[b][size=1] I made myself a banner from the cover art of Kingdom Hearts. I tried to make it as similar to the original picture as possible. But I couldn't just crop out a rectangle 500x100 pixels, because the original [URL=http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B000066TS5.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg]picture[/URL] has Riku a step down below Sora, so I had to move him up. Which meant I had to remove Goofy's hat; edit the marks on the moon; re-do a part of the moon on the right; and make up part of Riku's sword (which was covered up by Sora's shorts). So yeah, lots of fine detailing done (although some bits are obvious -.-), for something that looks like a simple crop job.[/b] *wonders if it was worth it all* >.> EDIT 1 & 2: There was a line of blue at the top of the moon which I just fixed now.. *adds border too now*[/size]

He was nearing the southern face of the 'white hand', and he knew there would be more watchers as he got closer. And they would grow in numbers and ferocity with each encounter. And Sylkis walked on. One of the birds screeched a command, and broke the circle formation, speeding a line towards the unsuspecting dark mage. The child came to a halt, dropping his head. He raised his staff at the line of birds, incoherently muttering unholy incantations and curses. And the birds stopped where they flew in the air, suspended momentarily from invisible strings. And then the mage continued his journey towards the perilous mountains of Istg?, making sure not to step on the rotting corpses of the dead birds in his path...[b] ------------- Selkis.. [b][size=1] OK. I just changed it a little more, taking in what Semjaza said. I made the blacks into greys, so that there isn't too much of an eye-straining contrast. So basically all the white text is on a grey background, and even then all white text is kept at a minimum. So yeah. I think I'll keep it as a light grey on dark grey thing, so there is some contrasting, but not eye-bleeding heavily done. Here's the second design.[/b] *edits first design slightly as well, so that it isn't as contrasted too* EDIT: I basically opened my sites in IE and printed screen and cropped it to size, and saved as a JPEG. So that's why it's kinda messed up near some of the text. And that's also why it may seem a little big for 800x600 users.[/size]

[b][size=1] Basically, as soon as our exams are over, my friends and I are planning on creating a gaming+anime .com website. It being the night before the exams begin, I can't sleep, so I've gotten to work. This is my first site design idea, and basically I just messed quite a lot around with my blog template. Personally I'm quite pleased with this, but I know that the white/grey/black/burgundy colour theme has been overused, abused, and milked silly to the extent that it's bleeding. But yeah.. C/C/R please. We don't want a second-hand site, so I need to know how to patch up and make a real neat layout that everyone would like (and hopefully also be different).
