WW2

The first real anime that I watched was the old G-Force show, which is better known as Battle for the Planet. They used to show it on Cartoon Network, and I got hooked to it. I also used to watch the Sci Fi channel's old Saturday Anime block, which showed cool movies like Project Ako, Iria, Akira, and Kashan. Man I miss those Saturdays, why won't Sci Fi bring it back?:huh:

William, Clyde, and the others emerged from the alleyway, stunned by their new surroundings. Clyde: Amelia, what is this place? This doesn't seem to be Zarcadia. Amelia smiled and stepped up beside the confused Clyde. Amelia: This is a place known as earth. The queen had you sent here until you were needed again. William: Seems we are needed now, why else would you be here? Amelia nodded. Amelia: Yes, it seems the darkness you all have faced in the past, has found a way to return. The warriors were all shocked by Amelia's words. William: How is that possible? Amelia: The queen is not sure. Thats enough talk, time is short, and we have yet to find the others. Sirius: Well I think they maybe over there. Sirius then pointed towards the edge of the city, where a mass of dark clouds had manifested it's self. Amelia: Oh my, seems the dark forces are already here. Come let us make haste! The warriors all nodded, and began their journey towards the sinister, black clouds.

I'm sorry to hear about what happened to you. Gosh, it must be hard going through life with such a burden, and not telling anyone. Normally I would say you should forgive and forget, but not this time. What those guys did was inexcusable, who could do that to family? Anybody who does such a vile act should be [spoiler]painfully castrated and beaten to an inch of their lives.[/spoiler] I hope that thoughts of what they did haunt them til the end of their days. All this may sound a little harsh, but I can't stand people who would do something so sick, and dishonorable. But it seems you're trying to get over it, and forgive them. That type of inner strength is noble and deserves some type of merit. But, again, this is all my opinion.:D

I have to agree with Sky and say the fight scenes between Spike and Vincent were some of the best ever animated. I also really liked the Saito/Kenshin fight at the dojo. Its crisp animation, and fast paced action also makes it one of the best. But thats just my opinion.:D

I have to say my favorite villian in all of anime is Makoto Shishio. This is because he is only trying to [spoiler]take revenge on the government that tried to kill him.[/spoiler] Who wouldn't want to get back at the guys who [spoiler]shot you, and burnt your body?[/spoiler] Plus he also stays with his strict warrior's code, which is if you're strong, you live and if you're weak, you die. :flaming:

Ok, sign me up for the Manga/Anime drawing. That is if it's ok with you.:D I just hope mystical doesn't show up.:nervous:

The movie is a bit slow, but its an all around good movie. I suggest you should buy it only if you're a die hard RK fan. But thats just my opinion.:D

Sure the movie'll be lame, just like the first 2 Spy Kids, but hey Sly Stallone is in it! Go Rocky!!! Now that I look at it, it surprises me that the same guy who directed "Desperado" and "Dusk till Dawn", makes these kids movies.:therock:

Samurai X is made up of 4 episodes, which were released on 2 separate VHS tapes and DVD's, each containing 2 episodes. What you said confuses me too. Maybe it was on sale.:therock:

Yeah, I saw something about that stupid lawsuit. No body put a gun to their heads and told them to eat, it was their choice. Its just like people sueing tobacco companies, in that people refuse to take responsibility for their own dumb actions. It seems now and days, people are trying to do anything to get rich quick, which leads to such irrational behavior. But thats just my opinion.:D

Elswhere, away from the lake, a talented saxophonist played on a street corner. Most people ignored his music, but some would drop some change in his case as they passed by. After finishing his one man concert, the man leaned over and put the money, in his pocket. ????: Not much today. Oh well, tomarrow is another day. He then packed up his sax, threw the case over his sholder, and began to walk back towards his apartment. On the way, he sensed someone following him, and made a detour down an old alleyway. The musician got halfway down the alley, when he heard footsteps from behind. The man smiled. ????: I believe it would be in you best interest to leave me be. That is unless you're craving from a beat down. He then turned, and was surprised to find a girl standing at the end of the alley. He then noticed a man, behind her, with a guitar strapped to his back. ????: What is this? The strange, green haired girl stepped foward, and held out a gem. Amelia: All will be revealed soon, Sir William. The stone then lit up in a flash of light, surprising the young saxaphonist. William quickly rushed foward and kicked the gem out of the girl's small hands. William: Ok, I don't know what the hell you're trying to pull, nor how you know my name! But what I do know is that you're screwin' with the wrong guy! The guitarist (Sirius) then came foward, and grabbed William's arms. Sirius: Please don't resist us! We're only trying to help you! William struggled to get free, before kicking Sirius in the stomach. The guitarist lost his grip on William's wrists, and bent over in pain. William then slipped his sax case off his sholder, and used it to deliver an uppercut to the weakened Sirius. Sirius fell to the ground, on his back. William: Now look what you made me do! All you had to do was leave me alone!

But they don't follow the manga, and in my opinion, aren't very good.:D I wonder if they'll show the story arc after Kyoto. If they do, they'll probly edit it big time, due to it's religious content.

Never the less its still very good. You ought to check it out.:D

I too agree with Sara. You just seem too young to be dealing with these types of relationships. You should definately just be friends now. If you're still friends a couple of years from now, and you still have feelings for them, you should then tell them how you feel. Just give it time. But then again, what do I know about relationships.:D

I heard some where that they cut up the original Shogun Miniseries, and made it into a 2 hour movie. Maybe thats what they're gonna show tonight. On a side note I've taken 3 years of Japanese at my highschool. But the only Samurai movie we watched was Seven Samurai, which was good in its own right.

Alas I am again overlooked.:( But I only have my self to blame. Maybe I should try harder to be noticed by those here at OB. I wonder if a pic would help.....ah who am I kidding. I shall continue to conceal myself. As for my OB crush, it would be practically any girl, within' the reasonable age range, that positivly responds to anything I say. Which is pretty much no one right now......damn I sound like a loser.:nervous:

I have to say the only old Nick shows I really liked were Pete and Pete, and Rocko's Modern Life. Rocko was just about the best Nick toon created, who could forget Filbert, Heffer, and the Big Heads?

I've always wanted to see it, but are they gonna show the entire miniseries tonight? Oh, if you didn't already know, it seems they're making a movie called "The Last Samurai", which is coming out this December. From what I saw of it, it and Shogun are very similar.:D

I don't know too much about this series, only that its about 3 episodes long, which leads me to think its not going to be as funny as Excel Saga. But hey, Nabeshin is in it a little bit, and he's always funny.:D I think ADV will be releasing it around the end of this year, but I really don't know.

Hahahahahaha! You gotta be kidding me!:laugh: Ok this has nothing to do with Samurai X, but the Rurouni Kenshin episode that aired last night on Cartoon Network. The episode was "The Wolf Destroys the Shinga", in which [spoiler]Saito faced off against Usui.[/spoiler] What makes me laugh was the ubsurd edit they did when [spoiler]Saito did his Zero Gattoutsu technique, in which his sword was supposed to pin Usui to the wall. But CN removed the sword entirely, and just had Usui stuck up on the wall, with no explanation on how he was pinned.[/spoiler] I thought this was funny as hell, but it also upset me. But hey, I guess I understand why it had to be edited. I just hoped they would've done a better job of it. :D

Plus, during the scene you hear [spoiler]Tomoe's thoughts on their relationship[/spoiler], no heavy breathing or nothing. So, basically its just hinted that they did the horizontal polka.:D
