and told him these were much better than those outdated models. He then handed Brant a map and a keycard with some identification tags and told him he was excused from school indefinitely if he excepted, of course Brant?s heart was thumping inside his chest so he said yes without hesitation. He was then escorted to a limo and was driven off to a large military establishment, it was Neo Anaheim Electronics and that?s when he toured the hangars and he then saw the NT-O4 gundam sitting in a hangar and when he asked if he would be piloting the NT-04 the man that had brought him here guwaffawed in laughter and said it would be amazing if any one could. After briefly passing through that hangar he was brought into a larger hangar and saw the NT-04 being hauled in with 3 other gundams. And that?s when he saw the other three pilot candidates. Mech Design: It looks a lot like this. Very much like this. It is named the NT-04 because it is based off the design of the RX-78 NT-01, CODENAME "Alexander" So here it is my gundam. [COLOR=darkblue][i]Sean sat within the cockpit of his suit, it seemed normal to him. Nothing new, well. The systems had booted up faster and Nu Gundam did seem to be moving faster but that was about it. He then realized, he wouldn't find out how well this gel pack had upgraded the systems until he entered into combat. As soon as he left the base's protected zone Sean brought the Nu Gundam's rifle up to the ready and also brought his H.U.D. and had it display the other mechs on the millitary's side. He took up a position near a small creek and just sat back and relaxed, usually when he was out on patrol it was either twighlight or the dead of night. Being out in the daytime was too much for him. It made his suit more of a target because of the color scheme. Sean had wrestled with himself about changing the blasted colors to camouflauge but he resisted the urge do to the fact that camo colors didn't suit Nu Gundam very well, the black and white colors did though. And plus, he liked attracting attention. As he was off in his own little bubble again Sean didn't notice the enemy mech closing in. It had a long sinister gun and a large sword to make this appear to be even worse looking. Sean only then noticed it when the mech fired off a shot that went past Nu Gundam's left arm and blew up a large rock face. He looked at his view screen and then realized that this was going to be a problem. He brought the beam rifle up locked on and fired a concentrated shot off that connected with the mech's arm joint. The lower right arm fell off but the mech stil tromped towards him. Sean brought the scopes up again and fired off another shot, this time for the torso of the mech. It connected but the thing was still walking and this time it fired a shot straight for Sean. He dodged out of the way and it was right then when the shot hit nothing but air and he and the gundam landed without a scratch on them did Sean realize that these gel packs were great! He snickered and said to no one in particular.[/i] "I love this new toy!" [i]He said as he holstered his beam rifle and drew out his larger beam saber from his jet pack. A larger blade shot out from the handle and a smaller one followed on the bottom. The enemy mech then drew its weapon and they both charged each other unfortunately Sean didn't expect the enemy mech to respond so well to hand-to-hand combat and had charged in with a horizontal swipe which in turn was blocked with a downward vertical swipe. And as he fired his jets back in reverse Sean switched hands for the larger saber and then drew out the smaller sword and shot forwards again and this time the enemy mech responded in the same way by blocking the larger one but ignoring the smaller sword which was then driven right into the mech's already damaged torso. The mech fell with a reassuring thud to the ground but Sean didn't trust these mechs. He sheated both his swords again and un-holstered his beam rifle and fired off a shot right into the mech which resulted in it's explosion, which didn't seem to phase the gundam at all. Sean sat in the cockpit thinking. "This is going to be a fun patrol." And with that he moved off to patrol another area.[/i][/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Gel pack, what the heck was a gel pack. Maybe it was some really cool upgrade that would boost Nu Gundam to a new level or just a new toy to play with, whichever it was Sean chuckled with glee mentally. This would be something to see. His toy or the Nu Gundam would get an upgrade which meant playtime or test runs which meant no sleep. Sean then groaned mentally, he wanted to sleep dammit! He had just come off a 12 hour patrol and he wanted some sleep! Sean bashed himself around mentally as he then came to the conclusion that he wouldn't have to worry about it and then his mind was comforted and he fell into a nice calming sleep. The next day Sean awoke in a sweat,he'd had a nightmare about coming home and seeing his home in ruins and being at the funeral of his parents. He then looked down and saw that he had twisted himself in himself into his covers like a straightjacket. After some coaxing Sean managed to climb out of his blankets and changed into some different clothes and headed for the cafeteria, as he walked down the metal corridorr his boots clanked loudly against the floor and his dog tags clinked together as well. God this was annoying with all the metallic sounds. The doors to the cafeteria slid open with a WHOOSH and Sean stepped through and picked up a tray and took a spot in line and got his breakfast, which he devoured in a few minutes. After eating Sean headed for the hangar just too see what the good doctor was up too with this gel pack.[/i][/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]The sun was shining down brightly upon a forest, a forest that was holding a secret within it. A large mech was kneeling with a large menacing rifle at the ready as if waiting for the forest to answer its bluff to make a move. Inside the cockpit a young boy sat looking at some monitors and tinkering with what appears to be the sensors. Just then an alarm blares in his ear he falls over practically from the sudden jolt from his automatic responses to some of the mech's actions. The screen brings up an enemy mech on patrol.[/i] "Just my lucky day" [i]Sean sniggers as he activates the mech. As it rises from the forest Sean brings up the targeting array and locks onto the enemy mech and fires off a shot, it connects directly to the enemy mech's leg. It stumbles but manages to stand and fire off a few rounds which connect with Nu Gundam's chest and shoulder. Sean is joslted as the right shoulder cover is blasted off.[/i] "Okay jerk! You're really ticking me off!" [i]With that Sean unsheathed a beam sword from Nu Gundam's left arm and charged the enemy mech and cleanly sliced off the legs, kicked off the mech and fired off another round destroying the mech. After the 12 hour patrol Sean piloted the Nu Gundam into the hangar and stepped out. He looked at a few of the mechanical repairmen.[/i] "It could use some repairs on the upper right arm and the chest plates." [i]He said as he casually walked off down the hall towards his quarters. Along the way he accidentally bumped into someone whom he recognized as Aorashi.[/i][/COLOR] ---------------------------------------------------------------- OOC: Sorry if I seem out of it. Heh, a mech rpg. I've been wanting to join a new rpg. Name: Sean Landon. Nic Name: N/A Age: 19 Mech: Nu Gundam (can't come up with a different name.) [img]http://www.mahq.net/gallery/gundam/official/gallery05/char014.jpg[/img] Weapons: High output beam rifle, a beam saber concealed on the left arm, and a secondary beam sword stashed on the jet pack. Bio: Sean grew up in a family with a lot of money. Unfortunately that money couldn't protect them from the mechs. One day Sean had gone out to his friends house and while he was there he heard multiple explosions from far off, off in the direction of his house. After the explosions subsided Sean returned home only to find his house half standing and his parents nowhere to be found. Later did he find out from the family butler that they had been killed but they had left a large sum of money for him, he then set out to build a mech. Unfortunately when the millitary heard of this they asked him to join. He accepted and now works alongside with a few of the other pilots as well. Description: Sean has the pretty boy air about him but really is cold hearted towards people he doesn't like, know, or trust. He has short brown hair with emerald green eyes. He is somewhat muscular.

Of course you have to have the password that you see in Shonen Jump too. Its on the first page of the magazine.

I'm sure that by either grapevine or by reading July's issue of Shonen Jump you read about the tournament that will be held in Madison Square Garden in New York. Well my question for you all is. Are any of you planning on entering??? And what are your opinions about this?

Well, due to the deadline aYokano isn't going to be able to make the mechs so I still need someone who can do that. So any one who can help with that I really appreciate it. I know you're all going to kill me for this but I'm planning on starting the sign up thread soon, maybe tomorrow or sometime next week. So if any of you have designs ready and stuff just PM them to me okay? Sorry if this is an inconvienice.

The case is for Bad Reaction To Simochi is because WWE was made while Labyrinth of Nightmare was the main stay pack and was out before LOD came out so that's the case. Umm. Exodus, lemme look at that deck a little longer and then I'll throw out a suggestion for it.

They both are good but I must say though that the lens flare caught me off guard and the font is just a little to small. But just a few tweaks here and there and it would look a lot better. The dragon banner looks great, I really like the border and font.

Okay, I've got Orien Xel doing weapon designs, Jay doing NPC and outfit desgins, and aYokano doing mech designs. But I'm going to have a few more people pitch in and help you guys if that's okay.

No, we're past the tight suits and stuff. UC 0210-0211 is like more futuristic with some touches of the past, like cars and airplanes etc. Umm I'd like solo people and maybe some several designs of millitary suits. Maybe 3 different types of suits would be okay for me to decide on. If its no trouble. Mechs....Hmmm...Currently I only need a mainstay mech. Preferably for the new enemy mechs I'd like to have a mix of a Zaku and a Tauros. If that's possible. O.o or just be creative. If you have AIM i can be more specific with the gundam specs.

Okay I guess I got in to the excitement too much that I forgot to mention this is in the UC timeline so some of the mechs I'll want would have to have some Zeon roots. But besides that fact its all good. Heck I'll take hybrids of Mobile Suits from the Alternate Universe and have them be enemy and good guy suits as well.

I'm currently working on a gundam rpg and its featuring 4 gundams right now and I'm wondering if I could get a few people who could help with Gundam drawings along with some of the enemy mobile suit designs. Along with those I was wondering if anyone could do NPC character designs, I'm sure you're wondering why I want those, well so as to give more of a feel for this rpg. I'll tell you what I need. via PM, AIM, or YIM. I hope once I finish some tweaking I'll have the recruitment thread up and going. Thanks for anyones help.

[spoiler]Ooooh I hated that Umbridge woman to the bitter end. I'm glad Peeves tortured her after the Weasly Twins left Hogwarts. But I'm so mad that Sirius was killed!!!!!!! I mean couldn't have Rowling picked another character?!?!?!?!?! I have half a mind to send a letter to Rowling telling her that was the most stupid thing she could ever do! Sirius was my favorite character!!!!!![/spoiler] Okay now that I'm done ranting I give this book a 9 out of 10 simply because of what happens near the end.

Umm well I never partook in the first rpg but I know that you weren't allowing gundams in that one, will you be allowing gundams in this one??

Oops, I'll have to go catch a new Nincada then because I evolved it today. I'm going to try and level up my team because I'm just getting whooped by Norman. I know, I'm pitiful, its just all these abilities and stuff are soo new to me. I'm too used to the old games like Silver/Crystal/Gold.

Oh I've made plenty of mistakes. Like I'll have down a strong monster and my opponent will play Raigeki and I'll have Imperial Order and I comepletly forget to even activate it. I've got plenty of other mistakes but I forget them right now.
