so does tsakusa return to the real world because he got the key of the twighlight (aura) or because helba deleted the field? or both... did Sora turn into a monster robot? is morganna still in "the world"
1) Aura had nothing to do with Tsukasa waking up in real life. That happened because Tsukasa decided to leave The World and return to reality. As a result of wanting to return Tsukasa had the ability to log out, and Aura was born at the same time. Also, Helba's intervention had nothing to do with anything. 2) No, Sora is not a robot. The creature that appeared in his spot was Skeith "The Terror Of Death" (who is the first of the 8 Phases). Sora's conciouness was trapped in Skeith's wand after he was Data Drained. 3) Yes, she is. Her program was built into the original coding for the game. This is proven in the series of PS2 games that follow the TV show after six months.

Hoichi heard the sound of cracking ribs as his punch connected with the demon's chest. Trying to keep the creature off guard for as long as possible Hoichi followed the hit with a kick to the the front legs. As the beast fell Hoichi backed off and took aim. The ground was splattered with red as the .50-caliber bullet, fired from the gun that he had refused to let go of ealier, shattered the beast's skull, and everything behind it. There was no time for Hoichi to rest as another demon smashed him with its horns. Hoichi flew through the arm, and slid at least ten feet before stopping. Slowly he found his way back up onto his knees and tried to shake the pain off. Good thing my helmet was on. I would be dead for sure if not for... Wait a second, why is everything so dark suddenly? Hoichi's thought was interrupted as the same beast charged him from behind. However, it was in for a major surprise. Almost as if on instinct Hoichi dove to the side as the beast passed through the area he was in. Without hesitation he rasied his gun and fired, and was met with the satisfying sound of a bellow, and a loud thump. Still without vision Hoichi tried to stand, only to fall. He found the fall to be shorter and softer then he had expected, though. "You all right?" He heard Haruka ask. "Yeah, save for the fact that my vision is out. At least most of it." There was a pause before any reply was heard. "Are you trying to tell me you just killed that thing without looking? How in the hell could you have done that." "I don't know. I just aimed and fired. Somehow I knew where that thing was." Hoichi stood back up as his vision finally found its way back. He retracted his helmet, and looked at the beast he had shot, wondering how he had managed it.

OOC: I'll give a cookie to anyone that can figure out why my character has nickname Gun. ;) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Unlike the others Hoichi did not awaken in the strange land. Instead he appeared in a small flash of light, while in the middle of throwing a punch. The punch completed its forward movement and slammed head-long into a tree. A light thud and the sound of Hoichi cursing from behind his helmet soon followed. "Helmet down," Hoichi said in a voice that did nothing to hide his anger. In responce to his statement the helmet disappeared, a result of the nanotechnology used for his "Gun Suit." "Ohh. I bet that hurt," a voice said from his left. Hoichi quickly spun anound, pointed his hand at the first person he saw and said "Gun Set." From a storage pack his back a gun appeared and followed a track on his arm until it stopped in his hand. "Who are you? Are you working for the 'Faldies (short for Riofaldians)?" These questions were asked in a tone that told everyone there how serious he was. "There are no Riofaldians here," one of then said while walking over. He stopped when he found himself at gunpoint. "You have no need for that here. Everyone else is just as confused as you. By the way, I am Leonx." Hoichi kept his gun in hand, but lowered it. "The name's Hoichi Kano, but most people just call me Gun." The others in the group replied in turn with their own names before Leonx lead them off to find "others."

This one sounds like fun. And I have just the character too. Name: Hoichi "Gun" Kano Where from: Comic Book Skills: Shooting, fist fights, pissing people off Fighting Styles: Streetbrawling Description: http://www.darkhorse.com/profile/profile.php?sku=11-853 (click on pic to the left for bigger image) Description in Cesto's World: http://www.darkhorse.com/profile/profile.php?sku=11-190 Small Bio: Average high-school punk who enjoys ditching classes and cussing out the Riofaldians (alien race living with humans). After decades of peace with the Riofaldians he becomes the planet's last, and only, defense against an invasion planned by the Riofaldian gov't. To assist in this fight he is given a "Gun Suit" (2nd pic) that provides him with extra speed, strenght, and a pair of seriously bad@$$ guns. Favourite Quote: "Bite me, 8-ball" (said while kicking the machine from the 2nd pic) Personality: Think of Yusuke from Yu-Yu Hakusho. Generally a real bad@$$, but becomes slightly more docile when the girl he loves is around. Doesn't back down from a fight, though he does try to avoid harming innocent people.

Favorite death scene? That is an easy one. I would vote for the death scene from Mechwarrior 2: Mercenaries when your mech gets destroyed. You see the burning husk of the mech through the eyes of your character, who is trying to crawl away, when a large, mech foot lands next to you. You see a pair of gun barrels swing into view, then is ends in a bright red flash. That scene was amusing the second time around.

Manga What new manga/manwha are you reading now?
Zephyr replied to Monkey_Orange's topic in Otaku Central
Let's see if I can remember all of these titles: --Gundam Wing (all three) --Gundam Wing: Battlefield of Pacifists --Mobile Suit Gundam: Blue Destiny --.Hack//Legend of The Twilight (wish TokyoPop would tell me when the third one is due out) --X-Day That is all I remember for now, though I think that is all I have. As for my opinions on them, here goes. The three Gundams are nice, and Blue Destiny is a must read for any Gundam fan (IMO). THe .Hack books are great since they go more towards humor then the deep plots in the TV series and games (though I do love the deep plots). X-Day is a bit unusal for me, since its style is differs greatly from what I normally purchase. However, I would suggest it many people (age 13+) because of the way it looks at society and school's effect on high school students (namely the "outcasts"). -
OOC: Queen Asuka was supposed to be the other Earth elemental. ---------------------------------------------------------------- A small cloud of dust was the only sign of Hoichi's landing outside of the town. The small of fires and blood were the first to greet him as he ran. Those smells were followed by the sight of numerous people laying motionless along the road. What had been a busy line of vendor stands in the town square was nothing more then a pile of burning debris. The ground rumbled for a moment as Hoichi struggled to control the anger he felt over the devestation. From a distant section of town a scream could be heard. Hoichi followed the scream back to its origin, a young woman being chased by three masked figures with swords. The young woman fell, and nearly became their next victim, until a cage of metal sprang up around each of them. The woman trembled in fear and shock over everything that had happened. Hoichi approached the three "rats" that he had managed to cage, a fire of hatred burned in his eyes. "I hate cowards that gang up on innocent people. Especially ones that kill women and children." Hoichi reached into the nearest cage and grabbed the firure inside. He pulled the mand right up to the sharp, almost sword-like bars of the cage. "How many of you are there? And who sent you to slaughter this town?" The man remained silent. "Answer me, or I will show you what it is like to be on the recieving end of a blade through the heart." To reinforce his point Hoichi removed his dagger from the sheath hidden in his jacket and held it up for the man to see. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wow! My character is pissed off. Wonder what he'll do next. *Evil grin*

OOC: College tests making head hurt. Rational thought fading. Insanity welling up behind eyes. Mental stability shaky. Must talk like this. :p ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hoichi's fall was cut short by a section of ground rising up to meet him fifty feet from the ground. Regardless of the shortened fall, it still hurt landing on solid ground. After blacking out for a second Hoichi stood up and wiped the dirt from his face. He looked around and noticed that the others were a short distance away. As he approached Hoichi could see that Sakin and Fuji-Iro were both unconscious, and the others appeared to be arguing about something. "What is happening?" He asked, his voice level and emotionless. "Our village is under attack," Kaisui shouted, "and they refuse to return and help." "It is too dangerous," Kantron replied. "What is our other option? Or, do we even have one?" Hoichi inquired. Kayin offered his opinion to this one. "The only other one I see is killing the one that sent the attackers." "Why not do both?" Hoichi asked. "I can return to the village to try and slow down the people attacking it. Earth elementals are better suited for defence anyway. I can buy some time for the rest of you."

I started playing about three months ago. I still am only average in skill, but since I play against others that have had years to play I am learning faster. At the very least I have created decks that can last awhile, and in a few cases have even beaten my opponents. Here is my nastiest strategy for a deck: Blue deck with Raven Guild Masters and Brain Freezes. Nothing better then forcing your opponent to dicard their entire library in only a few turns. The counterspell specialty of Blue decks is fun too. Kill 'em before they can be played.

I am looking for a banner which contains the following: 1) Picture of Spike, Faye, and Electra from the cover of the Cowboy Bebop movie 2) Pic of Ryoko (Tenchi Muyo/Universe) with her holding her energy sword 3) Pic of Inuyasha in his transformed "full demon" state, or one with the full power Tetsusaiga (which ever is easier to get into the banner) 4) A dark background 5) The words "Time For A Relaxing Beatdown" in the upper-left, or lower-right corner why does it seem like all my banner requests are being ignored lately? *sigh*

Blasted ISP is on the fritz again. Hope it holds long enough for me to post this. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Ripples from a stray leaf broke the calm waters of the pond that Hoichi was sitting at. The slight disturbance went unnoticed over the torrent in Hoichi's mind. Why would there be so many Elementals in one place? I hope that everything remains calm, and that this omen is simply that and nothing more. An endless supply of questions, hopes, and worries passed through Hoichi's mind. The thought that bugged him the most was the feeling of having been in a similar situation once before. Hoichi was snapped out of his thoughts by another set of ripples. This time the ripples were nowhere near the water, but from the ground beneath him. The feeling was coming from behind Hoichi, in a nearby stand of trees. Someone, or something, was sneaking up behind him. Slowly and carefully, Hoichi picked his daikyu up from the ground and aimed his arrow at the trees. A small shadow appeared in the brush, and in his surprise Hoichi nearly shot the stray dog that walked out. Hoichi returned his daikyu to where it originally rested. I am getting too jumpy. Guess I should stop worrying about everything that is going on before I do shoot someone. With that, Hoichi stood up and walked away from the pond.
-
Hoichi backed off and held his hands up next to his torso to show he was unarmed, save for the daikyu over his shoulder, as Sakin and Kantron drew their swords. "Why are you sneaking around out here? What do you want?" Sakin spoke in harsh tones. With her holding a sword to his face, Hoichi had little choice but to answer her. Of course, he could just use his powers, but then he would lose his chance to speak with the knight. "I was not sneaking around," Hoichi stated. "I was looking for someone and happened to stumble upon the two of you." "Why would you be looking in this area anyway. The only ones around here are knights." Sakin said, her face locked in an emotionless mask. "That is the exact reason wny I am here. I figured that a knight would have the best chance of knowing---" Hoichi was cut off by the sudden appearance of Kaisui. Her appearance did not surprise him nearly as much as the orb in her hands, however. Another...with powers? I thought I was the only one. Could that mean... Hoichi looked back over at Sakin and Kantron.

Hoichi dropped a few gold pieces on the diner's table as he left. The only reason he had decided to stop there in the first place was due to the lack of people, and the food told him why the diner was empty. As with so many towns before this one Hoichi had not learned anything about what his past. It did not help that most people in town kept to themselves, making it harder to find anyone who had visited his home town in the past. Outside the diner the street was heavy with activity, being as it was midday this was of little surprise. Not wanting to be stuck in the crowd, Hoichi turned into the nearest alleyway he could find and walked to the edge, never entering the crowd. By now Hoichi would have decided to leave town, but something out of the ordinary caught his eye. It was not the two girls assisting an obviously injured third female, but instead the knight that was talking to them. Is that a woman? Can't be. The knights would never allow such a thing. Unless, they do not know. Hoichi was not surprised by the idea that someone would be able to trick the knights, since most sat too high on their thrones to believe it was possible, but by the fact that someone would try. It was no secret that the knights did not take kindly to being tricked, since most believed themselves to be near-gods. Hoichi remained hidden in the alleyway, keeping an eye on the scene. The thought that a knight's travels may have led to his village is what kept him from leaving, but the fact that one would be stupid to directly approach a knight stopped him from moving forward.

Anime Good or Evil, which do you like better?
Zephyr replied to ChibiHorsewoman's topic in Otaku Central
Definately the evil ones. They have all the really awesome "toys" with which to cause havoc. Also, they do seem to have more depth in anime then they do in any of those recycled Hollywood movies. Proof of this is in Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory, where the bad guy (Blond haired one, forgot the name) is trying to use a Gundam with a nuke (which violates some law in the series) to honor his fallen allies, and show the Federation the true horrors of war. He was a bad guy with honor, morals, and a purpose that had nothing to do with pure killing. I think the bad guys are given a lot more credit in anime then any American movie. They are smart, well prepared, and occasionally border on being almost good, or having what could be viewed are good intentions. And besides, they are not as restricted by conflicts of morals, which leaves then open to create trouble (which is always fun to watch). -
Name: Hoichi Gender: Male Age: 19 Appearance: http://images.darkhorse.com/covers/11/11853.jpg (human in the middle) Weapon: Daikyu (long bow) and a dagger Element: Earth (darn, someone beat me to Fire) Bio: Hoichi remembers very little of his past before the age of 13. He awoke inside of a small cabin in the middle of a wooded area, and has since been working in town to survive. During his time in town he met a young woman named Akane who believes she is somehow linked to Hoichi's past, and wishes to help him remember in the hopes of knowing the truth about herself. Bits an pieces of Hoichi's past return to him in nightmares, but never give him enough to learn everything. Recently he left his home, and Akane, behind in order to travel and hoefully find someone that knows something of his past. Personality: Hoichi is often uncomfortable around people, but still seeks out areas where he can be near them, while still seperated from them. He has rarely made friends durning his journey, but protects anyone he does manage to befriends.

In truth I believe that neither oath has as much meaning anymore as most people would like to believe. I think that the Hippocratic Oath which most doctor's follow is more of an unspoken series or rules. Most are covered in the "official" version, but the others are based on the morals of society (scary thought, right?), and as a result are harder to break then the version Azure listed. Of course, I could just be hoping there is still some good in society.

OOC: #$@!, internet provider. Hasn't let me do anything since Friday night. I need a better service. *Continues grumbling* Quel stalked quietly through the dimly lit grove of trees. The area was mostly flat land, but this mini-forest had still managed to thive alone. By now the group of "misfits," for which Quel lacked a better word at the moment, had traveled quite a distance. The were finally forced to stop as the sun disappeared over the horizion. Everyone else was circled around a small fire to stay warm for now. Using what little light still remained, Quel had set out to find some food. Within the trees he heard a small noise, and worked his way over to it to find a lone wolf hunting for its own food. Moving slowly, so as not to draw attention to himself, Quel got a better vantage point and aimed his hand at the beast. The silver fur of the animal's chest was suddenly discolored red, and it fell to the ground as the psionic arrow hit its mark. Quel walked over to it, said a small prayer of thanks and forgiveness, then lifted the wolf onto his shoulders and walked back to the group. Everyone looked up as the misshapen shadow of Quel returned to the area. Sakura got a sour look on her face and said, "You didn't have to kill anything, you know. We have more then enough food to eat here." Quel did not even look toward her as he set the wolf on the ground and removed his dagger. "Fresh meat will provide more energy then the dried fruits and berries that most people carry. Also, the pelt will be worth trading when we get in town." As he spoke, Quel skinned the wolf and set the pelt to dry near the fire. Using three large sticks he set the wolf meat over the fire to cook, and covered the blood on the ground with dirt, so it would not attract any hungry creatures.
Originally posted by Flashlight Almost everything Studio Ghibli (The makers of Princess Monoke). Grave of the Fireflies is their best work, in my opinion. Just look through what they offer and I'm sure you'll find something that interests you (And don't put it off cause' it's old, it will still be good).
I agree that Grave of The Fireflies is one of the best stand alone movies, but there is one thing that anyone thinking of seeing it should know. It is very depressing. It will put a lump in the throat of even the most emotionally hardened people. Other then that, it is an excellent look at how WWII effected the Japanese civilians, and how any war can effect the civilians in the contries involved. The only movie titles I can think of right now are Princess Mononoke, Ghost in The Shell (a personal favorite), and the Cowboy Bebop movie (which requires little knowledge of the series to enjoy).

OOC: My charater is sitting in a talking chair. Yep, it's official, he's lost it. :P IC:Quel never took his eyes away from Scout as he stood up. By now the others were giving Mat some space at the sound of the humming gem, save for Cathal, who was edgy and a little confused by the events. This did not bother Quel in the least. To him the noise and everyone but Scout no longer existed as he stared for a time. "You are right you know," Quel finally said. Scout returned the comment with a quizzical look. "About other's personalities, that is. They are difficult to understand, even with my empathic abilities, which are severely limited." Was it Scout's imagination, or did Quel's eyes seem to glaze over then harden for a moment? It was almost as if something from the past had been dredged up, then suddenly blocked out. Scout did not have the time to think it over as the sharpness in Quel's eyes dissipated, and the looked on with a calmness in them. "However, even if I do not understand your personality, I now know that you were serious about your reasons for calling us to this point. For now that will be good enough. I am in."

OOC: How did my charater go from kicking the door in to kicking it down? "Any questions?" The words were greeted by silence as the group seemed to be working out what they had been told. Quel, who had closed his eyes while thinking, now opened his eyes and stared Scout straight in the eyes. "Yeah. I've got a question for you." At that moment Quel sprang forward, directly at Scout. With great ease Quel drew his sword from behind him and swung it at the area of Scout's head. At least, that is where is was before Scout ducked, then drew his own sword in defence. Quel let the weight of the sword spin him around as he passed by Scout, then stood still for a moment, staring as though his eyes could bore into Scout's soul. Another lunge and the pair's blades met in a clash of power. In another attempt to slip past Scout, Quel wound up with the other fighter's foot in his chest. The group watching the two fight were caught of guard as Quel slowly stood and let out a slightly ragged laugh. Quel rested his sword on the dragon scale covering his shoulder, then carefully sheathed it once more. Scout's face twisted in a look of near hatred. "Would you care to tell me what that was about? There was no reason for that." "I beg to differ," Quel replied. "You speak very well about you plans, but they are just words. In the middle of a fight one's mind becomes focused and their emotions are easier to read. You could have been lying with your words, but you can only tell truths will emotions."

*Quel walked calmly along the outskirts of the Eclipsed Forest, since the interior would be impossible to move through without light. Up ahead he could barely see his destination on the horizoin, Frontal Peak. Being told to proceed to that "tower" by a piece of paper from the sky, oddly enough, had peaked his ire a bit, but his curiousity had won out in the end. Now it was just a matter of getting there. Deciding to be fully prepared, Quel removed his sword from the sheath on his back. Years of training with the sword had allowed him to use is one-handed, despite the weight, and to wield it as others would wield a mucm smaller blade. From a pouch on his left hip he removed a whetstone, a small block of stone the size of his hand, and ran it over the blades of the "split sword," as he called. Each stroke of the whetstone sharpened the blades to a finer edge, ensuring a much faster, and cleaner, cut with each swing of the blade. It took less time to reach Frontal Peak then he had figured, so Quel stopped for a moment. For a few moments he looked around, as if to get his bearings, before suddenly swinging his sword, pointing the tip at a nearby tree. By focusing his mind Quel sent of barrage of Psionic Needles from the tip of the blades. The tree splintered as the invisible mental energy smashed straight through its truck. Before the tree could fall, Quel rotated at the hips, and thrust his left hand at the tree. He unleashed a less focused attack, called a Psionic Wave, that knocked the top of the tree off from where the previous damage had occured. Quel smirked and sheathed his sword. He finally approached the door to Frontal Peak and, with a kick, flung it open. Walking slowly once more Quel entered to see what would await him next.*

Name: Quel (pronounced Kell) Gender: Male Age: 19 Appearance: Quel is 6' even with short brown hair and green eyes. Often his eyes seem soft, and uncaring, but they occasionally seem to look straight into a person's soul. Quel's normal attire is a pair of black jeans, black boots, and a white T-Shirt with the arms torn off. On his right shoulder is a large scale from a dragon, which he stole from a collector many years ago. A cape of black fur hangs fror around his neck. Mutation: Telekenisis. He can project waves of mental energy from his body (directed from any part, mostly the hands). He cannot directly move things that are alive (i.e. lift into air). Personality: Quel is a very confusing person. He gets along with most right away, but will never start talking to some. It is likely this is a result of his mental abilities giving him advanced warnings. Those he does trust as friends Quel will protect at almost any cost, despite the fact that he often seems a bit of a loner. Weapon: Quel carries a broadsword that is split in the middle with a one inch gap. Near the base the blade form a diamond shape, with a baseball sized, red crystal in the middle. Quel also keeps a dagger in his right boot. Bio: Quel lived in small village of steelshapers (blacksmiths). He was raised by a family that specialized in blades. Shortly after his twelth birthday his village became the sight or a bloody slaughter as neighboring villages fought for control of the weapons maker's services. This sent Quel into a rage and brought his abilites to the surface. In a fit of rage he killed almost everyone that had been in the town, enemy and friend alike. Leaving behind his past, Quel stayed long enough in the village to forge his "split sword" and dagger before destroying everything that was left. To survive he has had to steal, lie, and sometime kill, as he traveled place to place. In his travels Quel has lost a lot of his past, including memories of his village, parents, and his last name. Quel rarely stayed in one place for more then three days, saying it stopped him from seeing more, and also to let him move farther from the past, and faster. Those who have met Quel rarely remember him, unless he wants them to, as he does not try to leave a lasting impression on many. Those he befriends, on the other hand, rarely have forgotten him. Extra (opptional): Quel can focus the size of his attacks to create "Psionic Needles," (very small) "Psionic Arrows," or "Psionic Waves." (Very large)
Also i didn't know there were summoning spells in this game, i'll look for them.
If you go to Theta Server (Dun Loreag), which is the second one opened in Infection, and try going through the dungeons on levels of 25-30 you should find about one or two treasure chests with Summons in them. You may have to clear the entire dungeon to find them, but that will give you more experience points.
-
First thing, level up big time. At least 30+ as a minimum. Make sure you always have a wavemaster with healing abilities Then what you need is a strategy for all three characters. There are two that I suggest: 1) Stand and fight: Simple one, fight head to head with Skeith while your wavemaster heals from the sidelines. Just be sure to ressurect the wavemaster quickly if he/she dies. 2) Two-pronged Attack: This one works best for me (against most bosses in each game). Bring Blackrose along for this one, as she is a strong blade carrier and will be the front line. While she hacks away at Skeith, and the wavemaster heals, you stand back and hit him with long range magic spells. If you can stock up on Summons (found in high level Theta dungeons) they do some major damage. You can also assist in healing from time to time. Pure Water is a good thing to counteract Skeith's Judgement attack.
