What do you want it to say? I'd be glad to do it for you. :)

I finally watched the DVD yesterday and I must say, watching Bert throw up was quite disgusting. Well, if that's what you have to do to make amazing songs, it's ok with me. ;) Does anyone know if Bert McCracken and Kelly (bleh!)Osbourne are still dating? If I were him, I'd be throwing up a lot more often, being around her. By the way, I can't stand any of the Osbournes.

The only thing that I don't like is how the rounded parts are jagged. Very different. I really like it.

Art Bow to the Leh [Banners and Avatars Inside]
Dan Rugh replied to Patronus's topic in Creative Works
They're all pretty good. One thing that really bothers me is on the matrix one where the text is behind the picture of the person. You need to change the layer order, unless you wanted it like that. It says "Matrix Style," right? Other than that... Good Work!!! :) Edit: Staccato is one of my favorite fonts. *claps* -
Ok. Before you think I'm crazy, know that I did this one by request for a member named InstantRamen14. I can't believe that there was actually a block of dried ramen noodles in my scanner! It turned out nice, though. The matching avatar: Yes, that is the flavor packet. Here's a Mario Golf banner I made today. This one could be better. I need suggestions on it from everyone. So, post away. That logo was a ***** while cropping.

The top one says "The Wandering Monk, Miroku." I wanted the text to be crazy like that. The second one says "The minute you turn your back on the future, the past will destroy you." That's called cursive. :p Yay! I can finally post new stuff after 4 days of no replies! Ok. Here's a Gene Starwind (Outlaw Star) banner I finished yesterday. I like the way the background turned out. And here's a Soujiro Seta banner from Rurouni Kenshin. I did this for a request, but when I came back to post it, I found out that the person wanted an avatar. Stupid me. Nice blue, no? This is a Teen Titans banner I made for Duelist_D. Nice and colorful. :)

Your welcome, Stuart, for the picture location on that last one. ;) Yeah, I guess I like it. I just think that the three white lines that kinda make a secondary border look kinda wierd there. It looks good overall. :) Now if someone would just post in MY thread. :(

I haven't seen a topic like this so I decided to make one. Welp (yes I meant to type welp), what is your gaming genre preference? What games do you think are the best represented of these different types of games? Are you the Adventure type? Do you enjoy traveling with Link through forests, collecting anything that could possibly be collected and slashing down some enemies at the same time? Or perhaps you like the Fighting genre. Can't take a few days without smashing a few heads in Mortal Kombat? Find yourself longing the day that Soul Calibur II comes out? Platformers fit your taste? Who doesn't love a little old-school Mario action? Dont forget about the Arcade genre. Still playing Pac-Man? Can't wait to get your hands on those Super Monkey Balls? :therock: Are you as addicted to Puzzle games as much as a street-bum is to crack? Asking your parents to take you to Dr. Mario when you're sick? You bought Pokemon Puzzle League for the puzzles, not just to see your favorite cuddlies, right? Or maybe Role Playing Games are your fancy. Do you enjoy taking your party of friends out to search a castle and beat the giant monster boss at the end? Pssst.... Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles is on it's way. Racers, you say? Going around in circles at over 100 mph can be fun, huh? Or is it that this is the closest you'll ever get to these expensive-as-hell cars? There's always the First Person Shooter fans. How can you not feel accomplished after shooting a roomfull of guys in their faces? Are you a jock at heart and play a lot of Sports games? This includes the extreme sports games as well. Did you just spout "Totally tubular, dude!" after going off of that jump? :nope: Lastly, do you prefer the Strategy kind of game? Willing to sacrifice great graphics for some commanding and conquering? My favorite genre is definitely the Adventure type of game. The Zelda series has become my favorite series of all time. I also like the Mario, Resident Evil, Megaman (hello game genie), and Sonic the Hedgehog series'. I love fighting games, too. Ever since I played the original Street Fighter at my cousin's house, I've been hooked on punching and kicking enemies into oblivion. How about everyone else?

I looked at this picture a couple of days ago when you first posted it and I thought it was a real street sign. So, I said sarcastically, "Wow. She turned the picture into a banner. That's some photo editing." But now that I know that you actually changed the name on the sign and in Paint for that matter, I'm impressed. I guess that shows how good it is. You fooled me!!! heh.

I like the one from Weis Kreuz. It's got high quality pictures and a neat design. Keep on keepin' on. :p (lol how corny)
-
Please. :nope: Did you think before posting this? But anyway, he'd eat the margarine on his bread uncaringly.

Two more that I did as requests for people: I made this one for someone named darkside And this one was for Tsukasa_hack I would really appreciate some replies this time so I can post more banners I've made. ..::gasp::.. This thread was on the second page!!

Now here's a crazy amount of chibis. It's like a Fushigi Yuugi chibi fiesta! *Grabs a pair of maracas and continues to do the Chibi Dance with Chichiri*

Actually, I think they scream a little more on this CD. I bought it, by the way, and didn't feel like editing my other post. I really like "Under a Killing Moon" and, surprisingly, "All That's Left" has really grown on me. I need to listen to the CD more to really say anything intelligent about it. So....... *puts in CD*

Anime Anime names for half human half animals (neko=cat/human)
Dan Rugh replied to Kaola Su's topic in Otaku Central
I think "neko" just means cat... as in kuroneko-sama (Lord Black Cat) from Trigun. Fox is "kitsune." -
"Hmmm... another Dragonball Z banner? Of Gohan? He must've found a site with some good pictures from DBZ, I guess." ~~ That is what you are saying right? Well, if you are, then you're right. heh. This has to be Gohan's best look throughout the entire series. Do you like the purpleness?
-
I didn't mean yellow, red, and orange. I meant one of the three (hence the slashes). This is what I had in mind: Oh, and I think some text would fill up that empty space nicely.
-
It's nice. The sunset really does look perfect. heh. I think it would look better with a border. Try one with one pixel of black, one pixel of red/orange/yellow, then another one pixel of black.
-
Damn, I don't know how you do it. I wish I knew how to do that kind of stuff in Photoshop, what with the airbrushing and all.
-
I've tried to watch it a couple of times, but it never really caught my attention just like all the other anime they show on TechTV.
-
I started watching it until they started showing the graphic sex scenes. That was too much to be shown on FX. If I can't be comfortable watching a show while my mom is in the room, it shouldn't be on basic cable.

Yay a new banner! This one is Tapion from one of the best DBZ movies. He's in a tie of the coolest character from Dragonball along side Broly. The reason I like him so much is because he plays an ocarina like Link from Zelda and because he just looks so different from everyone else. I decided to use orange for this one because it looked good with the pictures and not a lot of banners have orange in them. Plus, it's my favorite color.

I was going to go buy it today, but I fell asleep and forgot. I'll edit this post tomorrow when I buy it. I'm glad you say it's awesome though, because the single they have out now sounds more TV friendly than their other music. :)

Samurai X was too good. It was really cool to see the other side of Kenshin.

I absolutely love this band. I have liked them since they came out, but after hearing the song Sometimes I Just Go For It, I have decided that I love them. The song is all piano and it is beautiful. I bought the "new" CD Maybe Memories CD + DVD on the day it came out and have only gotten to listen to it once since last Tuesday. As I sit here one week later at 2:00 in the morning, I find myself repeating this final track over and over again. Anyone who loves piano music needs to hear this song by any means necessary. The Maybe Memories DVD has a video diary, video bios from all the band members, music videos for A Box Full of Sharp Objects, The Taste of Ink, Buried Myself Alive, and Blue and Yellow, the making of The Taste of Ink and Buried Myself Alive videos, and a live performance from the Henry Fonda Music Box Theatre (March 21, 2003). The Maybe Memories CD, on the other hand, has live versions of Maybe Memories, A Box Full of Sharp Objects, On My Own, and Say Days Ago from the self titled, debut CD. With that, there are 6 extra tracks entitled Just A Little (unreleased from the debut album), It Could Be A Good Excuse, Zero Mechanism, Bulimic (all from the home demo), Alone This Holiday (from the KROQ Christmas album), and Sometimes I Just Go For It (unreleased music for a song idea from the debut album). My other favorite The Used songs are Noise and Kisses, Blue and Yellow, and Poetic Tragedy. I know someone out there has to love this band too. Tell me.
