When you say "seiyuu", that is associated with the Japanese voice actors. If you are talking about the English voice actors then say english voice actors. The InuYasha english dubbing is perfectly fine, by the way. Unless you know and understand Japanese conversation, for all you know, the Japanese voice actors could be just as bad or even worse actors. Just be happy that you are able to see the anime instead of focusing so much on the ability of the voice actors.

Art Rate my newest abnners(warning:Not very good)
Dan Rugh replied to G.D. Ryoko's topic in Creative Works
Well, by looking at how you cropped the pictures, I can tell that they were done in Paint. Looks like you used the spray-paint to "crop". Bakuryu was my favorite character from Bloody Roar, so I was excited to see him in a banner for ther first time on OB. There is definitely room for improvement, but I salute you for attempting to crop using Paint (I know how tedious that can be). -
Wow, Mitch, you are good at this poetry stuff. I have a feeling it might catch on some day. ;) I only do that l33t stuff when I'm talking to my cousin on AIM. It's pretty much all a joke between us and we make it as ridiculous as possible (even more ridiculous than it already is).

I was just talking to Arcadia about this subject last night on AIM. I rarely ever go into the Adventure Arena, but when I did last night I saw an abundance of these types of threads. The one at the top of the forum was the one started by "the 12-year old". It's completely ridiculous that there is even a warning if the people who aren't supposed to see it are the ones making the threads.

I'm definitely not a fan of theirs, but I at least know that they are not a new artists. It's kinda funny when people act like someone is their favorite musical artist but actually know nothing about them. Will I Am had/still has his own show on Mtv 2 where he introduces all the songs in freestyle. I remember back in 1998 when The Black Eyed Peas had that song "Joints and Jams". The video for that song was really neat. You can watch the video here on Rollingstone.com. They also had that one video "Hey DJ" featuring Macy Grey from another album a few years ago that was actually on TRL. I'm surprised someone as trendy as you didn't know that. Haha.

I collected them in 6th and 7th grade. I spent a lot of money on those things, too. My favorite was the Kiwi... it had really cool "fur". I was so obsessed that when I was going on a trip, I had my next-door neighbor take care of my Beanie Babies which I kept in a huge basket. At first, I used to rip the tags off (and keep them) until everyone started making a big deal about them being worth tons of money. I wasn't expecting to ever sell mine, but I started leaving the tags on after that anyway. My cat used to steal them out of my room and throw them all over the house because he likes the sound of the beans. So, I started to keep the basket under a blanket which later became in the closet when he found out where they were. The beanies now reside in my bottom drawer of my dresser at home where they have been for at least 3 years now. Still in good condition, too!

Never thought I'd see a thread about this on here. I actually like the old Further Seems Forever CD (The Moon is Down) more than the new one(How to Start a Fire). Chris Carraba is such a good singer/song writer where the new guy's voice is nothing special to me. It's still good, don't get me wrong, but I prefer Chris's singing better.

I'm not understanding why this thread hasn't been closed for being spammy, but I guess I'll try and steer it in a better direction. I would give Sha Gojyo of Saiyuki a box of nicotine patches or gum. The guy's got a serious smoking addiction. I can only imagine how much more pissy he would get while trying to quit. Haha!

I changed the color of Naruto so everything is blue now. My roommate thinks it looks better with the color in it. Which do you guys like better?

Made a banner today. Took me a while to decide what I wanted to do with it. It's actually got more to it than it looks like. There are two separate pieces of the picture there, one inside the white lines and another outside of the lines. After I separated the picture, I faded the pieces differently so it would have that neat effect.

Anime Who would win ina sword fight Inuyasha or Kenshin?
Dan Rugh replied to ShortySilly16's topic in Otaku Central
Who really cares? It's something that we'll never see actually happening so this is pretty much a matter of who you like more. -
It's better to not crop when you're using Paint... If you do want to start cropping pictures, I suggest using a program that is made for that sort of thing.

So very cool. This colored version looks great. I was wondering what colors you were going to use for him when I first saw the original. My favorite part would have to be the swirls going up his arm and becoming the fire. Oh, and the bloody face is a nice touch. You've got a knack for this stuff. :)

I like it, actually. The yellow looks good for some reason. There is one thing I would change, though. I think the panda's one leg goes too close the edge on the left side. A few pixel nudges to the right would do it wonders. :) Down with number ratings!!!

The game got a pretty bad response from most reviewers. Although Nintendo wanted to make this game easy to play for everyone, I think they made it way too easy. Even an occasional gamer would get bored with one button controls. Yes, I haven't played the game and probably won't, but I must admit that I do like the Kirby franchise.

That's bad post quality if I've ever seen it. The site does work. Click here: MyTheme.com. Well... let me think... I think I got the pictures from... hmmm... the internet... obviously. Where else would I get them? But yes, thank you, everyone, for the complements.
-
All you have to do to make them is go to MyTheme.com and upload the pictures that you have prepared for each part of the theme. It's really pretty easy... well, depending on how complex you want it to be.

A few days ago I felt like getting a new AIM theme, but decided this time to make my own instead of using someone else's. So, I came up with this one of Naota. If anyone else has ever made one of these, feel free to post it in this thread.

Those are just weird. Like I told you before, the two lines of text overlap on the cheese banner and it looks strange. For the Naruto banner, it doesn't look like a lot of time was put into that one. It's obvious that what you were going for in these two was humor and you did pull that off in a strange sort of way Keep working. :)

I played it on a preview disc I got that had Viewtiful Joe, Soul Calibur II, Splinter Cell, Sonic Adventure DX, and none other than Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg. The game was surprisingly fun, but I thought it was a little too easy and straight-forward. There wasn't enough challenge presented in the level I played. A good game, I would say, for platformer fans.

I must get the last word in so... I make banners because it's enjoyable. If people like them, then so be it. If they don't like what I'm doing, then fine. But your "high and mighty/I know everything about Photoshop" attitude got me angry.
-
The first one only did take a few minutes because, essentially, all I did was change the size of it to be banner size. The second one did not take me 4 minutes, by the way. Each of the characters, which were around 600x600, had to be cropped from their backgrounds. I take a lot of time in tweaking my banners until I am completely satisfied with them overall. "From the looks of it" you can't tell how long they take because you didn't make them. You have no idea what all was done in a banner just "from the looks of it". I do what looks good to me so I could care less if you like them.

Hey! I wondered what happened to you. I remember your article that you asked me to read about the Apple Festival thing. It really was good and I told you you'd get in. Congratulations on everything. I'm happy for you. Oh! and welcome back.

We had a check like this when I was in 11th grade, but it wasn't as scary as this one. Pretty much what they did was have the teachers lock us in the classrooms and not let anyone out. During the hour or so that we were locked in, the police and the dogs went around the halls sniffing lockers. I heard that they took the dogs into random classrooms and had them sniff the students themselves. They then went out to the parking lot and sniffed the students' cars. A few seniors got caught for having scales in their glove compartments and I believe some people got caught with drugs in their lockers. I was in an Honors FST class at the time so I doubt anyone would've been caught in there. Heh. Well, we kinda had fun. One kid practiced his English term paper presentation in front of the class. We were locked in for about an hour over time so second period was non-existent that day.
