Apparently not alot of you know how many times we've bombed Afganistan....

Oh yes.... we've bombed them before.... lots of time... in fact one time we almost got Bin Laden.... off by an hour.... SO MANY secret missions go on to kill that man.... we've missled The taliban many times before.... ofcourse you never hear about it cause it's not for the media or anyone to know.... we have spies in Afganistan just like they have spies here...

Did you know the WTC had been planned to be taken out 3 different times, the third being the one that succeeded?... The first one was that bomb that went off underneath it back in 93? i think.... the second, NO ONE heard about... not one of you... the FBI and CIA got a tip that there were people attempting a terrorist attack... so they went into this appartment... they found blu eprints of the WTC and blue prints of the surrounding area and enough explosives to blow up 3 or 4 city blocks.... in NYC!.... So much secret stuff goes on....

Anyway, I agree with James aqnd Seph... We are not carrying out revenge.... we are carrying out a mission to give Taliban another chance at giving up Bin Laden.... It's either that or more of those "flying this that blow up".... The taliban really has little to do with the Terrorist attacks, we are just going to proove our point that we make no distiction between terrorist and those who harbor them... in case they didn't understand the simple english....

BTW, I'm sure you can add Japan to that list of allies.... and a few others....

The only country I'm even skeptical of "betraying", which technically they wouldn't cause they aren't in Nato and they aren't really our friend.... would be China... but I don't think theyd try anything... they are too smart to want war.... no one with the intelligence of mustard would want war with anyone... war prooves no point and is just stupid.... but sadly sometimes, it's needed...

And we are helping any refugees tat come out of Afganistan..... the troops in Uzbekastan (sp?) which is bordered to the north of Afganistan, are taking in any Muslim refugees.

transtic, where do you get this sort of information? like what you just posted, or that thing about seti receiving a transmission. i didn't even know that, & i follow seti's research. i mean, how do you know what goes on in the secret government?
Well the WTC stuff came from my current government teacher who was a lawyer in NYC back then.... this was in the NY Times but it was so little no one read about it... she did... and she has many contacts in the police department and whatnot

The SETI stuff I actually got from some recording that was then added to a song. The song was called "Open Your Mind" by Yahel... it's said in the middle of the song. I dunno if it's tue, I was just quoting the song because it was a cool quote. And kind of does "Open your mind" so to speak :)

Also I got alot of info from my US History teacher in 11th grade... he knew ALOT. ALl he did was read books and stuff about all sorts of cool stuff... in fact we had a few weeks where we'd just sit and talk about this "secret man" and we learned all about his past and his days in the CIA and FBI and his involvment to try to assinate Castro and his boyhood and everything... the secret man ended up being Lee Harvey Oswold....

As for the other bombing attempts on Afganistan and Osama Bin Laden, you can ask anyone involved in the Clinton administration and they'll tell you that there wasn't a day that went by that that subject was not dicussed.... Bin Laden has been a target of assasination for a VERY long time... much like Castro was and probably still is....

there's just tons of stuff my teachers tell me, that I hear on talk radio, and that i read that I keep in my mind... it all intrest me

No, it has NEVER been proven he is behind this.... in fact they think he was not alone... Sadam Husane (sp?) is also a probable suspect in supplying money and intelligence to the attack. However it's also suspected Bin Laden was the "mastermind" of it all.... but nothing has been proven, just suspected...

They found money exchanges not to long ago that are leading back to the middle east... they don't know exactly where yet, but they suspect it will go right to Bin Laden... Also the money exchange does have charactoristics of old Bin laden tactics of money exchanging.... whatever that is.... so it's just a suspition

I don't personally think Osama bin Laden did it,...
I mean,..as far as I heard, he's admitted every act of 'felony' he's ever commited, except for this one,...and even now, as his followers and his host country is being bombed, he still denies any and all accusations of being linked to this crime.
He says he doesn't know who did it, but he can sure as hell guess why...
And why is everyone here being so picky and evil against the Taliban? What have they done wrong? All they've asked for is proof from America linking Osama to the WTC attack. And Ameica reallyhave done it this time. They say they have proof, but they don't show this proof. They want the Taliban to hand over their guest for trial without no proof,...do you see my POV?

Yes.....I see it very clearly. If we have proof that DIRECTLY links Laden to the terrorist acts......denouncing him the "Leader" and having sole responsiblity......I wish we would hand it over, already....Wtf are we waiting for? Could it be that we have no proof.......Maaaaaaybe.....:rolleyes:

I hate it. I hate it all.
Can't even go to school without a face staring at me like I'm a ghost.
Heh,..ppl are sometimes sooooo racist...especially the older ppl (does that make me ageist?)
Everyday, when I go school, on the way, I pass a few houses. And at that time, an old lady steps out to collect her milk...and whever she sees me, she tuts and nods her head negatively. At first, she'd be frightened of us, and gasp and stare shockingly, then she'd try and not be seen,..but I guess her fears have gone,...but the 'thing' is still there...
I so hate her..

aww, AJ, i'm so sorry...

*gives AJ a kiss*

it sounds like you're going through some serious sh*t. just remember that when you return hate for hate, you are sinking to their level. i know it's hard not to feel that way (believe me, i know). i still struggle w/ it alot, myself. these words really helped me:

"Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law.
Love is the law, love under will.
There is no law above do what thou wilt."

if everyone would follow this, there would be no problems. think about what it really means, everybody, & you'll understand.

1) He did do it. The US does have proof, if they didn't have significant proof linking Bin Laden to the WTC crashes, why would the allies join?

2) Bin Laden did it. Today on ABC News, they played a pre-recorded tape the Al-Queda delivered to a Middle Eastern television station. It shows Bin Laden responding to the US attacks saying the US people will not live in peace, until the Palestinians have peace. But this was pre-recoreded before today's attacks. Therefore stating, he was anticipating an attack, some kind of response. Guess what, he caused the response(the US attack) to happen. Plus he talks about Israeli tanks in Palestine. They aren't there now, they were there even before the attacks on the WTC, which means he planned the attack for a long time, expecting a devestating response from the US.

3) Everyone is picky against the Taliban, why? You can't possibly tell me the Afghan people are in a state of demise. There is pre-famine to famine situations in Afghanistan everywhere. The ONLY Afghan people receiving help and food supplies that the UN is trying to desperately get in are the areas controlled by the Northern Alliance. The Taliban don't let women work, much less show there faces, how are widow's supposed to feed there families starving to death? The Taliban aren't letting humanitarian workers in to help the people they are starving to death. Why are there SO MANY refugees coming out of Afghanistan? Why? Because the Taliban have utterly annihilated the economy and well-being of there people.

4) Look at the Taliban's point of view from this. They are holding a mass-murderer in there clutches. They funded and supported a person who killed 7000 people. Whether or not he master minded the WTC crashes, he still has to be brought to justice for the many other crimes he has committed before. I am not a Muslim, BUT I know the Koran, was brought up by a peaceful prophet named Mohammed, and the Koran details of prophets of God, which are relatively similar to the Old Testament of the Bible. I know about part of Muslim history, basically their struggles vs. the Byzantines in early AD history, the Crusades against European forces in early times, and the fact the the Koran clearly states w/o denial "To not kill other ppl". Islam is a peaceful religion, and anyone who kills 7000 people in the name of Islam, is violating the Koran in its own words. Anyway, I learned that from my 11th Grade World history teacher.

In this situation I truly feel for the Afghani people...under Taliban rule .The Taliban are a DISGUSTING group of people who defame all the ideals and philosophies of Mohammed and the Ku'ran. I am Catholic and I love and respect all religions...but when zealots come forth and proclaim that what they do is correct by hurting the innocent it infuriates me..

No matter what religion you follow, there is a basic moral code you have to follow, even if you are an atheist you know you just can't walk up to a person and kill em for no apparent reason.

War is proclaimed to be justified in self defense, and in most religious doctorates I have read..war was done to defend the honor and quality of life of that particular civilization...

Jihad is only to be declared if the fundamentals and integrity of Islam is threatened, no one has threatened Islam...so on part of the Taliban and Bin Laden...they are doing blasphemy in the eyes of Allah and will not walk forth into paradise as they believe they will do so.

I do not want war either, but if my land or my family are threatened...I will defend them at any cost as I am sure any of you would do also.....Stay safe and take care....God Bless...

That's what I'd like to know.... LOL....sure, if we had proof....don't you think we would've forked it over to the Taliban by now(since they've been asking for it, for a while)?

Okay, two things here. Firstly, you're missing the point and secondly, the Taliban have sucked you in. :)

Osama bin Laden's involvement has been proven. The USA has passed a series of documents around to its allies (and others) which has undoubtedly linked him to the attacks on September 11th. Tony Blair said he saw the information and accepted it with no hesitation, Vladimir Putin has done the same...as has other world leaders.

This information was always open to the Taliban ministry -- but the Taliban never came forward to claim it. The fact that they were saying "hand it to us!" and "it's not fair! We have to see that he's guilty!" is merely a tactic to delay military action against them.

The Taliban is being fairly targeted for two reasons -- firstly, they are an oppressive and violent regime -- if an Afghan woman goes outside in the street WITHOUT a male escorting her, she is at risk of being arrested or shot. I saw a terrible image on CNN of a Taliban officer holding a machine gun to a woman's head...all because she was out gathering food for her starving children...and all because she had no male escort.

You're telling me that this evil regime deserves "fair" treatment?

They've been given due warning. And they haven't followed demands as per the allies' request. Thus, they must suffer the consequences.

In addition, there is evidence which links the Taliban directly to the Al-Qaida organization (run by Osama bin Laden). Tony Blair said in an interview that the US document on Al-Qaida actually proves that the Taliban is directly (or at least partially) involved in the group's activities.

So basically, we know that Osama bin Laden is involved and we know that the Taliban deserves everything it gets as of this moment. The people of Afghanistan have been living under this violent regime since the mid-1990's. Why should they suffer any longer?

In my opinion, we need to rid Afghanistan of the Taliban regime AND at the same time, find and arrest/destroy Osama bin Laden and his training camps. If we don't do this now...it'll be too late.

yeah, i see what you're saying. why would we be dropping these "rescue" packages unless we'd bombed innocent civilians? think about it. we could've helped them a long time ago. we just didn't have a real excuse until now.

i heard something funny on the radio today. they said that, instead of killing ben laden (sp?) we should kidnap him & force him to undergo a sex change operation. then we'd drop him back off in his own place. finally, he'd get a taste of his own medicine, being a woman & all... not right, but maybe he'd see things from a different perspective.
