That's friggin awesome. I've never drawn anything from Yu-Gi-Oh! might have to try sometime. That's the only time that Yugi looks cool.

The animation only took about 20 minutes. But before that, I had to make the initial banner and crop the extra pictures of Nuriko. So, I really don't know how long the whole thing took.

The first Scary Movie was funny. The second one was only funny for the first scene with the priest and the throwing up. I don't know how good a third one could be...

This is Mitsukake ([i]meets-KAH-kay[/i]). He's featured with the little Tama-neko. He He. I made it simple and floral. heh [img]http://kangarugh.250free.com/mitsukake.jpg[/img] Like always, the kanji is "shin" meaning [i]sadness[/i] and is located on his left palm.

Did anyone get the new Saves the Day CD, [i]In Reverie[/i]? I sure did. [center][img]http://www.otakuboards.com/attachment.php?s=&postid=487224[/img] [size=1]All the art in the book is very pleasing to me. Of the 12 pages, 9 of them have only art on them. The lyrics and thank you's all fit on 2 pages while the back cover is just light blue.[/size][/center] First off, this album is a little different from their other ones; even mellower than [i]Stay What You Are[/i], which was thought to be a departure from their normal. Chris sings differently, a little higher and nasally, but this does not mean that it's not good stuff. At first, when I listened to it, I was a little disappointed that they changed their sound. Now that I've listened to it a couple of times on my way to class in the mornings, I'm happy with it. I [i]do[/i] kinda miss Chris' old singing, however. Here's a breakdown of the songs for ya: [size=1] 1. [i][u]Anywhere With You[/u][/i] - I downloaded this song about a month ago just to see what the new music sounded like. To be honest, it took me a while to get used to it. This is a great song, though. It's one of the few upbeat songs on the album, having more prevalent guitars. Sample Lyric:"I'd rather be here/ than anywhere with you." 2. [i][u]What Went Wrong[/u][/i] - This is one of my favorite songs on the album. It sounds really happy, but actually isn't. It's about being arrested, I believe. Sample Lyric: "We sang a song of sorrow/ slowly to remember what went wrong" 3. [i][u]Driving in the Dark[/u][/i] - Another happy song. What can I say? Sample Lyric: "Ever since I first saw you/ standing in the black frozen night/ I've been blind/ but I'm driving in the dark towards you/not stopping 'til I catch the sunlight/ in my eyes" 4. [i][u]Rise[/u][/i] - This follows an up and down singing pattern. Me gusta mucho. =P Sample Lyric: "When the sky starts burning/ the earth ain't movin/ we all become sane/ and we rise in the morning to kiss the scorching sun before it falls. 5. [i][u]In Reverie[/u][/i] - The title track, obviously. Like [i]Anywhere With You[/i], this song is a little faster. There is a little slow down in the middle, though. Sample Lyric: "So once again I swim in reverie/without your love/ feels so long ago I can't remember now/ where we began 6. [i][u]Morning in the Moonlight[/u][/i] - Another faster one. I really like this one, too. The song is less than 2 minutes, though. Sample Lyric: " The moonlight in the morning sun sends shivers over my skin/ my memories are slowly slipping and I'm sailing against the wind" 7. [i][u]Monkey[/u][/i] - This song has got some strange lyrics. The chorus starts out with "The monkey will bite." Good song. Sample Lyric: "Hello me, are you in there?/ making sure you're not dead/ smelled some rotting flesh" 8. [i][u]In My Waking Life[/u][/i] - Chris' voice goes pretty high in this song and the lyrics are repeated 2 full times so there is no definite chorus. Sample Lyric: "I'm never in my waking life/ dreaming is my all the time/ whether it's the weather or my mind/ it's all too much" 9. [i][u]She[/u][/i] - This is the slowest song on the album and it almost sounds like it could be a lullaby. Pretty, actually. Sample Lyric: "Forever scrolling/ unfolding/ she is the sun burned blue and shadows on the moon/ she is the morning dew/ dangling on leaves leaking into streams" 10. [i][u]Where Are You?[/u][/i] - After [i]She[/i] you almost get startled when this one starts. The lyrics and guitars start immediately, this song being another one of the faster ones. Being, also less than a minute, this song doesn't have a definite chorus either Sample Lyric: "Cause I'm not sure what's going on/ I feel the earth quaking beneath me/ it feels like elephants trampling my hollow chest" 11. [i][u]Wednesday the Third[/u][/i] - This song also has an up and down singing pattern, but is much different than [i]Rise[/i]. Sample Lyric: "Oh, haven't you heard the news?/ nobody came too soon/ surprise!/ our eyes are opening up to you" 12. [i][u]Tomorrow Too Late[/u][/i] - A great way to end the CD. This song starts with distorted voices singing. The chorus is really catchy. Sample Lyric: "When was the last time I held you all through the night?/ feels like a zillion years and I don't want to wait more/ to find you is to lose you/ what is that for?/ tell me" [/size] Chris Conley is a poet. I like his original lyrics and the way he sings them. [center][img]http://kangarugh.250free.com/saves.jpg[/img][/center] Please don't post in here just to say that you think that Saves the Day is a bunch of pansies because we all like different music. :)

If you read the thread title you probably had trouble saying the name. It is pronounced [i]Say-oh-sin[/i] and they are an amazing band from California (Anthony is from Philadelphia, representin' PA!). Although I don't really like to make comparisons, most people say they sound like either Coheed & Cambria or The Used. meh! Hardcore/emo if you must. I saw this band at the Crowbar, a nice little place that has great shows, at my university. They were first to perform out of themselves, My Chemical Romance, and Taking Back Sunday. Anthony is a little weird, doing his Special Ed impression from Crank Yankers, between songs. That can get a little annoying, but the music is great. Well, they have an EP out now entitled [i]Translating the Name[/i] with 5 songs on it (see below). A full-length album is expected to be finished by early 2004. The songs are: [i]Seven Years Translating the Name 3rd Measurement in C Lost Symphonies They Perch on Their Stilts Pointing and Daring Me to Break Custom [/i] I highly recommend this band, for they are now one of my favorites.

Well... I guess you made good use of the spray-paint and rectangle tool. I can't really say much else for a Paint banner.

Tasuki (pronounced [i]TA-skee[/i] not [i]ta-SOO-kee[/i]) is another of the Suzaku Seishi from Fushigi Yuugi along with Chichiri and Tamahome (two others that I've done banners of). Like all my FY banners, I like to incorporate the kanji characters that are somewhere on their bodies. Tasuki has the kanji [i]yoku[/i], meaning "wing," on his right arm. The other kanji in the background has no affiliation with the show and I have no idea what it says. I just thought it added a nice touch to it. Well, you can ask the same thing of Amiboshi. Why is he with the Suzaku Seishi if he is of Sieryu?

Ha! Not really. Rin is just a little kid, no more than 10 years old. She follows Sesshoumaru and Jaken because she has nowhere else to go. Her whole village (including Rin herself) was killed by Kouga and his wolf pack. When Sesshoumaru brought Rin back to life with the Tenseiga, she began to look up to him. Anyway, Sess could be over 100 years old for all we know since InuYasha is at least 68.

Yeah, I think Megaman [b]and[/b] Sonic categories would be fitting since they both had/have their respective anime. I know [i]I[/i] have a few Sonic and Megaman pics I would be willing to submit to fan art. :)

Another one of these threads, eh? I "made" this wallpaper today. It was more of a modification, however. [img]http://www.otakuboards.com/attachment.php?s=&postid=486682[/img] What I did was take a print screen of Saosin's website, then put some extras in it.

Very nice. The one on the bottom looks like Supreme Kai, just drawn in a different style. I also like how the ones on the top right are all mixed together.

I really like it except that there are grey dots surrounding the character. I can't tell if it was because of bad cropping or if you put a grey outer glow with a lot of noise.

What a coincidence! I just finished a banner and right as I was saving it, I got an e-mail notification that someone had finally posted in my thread after a few days. Well, here it is. It's Pen Pen from Neon Genesis Evangelion. He's so penguin-y and cool (heh). The Shippou banner is cool but some of the pics of him are a little blurry. Try using the sharpen filter 'cause it works pretty good most of the time. And like I told you earlier, I don't like how the "Shippo" text cuts off at the top and bottom, but that's how you wanted it. The second one is eh. the upside-down picture is kinda strange looking and I don't really like the repeated imagery. One other thing, I swear. lol. I don't like the slang word "neva." That third one wasn't here before, but it's pretty good. Start putting one pixel borders on your banners and it will make them look more complete. :)

I know the FY answer! In that picture there are [spoiler]...2(Miaka and Yui)...[/spoiler] girls. [spoiler]Nuriko dresses as a girl for a reason, though[/spoiler] I also thought Soujiro was a girl at first because of the extremely high voice and there's something about his eyes.

I think the best way of doing that would be to have a little symbol appear next to a person's name in your friends list whenever they update.
