Stupidest Movie You've Ever Seen?

So yesterday I wasted two hours of my life on You Don't Mess With the Zohan. I swear, that's the stupidest movie I've ever seen in my life...luckily it was only a dollar.

Today I was wondering, what's the stupidest movie you have ever seen? And how much money did it cost?:catgirl:

In my opinion, the most stupid movie was Napoleon Dynamite - $2 (rent). I decided then to never trust reviews or critics ever again. People today enjoy stupidity on a whole new level ever since ND emerged. There are some things remotely related to stupidity that I enjoy but this is the kind I don't find entertaining--that, and movies that need heavy nudity, sex, swearing, and booze to make it entertaining. I just find it incredibly stupid.

Hmm... Really stupid movies...

... the remake of Friday the 13th... I Am Legend. It's just dumb entertainment, that doesn't take any thought process to get into.. I guess that's why so many people enjoy this kind of stuff? Not sure. Many people would argue over IAL, but that's just my opinion.

The Strangers.

My girlfriend rented it - the rule is now that she NEVER, EVER picks a movie again. She was terrified of it but it was the most boring, cliched horror I'd ever seen. Seriously lol. Is it meant to be scarier because it's based on a real stories? So isn't...

Thankfully it was her money she wasted and not mine.

Is it sad that I've found enjoyment in all of the movies mentioned so far?

I'm pretty good about picking one aspect of a movie that I like and sticking with it. The Friday the 13th remake, Jared Padeleki (butchered the spelling) stars in one of my favorite television series' so there was reason for it.

And there are countless other movies I like for reasons even more trivial then that, so it takes a lot for me just not to like a movie.

As far as the stupidest movies I've ever seen are probably mostly movies nobody has ever heard of since they're IFC movies. But I didn't care for Anchorman and I'm a big Will Ferral (I just suck at peoples last names) fan, so for me not to like it was a BIG deal.

Already did this before, but this movie applies to any category not in the 'good section'.

Michael Bay's Transformers.

What the hell was that crap? Seriously. As a fan of Transformer goodness the movie was garbage. All of it. I liked not a single piece of that film. First off you got Jazz, the obvious 'black' Transformer from the G1 series acting like a damn fool.

"Sup, lil' *******. This looks like a cool place to kick it!"

Huh?

Then in the middle you have daddy Prime.

"No, Ironhide! You know we don't hurt humans! Whats' with you?!"

Then he goes ahead and says; "Oops, my bad" after stepping on some dumb lawn piece.

The humans with some grenade launched SABOT rounds were the ones to defeat most of the Decepticons in the latter half of the movie while the Autobots got pummeled. Stupid. And even when bot-on-bot action came on screen you couldn't see anything and didn't know what the hell was going on.

What the hell happened to Barricade? He just decide to leave?

Then, obviously, their look was outrageous. Looked like utter crap. You got Starscream looking like, what, a silver..machine..man? No red, no blue. The only reason you knew it was Starscream was because Michael Bay was balls deep in marketing his creations. I hate you Michael Bay.

Stupidest movie ever made. Hands down. Period. Don't try and justify it. It was garbage and that little list is just the TIP of the iceberg but I'm too heated to continue. Screw the sequel.

I've seen lots of movies in my life. Many of which were really stupid.
Here's the top five stupidest movies I've ever seen:

"Jaws The Revenge"
What a load of crap this one was. The producers beat this dead horse to death. The shark was hardly in the movie. And when it was, it wasn't really scary in any way.
The shark even goes "RAAAAARRHH!' in one part. What?
Not even Michael Caine could save this movie, and he's Michael Caine.
Near the end of the movie, Caine falls off a boat, and when he gets pulled aboard, his clothes are magically dry.
That must be some kind of magic clothes.

"Batman and Robin"
Moving on....

"Hulk"
Not enough action, it was kind of dull, there wasn't much to like about it. At least the new one was good.

"Scary Movie 3"
They try WAY to hard to funny in this movie. It's just throwing everything they can think of at you at break-neck speed. Instead of trying to enjoyable like the "Naked Gun" movies or "Airplane!" They just consider everyone in the audience had seen the movies they are parodying, and just over do it.

"Employee of the month"
I was forced to see this movie. For a school assignment on "improper actions in the workplace." What? Are you kidding me?
It was horrendous from start to finish.
Did you think a movie with Andy Dick, Jessica "chicken of the sea" Simpson, and Dane Cook would be entertaining? I didn't laugh at all, and NO ONE could act in this. That goes double for Jessica. She's TERRIBLE.
Dane Cook happens to be a friend of a friend of mine, I might add.
Dane's from Boston, and we New Englanders got to stick together, right?
Well, Dane, you know I love you man, but no more acting. Stand-up. That's it. Stand-up. Jessica? Please GO AWAY. All you got going for yourself is your looks.
Don't see this movie. It's bad for your health.

Personally, I thought Anchorman was hilarious. Of course, the whole point of half the jokes was that they were so out there that they were banking on you just cracking up at the randomness. I guess it was pretty hit-and-miss, really.

As for the worst movie I've ever seen, Surviving Christmas. I was drawn in by the trailer. Tuns out it's another one of those movies where the trailer is comprised of all the funny parts and everything else is trash. And don't even get me started on the cheesy narm-loaded porn Aesop. They didn't even give any indication that porn factored into the movie in the trailer, let alone it being basically the entire plot. And the big message at the end was pretty much null and voided by the fact that the writers took every opportunity they could to hyuk up the objectification of women and make porn look funny. Then they turn around and tell us what a terrible blight on humanity it is. Listen, Hollywood. Take a stance, stick with it. It will make you look slightly less useless.

Like anime and games, I tend to stay away from movies I know I'm not going to like, let alone the genre. And I haven't seen too many movies because of my lack of interests in movies that's been coming out within the past 5-6 years. (That's a lot of movies I haven't seen.

However, I got stupid and curious at one time and decided to check out Superbad. I absolutely hate stupid funny. I find nothing comical when people do idiotic things. If anything, it just pisses me off about people being idiotic. Mind you, this is the only movie with this style of comedy that I've seen, but I have a general idea of what the others are like. (Stuff like American Pie, Clerks, Napolean Dynamite and Borat...) And with more movies like this coming out yearly, I'm beginning to lose interest in comedy as a whole.

All of the Santa Clause movies. They were so ridiculous and had the stupidous comedy in it. I just couldn't stand the first one, then they brought out 2 more!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! It makes me want to shoot up the elf's work shop!

I've posted this before, I swear.

I hate(despise) all Will Farrell movies. I don't think hes even remotely funny. I went to see Elf with my mom and brother in theaters when it came out, for my mom's birthday. It was a complete waste of life, and money. We all hated it, lol.

There arn't many recent comedies that I like. I like the stuff from the 80s - 90s, and even older. The kind comedy they spew out now is almost always layed with stupid humor, f this f that, and loaded with sexual content that I could do without.

I'm sorry, but both live action Street fighter movies to be stupid(one of them spawned a terrible mortal kombat rip off). And speaking of those, the live action dragon ball z and death note movies are stupid too...

Oh. and let's not forget all Ring and grudge movies. The english ones were funny. Not scary. Gah.

I'm adding Wanted to my list. Even James McAvoy couldn't save it. The first time I watched it, I was entertained, but the more I think about it the more it pisses me off. A magical loom? That dumbass last line? Ew.

I do partly agree that a lot of Will Ferrel movies are stupid. I have recently attempted to sit through Step Brothers.....it was just full of cussing and sexual stuff. I couldn't finish the whole thing. As for Step Up 2: The Streets, it was okay. The only thing that really interested me was the breakdancing/krumping and all the good dancing was at the end. :animedepr

I liked the first Step up, in fact I went out and Bought it on DvD. The second, however, came out during a time that it seemed that a hundred dance movies came out at the same time.

It's sort've the same thing that's happening to the cheerleading movies, air bud, and other movies. It seems that hollyweird gets on a kick and just pumps money into competing for the best movie of a certain genre.

I did like step up 2, but if I would've said that at first my point would've been moot.

I just want hip hop dance movies to go back to real hip hop dance and not pop coureography and super-lame story lines.

I will admit though, that skinny jew-fro kid could pop.

Yes....I do agree with that. I must admit, when you really think about it the story lines do suck. For example, with Transformers. The machines were awesome but the story line wasn't good.

Lol. Yes he had skills. :animesmil

I would so be one of those who argue with I Am Legend. That movie had so much behind it and represented a lot of solitude, remorse, and companionship. I was crying every other scene, I swear. I would agree though that the chosen ending could have been better.

Anyway, not too much into that. I'm not a big movie watcher. I actually hardly ever watch movies but I've seen a few horrible ones.

Catwoman.
Had nothing to do with the real story of Catwoman. Was based on nothing. Cats don't run along walls. Smart director who made plenty of money by putting Halle Berry in spandex which is the only reason I even watched it more than once.

Clerks 2.
Bad representation of a fast food restaurant. No storyline. Made me refuse to look at a donkey for over a month.

Wanted.
The story was slow and slow and slow and then rushed through the last twenty minutes. Made little to no sense. Was kinda weird.

Some Steve Harvey Stand Up I Don't Remember The Name Of.
He's just not funny at all. And the fact that I watched the entire thing with him having a shaved head just made it awkward.

Have to agree with Nomurah!'s picking I am Legend anyone with even a vague knowledge of biology and chemistry better be prepared to have their intelligence insulted right from the offset by so many factors of this movie, in fact rather than going off and outlining them I'm going to just get the five page article that does already did it. I am Legend Junk Science

Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow gets a nod from me as well, I probably should've realised going inside that a 1940s take on sci-fi was going to have a crap plot but Lord in Heaven the first words out of my mouth after that movie were that I wanted those two hours of my life back.

Magical loom through which a highly secretive group of assassins keeps order in the world ? And then can change the trajectory of a bullet as it flies ? Really ?! You thought these was a good plot ideas Mr Script-Writer ? How stoned were you when you wrote this trash ? Yeah, Wanted was a bad joke of a movie there's nothing even slightly redeemable about it, do not if you value your time bother to see this movie.

the worst movie I have ever seen would have to be The Titanic. The whole concept of the movie was so dumb. I hate movies like that play on a real disaster but try to make it into a love story. i thought the Titanic would of been like a guy and girl film but it is a total chick flick!

I dont care about Leonardo Dicaprio and his latest hot young thing. And it made alot of people in that movie look bad....shoot. Now come on the ship is flooding up to your chest and you are onb the elavator to get to safety and this is talking about waiting. Shoot FORGET THAT!!!! I would of left just like that guy did. I'll admit...leaving those people in the water to freeze was messed up. I totally was just looking forward to the sinking of the ship....I know it sounds harsh but I wanted to see how they portrayed the actual sinking of the largest ship ever!

If you would have read the badass comic you would've been even more dissapointed as it had almost zero to do with it. Fox was supposed to be a Halle Berry looking black-lady, Gordon Freeman was supposed to be a short, bald, white super-scientist, and the assassins were supposed to be self-indulgent and merciless super-villains who had zero care about justification of their actions.

The movie had nothing to do with it. But I will say this. That whole scene where he ran through the factory owning faces was pretty great.

BTW- I missed you Gav.

Humaru- all I have to say to you is this.... "Boats and ho's".
